    2-3 person set meal
    Lisa D.

We tried Mama Xita over the weekend and had a wonderful time. Validated parking is available at the Bellevue Connection Tower parking garage, which makes it very convenient. The restaurant is upscale, polished and modern, making it perfect or a celebration or elevated night out. We arrived outside of lunch hours and the restaurant were still quiet busy, I'd recommend planning ahead of time. We didn't have to wait for long and were seated shortly after arriving. Our server Nika was so lovely, she explained the entire menu to us, as well as her recommendation for different items on the menu. We went with her recommendation and got a 2-3 person set meal with original angus brisket and seaweed salad, and an order of thin-sliced beef tongue, for our group of 3. This was the right amount of meats as we were full and satisfied after. All the meat cuts in the set, as well as the beef tongue were super delicious. My personal favorite was the ginseng king angus prime steak, it was so juicy and tender. The set came with 6 side dishes with unlimited refills, the side dishes were very tasty! I like that they served a variety of Chinese and Korean sauces and spices to choose from, they all go very well with the meats. Throughout the meal, our server Nika was very attentive and periodically checked on us to see if she can bring us anything from additional scissors, to more side dishes, water and napkin. In some restaurants it might be hard to flag a server, but it is not the case at all here, and it made our experience so much more enjoyable. I'll definitely come back soon.

This place is new I think! and I was very excited to try it this weekend. The wait was ~1.5 hours so I think a little long for what I prefer. The flavor of the meats were soooo good. I honestly think it was one of the better kbbq places I've been. And the sides were delicious! I liked ALL of them, and especially the cucumber/cabbage and tofu ones. I think our server (Amar) really made our evening though-- we ordered three meats and the veggie basket, and one of the meats was fatty enough that things started going on fire, and he came to rescue us. After that, he helped explain how to cook the remaining meats, gave us quick refills on banchan, explained the membership program (didn't get it this time, but if I'm coming back more frequently, maybe I will). Honestly if I think about this too much longer, I might get the membership just to remind myself to come back hahaha. I think one of the detractors of the location is the wait time, which I think is slightly exacerbated by the fact that they only seem to have 4+ sized seating? I would consider coming by alone (and even this time I went with one other person), but the wait would be the same regardless of party size, which isn't great for someone like me :(

Amazing!!! We came during the soft opening and had the best experience. Jen was our server and she was so attentive and gave us great recommendations. The food was so flavorful! We came with three of us and ordered their 3-4 person meal. Which was the perfect amount for us! The ambiance inside looks so modern and nice. I will def be back again and can't wait!

Came during soft opening. Weekday around 5:30pm and we had to wait about 45 min for a party of 5. We got the set meal + seafood pancake, which was plenty for our group. But if you have some big-eaters you'd probably want to order more. The set came with about 8-9 different cuts of meat. The cuts varied in quality and the a5 definitely did not taste like a5. But overall the meats were pretty good. As a note, the servers do not cook the meat for you here. At this price point for kbbq I feel like they should. The banchan was pretty slow to be refilled (on the kitchen side we were told) and we didn't get kimchi at all until halfway through our meal. I do recognize it was soft opening and Im sure they're still working out their kinks. I would want to come back when they have their grand opening.

Really liked the food Korean Chinese Ambiance is higher end.. it's in the old rock bottom so there is only so much you can do I think they just soft launched so the servers haven't quite figured it out yet. They will. Go back in a couple months

