Usually when I come into this store, because of past experiences here, I usually just go in and out the door. I don't like to try anything on at any store, I'd rather just go home and see if I like them there. And I only gave this review 2/5 because of the 2 experiences before. September 6: I decide to go in a purchase a pair of leggings. I grab my size and go directly to the register and leave. Cool. Until I got home and realize that I got the wrong size. September 17: I decided to go back and not only exchange for the right size, but purchase another two. So by now I've spent over $300 at their store. I also did use a $100 gift card that I was gifted. September 21: I didn't like how 2 out of the 3 leggings fit, and again I got the wrong size in the one that I did want to keep. so I decided to go back in, exchange and return with my receipt. I got to the cashier, and the exchange went fine but it was the return of the other two that rubbed me the wrong way. She basically wanted to give me over $200 back on a gift card when I only used $100 worth of gift card. I kept explaining to her that I wasn't going to take that because I paid with my card for 2/3 of it. After being there for almost 10 min, holding up the line, embarrassed for her because she didn't get it, I decided to give up and say that I didn't want to take anything and to return all of my 3 leggings and I guess that's what got her brain going! She unprofessionally asked me to pull up my bank statement on my phone to show her that I purchased the leggings with my card, now she's was practically calling me a liar and invading my privacy, but I thought you know what, I'm over her, I knew what I did, and willingly showed her my original purchase on 9/6 from my bank statement. Now remember I told her I just wanted to return everything? She decided to go ahead and do my exchange. At this point I was frustrated and just left but I will be returning them via mail just so I don't have to go back and deal with them. I wish the receipts said their names on it. read more

Dragged the brother in here to get his wife a birthday gift, after I already had him get her a purse. The staff here are on point, like we had 3 chicks rushing us before I could even look at anything. To preface, I'm not a shopper, I already know what I have in my mind and go for it like a Queen at the Mac counter. The first time I went to this location I had the weirdest experience. One of the people who helped me was very friendly but the other was terrible . She was snarky and completely rude to the point where I was in shock. I'm new to this particular Lulu but I don't think corporate would take kindly to her attitude and the unsolicited sales pitch of her other job. I walked in and she asked me where I workout (this is quite common). When I told her she rolled her eyes at me and sighed. She actually rolled her eyes at me! Then she bad mouthed my workout facility and tried to persuade me to attend a certain Sacramento spin class. She went on and on about it and when I didn't indicate any interest she completely ignored me the rest of the time. The sad thing is I'm not the only one who has been put off by the sales people. I told my friend about my experience and she said she gave up on this location because of similar experiences. Now she drives all the way to San Francisco or Roseville to shop at Lulu! I ended up going back because I had to return some things and my experience was completely different. The people working there were fantastic despite the fact the store was packed. They were helpful and really nice. The girl I worked with before was not there (thank god) and the team was really great. If this was my first time I would have given it 5 stars. However, because of my initial experience I can't give them full stars but I can't let one bad apple ruin it for the rest either. I plan to go back to this location and if I run into the awful person again I'm going to tell her that her attitude is completely inappropriate. read more

I never imagined I'd have such a wonderful experience at Lululemon. The staff was wonderful (especially McKayla and Morgan- go say "hi"), the layout fresh and organized, and the specific-to-Sacramento touches just delightful! ("Get Down Sac Town!") The Sacramento location is the only Lululemon I have ever frequented, but I love the small-business vibes (you'd never guess it was a chain!). Lululemon really brings a sense of community to their store which is fantastic considering it's in the middle of a mall! Lululemon supports local artists and vendors, which as a local photographer I am so thankful for. Now, can we talk about the Post Workout Cardigan? I never knew I had a dream sweater until I saw this fine garment let alone tried it on! Talk about a work out motivator. Although LLL is really expensive, I love their designs, quality and fit. A lot of yelpers are saying there was poor customer service, but in my experience, I get pretty good customer service. I'm definately not a regular, but the few times I do go in, I do get help. Some of the employees may not immediately greet but they are helpful as long as you ask. I think the staff here is friendly and thoughtful, and will help you as much as you need. I had a question about mens bags, and the employee showed me all the bags, and even demonstrated the different aspects (compartments, etc). I think this store is friendly and nice, and I'm guessing maybe some of the other yelpers with lower ratings simply never asked for help. Just ask an employee for help, and I've learned that they're thoughtful and very considerate :] read more

