Wow! It's my birthday ! My wife took me to lunch, and we have been dying to try this place! A bit pricey for regular dining, but a birthday is a celebration! What caught my eye is the Prime Rib Dip sandwich for $22.00, and my wife ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich. Now I have to say my expectations were high, a sandwich for $22.00, but Prime Rib, yeah baby! When are food came my Prime Rib looked like it stayed to long in the Sun-bed, brown and dry like a piece of jerky and a sparing amount of meat. How could you do that to a piece of prime rib? The bun was just as spectacular as the meat, nothing to write home about! Maybe a new cook? From Bully's? I don't know ‍ I choked down half the sandwich and asked for a box, my golden doodle might eat the rest. I asked my wife hoping hers was better? No it wasn't, dried out chicken, almost like chicken cooked from another day she said! Discovered M3 while perusing Yelp for a new fish-and-chips experience. We usually eat out every Friday at lunch and wanted to try something new. The venue is very nice: warm decor, comfprtable variety of table and bar seating. Short wait at the door for someone to offer to seat us. Longer wait at the table for a server to show and take drink orders. Pleasantly supprised at the lower cost of beers and wine. Even longer wait for a glass of wine and a draft to arrive. The Fish-and-Chips did turn out to be excellent - a light and crsipy batter over very fresh cod. Looked like home-made tartar sauce. Fries were good but might have benefitted from a little salt (and none available on the table). The clam chowder (which has several good reviews on Yelp) was only fair. No potatoes to speak of and carrots -- WHY? The Turkey Club was definitely not a club sandwich with three layers, but the turkey was tasty and the sandwich delicious; maybe a littel overpriced at $18. The menu has some very interesting selections, so we will return to try other dishes and hope that they are as good as the FIsh-and-Chips! read more

I just discovered M3 and went here the other night with a some friends for dinner. We were promptly greeted by a kind host who led us a nice booth. Our drink orders were taken quickly while we perused the menu. It's a huge menu so be prepared to take a minute or two to look at it. Our friends each ordered a dinner salad. The salads were so big they gave one of their salads to us to share. It was delicious and full of fresh vegetables. Then came my beef stroganoff. It was piping hot and came with a nice piece of garlic bread. Both were delicious. The serving size was so big I took half of it home with me. The ambience is nice and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The prices are extremely reasonable. I will definitely keep going back. I just wish I found out about it sooner! read more

