I've only had delivery from here so I can't speak to dining in. I don't understand the rave reviews. The food is just ok. It's like a hundred other places...decent but unremarkable. And it's overpriced. Flat chicken It's highlighted on the menu. It's not really that flavorful and the portion is nowhere near what some reviews seem to suggest. Got it with all-salad instead of rice and the salad was pretty typical. Falafel Not so good. Probably prepackaged. Tahini was good. Hummus Very good. Lots of flavor. We ordered from GrubHub and, of course, it was late. This meant cold chicken and warm salad. Maybe we would have had better luck dining in. Can't say we'll order again. I came in with my mom to order a salad for takeaway and it definitely felt like it took a long time, but I'm pretty sure it was only 10 minutes, which is completely reasonable. I think this place is great. It's clean, seems a bit smaller than the scripps ranch luna grill, but they're both good. I still like the scripps ranch one the best! This place was clean, I saw people receiving their food and it looks delicious! And I could hear people talking about how good it was. If you plan to order food for there, you place your order and they give you a number to place on your table so they can bring it to you when it's ready. All the employees were cheerful, they were joking with each other it seemed like it great environment. If you want to grab some lunch after going to the target this is a great option! Updating a previous review, after having multiple online orders with errors on delivery I had posted a lower review. Since then Luna grill had reached out and offer a gift card which I declined and just encouraged them to strive for better more accurate deliveries. It's been a few months since that review and since then we have ordered 4 times through their app and through door dash. I have been coming regularly to Luna grill since they first opened. The food is generally very good but unfortunately it seems you have made another poor business decision. Your decision to replace the saffron rice with some cilantro herb seasoning for what I assume is cost will be reflected in your sales. The new seasoning on the rice tastes like soap and ruins the taste of the dishes. I understand removing the earlier pomegranate rice as you probably didn't have many requests, but the saffron rice is a staple to your menu and Mediterranean dishes. I was very disappointed with my meal as I had come specifically for your rice with the flat cut chicken. Better to charge another quarter for the seasoning than ruin the flavor of successful dishes. read more

This place comes off as a "fresh" Mediterranean grill, but inside, it seems like a dirty taco shop. The decor is not what I expected, the dining room floor had food all over it, and the employees were disinterested and very unfamiliar with their own menu. The prices were pretty high for what you get, and judging by the clientele, they cater to the Carmel Mtn Ranch crowd who wanna feel like they are eating healthier. I ordered the Gyros plate, and they gave me three small triangles of flat bread, not enough meat, and my plate was dirty. I've been to this location multiple times and the food is usually amazing, but it had been a while since I've tried them. Tonight I tried the cornish plate and it was simply outstanding. Succulent perfectly grilled pieces of chicken with a bit of char on a bed of rice with a small side salad. I am completely disappointed in this store. I have eaten at Luna Grill other locations and have been completely satisfied. Today, my daughter and I decided to pick up lunch here at her request. She loves their Greco bowl and so I ordered the kale salad. We don't live in town and by the time we got home I saw that for a $12.00 salad( I added the gyro meat), there were no figs and was half the amount I would have expected to. The salad was good but not for the price and items missing. Then later I'm checking my account and found they added $5.00 to my order. We order from Luna grill a lot. We usually get the family meal for 4. Each time we order I feel that there is less of everything and just not prepared as when this special first came out. When the family meal first came out the grilled vegetables were delicious and seasoned well. The meat was always delicious and seasoned well too. However, both the vegetables and the meat were just bland. The sirloin tasted like a dry piece of hamburger. Also the dressing was barely half full. I'm not sure we will be ordering the family meal anymore. It just does not seem to be as delicious and affordable as when it first came out. read more
