Prior to walking in I mini panicked, like um are we undredessed? Looks pretty elegantish for Reno prior to walking in. Inside has a very vintagey vibe and is very comfortable and clean. We were seated immediatley and hour order was placed very quickly. SERVICE WAS GREAT!! Calamari: Cooked to perfection. Not to crunchy and not too soft. EXCELLENT Clam Chowder: I would swear that someones Nona is in the back whipping this stuff up. It is hearty rich and delicious. Mushroom Rigatoni: Super yummy, order EXTRA sauce when you get yours, but definitely try it. Noodle Bowl: I have questions.....like real questions. Bland broth, 4 super thinly cut slices of chicken, some veggies and a few extras you can add in. Flank Steak and Fixins: Cooked to his preference and almost precisely which is hard to do, he is super picky. This had a great blend of wine sauce and gorgonzola cheese. Our order has been decided: 1st Place is Clam Chowder 2nd Place Flank Steak 3rd Place was the Calamari Side note: if you like horse radish, TRY IT, WE EVEN TOOK SOME HOME!!! Secondary aide note: We will be back to try other portions of their menu!!!

First time to M3, based on a recommendation from a friend in our group. Casual setting for a professional dinner meet up. Kind and fast service. Expansive menu. I liked: - Artichoke appetizer - Shrimp and Grits Plenty of parking. Something for everyone. Solid restaurant away from the main Reno hub bub.

If you like salmon do not skip out on the house salad $6 add salmon $10. They also do an herb crusted salmon salad but grilled is the way I go. Interior is nice darker wood and brick walls with rustic accents. A few reserved spots for the restaurant otherwise you'll need to look around the complex for parking. Staff is friendly and artichoke is a solid appetizer. It was a working lunch meeting so no drinks but I would come back to check it out again.

Our daughter came home for the holidays and we took her here for her welcome back dinner. It is a family favorite! The restaurant and bar are festively decorated right now so it feels nice and cozy at this time of year! It was pretty busy but we were seated at a booth fairly quickly. Our server seemed a little overwhelmed - our drinks (glasses of wine and beer) took quite a long time to arrive at the table-- but we weren't in a hurry so it worked out fine. My daughter and I decided to split a couple dishes-- the Creamy Burrata & Charred Tomato Bruschetta Skillet and the Salmon Sandwich with Napa Slaw. Both met our expectations and were delicious! My husband decided to get the Rachael Sandwich with Clam Chowder and was happy with his order.

Loved this place, even if it's hard to find at night! Worth scouting out in daylight. It has a comfortable rustic decor-- brick and wood . Service is friendly and efficient, our party of 11 got water and menus quickly. Four of us ordered the prime rib stroganoff and were very happy with it. Others had fish and chips which, according to them, was okay but not exceptional. One had the flank steak and recommended it. Another ordered the largest house saladI've ever seen. Our waiter was on the spot for refills and removing dirty plates, always a key item for me. My only complaint was that they were out of the key lime pie I'd been looking forward to. I definitely will return and reserve my key lime pie when I arrive!

This gem is a bit secluded, but is perfect for intimate occasions. The interior is dimly lit for a romantic feel and there is plenty of space. M3 has some unique dishes that I don't see in many restaurants. For example is the stuffed risotto balls that is accompanied by a creamy orange sauce. The outside is crunchy while the inside is soft with some creaminess from the risotto. But they also have classic American fare such as pasta and steak. The grilled flank steak is easy to cut and not gummy like how some steaks can be. The cabernet reduction gorgonzola butter is drizzled on top and pairs beautifully with the steak. The mushroom rigatoni has a classic pasta taste, but the portion is large! I'm hoping that they have some seasonal offers because I think M3 would ace a truffle pasta dish. Can't wait to see what they come up with!

We come here a lot. Either for special occasions or just for a small family date. Today was aagnificent experience. We had a large party. And I know large parties can be super annoying. They were so patient with us as well as attentive. Always filling the water and trying to even sooth our baby. They tried first with a cherry. She didn't take. Then, tried with oyster crackers. Took she some. She is normally really good when we are out in public, but she wasn't herself today. They took our order. They chatted with us in between orders and pouring wine. Overall food is good, service is great and it feels very much like a family restaurant. Just can't rave enough about that. Of course, we will return and continue to try the vast array of food they have. Note to go early or make a reservation. They are busy every evening and get busier after 530pm.