Will lead with the fact that like many Chubby Club chains, they do ask for reviews at the end and have an internal competition about best service among staff. That's why you'll notice a lot of reviews for a newer place plus tons of names being dropped. No reservations now during their opening. Join the waitlist in person and chill at Don't Yell At Me for drinks or walk around Bellevue. That being said, huge 5* shoutout to Micah (Moo) for his attentive and enthusiastic service. I was shocked by Mama Xita because I genuinely had low expectations, but the quality of food and service exceeded expectations. Our party of 5 may not have all left a review, so please count this as a collective, unanimous opinion for Micah. Have to knock down a star because their online menu is misleading and has changed a bit. Prices are a bit higher as we saw $174 in person, $168 online for the 4-5 Group Meal and roughly $20 off with membership. Transparency wise, I am a member of the paid Chubby Club membership which gives a discount on various items, so for 5 people we paid around $45-$50 each after tax and tip. Honestly, not too bad of a price but expect maybe $5-$10 more per person without a membership. Regarding the 4-5 Group Set, contrary to their online menu, there was no soft tofu soup. Instead, they offered seaweed soup (no ability to choose). There was also no lettuce wrap set but instead, there were greens provided with various meats. These greens were on the dryer end, not the typical lettuce wrap (ssam) for BBQ. All the meats are delicious and cook very fast on their terrific grills. Most of them are on the sweeter end with some marination, but nothing too overwhelming. For dessert, we were really excited to get some bingsu but looks like that's also off the menu. They have thick toast and some ice cream available. Hopefully they add it in the future, as it was shown before (and perhaps exists at other locations? Unsure).

I was recommended this place by a family member, and I brought my mother here for Mother's Day, and she absolutely loved it! Vince made the experience amazing. He was incredibly welcoming, kind, and took the time to explain everything to us. The food was delicious and came out quickly, the prices were reasonable, and the ambiance felt clean, warm, and inviting. Overall, it was such a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to come back again! She got to pick a rose upon walking in :)

Amazing experience. Decor, service from Diego- all great from start to finish. I sometimes am a bit wary about chubby cattle chains given they can focus more on quantity over quality, but this place was excellent value with great quality meats. The set was portioned perfectly, and the banchans were great. I loved their thick cut beef tongue as well. Will definitely be back!

We ordered the 4-5 group meal set to try different types of meat. This is definitely enough for 4 people unless you came in super hungry. The meat quality was amazing, and the side dishes were decent. The presentation of the food was great as well. Shout-out to our waiter, Brayden, for being knowledgeable and attentive. The restaurant's ambiance is not overly fancy, but it's a great place to take your out-of-town guests or for celebrations.

Micha is our server. He is good. Good intro, good service, though the WAIT here is long . 1 hour on business day

Food was 10/10, Micah 100/10 *throws confetti and other stuff wahoooo yayayayayayayayayayy*

Micah is a very good server, the food is also very delicious. Highly recommended! The food quality is good and the price is fair. Will come back for sure

Came during Mama Xita's soft opening with a group of friends and left impressed! First, a huge shoutout to our server, Vicky. She was fantastic throughout the entire meal--attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Since it was our first visit, she took the time to explain the dishes and make recommendations. She even rushed over to help us grill our meat when she noticed we were getting a little too ambitious and potentially about to burn ourselves. That level of attentiveness really stood out and made the experience even more enjoyable. For food, we ordered the 2-3 person combo, and the meats were excellent. The quality was immediately noticeable--tender, flavorful, well-marinated, and cooked beautifully on the grill. If you're coming here for the meat, I don't think you'll be disappointed. One unexpected bonus: we were able to order bubble tea from Don't Yell At Me and have it delivered directly to our table. As someone who loves their drinks, that was a huge win and made the experience even better. The food was such a hit that a couple of my friends signed up for a Chubby Club membership before we even left the restaurant. That's probably the best endorsement I can give. I've also visited other Chubby Group restaurants in Las Vegas and have eaten at Wagyu Factory in Shoreline, and I can honestly say I haven't had a disappointing meal yet. It's great to see that Mama Xita continues that tradition of quality food and service. One thing I was curious about is whether there is any connection between Mama Xita and the former restaurant that occupied the space, Itadaki. I also know the owners are involved with the Don't Yell At Me franchise, which might explain how they are able to coordinate bubble tea delivery directly to restaurant tables without any apparent food-safety concerns. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that many of the side dishes leaned sweeter than I personally prefer. The kimchi, pickled shredded radish, and mashed potatoes all had a noticeable sweetness to them, and even the cold noodles--which we ordered as a separate dish rather than receiving as a side--were sweeter than I expected. I realize this may be intentional and some diners may enjoy it, but I found myself wishing for a little more balance and tanginess in those dishes. The table was also a bit small for the amount of food we ordered, so things felt a little crowded once everything arrived. That said, the meats were definitely the star of the show and were outstanding across the board. A word of advice: come early and get your name on the waitlist. We experienced about a 2-hour wait during soft opening, but honestly it wasn't too bad. We spent the time hanging out at Bellevue Square and grabbing a drink nearby before coming back. Overall, a very enjoyable meal with excellent service, quality meats, and a fun atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back and seeing how they continue to evolve after their grand opening.

