French pastries, some of the best I've tasted!

Cute and cozy spot, fast service and delicious pastries & drinks. Ideal for a quick bite or 2-person meeting.

This Maman cafe is beautiful and spacious. The interior was really nice and a perfect stop for my family to grab a bite and coffee. A lot of different food options ranging from breakfast to hearty sandwiches. The coffee itself didn't taste that great (we ordered a black coffee), but the food was good, and it has a cute ambiance. Service is great too, despite not taking your order at the table, since the staff is constantly on the floor and is easy to flag and take questions.

Visiting friends last weekend in New York and stopped by Maman for a quick pastry and coffee break to get out of the cold. There are plenty of pastries and other items to eat, either to go or have there. I had the hazelnut latte which is the seasonal latte. It was good, a rich nutty flavor that wasn't too sweet. I also got the blood orange and cranberry croissant which was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. While there are a lot of seat, there never seems to be enough space to sit so you have to snag a seat when you can.

I stopped into Maman after having the chocolate pistachio croissant from petit maman- and i knew i wanted that delectable pastry again! On Thursday morning, Maman had quite the line and crowd around 10, but the line moved fast and my cashier was extremely pleasant. I ordered the omelette, another chocolate pistachio croissant, and the honey butter latte. Service was fast and everything was amazing! I was stuffed when i left and couldn't finish the omelette. That croissant is so good, i popped back in line to order another to go for my husband. Very happy to have discovered Maman and will be back!

This place surpassed my expectations. Perfect place to go for a casual lunch/coffee date with a friend. So vibey in there and popping - ran into two friends randomly so clearly this was the place to be & it was so large with plenty of seating. Hazelnut latte had some crunchy hazelnut flavor and the estee's bacon egg & cheese was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I had in a long time- perfect for lighter appetites. My friend loved his breakfast sandwich as well. Ordering/service was seamless.

The first time I tried anything from Maman was at the location near Rockefeller Center. Their chocolate chip cookie was sooo tasty. But the location was super crowded. This new location here in Flatiron is beautiful. They took the space that once housed City Bakery and transformed it to a nice sit down space with a nice garden and relaxing vibe. I always get the matcha latte (see photo). I've had breakfast there as well. The baked goods are definitely what they're known for, but the savory options are quite tasty as well. Staff is always pleasant. This is a good location for a quiet meet-up and a quick afternoon pick me up.

I blinked and there were tons of mamans everywhere! My understanding is this is the flagship location. It feels like you're paying for the ambiance here. It's a beautiful space with tables so close to together that people were making comments about it. They seemed short-staffed around lunch time on a Saturday -- we didn't get our iced tea and cold brew until *after* our lackluster food came out. The potatoes, which were in the breakfast bowl, were completely dry and so disappointing.

I loved this maman. It's a huge space and well decorated for the holidays. Very comfortable environment for just a nice relaxing afternoon.

Really loved Maman! Their coffee is on the sweeter side, which is exactly how I like it. If you're not into sweet coffee, I'd recommend skipping the flavored options since the regular coffee might be plenty sweet for you on its own. We also got a Nutella brownie to split and it was unreal. The whole place is decorated super cute and has such a cozy vibe, perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up. Bonus points if you can snag an outdoor seat on a nice fall day!

My friends and I decided to stop by here for breakfast since it was about a 5-minute walk from our hotel. When we got there, it was already bustling with people; there was plenty of seating, and Maman had a classy French interior/decor. I got the Farmhouse Granola Parfait, which consisted of yogurt, granola, flower bits, and a fruit compote, which was surprisingly tasty and not too sweet (though it does say seasonal; it could be different next time). Because I'm illiterate, I looked at the menu and thought my yogurt bowl would come with almond butter -- however, it was just granola INFUSED with almond butter, so I was disappointed, to say the least. It's something worth mentioning just in case someone misreads it like me. :') The granola did have a subtle saltiness that paired well with the fruit compote, which I found enjoyable! My bowl wasn't bad, and it was a reasonable portion, but for $10, I would have expected more than 3 toppings because this seems like something I could have easily made myself (I really wanted that almond butter topping). Likewise, my friends got their pastries, and all agreed they ordered a bit on the dry, crumbly side. Overall, Maman is just fine, but it's comparable to every other coffee shop in the city, so there's not much to write home about.

Always love coming to any of the locations. Great cafe drinks and yummy pastries. The floral decor is so charming ,stepping out of city scenery for a bit is quite calming. Not exactly table service. Order at the counter and pickup but if you need anything the staff will gladly bring it to you - utensils, extra plates etc. There's a no laptop rule, so don't plan on perching here as a work center. Just sit enjoy good cafe treats and coffee. They also have sandwiches, salads , breakfast bowls, omelets , and a wide range of coffee/ cafe drinks and juices. Some locations are bigger than others so keep that in mind if you're planning on bringing a group.

Enjoyed breakfast here! I arrived on a Sunday at around 10 so there was about a 30 min wait. Service was fast and efficient. My husband and I both enjoyed our meals. It did get pretty crowded with a long line for pastries so come early.

This location was near my hair appointment this past weekend & so of course had to stop in for a refreshing drink & snack. I asked the cashier which seasonal drink she recommended and she said her favorite was the papaya matcha lemonade with coconut lime whipped cream--now I find matcha drinks can be hit or miss but I trusted her and glad I did! Delicious! I ate the cheddar scallion scone with it, which was pretty good, and took the S'mores and Kitchen Sink cookies to go, which I enjoyed at home later. The ambiance was very floral and elegant (of course French chic for a place called Maman!) and it was nice & cool inside.
