It was just okay Greek food and very overpriced for what you get. Just lacking in the flavor dept.

When restaurants started opening again after the COVID shut down we were so glad to return to Luna Grill for take out and a fresh simple family meal. The food is great and the employees are terrific. Nice to have something a little more casual in the neighborhood. The sampler appetizer is a great way to start for two people and their chicken kabobs were tasty. Service was a tad slow, but I'm sure they will work out the kinks as they become more established and organized. read more

Good food, but toxic service. When we went, all nearby restaurants were open but Luna Grill was closed for indoor dining. I needed to use the restroom but it was pitch dark. I screamed why. Employees said there was no power, but how come music was playing, AC was on, and the emergency lights in the restroom were not triggered on? I needed to use the restroom with or without the lights. In the midst of using it, the lights mysteriously came on - maybe the employees realized I would be making a mess without the lights? After I got out, my food mysteriously turned out slowly prepared - more slowly than everyone else's. read more

My husband and I are in LOVE with this place! We are vegan and there were plenty of options for us - tons of non-vegan (and delicious I assume) options as well! Des, the GM, was so easy to talk to and VERY knowledgeable about the menu, which I always appreciate. App: Falafel -- came with 4 falafels, cucumbers, tomatoes and tahini sauce (which I basically drank it was so good) Entree: Beyond Burger and the Classic Wrap -- both were fantastic!!! Drinks: all of the lemonades (regular, mango, and pomegranate) were great Dessert: hubby's favs were the carrot cookie cake thing & baklava. Service was so extremely slow for lunch. We came in with a table of 4. 3 of use ordered dishes with gyro meat. I got my gyro wrap first. It took another 10 minutes for a kids gyro to come out and then 30 more minutes before the last gyro platter came out. It was weird for them to bring our dishes not together but I would've been okay with it if it would've came out closer together. It should take 40 minutes for one of my party to get their food after I received mine.... people who ordered to go go their food much quicker than we did even though we ordered before them. Very good atmosphere inside, but lack of parking in front of the restaurant was confusing. You can park in the garage. The price on the menu wasn't the same as the price being charged at the register, the cashier asked for help and a lady who came to save the day didn't know why that was happening. She told the cashier just give him cash discount! And she went back to what she was doing. It took about 15 minutes before I get me food ( little long) but the food was piping hot, and looked great. Also the ice machine was broken. As I looked at other plates being served, presentation looked great. I got my food with quick apology for the price mix up. Got a Gyros plate with fries and tomato and rice. I think the meat needed more flavor, and the rice needed more salt. Overall good food. But not authentic Mediterranean or Greek ! read more

Picked up a to-go order on Saturday night. We ordered 3 gyros, Greek salad, fries, and grape leaves. Establishment was clean and inviting. Food was good but not impressive. Gyro meat was shaved very thin, flavor was good but I am not accustomed to thin gyro meat. Salad and dressing were both mediocre. Fries were thin and flavorful. A bit soggy but of course that was due to the order being placed to-go. Again with odd texture, the grape leaves had fantastic flavor but they were mushy. My parents and I visited today after receiving a free hummus promo in the mail and had a great time! Stacey at the register was friendly and helpful, the food was hot and in good portions, and the beer was crisp and cold. We got the hummus, a happy hour free appetizer (falafel with two beers), a burger, a beyond burger, and a chicken wrap. The French fries were crispy and delish and the hummus/pita combo was a stand-alone favorite. Everyone was very full and satisfied when we left! Overall, a great visit. read more

I had seen Luna Grill around Fort Worth and never had given it a chance. When I found out that there was a location in Clearfork it instantly made me want to give it a chance because it's my favorite shopping center in Funky Town. When you walk in you instantly get a smell of Zoe's Kitchen and the same vibe, but this is more upscale, you order at the counter when you walk in, which is actually what I prefer at restaurants. One thing I want to point out, the gentleman at the counter was very helpful, and took his time to make sure we understood everything and made all the right choices. I don't know his name but want to give him a shoutout, something like that makes the whole experience for me even when food is bad. We got the combo appetizer which had a bit of everything! We got the Gyro rap, gyro and chicken kabob combo plate. What is really great is that each plate comes with a salad, bed of rice, grilled tomato and pita bread. It took about 10 minutes for all the food to come out, love fast service. One of the girls would even come out from behind the counter to check if we needed anything. I really liked the 3 different types of lemonade that you can choose from. Regular, mango, and pomegranate! Now to the food, let me just say, AMAZING, it was all on point, very fresh, chicken was juicy, gyro was fresh and the salad was not soggy. The rice had the best seasoning and was not overpowering! All and all this was a great experience and a wonderful location, where you can walk out and go shopping for a couple hours! I ate here with a friend on Friday evening. The service was great, the food was delicious, and it was very clean. I love Mediterranean food so this place had high expectations. We got hummus with pita as an appetizer, the bread was fresh and warm. I ordered the Gyro which came with a salad, it was perfect. My friend ordered the veggie kabob, it came with rice, a salad, carrots, and the veggies and was so much food. This place was delicious and the price point was perfect. Our whole family loves this place, and we can only say that about one or two places in town... we're high maintenance! My wife has a gluten allergy, and the folks at Luna always take extra care to take care of us. Every time we come I say I'm going to try something new, but I've never been able to get beyond the ground sirloin kabobs. My kids love the quesadillas and the kids gyros. I finally tried the gyro meat today from one of my kids' plates and it was amazing. Perfectly seasoned. I may put it in the rotation with the ground sirloin. The ambiance is great for family dining or also a relatively quick business lunch. Not too loud, but not so quiet I worry about bringing the kids. The staff is always the perfect level of attentive. Chelsea took great care of us today. Still waiting to have a bad experience here. Hasn't happened yet, and I come here a LOT. read more

We got lucky enough to go to the soft opening. Food was outstanding. For our appetizer we had the spicy feta with pita. It was great. Just the right amount of spice. We also had the Flat chicken kabob and the Gyro plate. Both were wonderful. The carrots we're the best we've ever had. Only slight improvement would be on the salad. Either the lettuce is bought pre cut or had been cut several days before because some of the edges were hard and brown. But that won't stop us from going back. I think we will be regulars. read more

Great food at a reasonable price! I tried the gyro plate, it came with basmati rice, a salad, and a choice of grilled tomatoes or carrots. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the mixed appetizer with hummus, pita, stuffed grape leaves, couscous and falafel. It was middle of the road that would meet a craving for Middle Eastern food if nothing else was available, but I wouldn't call it great. The hummus was fairly tasteless. The falafel was overcooked and the grape leaves were tough to chew. Maybe I'm just spoiled from eating in places in Northern NJ, just outside of NYC, where there are tons of authentic cuisines to choose from, all in fierce competition with one another.