5 stars SOLELY for the Kalbi Tang…read more The quality of the meat is absolutely bomb. I love pho, but Kalbi Tang is a Astro up in general and here at Daeho is another step up Kalbi Tang primarily because of the meat flavor and thickness. Not a big fan of the glass noodles and still giving the dish 5 stars. The quantity of meat is also solid. This will fill you up no doubt, it better be for near $30. The rest of the food here for me is meh. Too much foo foo. The banchan is average. Service might be spotty, you have to wave people down but they are always friendly. After ordering, the food comes generally fast. Kalbi Tang!!!

The first time I visited, the quality of the meat cuts didn't impress me, and the soups lacked depth of flavor. I'm not talking about needing more salt--the broth itself just tasted flat. When you're paying close to $30 for a bowl of soup, I think it's reasonable to expect a higher level of quality and care to ingredients. The second visit was a mixed experience. To be fair, I was in the wrong. There is a clearly posted policy stating that your entire party must be present before being seated. My group was about seven minutes away, and since I had already checked in on Yelp and there were only two parties ahead of me with no one physically waiting, I asked if I could be seated and order while I waited. I had already been standing inside for about 10 minutes. I was told that although tables were available, seating me ahead of the other parties on the waitlist would be unfair. I understood the reasoning, but she had also asked prior for my order. Her explanation left me confused so i sheepishly said I understood the policy. She already seemed upset by the time i had gotten there. Sometimes we have off days i get that. This place is clearly hit or miss, I've got friends who absolutely swear by it. For me, though, it wasn't anything special and didn't justify the price. If you're looking for Korean food in the area, I've had better experiences with higher-quality dishes elsewhere, especially in Lynnwood.

I was worried about the price because of its location in downtown Bellevue, but at ~50 a person and for the quality and quantity I received it is far worth. I never had to wait very long to get sat, and the entrance is a little hard to find. It's located upstairs a separate retail area. The ambiance is only decent, but it's not crazy loud. The service is prompt, but most of the ordering is done on the iPad anyway. You can order whatever you want, including rice, lettuce, etc. You also get one wagyu per person. The pork jowls and marinated kalbi are my favorite. If you like squid I highly recommend getting that too. The banchan side dishes are copious and refillable. Our biggest qualm is that grill could be hotter. Perhaps it is a means of controlling your pacing, but we want the meat NOW! Haha They do charge extra if you don't finish your food, but that's never happened to us.

For $40+, the meat quality wasn't bad, but the slices were super thin (looked like meat for hotpot) and cooked way too fast. I'd leave the meat on the grill for maybe 15 seconds and it would already start getting charred. That part could honestly be user error on my end, so I'd still be willing to give this place another try. I will say their banchan was really good and probably one of the highlights of the meal. Overall, I just left feeling a little disappointed, especially for the price. If you do decide to come here for AYCE, I'd probably recommend going for one of the higher tiers to get a better experience.

Bon is located in the same plaza as H-Mart and so they have a shared parking lot or you could walk over from Redmond Town Center which is just a block away. The inside is surprisingly large with at least twenty tables, which is bigger than most Korean restaurants that I've seen on the Eastside. At 11:45am on a Saturday, my group of three had no problem getting a table. Their menu is extensive and has all the Korean food classics including seafood pancake, soondubu (stone pot tofu soup), galbi jjim (beef stew), Toppokki, bibimbap, and cold noodles (spicy and non-spicy versions). Their entrees are around $20 each, but some larger hot pot dishes (meant for 2-3 people) can be up to $70. I ordered the BULGOGI BIBIMBAP (~$24). Unfortunately they don't serve stone pot Bibimbap here, but the portions are large and beautifully presented. My dish came with plenty of fresh vegetables- pickled carrots and cucumbers, sesame bean sprouts, daikon kimchi, lettuce, and marinated black mushrooms (which I've never had in Bibimbap before but was soooo good) on top a bed of fluffy white rice! The egg was cooked perfectly over easy and the meat was marinated well too- I do wish the dish came with more meat though. They give you your typical sweet and spicy gochujang red sauce on the side as well as white vinegar and mustard sauce for added flavor. Service was fantastic and you get complimentary hot tea and ban chan (which are refillable). The ban chan included cucumber kimchi, daikon kimchi, sesame bean sprouts, kimchi, fish cake, and sesame choy. All employees were very friendly and made you feel at home. The inside is clean, but the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is that they have an Okay health rating and not a Good or Excellent health rating. I didn't look up the exact violations, but it would be great to see an improvement in score. Overall: 4/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 3/5 for atmosphere