Good thing is this place is open 7 days a week, from 11am until late. However, my husband and baby and I had lunch there on a Sunday. It was pretty dead. Service was good, but seemed the waitress had family eating there and she kept going and spending time with them. Felt almost too laid back. Calamari was decent. Artichoke appetizer was not good. Beef stroganoff was pretty yucky and I got a salad with was okay. Fries were below par. Idk how you mess up fries. 100 dollars later we were really disappointed in our meal and will not be back. We were seated immediatley and hour order was placed very quickly. SERVICE WAS GREAT!! Calamari: Cooked to perfection. Not to crunchy and not too soft. EXCELLENT Clam Chowder: I would swear that someones Nona is in the back whipping this stuff up. It is hearty rich and delicious. Mushroom Rigatoni: Super yummy, order EXTRA sauce when you get yours, but definitely try it. Noodle Bowl: I have questions.....like real questions. Bland broth, 4 super thinly cut slices of chicken, some veggies and a few extras you can add in. Flank Steak and Fixins: Cooked to his preference and almost precisely which is hard to do, he is super picky. This had a great blend of wine sauce and gorgonzola cheese. If you like salmon do not skip out on the house salad $6 add salmon $10. They also do an herb crusted salmon salad but grilled is the way I go. Interior is nice darker wood and brick walls with rustic accents. A few reserved spots for the restaurant otherwise you'll need to look around the complex for parking. Had lunch here today with a friend. She had one of their "skillets" and enjoyed it. I had the fried calamari; it was good, but by the end the salt was building up, and I found myself thinking that it was too salty. We split the M3 salad, and I didn't eat much of it. Our daughter came home for the holidays and we took her here for her welcome back dinner. It is a family favorite! The restaurant and bar are festively decorated right now so it feels nice and cozy at this time of year! It was pretty busy but we were seated at a booth fairly quickly. Our server seemed a little overwhelmed - our drinks (glasses of wine and beer) took quite a long time to arrive at the table-- but we weren't in a hurry so it worked out fine. Our waters sat empty from the time we were served until we left. The ambiance pretty nice except I repeatedly heard obscenities from the restaurant employees coming from the bar area. Loved this place, even if it's hard to find at night! Worth scouting out in daylight. It has a comfortable rustic decor-- brick and wood . Service is friendly and efficient, our party of 11 got water and menus quickly. Four of us ordered the prime rib stroganoff and were very happy with it. Others had fish and chips which, according to them, was okay but not exceptional. One had the flank steak and recommended it. Another ordered the largest house saladI've ever seen. Our waiter was on the spot for refills and removing dirty plates, always a key item for me. My only complaint was that they were out of the key lime pie I'd been looking forward to. This gem is a bit secluded, but is perfect for intimate occasions. The interior is dimly lit for a romantic feel and there is plenty of space. M3 has some unique dishes that I don't see in many restaurants. For example is the stuffed risotto balls that is accompanied by a creamy orange sauce. The outside is crunchy while the inside is soft with some creaminess from the risotto. But they also have classic American fare such as pasta and steak. The grilled flank steak is easy to cut and not gummy like how some steaks can be. The cabernet reduction gorgonzola butter is drizzled on top and pairs beautifully with the steak. The mushroom rigatoni has a classic pasta taste, but the portion is large! I'm hoping that they have some seasonal offers because I think M3 would ace a truffle pasta dish. Chose this place for a late dinner since it was didn't close until 10 pm and had a full wine and menu. Food menu had a good variety. Kitchen actually closed earlier, but accommodated for us. Prime rib stroganoff was excellent. Fire-roasted artichoke appetizer was mostly just eating dip. Calamari was good. Other dishes seemed meh. Service was great. Those who had cocktails said they were decent. Ambiance was a wood cabin ambiance, in which dining tables were separated from the video poker section. We come here a lot. Either for special occasions or just for a small family date. Today was aagnificent experience. We had a large party. And I know large parties can be super annoying. They were so patient with us as well as attentive. Always filling the water and trying to even sooth our baby. They tried first with a cherry. She didn't take. Then, tried with oyster crackers. Took she some. She is normally really good when we are out in public, but she wasn't herself today. They took our order. They chatted with us in between orders and pouring wine. Overall food is good, service is great and it feels very much like a family restaurant. Just can't rave enough about that. Of course, we will return and continue to try the vast array of food they have. Note to go early or make a reservation. They are busy every evening and get busier after 530pm. read more

A small place and hidden behind trees in the shopping center, M3 is worth seeking out. There are no prices on the website menu, so I didn't know what to expect. But I was very pleasantly surprised. All the entrees were very reasonably priced, between mid teens to mid 20's. I had the Capellini Pomodori, pasta with fresh basil, fresh tomatoes and toasted pine nuts tossed with olive oil, white wine and loads of garlic. It's a simple dish, but very well made, delicious. The glass of rosé, The Pale, a vin de France, was crisp and delightful with the pasta. That was definitely a bottle that had just been opened. Our server was attentive but not at all pushy. We had a lovely dining experience with friends, 6 entrees, 10 drinks and we each paid just under $50, all in. Not bad for a nice night out read more

