Mainly because our server (guy with a man bun) was unfriendly and didn't seem to want to assist us. He didn't smile until he brought the check, which all four of us noticed. A cute spot, but I just left feeling pretty underwhelmed by the food. They definitely have something for everyone on the menu, with a pretty big array of starters and apps though! We got the chips and salsa, prime rib stroganoff, and the flank steak. Unfortunely we just found everything to be really bland -- the salsa felt like watery tomtatoes and my stroganoff was pretty lackluster. The flank steak itself was good but the sides that came with it were just...there. The staff was awesome in terms of being attentive, grabbing drink and food orders right away though, so kudos to them. I will probably come back and try the burrata skillets once I can have soft cheese again, but until then this place probably won't be in my regular rotation. read more

M3 Restaurant is your classic American restaurant serving all your favorite dishes. Their vegetarian options are very limited but that made it all the more easy to order their white mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful. The garlic bread that came along with it tasted like it was frozen so it's not the freshest bread you can have. Great place for a casual meal. The bar is the best place to eat with multiple televisions for viewing sports events, but the food is definitely more than the usual bar fare. M3 has become one of my go-to lunch spots. Ty hey can get busy but the tables are decently spread out and the noise dissipates so you can hear reach other well. The menu is pretty broad, and will surely have something interesting for everyone I really like their salads! In addition to salads, they have a variety of sandwiches and other bites. I have always had friendly service at M3 and I'm able to dine and get out of the restaurant in a reasonable amount of time which is important for a lunch meeting. They go out of their way to make sure you get a very personalized service. The menu is moderately large offering up something for everyone. The drinks are a little strong. Another restaurant that I can't believe it took me so long to try. Super extensive menu, possibly too extensive, which is by far, their ONLY downfall. Staff is friendly and efficient without being too aggressive. The atmosphere is beautiful and makes you feel like you're in an upscale restaurant without feeling stuffy. The food is phenomenal. We ordered shrimp ceviche which was super flavorful and really tender. For dinner we chose the honey dipped fried chicken and lamb chops. Both came out looking stellar with huge portion sizes and great presentation. And we finished every single bite on our plates. Every flavor was so spot on, the fried chicken was cooked perfectly just the right amount of crisp and moisture and my medium rare lamb was actually medium rare, with absolutely beautiful grill marks and a delicious sweet and sticky glaze. You know those places everyone talks about that somehow slip your mind every time you're looking for it? For me, that's M3. I'd heard and read all the great things people had said, and yet M3 never hit the consideration set. Truth be told, now having been there I see it would've fit the bill to a T on SO MANY occasions, and now I feel bad for missing out for so long. So I remedied that situation this past week! Let's start with the atmosphere. It's low key and warm. Good house music, comfortable booths and tables with several high tops perfect for groups looking to grab drinks and apps! Service was on point. Friendly. Great menu knowledge and quick with recommendations too. Solid upseller too, even if we didn't take that advice ;) Now on to the menu. It's big, but not so big it's unwieldy. There's a large section of starters that I honed in on right away. We started with a grilled artichoke, which came out perfectly tender and nicely charred. The aioli was a great compliment. I wasn't too hungry after that, so I ordered the steamed mussels. For $14 it was a generous portion served with some decent garlic bread. The sauce was a little salty from the chorizo, but I balanced it out with a touch of the aioli from the artichoke and it was a home run. All in all, M3 is gonna hold a spot in my rotation. Prices were beyond reasonable and there were a lot of entrees that caught my eye. Now I've gotta try the sister spot, Moxie's! read more

We had a reservation and met here as a group of 10 to celebrate a birthday at 6pm on a Saturday evening. It is tucked away amongst office buildings off South Mccarran near Lakeridge golf course. When we walked in it felt a little dark but we saw part of our group right away and joined them. There were plenty of tables, some were open and there was no wait for others. They have a bar area with high top tables as well with TVs showing various sporting events. The bathrooms are downstairs where there are also some other rooms that were unused this evening. The restrooms were very clean and well-kept. They offer an elevator for those who are unable to access the lower level via the stairs. A cake and balloons were dropped off earlier in the day for the birthday boy. When we arrived the balloons were tied to one of the chairs to represent his location to sit. After we all had arrived we placed our drink and appetizer orders. We would highly recommend the stuffed risotto balls and shrimp ceviche. Shortly after the appetizers arrived we placed our entree orders. With 10 people we ended up getting a wide variety of options. Everything arrived in a timely fashion and looked amazing. Everyone was very pleased with what they had. Overall this was a great experience, the food was excellent and we felt well taken care of. Highly recommend! read more