For a group of four adults with a normal hungry, we ordered a small beef set and fried chicken, which was plenty. The banchan was fantastic, especially the Myungranjut. The meat quality was outstanding for a K-BBQ place, and the service was superb. Our server proactively replaced the grill grate to make sure no burnt bits remained! The vibe is casual enough but can be also formal enough for a date. Needless to say, I left a very generous tip.

Steamed eggs came out looking amazing (haven't seen it like this before) but was on the dry side; to each their own but we like it more brothy like Chicken wings were ok not great... the dish I didn't expect much from was the fried rice but it turned out to be the best dish!! Not because it's just "better than the other dishes" but it was truly amazing, it just had a great taste to it! Soup was yummy too and came with clear noodles Proportions are to the smaller size making prices a bit high but banchans were refilled quickly. Recommend because their food had its own special taste/ dishes that you will remeber it by. Was a fun place to eat and staff was friendly!

Although we didn't order any dishes that made use of the advanced tabletop, I still think it's so cool! Despite the tables also having a digital kiosk, I appreciated how they still handed us actual menus and manually took our order, both of which are becoming less common these days. Our group started with some hot tea and ordered three dishes which was the perfect amount to share. We loved each item and I enjoyed tasting the various banchan side dishes (included with most main menu items): broccoli, traditional kimchi, omelet, potato, salad and kimchi cucumbers. I can be picky about kimchi, but this one had an ideal balance between tartness, spice, slight sweetness and umami. Their kimchi cucumbers were also a hit as they were refreshing with a tantalizing heat. + SEAFOOD PANCAKE ($25): My first time having a seafood pancake and it won't be my last! It was hot right off the pan with a crispy golden exterior. The seafood included baby shrimp, baby octopus and calamari. It seemed like the portion of seafood was reasonable since I had some in almost every bite, however I don't recall seeing much shrimp... mostly calamari and octopus. They added a lot of green onion, which I personally liked as it gave the pancake an element of freshness. This came with a side of soy dipping sauce, but I enjoyed it as is. The portion size was generous for the three of us. + KIMCHI BEEF TOFU SOUP ($22): This soup was basically a comforting hug in a stone pot. It arrived at our table, still bubbling, with a small bowl of rice. While there wasn't a ton of beef in the soup, the pieces were lean and tender and there was enough to split between the three of us. I loved the smooth silky tofu, and the kimchi gave the soup a little tang. Adding a scoop of rice into my personal bowl and pouring the soup on top made for perfect bites as the grains absorbed the broth. We requested a medium spice level which was just right for me. + HOT POT BI-BIM-BAP w/ CHICKEN ($25): You can't go wrong with this dish! Carrots, radish, zucchini, bean sprouts, spinach and a raw egg topped the bed of rice along with our protein choice of chicken. We stirred in the egg immediately and I enjoyed all the fresh vegetables in the bowl. The chicken was delicious as well and seemed to have a slightly sweet marinade. The best part is the little bites of rice that crisped up against the side of the bowl, adding some toasty notes and texture. We forgot to drizzle on some of the red chili sauce provided with the dish, so I'll need to do that next time! The three of us had a terrific dinner here and the service is so kind. We were checked on three times, which surpassed my expectations. We came for an early dinner on Sunday, so it was relatively quiet, even shortly after 6:00P. Even if the restaurant was full, the tables are spaced comfortably apart and I noticed they even had a separate section that is walled off for a larger group. Parking is also easy, running right alongside the neighboring walking trail. Needless to say, I'll be back!