It's been a few years since my last review and thought it was time to update to let everyone know how good M3 still is. We spend a lot of Fridays here for their delicious clam chowder. A cup of chowdah and a Sam Adams draft makes me feel like I'm back in Boston. Today we also had the honey dipped fried chicken with honey mustard dip accompanied by fries. For a terrific burger of any kind with many variations of fixings and options, try M3. The coconut shrimp and fried calamari were terrific starters shared by all. Plentiful, crispy and tasty! We were four in our party and having heard the burgers were terrific here, we each order a different type of burger, three beef and one lamb. All were impressed with their orders: BBQ Burger, mushroom burger, The Frisco and the lamb. The burgers were prepared as requested ( all medium). The fries and onion rings were delicious, crispy and plentiful. The service was great, friendly, proficient and professional. The ambiance was warm and private (booth) with nice decor. Met 3 friends here for dinner. They had never been to M3 before. I ordered the house salad and added grilled salmon ($10 to add--sadly, not worth it this time). It wasn't as good as the last time I ordered it. The salmon as more dry and on the edge of being overcooked, perhaps because it was a smaller and thinner piece than the last time I had it. My friends enjoyed their orders of mac and cheese, mushroom rigatoni and a Cobb salad with roasted turkey. Service was fine. But beware they won't do separate checks if they're "too busy." Luckily we were able to have our checks split. I believe it's an important service to have, as many of us dine with our friends and pay for our own meals, out of necessity and budgets. And truly, the tip is much better in the end when you have 3 generous diners paying their dinner tabs. read more

The restaurant is definitely cozy, with lots of wood and warm decor. The staff were friendly. It's a casual place for sure. Apparently they don't take reservations for groups less than six. They have a bar, but it's not fully stocked. I asked for a French 75-our server checked with the bartender, and he didn't have simple syrup (really?), so they offered to make it with triple sec instead. It turned out okay, maybe not enough gin for me. The prices are actually reasonable given today's economic climate, but my main reason for giving three stars is the lack of flavor in the food. I asked for my ribeye steak medium rare and it definitely came out more medium and a little tough. I had to add a bit of salt to it. The mashed potatoes were on the watery side and the seasonal vegetables were lackluster. I love seasonal veggies and I couldn't finish these, even with adding more salt and pepper to them! The calamari was good, maybe more breading than squid, and the sweet Thai chili dipping sauce definitely came straight out of a bottle. The staff were great about checking on us and refilling waters. But, given all the great restaurants in Reno, I'd be reluctant to suggest M3 for dinner. read more

Although I have been here a few times today they definitely deserve a review!! When first arriving I will say they don't have best parking lot but there are a lot of other businesses that share the parking lot. If it's not a busy time they do have some designated parking just for their customers. The inside is a tad dark but still very inviting. Today our server was very friendly and especially accommodating. I had asked a few questions regarding the Salmon Tacos I was ordering (I wanted lettuce instead of tortillas) and assured me that could be done. They were absolutely delicious. I got it with a side salad and their shallot vinaigrette is outstanding!! They have plenty to choose from on their menu as well as a full bar and a decent wine list. Seeing as how we just love the steamed mussels w/chorizo and has so much broth, we asked to have it served w/pasta. went there today at 2:00. There was 4 people at the bar and two couples at tables. The bartender /waitress was too busy talking with the people at the bar to pay any attention to me. it was 10 minutes before she even took my order. Got my salad and after 25 minutes I asked where my flatbread was. She made some lame excuse that the first one was burnt and they were making me a new one. 4 other people came in sat at the bar and she was too busy talking to them to worry about my order. Her language was horrific and she was very loud... Finally got my flatbread yo go. Will never go back. pretty bad service when there was only a few of us in there. Sorry, I just wasn't super impressed. My sisters love this place and know the staff, but both times I've been here, they seem really, really understaffed and the food both times was delivered to the table incorrect. Like completely wrong salads and dinner. Then the exasperated sighs and obvious impatience when a patron says, "Uh, sorry, but I ordered the house salad, not kale." When the server gets annoyed that you don't want what you was delivered erroneously, it sort of detracts from your dining experience. I don't know, I tend to appreciate a slightly more congenial, responsive tone when you're buying a meal and the restaurant screws it up. Call me crazy. read more

I just happened to stop by to see an old friend in the business park behind M3 today, so I decided to stop by and grab an early dinner. George was my server and he was on top of his game! He and the other staff members all gave me A+ quality service. And the eye candy bartender was a nice touch! Lol... Once the food hit the table, it was definitely more than I needed but a great idea for a shared dinner. I got the sweet & spicy chicken wings with fries and the kale salad. Mmmmm-mmmm-mmmm!