If I had the (financial) ability, I would be in the store all the time. The staff is so friendly and has great suggestions every time I am in. Solid men's workout gear. Shorts and pants mostly. T-shirts seem overpriced. They switch gear names and change the product in different ways each season. So if you liked the way a pocket was created in their shorts one season then the next season it could be the pocket is on the other side. It's strange. Love the clothes and employees are nice. I had an issue with a pair of leggings and the lady at the register said their seamstress could stitch it and walked me to the back room to talk to the seamstress, Stephanie. She said she couldn't actually stitch it because of the location of the tear. I was really sad to not be able to fix it. This was my 2nd pair of leggings I've gotten there, my first pair I've had for 3+ years and have worn them and done a lot more activities in them and never had a problem. Stephanie explained that she would do a quality exchange for me but next time it would have to be purely a manufacturing problem. I really appreciated how she handled the situation. Yes, this place has very expensive clothes and there is no sale section but I believe you are paying for high quality designs, clothing and extremely positive detail oriented service. You are greeted instantly once you arrive. I came in with the goal of trying/buying the ABC pants for men. The rep was helpful in picking out the correct size and sent me to the dressing room. I've never met friendlier dressing room works, everyone is high on happiness at this place i seems which is good to have in a clothing store. after trying the pants on, the offered to size/hemm the length for free and pick it up in 2 days. I was a pink slip to bring back and when I came back, they remembered me and handed me the tailored goods quickly. upon leaving, although the cashier was answering a call, she still took the time to yell out "bye" as I was leaving, talk about good service. This is not a gap, old navy, J crew, etc, I believe this line is successful because of the culture that they exude and the positively rubs off on you. read more

I have had a few bad experiences with this lululemon location in the past but this week I had an awesome experience. I believe highly In customer service if someone is broken or messed up it should be fixed, replaced or returned. I usually don't take anything back from anywhere but this time I had a small issue with the threading on a pair of pants I was nervous because sometimes it's a hassle when trying to exchange or take something back. At lulu they were so nice about it, apologizing and trying hard to find a bottom that I would enjoy better. I really appreciated there kindness and will be back to this location again not only for the high quality clothing that I enjoy, but also for the customer service I experienced. read more

While I'm happy to have a Lulu lemon at this mall, having previous retail experience I didn't think their customer service was very good. A pair of leggings I wanted wasn't available in my size at store, one of the girls gave me the item number and told me to use their phone to call the other stores. This is by far my favorite Lululemon I have ever purchased from. I live in the Bay Area and a lot of the time I'll wait until I'm near Arden Fair just so I can shop at this location. The store is always clean and organized. It's super easy to find what you're looking for. The staff is so nice and extremely helpful! They're all very knowledgeable on products and their suggestions are always spot on. The store manager, Dakota is like a wizard. I typically don't write reviews but after seeing how bad some of these reviews were, I felt a little obligated. I went in there yesterday (7/31/18) with my two kids- 2 years and 8 months in tow and was welcomed by another mom who works there and Kat. I desperately needed some new work out clothes and had to go with my kids alone because my husband is up in Redding working the Carr Fire. And these ladies were SO unbelievably sweet. Kept my kids busy while Kat helped me find some clothes that really fit my mom body of two I walked out of there feeling good about my body and obsessing over my new goodies. Especially the "on the fly shorts" and pants! Thanks Kat, for being so sweet even when I was overwhelmed with chaos!!! Did not get a good vibe from this location whatsoever. Their sales associates do way too much to the point that it's extremely overbearing and uncomfortable. I'm not sure if Arden is the best place to have a Lulu location because it's very apparent that they're desperate for a sale. I'm an indoor cycling instructor, and I generally shop at Lulu home in LA - none of the associates there are this aggressive! After 10 minutes of browsing and being followed by an associate trying to show us every single clothing item we were looking at, it was time to go. Let me first say, I've been a fan of LuLuLemon for years now, they have been my "go to" for my yoga wear, and outdoor athletic wear. So when they finally opened their Arden Fair location, I was really excited. After a short stint at their 20 St. location downtown. Which was limited at best, & difficult to just park and run in! The Arden Fair store is convenient, ample parking, well lit with upbeat music and a beyond friendly and helpful staff. They have a good selection of sports bras and yoga mats. Along with accessories such as headbands, socks, gloves. The athletic wear they do stock is ample, even to the point of what can be best described as over stuffed racks. Which can be a good thing as far as availability. But the reason for my three star rating is the "selection" of items, mainly their yoga bottoms and jackets all seem to only come in a very limited range of colors, mostly black and odd shades of grey. I'd like to see more of a variety. I'm hoping come spring they will introduce some bright and fun colors. I've always been a fan of their website, and in the past have found many cool and cute yoga outfits. But I've yet to really find anything as cute in the Arden Fair store. But I do drop in for basics as I'm still a fan of the Lululemon brand. read more

