Ist time here, but not the last. Even before the host warm greeting, i knew i would like this place by the aroma. The 4 of us each had a different entrée, starting with a very tasty appetizer of eggplant. Hot soup and chilled salads were very good. 3 chicken dishes and a lasagna were outstanding. Good food, Good service. Generous portions. The calamari was wonderful, tasty and tender. The salads were generous and well presented. I had their house chicken dish and it was very tasty. If I had a complaint it would be that the chicken was a little over cooked. My brother had their spaghetti and meatballs and he liked it very much. I would come back without hesitation. Let me start this off with I LOVE NANCY'S PIZZA!!!!! My my family has been coming to this location since I was a kid, so for ~20 years. It's my favorite deep dish pizza, hands down, ridiculously delicious. But their service... and their coupons... every time I come here or place an order it makes me more and more determined to find a new pizza joint. They argue and won't honor coupons, making up terms that aren't stated anywhere on it. Every. Single. Time. I'm over it. Get your behind the scenes together Nancy. Just for examples, here are a few: 1. Free delivery coupon-- not applicable, because I ordered a Nancy's pizza, but the coupon was for Melinas. Wtf is the difference?? 2. We bring in a coupon that does not say it's only for take out, but then they claim it isn't applicable for dine in. 3. Mondays they have half price cheese pizza. Their coupon does not state it's only for thin crust. I call and ask, they say deep dish is fine, but when I come in, they say it's only for thin crust and generously give me 30% off instead of the 50% they told me when I ordered. Good thing I had extra cash! Solo incidents aren't a big deal, but this seriously happens every time I order and they're losing a customer that loves their food because of it. read more

I ordered the ribeye steak. I made the $7 mistake of phoning the restaurant instead of ordering online. That's right if you call them they charge you $7 more for the steak. The kicker they forgot the baked potato, I know some say it's just a potato, but honestly that's half the meal. I called and they said they would give me a $6 creditor the missing potato. I asked why does it cost more if I call in my order and they explained the online menu is wrong, I asked if I had ordered it online would you then ask me for $7 more dollars upon pickup, they said no but we aren't going to charge you what we charge the online people. I don't think I'll end up using my $6 credit. I may order a steak online and then when I pick it up ask for my over charge last time to be taken off, if they refuse they can eat it!!! I ordered a pizza tonight online for some reason they never received my order. I spoke to the manager or maybe the owner who apologized and made everything right. We received our pizza it's was hot just like it came out of the oven it was delicious and had plenty of sauce. This is the only place we order food from and will continue to do so. read more

Excellent food. Got it delivered to the hotel saturday. Food came fast and hot. There was a problem with the online order and I called to correct it and the girl who answered the phone was nice and professional. The pizza is one of the best I have had in a long time and the panzerotti tasted like my aunt from italy's homemade panzerotti. Will be trying the rest of the food for future ordering. My only complaint was driver was not that friendly (it was snowing I understand it's crappy out) but Don't be so unfriendly with customers, you are representing the company. Also he put pizza bag down on the floor lifted it, tilted and half the pizza was slid to one side and was squished. Other than that great Food here and the prices are very reasonable. read more

This place used to be great. Now, it's just falling apart. The service is slow beyond words can describe. Oh, and when I came last time, there was water dripping from the ceiling creating a huge puddle on the floor. My family and I will not be returning. They need to step back and see what needs to change or this place is doomed. This restaurant will fail in the near future if this incompetence continues. Went here for a family Christmas party. They were promptly on us to offer us drinks. I don't think my soda made it to half way gone before they refilled it. Very impressive. The foot was fantastic- pizza appetizers, pasta, chicken Parmesan, cream of chicken soup, fresh salad and bread. Homemade cannoli topped it all off. I felt like I needed to be rolled out of there. We had never been to Mangia Napoli before, but other reviews looked promising so we booked a table for six. We met my sister and brother-in-law and their best friends for dinner on a Monday night. They gave us a round table and a room to ourselves which was perfect for catching up. They did not rush us along, but we ordered wine and appetizers to begin. The stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta were fantastic!! Our server made suggestions that were on point for everyone at the table! And of course , succumbed to his dessert suggestions as well . We were looking to eat near Elmhurst University and drove outside of downtown Elmhurst to this local Italian place. Each of our dinners was way above average. The meatballs are some of the best I've tasted in the Chicago area. The eggplant was tender, not bitter and had an excellent flavor. The food is not overly salted or floured. We come here at least once every three months for the Nancy's Pizza. Service is usually decent. Sometimes there's entertainment. A singer, a magician, a guy who does audience participation stuff. It's always a good time. The menu is a little stale, but the food is usually pretty good. I can't complain. This past weekend if you got two entrees you got a free appetizer-yum. The BBQ wings were made fresh to order - quite possibly the best wings I've ever had !! I ordered the special- white fish on a bed of risotto with fresh tomato, caper, onion and olive sauce. This place has really improved since new ownership. Pizza is now our favorite and go-to. We've also been to the dine-in restaurant a few times and it is much preferred to other nearby establishments. We've tried the chicken soup - which was fantastic, the ravioli - which we loved, and their specialty pasta. Compared to when it was Nancy's the dine in experience is much more enjoyable - it is a pleasurable atmosphere and not too loud so we could enjoy the company and easily have conversations. A huge shout out to our waiter last night, Michael, worked very hard to make sure that we were able to enjoy exactly what we wanted with prompt service. This nondescript building is a great spot for seafood, steak, and pasta. I enjoyed the Zuppa de Mer (a seafood special with a lobster tail, big shrimp, calamari, clams, and mussels with linguine in a tasty tomato based broth). It's pricey, but even the serving for 1 was enough to feed 2 or 3 people. My husband LOVED the ribeye vesuvio and the kids liked the spaghetti with meat sauce. New crew in charge over here, been going for twenty plus years, food was always pretty good, service had fallen off over last couple years. This new bunch has got it right! Food was excellent! And by that, I mean everything was homemade and tasted like grammas house on Sunday! Seafood ravioli was an actual dumpling, not some cookie cutter square! Veal Parm cut with a fork, and the Manhattan seafood chowder had chunks of fish! Service was also on point! Never even had to ask for more bread, when basket was empty, more came out! And that doesn't even include the homemade focaccia! 7 of us out for dinner tonight, everything hit, apps, soups and salads, and of course the homemade entrees!
