Great food friendly service! Healthy and delicious, great deals if you join the mailing list, BOGOs aplenty.

    Baja Fish Tacos

Just enjoyed the Baja Fish Tacos here; if you're having a cheat day these are the bomb!!! All of the fish is high quality (salmon on "Mediterranean" salad has a great dressing, and the fried fish sandwich are my other two favorites; I also recommend the seared tuna is plentiful and seared perfectly (very little). Crystal, who took my order and delivered my food outside, was so professional and friendly, I had to ask her name and post a review... I observed an older gentlemen speak with her about his food after he was finished, I believe he was used to a different fish with his order; Crystal apologized and let him know that next time he can request the other fish, whatever he wants, it's not a problem, and then she thanked him for letting her know. Management and owner, please take note of this exceptional employee, you have a manager in the making and this kind of customer service is rare to come by these days!

We walked in at 7 pm and half of the tables had the chairs up and kitchen looked like they were ready to go home, my fish and chips horrible I know what happened, they probably ran out of batter and just made a quick batch for it! Chicken skewers, dry, no lemon oregano, hummus no tahini or olive oil?? And I'm not gonna comment on the girl that was there!!!

We like the fish tacos, chicken & shrimp Skewers plus the fish sticks. The clam chowder is very good as well.

Food was ok....burger loaded up with all the trimmings was good but nothing to write home about ...the feta cheese fries were nicely seasoned sprinkled generously with feta cheese...my favorite...the fish taco was fresh with a crispy crunch in every bite ...great texture ..topped with a nice slaw...the poke bowl was swerved with chips ..high quality ahi tuna for the win...great location with back parking for easy access.

It's supposed to a fish sandwich but there's not much fish

I used to love this place back when it was called Malibu Fish grill but unfortunately it's gone downhill. I suppose it's telling that there was no one eating there the past few times we went in. The fish sandwich used to truly be the best around and have a nice fat chunk of crisp, lightly battered fish but the sandwich I had this last time was all bread with very little fish. Salads are still fresh but much smaller than before as well. They used to be so big you could barely finish them. The menu selection is good, the staff is friendly, and the ingredients are still consistently good quality so we will give it another try-- hopefully this was just an off night.

Good taco Tuesday deals. Love the chicken skewers for low carb days too. Grilled fish tacos hit the spot. Wish they had salsa.

It's unexpectedly large for a place by the shore, and I was thrilled because even though I checked Yelp and Google, I couldn't find much info. They're open super early and stay open late, and it's just such a gem especially since that area tends to shift toward restaurants or other businesses. This neighborhood really needed a good grocery store, and they have everything: fresh meat, drinks, snacks, fruits just like a full local grocery. The staff was really nice and laid-back, though the only downside is that parking is super limited and intersection it's tough to get in and out since it's near a small with a red light. Still, I'm really glad it's there, and I want to give a big shout-out to the local folks to support this place. The prices are really reasonable, and we need to keep these local businesses thriving. they're the heart of the community. I gave them five stars. I just hope they can clean it up a bit inside, maybe freshen up the shelves or ceiling. But overall, I'm so happy it's here, and we need more of these places in our city.

The pastrami was stacked, perfectly seasoned, and super tender. The bread was toasted just right, the sauerkraut had great balance, and everything came together exactly how a classic Reuben should. You can tell they care about quality here--fresh ingredients, generous portions, and consistent flavor in every bite. The vibe is laid-back, service is friendly, and it's the kind of local spot you end up craving again a few days later. If you're in Hermosa Beach and looking for a great sandwich, especially a Reuben with pastrami, The Green Store is a must. I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu.

She went above and beyond in every possible way, helping us think through menu recommendations, accommodating an early pickup so everything would be ready for our girl's special day, and even proactively adding thoughtful presentation touches that we didn't ask for but truly made the day feel extra special. As first time parents planning our first birthday, that meant everything :) And the food is unreal. Always fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. A great assortment of sandwiches and sides made with fresh bread, top-quality meat and veggies (*Side note: They have the best Italian sub in the South Bay. No contest.) If you're considering this place for catering or just grabbing a sandwich on the way to the beach, don't hesitate. A true South Bay gem with outstanding food, great people, and thoughtful service every time.

My son suggested we stop at Ghost Sando Shop before I dropped him and his fiancée off. Great idea. The guy at the counter was friendly and welcoming, and even delivered our sandwiches to us as we sat outside at one of the shaded tables - it was pleasant if you need a spot to eat versus taking it to go. One thing I really like on a sando is shredduce. It just makes a sandwich taste better. Not sure why. Ghost got it right. It wasn't busy shortly after opening on a Sunday, which was nice. It was delicious and the Dutch crunch bread was a good amount of crunch without being too hard that would rip open the roof of your mouth. I love the vegetable mix with it that included roasted peppers, pepperoncini but the Melrose spread was a tad bit much where it just oozed off the sandwich paper wrap. The sauce was good but a tad bit excessive. The staff was very nice but the food took longer than expected. Maybe that's because of them making it fresh but it seemed a tad bit longer than I expected for a non busy time I went (11am). Atmosphere is just your "fast" casual with outdoor seating which be nice when it doesn't become too cold or hot weather wise.

They consistently forget major components like condiments or vegetables that are clearly listed in the sandwich description. Lately I've had to remind them or ask for extras just to get what is supposed to come standard. Today it happened again. I asked for oil and vinegar and received a dry, inedible sandwich. When I called to explain that this has happened multiple times, the person I spoke with essentially called me a liar, insisting it had been added, despite the fact that there was no oil on any of the wrappers. When I asked how they planned to make it right, especially given the astronomical prices they charge for sandwiches, I was told they might give me extra oil and vinegar next time and possibly a bag of chips. Nice customer service. Great idea to throw digs at loyal customers. Super smart. The new ownership the past few years is disappointing. It's unfortunate because we live just a few blocks away and come here often. When I order something, I expect to receive what I ordered and I certainly do not expect to be talked down to when there is a mistake on the deli's part.
