Chau is my absolute favorite. My nails are all grown out and beautiful. She puts the builder gel on over my regular nails. She always does a great job. The pedicures are top right here. A couple of the gentlemen are my favorite because they are super strong and they do not skimp on the foot massages here. I really did not want to write this review. I've been a loyal customer at Valencia Nail Spa for over a year and a half, but this most recent visit was honestly awful. I took a few months off from getting my nails done to save money, but after my birthday last week, I decided to treat myself. I've gotten this exact set done at Valencia before and it came out beautifully. Unfortunately this time, I was assigned to Leo. I almost never request a specific tech because I've generally had great experiences here, but this one was different from the start. I showed him my inspiration photo and chose a silver-blue chrome labeled "01." There was also a silver color in the same book with a similar label, so I was very clear that I wanted the blue chrome. As soon as he started painting, I could tell he was using the silver instead. I stopped him, picked up the book again, pointed to the correct color, and explained it was wrong. He stood up, walked to the shelves, came back without grabbing anything, and continued painting with the same color. Normally, if there's a language barrier, they'll kindly call someone over like another tech or the front desk to help clarify. I've also had past experiences at Valencia where a technician realized a design wasn't in their skill set and switched with someone who could deliver, which I always appreciated. That didn't happen here. Leo seemed unwilling to adjust or ask for help. At one point, I even refused to put my hand in the curing lamp to stop him. Eventually, I gave up and assumed the blue chrome might not be available. From there, it only got worse. He started painting directly on a clear base, and I had to ask him to use a natural pink base and re-point to the inspiration photo. When he began the design, he applied the silver like an uneven French tip instead of a blended ombré. You can see visible brush strokes, no natural blending, and the silver ends at completely different points on every nail. The photos speak for themselves. My toes also came out wrong. Normally, when I get a French tip pedicure here, the technician starts the lining and asks me to check the thickness before continuing. That didn't happen this time. Because I was so focused on how badly my hands were going, I didn't even notice my toes until I got home. The French tip is visibly squiggly, and some lines are much thicker than others. I repeatedly told Leo I didn't like the results and asked for the silver to be blended naturally, even suggesting an airbrush and asking him to grab another technician if needed. I paid almost $200 for my nails and toes and cried the entire drive home across the bridge. The entire visit was absolutely horrible and left me feeling taken advantage of. I don't know if I'll be back, but if I do return, I will make sure I don't see anyone outside of the text who have always been respectful and patient and delivered on what I wanted. I want to make it clear, I made all of this known before going home. I advocated for myself over five times directly to him. And I was blatantly ignored. read more

I came here one time to get a gel manicure and one nail fixed. The space is very big with many chairs for pedicures and four chairs for manicures. The space is quiet and the service is kind but paying $50 for a gel manicure, I was expecting 10/10 perfection But unfortunately, I would rate my manicure a 7/10. I'm a very picky and detailed person when it comes to my manicures and I try to communicate when I don't like something in a very polite way. Lam was very sweet and mostly did everything that I asked, but I noticed my right hand nails were noticeably longer than my left hand nails. I tried to tell her to shorten them, but it wasn't done properly and I didn't want to nitpick and ask again. I had to ask her a few times to fix the shape of a few nails because I felt most of nails didn't look a like. I also noticed that when the nail polish was applied, my nails didn't look smooth, I don't know if it was the polish or just the filing of the nail. Up until my last experience I would have given this place five stars. The last time I went I got a simple Dazzle Dry mani-pedi right before a trip out of town. One of the women was instructing the other how to do Dazzle Dry as she was doing my nails so I know she didn't have any training on it. I've gotten Dazzle Dry many times before and a few times at this nail salon. She touched my nail to see if it was dry among other things which is a huge no no. I pointed this out during the service and the woman in charge said to come back if I had issues. The edges of my finger nails started lifting after two days. I called when I got back into town, but they were closed so I called the next open day and no one answered. They called me back, but I was at work so I just decided to go in the next day. So I returned on the fifth day. The woman who told me to come back was not there. I explained the issue and they acted like I was trying to get a free nail service. They asked me to pick a color and then said they were going to charge me for a polish change because I was getting a different color. Why ask me to pick a color then? I told them I'm not paying again for a service I had already paid for and that I was fine with the color I had. It's unreasonable to ask me to pay a premium price for a nail service that lasts two days. They really treated me poorly and acted like I had never had a manicure or a DD manicure before. As she was fixing my nails they tried to say it was because of something I did because I have fragile nails. My nails have been fragile my entire life and never had an issue like this before. They were speaking in Vietnamese so I couldn't understand everything but some of the words were about my service so I knew they were talking about me. So I told them I didn't appreciate how I was being treated or being talked about in front of my face and then that's when they said they wouldn't charge me. And the woman started being nicer and told me to pick whatever color I wanted and they wouldn't charge me. But why was I made to feel bad and then talked about? Shouting across the salon in front of the other customers trying to humiliate me. I left that place so demoralized and pissed. They told me I should have come back sooner. Some of us have lives and jobs. It's an inconvenience to return for a service that should have been done right the first time. How about an apology for a poor service and wasting my time? It's very disappointing because all my other experiences have been good, they're close to my home and I even bought a Dazzle Dry kit from them to gift to my mother. That's why I'm giving them a three instead of a one star review. I hate to write bad reviews about small businesses, but it's been two months and I still feel bad when I think about how I was treated. read more

