Well after my friends made me aware of this place I finally drove over to give it a try Atmosphere- perfect Clean very clean restaurant and bathrooms So for my search to obtain crispy carnitas and crispy shredded beef I obtained 1 today The carnita tacos are seasoned perfectly the taco was a soft shell I prefer a crispy one but I should have asked Beans and rice are a couple levels above that standard beans and rice the north Fort Worth area The others in my party go Salad with the fajita beef fantastic! The other member got the steak fajita it was perfect no cheap meat used at this place We agreed it worthy of several return visits to explore quite an extensive menu BTW thanks to TJ for excellent service a great young man read more

First time to dine here and I probably won't return. While I enjoyed the crispy chips and zesty flavor of the salsa, I did not care for the taste of the lime marinaded fajitas, the seasoning of the and rice and average flavor of the beans. I never have liked guacamole or sour cream, so they added to the negatives. Service was very good though, decor is pure Mexico, and the ambiance is lively. Mixed review here, starting with what we didn't like. TIME! The time it took to get seated and then wait for our food was crazy long! A table of 8 adults and 3 kids was served before us - a table of two adults. However, the food was bomb! It was our first time there and they gave us a sampling of two little beef fajitas. SO GOOD! Everything was so good, and our waiter, Jeff, was fire! Definitely try this place for Tex-Mex, and ask for Jeff. Just make sure you budget your time. read more

Well I didn't order any food but my companions did . I just order a Mango margarita and dined on the free Tortilla and salsa . They were delicious my companions had Mahi tacos and the shrimp enchiladas . They said was delicious . The one that had the mahi tacos was her first time eating there . We sat at the bar the bartender was very nice and attentive. It was very nice not overly crowded. But we did have to wait a few mins for a bar seat . It was nice mood, nice bar area . Service could've been a bit faster as several times we needed to try to find our server or having to ask another server to find ours. Will defo be back, though. First time eating here My wife had chicken fajitas and I had the Pablo. Both were fantastic. Mark, our waiter was quick with the tea and friendly. The flan for dessert was great with the berries and whipped cream. We love Lupe Tortilla! They have so many Gluten Friendly options available. I usually get nachos, enchiladas, or even the puffy tacos. My favorite thing is the chicken fajitas! Their chicken is just delish!! Today I decided to go for brunch and wow! This was probably the best breakfast I've had in awhile! I got the carne asada, scrambled eggs, and potatoes with corn tortillas. Brunch is available on the weekends from 9-2. You definitely want to try it out! read more

This is only about the drink I ordered. I love spicy & saw the advertisement for the "Spicy Pineapple Margarita: Muddled with char-grilled pineapple for that smoky sweetness, our Spicy Pineapple margarita includes the bold Ghost Tequila for a smooth yet fiery twist. Hand-shaken with Lupe's exclusive mix, a splash of triple sec, and topped with fresh pineapple juice" OK SO mine did not look like this. The 1st one had nothing on it but a lime & tasted like pineapple. I took it back & the next one had very little Tajin, and a lime. I had to ask for the pineapple & it was not charred & nothing was muddled. But the food is good so I won't take away from that. read more

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. It was pretty busy. My husband got a filet mignon medium rare and I got the mahi mahi puffy tacos. Not good any of it. It took about 45 min for us to get our food which wasn't a big deal the waitress apologized but when we did get our food, the food was cold. The tacos came cold and soggy and the steak was dried out. We ended up paying about 90 with tip included. Was not worth the price. The waitress was great though very sweet, I was not impressed with the food. read more

Dion ambience is loud fun and inviting. Just imagine everything fast moving going going people buzzing all over the place, lots of chatter, and the great smell of food We had a pretty big group and a little man who created something to keep him occupied. This was the perfect place. The salsa they provided was absolutely delicious. I think I went through two bowls. The queso was good but I would prefer a little more heat. I can't even tell you what all we ordered other than my girlfriend and I shared a enchilada plate and I don't even normally eat enchiladas, but they were so good. I was even impressed with the rice which is another thing I don't eat very often. My sister and her wife also ate everything on their plate and was raving about the place. Second time here. First time was pretty good, this time NO BUENO. My wife ordered Shrimp poblano enchilada for $20; got two with refried beans and rice. She opened up the enchiladas, surprise 2 pieces of shrimp cut in half length wise per enchilada, tons of cheese and 5 dime sized, very thin poblano's. $20 buck for that? I ordered green tomatillo enchilada's; excellent tomatillo sauce but the enchiladas were 3/4 full! Very disappointed. Service was excellent, place very clean but they are waaaaaay over priced for what they give. May go back there but I'd give it 2 1/2 stars. Sorry..... read more

