Food was good and the staff were very nice. The inside is a more standard diner with a dated interior and could use a refresh, but everything I ordered came out perfect and tasted good. Is it super glamorous inside - no - but would I go back because of the food and service - yes - and that's what matters for a good diner.

Decent but not over the top special. Conveniently located near the water (Atlantic Ocean) with a dock storing privately owned boats, this diner hits the spot on a number different levels. It is clean, spacious, and conservative in its list of food options. Doesn't take long something for everyone. My rating stems from a lack of high-quality food that used to be served here. I ordered the vegetarian panini that came with roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, and other vegetables. It was grilled well and served with sweet potato fries. We did not feel rushed to exit the restaurant as a big group and did pay Scarsdale prices for a meal. Overall dependable diner with places to walk around after completing your meal. Expensive with a conservative menu but generally good and decent!

Went to two diners with a 1/2 hour wait before calling here, where they promised to save our party of 7 a table. Which they did. Food was delicious and the service impeccable. Everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome. Next time, we will come here first.

We stopped here seeing the great reviews on Trip Advisor. It's just a few minutes off the highway and was exactly what we had hoped for on a long day! The turkey club was classic diner fare with a generous portion of fries and Cole slaw. The kids had pancakes and chicken tenders and fries off the children's menu and there were leftovers which is unusual for our kids! The fries are beefy! The service was quick and very welcoming. I'm a pizza snob but I'd probably give it a try next time, I saw one while we were there and it looked good. All around great stop if you are traveling through Westchester and need to stop especially if you have kids. The fish tank was a big hit.

What could have been an enjoyable lunch, was more annoying than anything. The food here was decent. We ordered a chicken Panini and chicken and waffles. The Panini was basic, but good. The waffle was tasty, but I was surprised by the chicken tenders on top of it. I figured it would be a piece of fried chicken, and not nuggets, like chicken and waffles usually is. Anyway... The problem was the waitress. The second we sat down, we were given menus. I hadn't even looked at my menu and the waitress came over and asked if we knew what we wanted. We told her we needed some time. The menu is quite large, and I hadn't eaten here in over 6 years. I was looking at the different categories and she came over another minute later and asked if we were ready. At this point, we were getting annoyed. It's not like there were people waiting for seats. Nobody was waiting!!! She was clearly in a rush and wanted to take our order. I don't like feeling rushed when I'm at any restaurant including a diner. I had been here less than five minutes and had been asked twice what I wanted??? When people have their noses buried in a menu, they aren't ready! This continued on the entire meal. She couldn't wait to clear the table, bring the check, boxes etc. We felt very unwelcome, and were both annoyed. Her attitude was "get them in, get them out." And there was nobody waiting for a table!!!! I'm not sure I'll be back. Eating out should be an enjoyable experience, not the case here.

While the breakfasts are good here: old fashioned French toast and egg white omelette with a side of bacon, The clam chowder had bad clams. The clams were so old they were hard. Disgusting really. I've read other reviews saying their lunch food is disappointing. When we told the young guy at the counter we were totally ignored Hahahaha How's that for customer service. I'd give them 2 stars but we are living through a pandemic where restaurants are struggling...

This diner has been my go-to for 5+ years. My original favorites that made me come back were the Waffle Fries (add-on) and the honey mustard sauce. The food is good today. However, it is somewhat disappointing that the quality has gone down in the past couple years. While I still love dining in, parts of the floor is almost always closed, which doesn't contribute to the atmosphere positively. Service is okay. Price is also okay for a diner. Portion is big and filling!

I started off with a nice glass of Chardonnay to start off the weekend. We had been to the diner and pizzeria place down the road which we did not enjoy. We immediately returned to Nautilis. I highly recommend this diner to all my friends and families When we go out to dinner, I immediately mentioned to my husband this diner and tell him I want to go here. I gave and give it a five star PLUS rating and review once again. For dessert, we ordered two large pieces of strawberry shortcake. My friend loves the strawberry shortcake, and we brought her one for dessert. She called us this morning to tell us it was the most delicious cake she ever had. This diner outshines all others. In my mind, it is the best diner in all of lower Westchester County. I was so impressed with the service and quality of the food. I called Teddy this morning, the owner ,to express my happiness with the food and the service. The diner has an extensive menu of all liquor and wines, and has an extensive menu of entrées, à la carte items , appetizers, desserts, and breakfast and lunch items. When you've tried all the rest, now try the best. ! Do not pass go direct to the nautilus diner in Mamaroneck, New York. Signed a very happy customer. We were here because we needed some breakfast. we were a party of 5. We were seated right away, at a table. Was given menus. Also our server came right away to greet us, and was pleasant. We started with 5 coffees. Our waiter did a good job refilling the coffees and made sure that they were refilled. For breakfast, I decided on their special of Pumpkin Pancakes. other people in my party ordered omelets, a muffin, and other items. I loved my seasonal pumpkin pancakes! sweet and cooked to perfection! Food was enjoyable! we paid via credit card and left a cash tip. Would recommend this diner to others!

Walking in I was properly greeted and seated immediately. This place looks like a large cafeteria with a lot of windows. The server came over and I requested hot tea with lemon and honey. He came back with all that I asked for except for the main ingredient...The TEA BAG. From that point it just did not feel right, instead of getting up and leaving, I asked for another waiter. Another waiter turned this entire experience around. I ordered a vegetable omelet which came with home fries and toast. I did not like the home fries in the past because they were organic, no fluff, no extra, just straight up cubed potatoes. The changes made this meal well worth the trip. The homes fries have onions and peppers, a big plus for me, so the home fries did not disappoint. The omelet consisted of broccoli, onions, and mushroom. I was offered hot sauce to spruce up the taste and give it a kick. I do believe and always will believe that the server can make or break the experience. I now have BLD on the list of places to go. Good job Lazario for converting this review from a 2 star to a 4.5 star but rounded up to 5 stars. Inspire more, Yelp more!

They have onsite parking . I was greeted upon arrival by the hostess and immediately seated. They have a mixture of booth and tables. The diner looked clean. I saw a waiter bus the table after someone left. They cleaned the tables, chairs, and swept the floor. I find that some places forget to sweep after customers and I hate to step on food so I was glad to see that being done. My server was kind and attentive throughout my visit. I ordered the country skillet with soft scrambled eggs and pancakes. The country skillet is delicious. Crisp home fries, assortment of veggies alongside bite sized pieces of bacon. The eggs were exactly how I like them. Most diners overcook them even when asking for soft scrambled. I would definitely recommend this dish. Unfortunately I didn't like the pancakes. The texture seemed off, almost gritty like and I couldn't get past it. So I took one star off for that. Both dishes were large portions and could be split easily by two people. Overall I would recommend this diner and I plan to come back again.

We had unsweetened iced teas, and the kids' seltzer came in a kid-sized cup. After ordering, we were served cornbread sticks, which were really good and a hit with my son. Elwood also brought crayons and paper for him, which was a thoughtful touch. We started with the gator nuggets and frickles. The gator nuggets were our favorite appetizer. The frickles were good, but the batter was fairly thick, which made the pickle flavor a little subtle. For my entrée, I had the fried chicken with collard greens and mac and cheese. The chicken was nicely crispy and came with four pieces, though it was a little overcooked for my taste. The collard greens were on the sweet side, and the mac and cheese could have used a bit more flavor. The highlight of our visit was the service. Elwood was friendly, attentive, and struck the perfect balance of checking in without being overbearing.