Great experience again. I tried to squeeze in my husband last minute to my pedicure, and they were super busy, but made it work. They asked if we could be a bit patience but they'd squeeze us in. We were able to use the pedicure chairs with a hot foot soak while we waited, and it was no more than 30 ish minutes. They have tons of gel colors so you can pick to your hearts content. I went with the deluxe gel pedicure which ran about ~$90. Their gel pedicure lasted about 2 months the last time around so the quality of their work is definitely there. I've been to this nail salon quite a few times prior to today. I had a 5:45pm pedicure appointment. I left work early to get here timely. Honestly, I was late but only by 10min. I was willing to wait even if it was gonna take an hour. I'm still looking at my nails. The salon is new, so everything is still up to par. There are 50000 pedicure chairs, and just a few nail tables. I also love the selection of polish. There are some new gel polishes that I might try later. The two guys that work there are super friendly and they make you feel welcomed. As I was leaving, I got a cute gift back. Appointment was at 5:30 pm for dip powder removal and dip powder manicure. I didn't get wrapped to soak off the old dip powder until about 6:10 pm by the first nail tech. Then, after waiting another 30 minutes, a second nail tech used a metal tool to roughly scrap off the dip powder. I asked her for a short almond and she cut my nails almost to the nail bed and filed them oval. She was rushing and very rough, but she cleaned my nails very well. I kept saying I wanted my nails cut shorter, but still in an almond shape. If it's too short to file into an almond, don't cut it that short. She did it anyway. Then, despite me repeating dip powder several times throughout my appointment, she tried to put hard gel instead. Throughout her cutting my nails too short, I asked for a clear dip powder base and a gel glitter color on top. Just like they did last time. Just like what she had just scrapped off of my nails. I had to say the gel first was wrong and that I wanted dip powder again for her to finally stop and ask her co-worker for help. Then I had to wait even longer for someone who actually knew how to do dip powder. The third and final nail tech that did my nails was nice. She finally finished my 2 1/2 hour manicure. I'm not exaggerating. I didn't leave the salon until after 8:00 pm. The salon is beautiful, clean, and the nail techs are nice. But if you know you are running behind, why isn't that communicated beforehand? On their website it says that only take appointments, so why make an appointment at a certain time if you don't know when you can actually take a customer? Why have me schedule a dip powder appointment in advance if multiple people work on my nails who don't know how to do dip powder and I don't see someone who can actually do dip powder until 1 hour and 45 minutes into the appointment? Why does a dip powder manicure take 2 1/2 hours and still turn out wrong? If I was told, hey we are running an hour behind, that's fine. I can plan around that, but nothing was communicated. When I arrived two other people were already waiting, and people were still arriving. They turned away walk-ins which made sense, but people more people were arriving that had appointments while they hadn't even started on the people already waiting. I saw someone walk out after waiting for a long time and they didn't even notice. The sad part is that this happened last time. It also took 2 1/2 hours. I waited a long time until my nails were finally wrapped then had to keep waiting until someone could do a dip manicure. But last time the third nail tech that did my nails last time did my entire dip powder manicure after waiting an hour and they were nice. She had listened to what I wanted and did a good job. So I decide to give them another chance and thought they were just having a bad day last time. Unfortunately that's not the case and my manicure was worse than last time. When I booked my appointments and got the confirmation emails both said 5:30 pm and both times my appointment didn't start until after 6:00 pm. At least last time my nails turned out pretty well. This time not so much. I'm giving two stars because the salon itself is nice and the nail techs are nice. Other than that, unless you want to wait an unknown amount of time to be seen and service completed, I wouldn't recommend. read more

I wanted to love this place but my nail tech spent the time just peeling off my old GelX along with parts of my natural nail leading to pretty bad breakage - on top of the fact that she clipped my nails poorly so I had to come home and re clip some myself. She told me peeling was the fastest way but I didn't see the results until after she was done. I think it's obvious that speed was prioritized over quality - I would go here if you're doing really simple mani/pedi but for more professional services, I would go to solo nail tech practitioners who will likely spend the time on your nail health to provide you with quality work - of course at a slightly higher price. read more

I wouldn't recommend coming here. I went last year in July for gel x for my birthday, and it looked perfect. I did a simple French tip with shimmer (which took less than two hours). I decided to get them done again for an important event, which was on Friday. My gel x came off the next morning after getting them done. It took nearly four hours (my appointment was at 11am, I left at 2:40pm) for them to complete a simple gold French tip because the first lady didn't know what she was doing. The nails kept popping off, bc the nail glue wasn't any good. The second lady also didn't know what she was doing as there were bubbles on the French, which were slowly chipping. And to remove the four nails off my fingers, she peeled them off with her own nails, after letting them soak in acetone for 10 minutes. I got my nails done on Thursday (5/08), and my nails came off the next day. I called on Tuesday to get my nails fixed, and specifically said that I didn't want to be charged (gel change and pinky). The lady on the phone said it was fine and set my appointment today (5/16) at 6:30pm. After the service, two of the nail artists talked and ended up charging me $35 for changing the color when I paid $15 for nail art and $20 for French tip, which again, was chipping (and I never received any nail art). I paid over $150! And they never told me beforehand that they were gonna charge me until after the service!! I ended up paying and leaving since I didn't want to start issues and have the police get called on me. I also didn't want to blow up since there were other customers and a child present. Idk what happened with the salon since last July, but I definitely wouldn't recommend going. My sister used to go here and had a similar recent experience with them overcharging with their add-ons, despite their promises. read more

Was walking by and spotted this place. The inside looked so beautiful and unlike other nail salons that I figured I try it out. I arrived for my appointment and even though they had me down for 3:30p, when I thought I booked for 3p they look me pretty much right away. The technician Rich was professional, the place was clean, and everyone was very nice. Rich took his time and made sure I was comfortable with each step (making sure the shape was correct & explaining the process of dip removal).