One of the bartenders came over and asked us to leave because she was saving the seats for two other patrons. Unbelievable! AND he brought me a mini fajita taco to try and it was AMAZING . I came here since I love homemade flour tortilla!! Sitting here at this location as we speak. Got her approx 1 hour ago. Waiting for a buddy to show up. I order a corona and a queso. 35 min to get a corona and additional 15 to get the queso. Ordered the our entrees. They were out of both our dishes. So we settled for enchiladas. Plates came. Beans were cold. Rice was not cooked all the way enchiladas themselves awesome! . TOLD the waitress about it she responds"thank you for the feedback" will this be separate checks or together? What!!! Yea I am from Colorado and rant and rave about this place. We love this place! Service and food are always great, prices are about the same as Julio's but I think the food is better (and I'm a fan of them too). We've been a few times and always get some fajitas, this time I got chicken and shill, previously tried the beef. The marinade in all are delicious. The chicken burrito is huge and husband ate the whole thing. Even the salsa to start the meal is one of the best I've had at a restaurant. Do yourself a favor and get something with tortillas, obviously when it in the name, it better be good. I mixed it up this time and got corn... omg, amazing! Yet again a great way to spend part of our day. Zerik, our fantastic waiter, recommended Carne Asada and eggs from the brunch menu. Thankful he did! The meat was perfectly cooked, flavorful and juicy. The refried and potatoes were yummy and the drinks were great! We tried the Bloody Mary, the mango margarita, and the mimosa margarita, all were so yummy so we decided to also get the Bloody Mary and berry margarita to go.Great place with great service to spend brunch that turned into an afternoon . So where do I start. Jordan them was the name of our server and she was amazing. She made table side guacamole and was on top of all of our needs. We got there a little later than we wanted to and they closed at 9am, but she didn't push us to leave. It was great to see that. As for the food I love the pork beans they give you with the salsa. Visited Lupe Tortilla for lunch the day after Christmas. The restaurant is located in the busy Presidio Shopping area. There's ample parking. The restaurant is large and clean. Although the restaurant is large, the wait was pretty long. It looked like they were short staffed but everyone we came in contact with was friendly and provided outstanding customer service. I implore everyone to please have patience with service workers and establishments. They are trying their best and are often short staffed. I had the large top shelf margarita and barbacoa tacos. The margaritas definitely hit home. Sooooo good. The tacos were delicious and my friend said the chicken fajitas were equally scrumptious. Even said the tortillas were top notch. I would bet a kidney that there was absolutely zero potato in that dense chewy "dumpling " whatsoever. It was hands down the worst Gnocchi I have ever eaten. It tasted and looked like folded over pappardelle with the consistency of super dense pasta. It was so bad my daughter in law asked for something different and I just didn't eat mine. Eventually she got the chicken parm meatball with spaghetti. We all tried a bite. Again, it was okay but I've tasted better at chain restaurants. And I'm Italian so that's saying something. I don't know if we got them on an off day or what but after spending over $200 for 4 people for lunch, none of us will be returning.

For dinner, we shared a plate with a Shrimp and Poblano Enchilada and a Spinach and Artichoke Enchilada, complemented by an order of Queso and Sopapillas for dessert. The Enchiladas were quite good for a chain restaurant. The queso, however, was generic, reminiscent of what you'd find at a ballpark, though the chips were fresh and perfectly salted. The real highlight was the sopapillas--hot, sweet, and served with a delightful array of dipping sauces. We came here craving chips and queso, eager to enjoy the cool evening air during an unusually mild Texas summer. It turned out to be a pleasant outing. I encountered an issue with Lupe Tortilla regarding a party of 18 attempting to make reservations. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we were informed that the establishment has a limit of 14 guests due to family flying in from Seattle. The manager's demeanor during this interaction was perceived as discourteous and unaccommodating. Consequently, this experience has resulted in a loss of revenue for the establishment both for tonight and potentially in the future. Regrettably, I cannot foresee myself patronizing Lupe Tortilla again, and I would caution against doing so, especially for groups exceeding 14 individuals, or indeed, altogether. read more

The veggies tasted like they have been submerged in water for a while. We also ordered pastor, asada, and chicharron. The chicharron was the best out of those. The pastor and asada were good but not great. The restrooms need some work as well not very pleasant to use. The inside was nice and spaced out so again has potential but needs some work in the main areas reviewed.

For an appetizer, we got the spinach artichoke dip. It was okay -- pretty average. It tasted mostly like cream cheese, so if that's your thing, you'll probably enjoy it. It wasn't bad, though -- we did finish it. My boyfriend had the fish tacos and said they were phenomenal. I, on the other hand, ordered the half chicken, which was unfortunately way overcooked and really tough to chew. For sides, the zucchini was excellent, but the "loaded mac n cheese" was horrible -- easily the worst part of the meal. I actually had to send it back. They did take the chicken dish off our bill, which I appreciated, but we still somehow ended up with a $90 lunch bill -- for just one meal, an appetizer, and a couple of drinks. Definitely felt overpriced. All that said, our waiter was very nice, and the place itself had a nice, chill vibe. Just wish the food had matched the ambiance -- and the price point