First trip to M3. And it feels like you about to walk into a day spa. The building definitely does not look like a restaurant out front. Once inside you are greeted by a warm ambiance and friendly staff. Menu is good and you will find mostly american classics and some pizza. Try the grilled artichoke app. Its great. My wife had the goat cheese pizza which she loved and my burger was great. Perfectly cooked and really juicy. Prices were on point with any other place in town serving quality food. My only complaint would be the beer selection. The rotating tap was 805. I like 805 but shouldnt they be highlighting a local beer? The lack of local beer is a bit dissapointing. read more

I have been here twice now and overall both experiences have been great! Each time I have gone without making a reservation and was still seated right away. You can expect great food, great drinks and great atmosphere all around! The service is average--we got our drinks and appetizer order placed pretty quickly, however our server didn't check on us for quite a while after to take our dinner order. I do have to mention, there were a few other staff members who were great about clearing our plates and filling up our water cups throughout our meal. You absolutely have to get the Mango Brie Skillet. It is such a wonderful dish with great unique flavors and perfect to share with a friend! I ordered their grilled cheese sandwich the first time I ate at M3 and it wasn't anything special, but their Steak Flatbread pizza is a must have for me now! I ordered it with Mozzarella instead of Gorgonzola cheese and it was so delicious. The dough was made perfectly-not too soft and not too crunchy, and the steak was made absolutely perfectly. I had lunch with friends at M3 today. The location is conveniently located with ample parking. We were seated promptly upon arrival, which was a plus. The food and service were excellent, although I regret not remembering our server's name. He was friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. I opted for the salmon tacos with Lemon Orzo rice; although tasty, I think the loaded potato would have been a better choice. My friends enjoyed their chicken/turkey salad. I got the PRIME RIB STROGANOFF $13 prime rib / wide egg noodles / parmesan / mini basil parmesan loaf A pint of the Firestone 805 Wow, the food arrived and the aroma coming from the dish just made me want to dive right in, but I resisted and took a picture to share with others first :) The noodles were cooked to perfection, the onions were nice and caramelized, and the sauce was made perfectly. The only knock on the plate would be the over cooked prime rib, but I do understand why they made it this way and not medium rare like I usually like my prime rib. The bread loaf was good, and I loved that they used what tasted like real butter. My wife got the: GRILLED FLANK STEAK $18 marinated flank steak / sautéed mushrooms / cabernet reduction gorgonzola butter / garlic mashed potatoes / seasonal vegetable The steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and was full of flavor. The seasonal vegetables were the part that made my wife nervous, thinking that these would not be fresh, but they were definitely fresh and seasoned and cook well. The mashed potatoes were light and fluffy with a not over powering taste of garlic. To be honest the gorgonzola butter was the piece that made the dish YUM!. With several options for to choose from for $15 or less, we will definitely be coming back here to try the many other menu options. Maybe I'm just not ordering the right things, but my experiences here have all been pretty average. I've ordered the kale salad and the grilled salmon. Both were lacking in flavor. I'm not even sure what type of vinaigrette was used on the salad because I couldn't really taste anything. The salad has so many ingredients that I thought it would taste pretty decadent, but it was just...meh. The grilled salmon, on the other hand, was also lacking something. Seasoning? Some tartar sauce on the side? The quinoa and vegetables that came with it were also lackluster. I will say, though, that I ordered a vegetable pasta here one time that wasn't lacking in flavor. Maybe they're just not good with "healthier" dishes. I'll probably come back because there's still a few things on the menu that I want to try. My wife and her friend ate lunch at M3 today. Two little ladies ate two roasted beet salads and had one cup of tea apiece. The bill was over $55.00 plus a tip. She talked to a manager later who told her "Prices have gone up". Yeah, I guess lettuce and beet costs are soaring. I've noticed last times I ate at M3 that the place is usually empty, even during normally busy times of day. Keeper. My boyfriend and I chose this place for a combo: date-college football kind of night. It was a busy Saturday night but we were seated in no time. We went for a table at the bar to be able to keep an eye on the game but still have some privacy. The atmosphere was perfect for our plans that night. Casual yet intimate. Playful yet romantic. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. She was a busy bee as she seemed to be the only server in the bar area but we never felt unattended and she came to check on us several times. My boyfriend had the creamy mushroom rigatoni. It was very good, flavorful and topped with tender chicken. I had the herbed salmon salad and was very happy with my choice. The salmon was fresh and so tender and juicy, served on a bed of arugula, tomatoes, mushrooms and topped with feta, pine nuts and drizzled with a lemon vinaigrette. We did not have room for dessert which was a pity because they looked yummy. No worries, though, because we will be back to satisfy our sweet tooth. . read more

