This is a good, local and reliable pizza place. I am lucky enough that they are in my neighborhood. I called at 6 on a Friday and had a pizza at my door within an hour. The taste and quality are reliable an we rarely have leftovers, which is both a positive and negative. The prices are fair and I really do love delivery from a spot without all the bells and whistles of order tracking and apps. Bonus? Kind of hidden joint on a busy street. Picked up this place while doing Uber eats and thought it smelled and looked fantastic. Gave it a shot as my favorite pizza place seemed far away. Glad I did. Pizza was excellent and at a great price. Employees were very nice. Order was ready when I arrived and was tasty. If I had any complaints it was their ranch seemed watered down. I love this restaurant for Italian delivery. Pizzas are great, pastas are great and the delivery service very good. However, we ordered chcken mushroom fettuccine the other night and it was dry and no mushrooms. For two people we spent $40 and I thought it was only fair to call and ask them to remake and deliver it. They offered to replace it next time we ordered and I said Tonight, I called and placed the order for the fettuccine and a pasta dish for me. I was OK with the up to an hour wait. When it was 1 hr and 23 minutes, I called to check on the order. On its way I was told by the owner and she informed me they would NEVER deliver to me again because I complained too much and tried to get free food. The only other time was because a pizza was so soggy we didn't enjoy it. Probably from the (mushrooms) I hung up startled. We supported them thru the pandemic and tip their drivers well. This place is getting a review for it's great customer service, being clean, having tons of variety & being consistent with their food on at least 10 visits. Price is comparable to the location. They have one TV & barely four seats indoor with a table & chairs outside for a small group. Before ordering a personalized slice, which takes 3-4 min, taste fresh, consist of one topping & cost $ 2.99 + tax for the slice, I have stopped by here for their lunch specials 4-5 time. Lunch special consist of a Slice with Soda or Sandwich with either Salad or Soda & cost $5. Also have ordered take out pizza 3-4 times to go. I like that they have more than just 1-2 size pizza. Yes, they have a system where you don't even have to call and talk to a real person when you're drunk at 3 am. You can just type what you want and they bring it to you. Amazing. After I ordered I received an email with the following information about LW: 1.They make their dough from scratch every day. 2.LW pizza is actually Chicago style thin crust pizza aka cracker crust. 3.They only use the finest 100% pure Fancy Wisconsin mozzarella cheese (never frozen). 4.For you veggie lovers they use only the freshest produce that is cut by hand daily. 5.Their pizza sauce is made from vine ripened fresh tomato puree, spices and virgin olive oil. 6. They import the wings from Buffalo, New York and use real Fontanini Chicago sausage. I didn't know what any of that meant when I was staring drunkenly at my laptop screen, but I do know my food came fast, that it was warm, and I didn't go to bed hungry. They're bouncing up a notch on the star system for my last delivery order. Boom. I ordered a meal deal which included either a large salad or wings, and either a medium 2-topping pizza or a large. I opted for the salad and medium size. Caesar salad and a pizza with fresh tomatoes, chicken, and I added a third and got fresh basil. I also noticed they said they can do "regular" crust, or "thin" crust. I asked if their thin crust was closer to New York style pizza - is it foldable or is it too crispy to do that? He said it was too crispy, I said "could you do a mixture of both your regular and thin? Try to get it as close to NY style as you can, but without making it so thin that the middle can't hold up the toppings?" He said no problem. You guys. You guys. While it was definitely not exactly New York style pizza, I've never been so happy with a delivery of pizza from this place before in my life. It was almost like if I was to make the pizza homemade at home - SO GOOD. The basil was the PERFECT addition to go along with the fresh tomatoes and the chicken. This is definitely my new favorite pizza. The salad was fine, no complaints. Though really, you can't mess up a Caesar! I was craving pizza for lunch, and this was closest non-chain take out place according to the Googles. So I went on their website, ordered a small (10") 2-topping pizza using their Eat24 page. Drove over there about 15 minutes later and got my pizza, paid cash and was quickly on my way. The pizza (pineapple and mushroom, because I'm an adult) was fantastic. I was only going to eat a couple of slices, but ended up eating 3/4 of the pie. I really liked the proportions of toppings to cheese to sauce. The crust was really tasty too. What a hidden treasure LW Pizza is! Located in a tiny plaza off of Clark Ave, this place serves delicious and affordable pizza pies! They do deliver, plus you can order other dishes such as buffalo wings, pasta, and even salad! I've tried the buffalo wings and chicken and mushroom pizza. The buffalo wings were no different than any other wings but the pizza was amazing! It was probably the best chicken and mushroom pizza I've ever had. The cheese was perfectly melted (and the perfect amount too; not too much, not too little), the crust was thin and nicely crisped, and the chicken and mushrooms were juicy and full of flavor. I definitely recommend this place if you love pizza and want a really delicious and fast meal! Also, if you're an CSULB student, they take the Beach Card too! Awesome place! LW Pizza is good! Came here with my sister Laura L. She found it on Yelp of course. :) We were supposed to go to The Deli News but they close on the weekend! Ef that noise! So this was the next best thing, and did not disappoint! We enjoyed the Hawaiian pizza, and my sister picked another one with pepperoni, jalapeno, and bacon. And an order of the garlic cheese bread. I was freakin starving that day, so waiting 20 minutes for pizza felt like forever! On the way back to my sister's place, her car was filled with the delicous aroma from the food. Everything was delicious! The garlic bread was soooo good!!!! The jalapenos on the pizza weren't too spicy, they were perfect!