I love this place! Their service is always the best and I enjoy having the personal HONEST opinions with their staff. While trying on multiple shirts, tanktops, and t-shirts the staff gave their input onto the style and fit to ensure I got a piece of clothing that looked good. Sooo I have a friend who works at another Lululemon and she is as sweet as cheery pie, the staff here not so much. I walked and was never even acknowledged. They have really cute, well made stuff that I am totally interested in, but with what appeared to be 5 staff members and not so much as a hello it really ruined my excitement. I walked out after a few minutes feeling almost discriminated against. Perhaps they took a look and thought my frame wouldn't fit their cute stuff. Oh well, I found some cute stuff elsewhere. I've only recently started shopping at Lulu after losing some weight and (finally) feeling comfortable enough to wear their gear. I have to admit that I had some preconceived notions about the staff and shopping here, but those were completely thrown out the window after shopping at this location. I am now obsessed with their clothes and am here pretty often and EVERYONE is so nice. They're so helpful and are able to answer any questions that I have. I went here, when ive been visiting my friends in Sacramento and i live in orange county ca. I always frequent lulu in the oc and the experience is exceptional, i wasnt sure if the same quality customer service would be here but it indeed is and maybe even more so! They people here were great, accomadating, kind, quick to reference anything that i needed and just generally decent and lived up to the clear lulu way of handling customers. Yes its high end which i like because the quality is great! ..what i hate is how they sparse out the clearance items and don't give them a designated rack. honestly not a fan of this lulu. they hardly ever have any sizes in stock. i tried some shorts on that were on a mannequin and i've done this before at other locations, and basically when i told them i wanted to purchase them they told me they couldn't. never been to any store that was unable to sell me what was on the mannequin even though my item was completely sold out in stores and online. other locations have even retagged the item for me. oddest policy ever but not surprised with lulus overrated self. honestly over lulu at this point and need to just find a new better activewear company to purchase my gym clothes from. read more

When my husband had to return an outfit that he had purchased me for my birthday due to the fact that we had just found out I was pregnant and I wanted to wait until a later date to buy something that would fit better, the petite Asian customer service woman (not wearing a name tag and busy speaking to her friend who is visiting her at work), gave him a rude and unprofessional attitude when he asked to return the outfit for a refund using the gift receipt that he had in the bag. She refused to give him a refund with the gift receipt only, as he had forgotten his original receipt that day. He was told several times by the young woman that " she couldn't help" him and "there was no way that she could do the return without the regular receipt." He explained that he had the same credit card that he purchased the outfit on along with the gifts receipt And asked her if there was any way for her to look up the purchase in the system with the gift receipt. Instead of getting assistance from her (he was clearly disrupting her social hour with her friend), he ended up having to return to the store at a later time (which is completely out of his way) to return the outfit with the "real" receipt. I was shocked that my sweet husband had such a poor experience with Lululemon. He was having a stressful day and this was the last thing he needed on top of the fact that he felt he was being completely snubbed - possibly because he was a man in a predominantly female patronized store? I'm not sure. I just have to say that I will not return to purchase something at a later date & will instead purchase my yoga clothing elsewhere. Had the customer service person offered to let him speak to a manager or offered to at least check into whether or not a refund was possible with the gift receipt, I think he would've felt like he was getting at least some form of customer service instead of a "no, I can't help you" packed with rude attitude. read more
