Usually with dip manicures I'm super cautious about trying new places because I have very delicate nails and don't want to have them destroyed AND I hate the look of really thickly coated dip, which seems to happen often when you have nails as thin as mine. I got gelx and they turned out thick and had overflowing, dried polish on the underside of the nail. After paying $70+ to get my nails done, I was expecting a better job. When I went to get them removed at another salon, they were shocked to see to see the sloppy work, too. That's how you know it was bad... Called to schedule an appointment on a Sunday morning and was able to get slotted in a couple hours later. Had a lovely gel manicure with Tracy, who was extremely meticulous and gentle with the way she removed my previous set of Gel X extensions and hard gel. It took over three rounds of soaking in acetone and drilling to finally get the extensions and glue off, and she was very careful not to hurt me with the drill. I also originally wanted a different color but because part of my nail was very brittle from having extensions for too long, she suggested that I go with a slightly darker periwinkle instead of the lighter polish I chose originally. I love the color that she chose and the manicure itself was done well. I'm a very picky person with my nail shaping and Tracy's placement of polish was very precise, and she spent a lot of time cleaning up the edges which I was very thankful for. In some other salons they don't seem to care about neatness or cleanliness but I was glad to see that all of the nail technicians were wearing masks, gloves, and using sanitized tools and clean hot towels. She also gave a great short massage with lotion and cuticle oil at the end. The gel manicure was $42 and removal of Gel X extensions was $15, which was well worth it since the removal itself probably took over half an hour and she was super gentle and very detail oriented. Total would've been $57 but they offer $55 if you pay in cash (the ATM also has a $2 fee), so I just paid in cash since I had to withdraw money for tip anyways. Will definitely be back for gel manicures! read more

Day 22 update post original review. They have royally fxcked up my mid finger nail. Because how thin it was buffed to, my nail continued to crack as it grew and reach the fingertip. No matter how short I cut it, it cracks and peels off my skin and exposes fresh, raw flesh. I have to be extra careful when washing my hair, finding my keys in my bag. My favorite shirt was scratched and my finger has been painful. Absolutely 1 star experience for the dip powder service I received. read more

I accidentally smudged my big toe and they fixed it immediately. I normally don't like people cutting my cuticles but Lien, Doan, and another lady starts with a T are professionals. Only comment I'll make to this otherwise wonderful self care day was the receptionist. She bluntly asked me "Do you have cash for tip"? Hmm.. maybe a better way to ask this is "How would you like to tip? Or even, Would you like to tip?" The first two times I came in my nails did hold up for the minimum of 2 weeks for gel but this last time it's only lasted about a week. I had chipping starting a few days ago so I filed it down to hope to prevent from further chipping but slowly one by one more are chipping and it's a bit disappointing. I really think it's how she shaped my nails at the previous visit- square. I did not want it but she suggested it with my length even though at other places they are still able to almond shape my nails at a short length. I have come to creative nail care twice now and have had such a positive experience both times. Overall: All the staff are very attentive, detailed, and do an amazing job. Designs: They can do any fun and great designs as you can see from yelp photos- and their Instagram! Just bring a photo of what you want and they will make it work. Designs are always done very well and they make sure it matches what you want, you can tell them if it's not and they will adjust it. Attention to detail: They really take their time to get everything right- both shape and design. Durablility: I got dip with gel design on top and it was SO DURABLE. The design remained in tact for 3.5 weeks - I could have kept it with no issues but my nails grew so I wanted them re done- that was really the only reason! Laura is the best!! Laura has done my nails both times and is AMAZING. She is so patient, a perfectionist in the best way- she makes sure things are symmetrical, really takes her time to get the shape and design right, and my nails always look so good after she does them! They have you sit at the chair and they will work on your nails off to one side (as if you were getting both mani/pedi). Lady I had was very rough. I liked how efficient she was though. It's -1 stars because she went a bit ham on my cuticles and ended up nipping right ring finger and still stings and how much extra they charge for the special gel colors (cat eye, foil etc) $8-12+ extra.... boo. 4 stars because I really like the color selections. The nail techs are good but the receptionist (may be the owner) is extremely rude and unprofessional. I texted to make an appointment and I accidentally asked for "Chu" instead of "Chau" to do my nails. I also asked for my pedicure to be done first and then my manicure because my nails are extremely thin so I prefer for them to be done at a table. I immediately received a call from the receptionist scolding me for saying Chau's name incorrectly and told me that it would take longer if the manicure and pedicure were done separately. I apologized for saying the nail tech's name wrong and I tried to explain the reason why I wanted them to be done seperately. She hung up on me as I was mid sentence. I showed up the next day for my appointment and the receptionist scolded me again for not remembering Chau's name correctly. She made a big deal about me not getting my manicure and pedicure at the same time and made me feel really uncomfortable the whole time that I was there. It was 3pm on a Thursday and I was the only client there so it wasn't like I was preventing them from assisting other clients. After my pedicure she made me walk barefoot across the salon to the table to get a manicure. A paper towel or towel to step on would have been nice. read more

The nail technicians are skilled and made me feel at ease with their quality work and attentiveness. However, the host's behavior was a bit unusual. She seemed to rotate multiple technicians to work on different parts of feet, which I found strange. I realized she did this, so that each nail technician would get a tip for me. She was also bold enough to follow up and ask for tips for a nail technician that only added lotion to one arm. I get it advocated for your staff lol but I did not need to give every single person up in there a tip. I've now been to this salon a handful of times so feel I can give a proper review. First of all, this salon is exceptionally clean. As soon as you walk in, you are required to sanitize your hands. In the beginning of this year, they had plexiglass between every station. While they don't have the plexiglass on the massage chairs anymore, they still have them at the manicure tables. And I always see them clean the entire area after each customer. The first time I came here back in March 2021, I left with gel all over my skin and a cut on my cuticle. My first impression wasn't the best and I was tempted to give that feedback. I ended up forgetting and maybe 4 weeks later, my gel mani was still on strong with no chips! It ended up lasting maybe 5 or so weeks before I decided to go back because it was massively overgrown - but still without any chips! That being said, I had a change of heart. Every time since, my experience has been positive - nice long lasting manicures and pedicures and great massages! I went today for my mani and decided to try something new (color blocking) and the business posted the pic of my nails. However it says "extension dip manicure", but it was actually my natural nail and gel! Anyway, I'll definitely be back and this is now my favorite new nail salon in my new neighborhood! read more

I was super disappointed by this terrible experience! I came here because of all the good reviews on Yelp. But I ended up leaving after getting my nails filed, before getting the manicure done. Everyone there seemed very rushed. Staff kept chiding me for taking too long picking a color, and moving around the samples I was looking at, which made me stressed out and confused, making it harder to pick a color. Then, when one of the staffers started filing my nails, she did it very roughly as though in a huge rush. Getting nails done is supposed to be a positive experience. I felt scared and stressed.