For a terrific burger of any kind with many variations of fixings and options, try M3. The coconut shrimp and fried calamari were terrific starters shared by all. Plentiful, crispy and tasty! We were four in our party and having heard the burgers were terrific here, we each order a different type of burger, three beef and one lamb. All were impressed with their orders: BBQ Burger, mushroom burger, The Frisco and the lamb. The burgers were prepared as requested ( all medium). The fries and onion rings were delicious, crispy and plentiful. The service was great, friendly, proficient and professional. The ambiance was warm and private (booth) with nice decor. The serving sizes were plentiful even for big appetites. Definitely a place to go again and try other things on the menu.

A small place and hidden behind trees in the shopping center, M3 is worth seeking out. There are no prices on the website menu, so I didn't know what to expect. But I was very pleasantly surprised. All the entrees were very reasonably priced, between mid teens to mid 20's. I had the Capellini Pomodori, pasta with fresh basil, fresh tomatoes and toasted pine nuts tossed with olive oil, white wine and loads of garlic. It's a simple dish, but very well made, delicious. The glass of rosé, The Pale, a vin de France, was crisp and delightful with the pasta. That was definitely a bottle that had just been opened. Our server was attentive but not at all pushy. We had a lovely dining experience with friends, 6 entrees, 10 drinks and we each paid just under $50, all in. Not bad for a nice night out

It's been a few years since my last review and thought it was time to update to let everyone know how good M3 still is. We spend a lot of Fridays here for their delicious clam chowder. A cup of chowdah and a Sam Adams draft makes me feel like I'm back in Boston. Today we also had the honey dipped fried chicken with honey mustard dip accompanied by fries. Everything was crisp and flavorful-chicken perfectly cooked-crispy outside and juicy inside. Service is always great here-we love eating at the bar-so cozy!

We had the best lunch at M3. But our server, Sam, a delightful woman made the meal absolutely perfect. She could have been annoyed with us when we first sat down and had to finish a call. She was patient and checked back with us a couple times before we ordered. The food was great. Started with steamers. Had the prime rib dip and grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Everything tasted great. The star was Sam and the ambiance was great as well. read more

Holy crap. This is literally the best dinner I have had in my entire life, no exaggeration. If you ever find yourself in Reno, you MUST try this restaurant. Food is simple, tasty and fresh. Ambiance is modern, stylish and clean. The waitresses are fun and sweet. Good selection of beer on tap. Salmon salad was very good. Turkey didn't seem like fresh roasted, more like deli roasted turkey. Service was great. Atmosphere very nice and quiet; more adult crowd when we were there. Overall very good. Will be back. read more

Came here with the fam tonight and it was good. I ordered the stroganoff, wish there was a bit more meat. I wasn't expecting there to have celery in it. Wish that it had some mushrooms instead. But overall it was tasty. My sister ordered the mushroom rigatoni with the chicken. The chicken was just plain grilled. Nothing special. Not worth the extra money. My brother in law got the fish and chips and said it taste fresh and was cooked well. We shared a key lime pie dessert and it was very tasty! Our waiter, however, seemed to be catering to the other tables that were ordering a lot of drinks. The busser was helping our table out way more and working his butt off while our waiter just kind of mosied around taking forever to come back to our table. It's bad service when you are literally eyeing your server down trying to get service. We had a restless 2 year old with us. We ended up giving the busser a personal tip because of our waiters lack of attention to our table. Next time I'll try the chicken piccata. It was good food. Would be 5 stars if our waiter provided better service. read more

This is my "Go-To" restaurant. It is rare you find a place where the food and service are always amazing. Food and drink are very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is relaxed and yet intimate. Another great meal with friends... We had a party of six and everyone got something different. I had the Lamb Chops ($18.) They all raved on the food and had a great time...BTW, they were very impressed and will be back... read more