We tried this new place tonight. This was a fondue place before I was told. Interesting seating arrangements, they use a combination of booths on the side of the rooms and high tables and high chairs in the center of the dining room. The rest rooms are located in the lower level and they also have two dining areas in the lower level when needed. Quite the extensive menu and small print on paper menu's. I ordered the cioppino, I guess I'm a traditionalist when it comes to certain dishes, their was no mention that the dish was spicy and it was quite spicy. Their was no crab, but in justification of the price, it would have been much more expensive if there were crab in this dish. I didn't like the broth, instead I would have much more preferred the traditional tomato based broth with chunks of tomatoes and onions and definitely not as spicy. They had mussels and small clams and shrimp and skinless salmon. I would have liked to see larger clams an mussels used and some white fish like cod or haddock or even sole. I don't think I would order this dish again. We also ordered and assortment of sandwiches like the reuben, prime rib dips, patty melt and pasta pomodori. The reuben used marble rye which is yummy as opposed to regular rye, but the curry ketchup was hit in my book, actually anything curry is a hit in my book! The only thing I was not crazy about was wasting good prime rib for a sandwich. I would have preferred prime rib be served as prime rib and not sliced thin for a sandwich, oh well that's just me. The prices are fairly reasonable but certain interpretations like the cioppino didn't work for me. read more

I love this place tucked away off McCarran and Lakeside! The vibe is super low key. They have a large full bar with gaming available at ~50%. You can also sit at a high top in the bar area or you can opt for a booth/table in the dining room. They offer a great selection of draft beer (yay for Stella!) and delicious food, which is hard to find at a typical bar & grille. My go-to meal here is the roasted beet salad for dinner: arugula / roasted beets / gorgonzola crumbles / pistachios / shallot vinaigrette. I typically add blackened salmon and it more than fills me up. Tip: get your dressing on the side...I use very little as the salad itself is packed with flavor! I also LOVE their black bean nachos, which is plenty for two people, loaded with black olives / cheese / pico de gallo / sour cream / guacamole / salsa (you can add meat if you desire). The atmosphere and style are chill, hip but not hipster. There were some booths and tables open, but the bar seemed more welcoming, so that's where we perched. Started with the house Cab, which is a screaming deal at only $5 per glass. Upon a quick glance at the menu, we could already tell that the choice would be a tough one: there's quesadillas, bruscetta skillets (whatever magic those may be), lots of yummy-looking seafood dishes/snacks, sandos, burgers, etc etc. I highly recommend peeking at the menu online before even arriving because you'll be there all day just trying to pick what yummies you want to grub on. We opted for the Spicy Steamed Mussels ($12) and Spicy Mac n Cheese ($12). Let me first say that these prices are spot-on, if not insanely cheap for the quality and size of each portion. Spicy Steamed Mussels: YUM. I never thought I'd find a better mussel dish than the classic garlic/butter/white wine sauce but THESE beautiful succulent little darlings are definitely my new favorite. Mussels themselves are perfectly steamed, bathing in a green pool of chorizo-studded deliciousness. The sauce has hints of cilantro and - after confirming with the cook - just a touch of cumin to elevate it. Served with garlic bread with just the right amount of crispy crunchy goodness to lap up that sauce. YUM. Spicy Mac N Cheese: This is one of those dishes that makes me want to call the chef out to the floor, thank him for the meal, and then slap him across the face. I mean, my boyfriend is sitting right there... how dare he violate me that way?! What I mean to say is the level of umami in this thing is not of this earth. It is rich and deep and unctuous. There's chorizo and andouille sausage and a sauce that was made with magic. Just... perfect. Perfect mac and cheese. There were a lot of variety of options, we went with the mac and cheese added blackened chicken as well as a portobello rigatoni and added blackened chicken. They both came out with a side piece of warm bread and were very delicious. The mushrooms in the rigatoni seemed like they could have been sautéed a bit more and also diced up rather than the large slices as well as a bit more saucier as well. The chicken came out very good.