I was waiting for a table with many other people and nobody come. It was 9:30 pm. We call the restaurant and they said it was open. After that someone appear to attend us. The guy start to walk to guide us for our table and a lady appears saying that the kitchen was closed. It was disrespectful and unprofessional. read more

Love this place! I feel like it's a little secret that most of my friends in Reno haven't already been to 20 times. Great variety of meats, veggies and fish on menu. Lots of fun drinks and decent wine selection. Last 2 times tucked into booth in the back and almost forgot it was fairly crowded. Nachos came out burnt and the chicken was cold. Normally this would be a bad review, but the bartender was awesome and got our nachos remade fast. Then who I believe was the manager gave us drinks for free to make up for the mistake. They were all super nice and accommodating! read more

Took the long drive out to try this place out from my neck of the woods. Totally worth it! Went this past Friday at around 6 and just missed the heavy dinner rush; although, it was pretty packed at that time. The ambience was lovely, very cozy but the food was to die for! We started with Risotto balls... I could eat these all day... The sauce on these is phenomenal. We also ordered the ribeye steak dinner and the chicken piccata, Amazing!!! Every last bite was delicious,. The chicken piccata was served with Marscapone Polenta and I couldn't get enough of that either. We ended the night with German chocolate brownie ala mode, so good. To top it all off, delicious stiff drinks and all of it was beyond, reasonably priced for the quality. The service that night was fantastic and they were slammed. We had Sam for our waitress and we met Phil (manager?) who checked on us and was extremely gracious. A must try for sure if you have never been. We may make this a regular date night spot. Can't wait to try more off the Menu! read more

I came in with a good friend and neither of us had more than one bite of our meal. Both were sloppily prepared, greasy and much too salty. And, they tasted awful. The decor was unimaginative and I don't understand how this restaurant got such good reviews. Neither of us would ever go here again and would recommend to our friends that they not go either. read more

Right when I walked in, I had a great feel for the ambiance! Never been to Moxies as I found out it was there sister restaurant. We were immediately seated with a very warm welcome. The place looked very well put together, with a touch of sophistication. The price for food was fair, but the waiters made it that much better! Overall experience, I'd comeback again! read more

There is no "customer service" here and they make customers feel unwelcome. I have been here plenty of times with friends for lunch or HH (wait there is no HH pricing) due to the fact it is the only bar/restaurant in the shopping center so selection is limited, and every experience has been poor. The service is slow even though the place is never busy or packed and the GIRL servers/bartenders are rude. It takes forever to get a menu or drink and if you happen to ask for something extra like a water or more dressing they look at you like you are inconveniencing them. We have always left them a 20% tip even though the service was more equivalent to 5%. I will not be returning to this establishment. M3 fails to hire employees with the right traits for customer-facing work. I will not support a business that treats customers so poorly. read more

Wasn't my plan to go here, but another restaurant that was closing told me to give them a try. I was impressed they offered the suggestion. Bartender recommended the salmon tacos and they were outstanding! Service from the kitchen was a bit slow, but in fairness it was a bit late (almost 9:00pm). Delicious food & friendly service. Lots of other enticing options on the menu. I'll definitely be back! read more

This place is close to my house and my boyfriend and I came here to avoid cooking on a Sunday night. We waited an acceptable amount of time before the waitress came to take our order. I ordered the buffalo chicken fingers with a side of fries ($14). He ordered the black bean nachos with flank steak ($14). Felt like it took a while for our food to come out, especially for what it was. The portion of the chicken fingers and fries was sad. There was 5 small fingers (really 4 1/2 because that fifth one was tiny) and a small bowl of fries. I was kind of disappointed on the portion given the price point, but at least they tasted good. The nachos were a good portion for a grown man, but there were hardly any black beans! The cheese wasn't melted all the way and the steak was cold upon arrival. Probably won't be ordering those again... Overall, this place is good but some meals are better than others. read more

If you enjoy rude waitress, slow service, and high prices this is the place for you. We have gone there a few times and the bar waitress treats us like "the unwashed". Very unpleasant experience. Plus, check you credit card bill as they added a $25 tip to the card after we left. Shame - shame. read more

I was excited to see that they added woodfired chicken wings, one of my personal favorite dishes anywhere and had to order them and these is absolutely did not disappoint and I'll be back for them again and again. Sometimes it's tough to get a really good crispy chicken wing out of a woodfired oven but this team nailed it in there, buffalo Parmesan sauce was divine, especially with a little bit of the house made ranch. The pizzas were also good, but I didn't like that. They served them in paper takeout boxes because even the short trip from the cutting table to us in that box steamed the pizza and made it super floppy. Toppings were sliding right off the pepperoni pizza we had and it just wasn't the best pizza experience Of the white pizza we tried with spinach and roasted garlic was awesome. I don't wanna held up a little better maybe because it didn't have sauce and the roasted garlic was perfect. Staff is super sweet and accommodating menu is diverse and interesting in and the vibes of West Street market are great for a date or a group so put this one on your list.

We were tempted not to eat it as the presentation was exceptional but we had to try it. The honey mustard dressing and succulent vegetables exploded in our mouths. Definitely worth trying again and again. The steak was also cooked to perfection!!! Rare is how steak should be eaten and the chef cooked it to the T. Every bite tasted like butter melting in our mouths.

We also got the beignets, which came with a nice bourbon sauce, but sadly a few of them weren't cooked all the way through. The interior was very bright (lots of windows) and clean, and the service team behind the counter was very pleasant. Also, I thought the price was fantastic for the special--like $14.95-for a very satisfying and overall well-made meal. We'll be back to try other stuff on the menu.

Unfortunately tonight's experience was less than par at best. The first strike was when I called last week to make a reservation. I was asked by the staff member how many in the party. When I mentioned there would be 3 of us, I was told that they dont take reservations for small parties. After spending 15 yrs in the business, 5 as a manager I completely understood. Upon arrival we had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table. Again, not a problem. I expected that. After all it is Valentine's Day. While waiting a few more groups of patrons came in the door. These parties of 2 had reservations. My first thought, strike 2. So we finally make it to the table in the allotted 10 minutes. Two minutes in, water on the table from the busser. And now the fun begins. Nine minutes and fifty three seconds later we were finally greeted by our server. Yes, 9:53...reminder, I spent 15 yrs in the business. No introduction, just a question of what we wanted to drink and if we were ready to order. No mention of specials or social conversation. Let me add, she did have other tables..in which she was clearly cheerful, talkative and even sitting down at one of her tables. It was clear she had her regulars, which we were not. Nor, after tonight will be. After ordering our selections, we recieved our drinks, and 1 of 2 appetizers. Approximately 15-20 minutes later our entrees, but still no second appetizer. That is when I became that person and asked if I can get my salad first. We then did not see our server until we had completed our meals (except in passing, on her way to visit her friends tables) and it was time for dessert in which we declined. It was not until the bill arrived that we knew our servers name was Charlotte. Btw, they removed my glass of wine and appetizer from the bill Thank you M3 for the great food. The ribeye steak dinner was delicious. The service was 5 stars and the price was reasonable. I liked the atmosphere and they had the games on at the bar so I could keep my eyes on those as well. The service was quick and made sure I was taken care of each time they came around. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare along with the potatoes the dinner was great and I'm looking forward to going back. I've been to the other locations before and am very glad they opened this location since its so easy to get to and centrally located, for me at least. There isn't really a sign on the street but its tucked away in the building on the corner of lakeside and McCarran. Another cool thing was the old fashioned lightbulbs they have hanging in all the booths - they sort of look like the original light bulbs from Thomas Edison. Very cool read more

I'm so glad I finally discovered M3 on McCarran Boulevard. I've been in Reno my whole life and somehow missed this gem until now. The restaurant is fantastic: quiet, spotless, well managed, and well maintained. The staff was outstanding. They took the time to walk me through the menu, offered suggestions from their other Moxie locations, and even discussed potential opportunities to host events here. Every interaction felt genuine and helpful. I couldn't be more pleased, and now that I've found them, I can promise they'll be seeing a lot more of me. read more
