If you want authentic Italian food than THIS is the place!! Consistently fabulous and always interesting flavors mixed together that are especially delicious. The ambiance is cozy with soft music in the background. Lana the owner couldn't be more friendly and accommodating and in fact makes it a fun dining experience. The desserts are all homemade ( literally) sometimes by her daughter. It's our "go to" place whenever we have out of town guests. NEVER DISAPPOINTS and our friends are always impressed that this restaurant is in Bradley Beach! They also have theme nights sometimes like Disco Night which is a blast. The one thing I can say about this restaurant other than the deliciously amazing food is you will never get bored of their menu or the place.

The food here is excellent in this small restaurant occupying the former spot of Bel(la) Sogno. Owner Lana has taken over this venue about a year now and has certainly made improvements in the food department. She formerly had this restaurant in Brick Township. We shared artichoke hearts In a lemon sauce -excellent. I ordered a pork chop Sicilian with cherry peppers - Very good. We shared the bread pudding- excellent plus possibly the best I've eaten. Staff very friendly, yet somewhat inexperienced. Gender-neutral restrooms. Our personal takes from this visit: Very difficult parking in winter, worse in season Very noisy-to be expected in a small dining room The smallest table ever dined on. The entree dishes hung over the edge, causing possible spillage. One couldn't fit everything on the table at once. My pork chops were very bony and a thin-cut for the price. Kinda pedestrian. 3 and half stars.

Wow - another great Italian restaurant on the Jersey shore. Wanting to try this place for awhile we finally made it yesterday for a delicious Sunday dinner. Bread service very nice including the eggplant tapenade. Our starter was an excellent rendition of clams oreganata made with small little necks. Our mains of chicken milanese with arugula and shrimp scampi over linguini were both delicious as well as generous portions. Sharing a slice of ricotta cheese cake and expresso coffees was a nice finish to a really enjoyable meal. The ambience was very nice in deed with the soft music playing in the background and the service provided by our waitress excellent, additionally the owner was exceptionally nice and attentive. Hard to believe in just a short period of time the Jersey shore has added yet another excellent Italian restaurant. I recommend you put Mangiare Tu on your short list.

    Baked clams

My wife and I asked a friend if she could recommend a good Italian restaurant for the two of us. She told us that she ate at a small place near Belmar that she loved so we thought we'd give it a try. We love to try new restaurants every Saturday We arrived a bit early but we're seated right away by Lana, the owner, very pleasant and very friendly. We ordered the charred Caesar, the baked clams and the artichoke Francaise for our starters All were outrageously good but hands down the best were the baked clams. Best we ever had. We split the citrus chili short rib for our main. It was delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a small, quiet, authentic Italian restaurant that is reasonably priced for the area

This is one of our hands down favorite places for dinner in Bradley beach. Service fantastic. Food omg. Atmosphere just wonderful. And it's a byo. Run don't walk. Make the reservation and be prepared for a fabulous meal.

Excellent service, delicious food. Small dining room, both indoor and outdoor dining. Outdoor dining right up against another Italian restaurant and an Italian bakery, which adds to its charm. Homemade, with high quality ingredients. Don't miss trying Mangiare Tu--we plan to go back each time we are near Bradley Beach.

From the outside, the place looks pretty cool and inviting, with several classic cars parked out front that immediately catch your attention. We were greeted by friendly staff, and the atmosphere inside was very lively. We sat down and ordered our food along with some cocktails. The coconut shrimp was just okay--it tasted like it had been fried a bit too long. The chicken with garlic rice and beans was unfortunately very salty, almost to the point of being hard to eat. Our second dish, the ropa vieja, was again just okay and had a noticeable sweetness to it--possibly from the peppers. The drinks were decent, and the place features a dance floor, giving it more of a nightlife vibe than a traditional sit-down restaurant. While I'm not sure I'd return specifically for the food, I would recommend it if you're looking for Latin flavors, drinks, and a fun nightlife atmosphere.

A Must-Visit NYC Gem: Incredible Music, Food, and Energy! If…read moreyou want the ultimate New York City night out, Prohibition is the place to be! We had an absolute blast from the moment we stepped inside. The whole experience--from the warm welcome at the door to the high-energy live music--was 10/10. The Food Experience: Truly Next Level The food here isn't just "bar snacks"--it's a full-on culinary experience. We tried several dishes and honestly, every single one was a hit: * Grandma's Sunday Sauce: This was the star of the show. It's pure comfort in a bowl and tastes like it's been simmering for days. * The Bacon: You can't go wrong here. It's perfectly prepared, smoky, and dangerously addictive. * The Burrata: So fresh and creamy--the perfect way to start the meal. * Crispy Shrimp: These had the perfect crunch and were packed with flavor. The Vibes & Service The host set the tone right away with a great welcome, and the service throughout the night was seamless. It's rare to find a spot that balances a sophisticated "speakeasy" atmosphere with such friendly, attentive staff. And of course, the music! The live band was electric and kept the energy high all night long. The "Roaring 20s" vibe is so well-done--it feels intimate but exciting at the same time. Final Verdict I would definitely suggest Prohibition to everyone! Whether you're a local or just visiting the city, this is the spot for great food, amazing service, and a vibe you won't find anywhere else. We'll definitely be back for more!

The live band was great, the vibe was lively, and people were actually dancing instead of just sitting around pretending they're "listening." Food was good, service was easygoing, and the best part: zero pressure. They have a minimum spend, but they don't play games with it. Hit the minimum however you want, drinks or food, your choice. Other places love to force both, which is basically a tax on having fun. Not here. Why not 5 stars? The place is a bit dated. Our booth was literally held up with tape and the cushion situation was... let's call it "vintage springs." I heard they're planning a remodel, and if that happens, this becomes an easy 5. Until then, it's a very fun 4 and I'd absolutely come back.

Most of the clubs we saw were more for eating/drinking while listening to music but didn't offer the dancing component. If you want to just listen to the music while enjoying your food/drink then sitting at the bar is free. To sit in the back area where the band and dancing is, there is a $15 cover fee. We didn't order any food and my friend did order some drinks but I'm not much of a drinker so I can't comment on that. We enjoyed the music and watching the regulars dance. A couple regulars were very nice and brought us out onto the dance floor to show us some simple moves! Unfortunately this place is closing at the end of December. It's really sad that it is going away as the regulars' described it as one of the places in the city with a dance floor where you can actually dance to the live jazz/swing music. If you are in the area before they close and want to spend some time away from the busy city definitely stop by here!

The service could definitely be friendlier and more attentive, but I don't want that to take away from the wonderful performers. This experience is on the pricier end, so it's not something I would do often. There was a $40 cover charge per person, plus a 2-drink minimum while you're there, totaling about $80-$100 per person (without any food). From the time we were seated and had a server come to our table, we had less than an hour to order and drink our two drinks. Besides the service and drinks, the jazz show was wonderful and amazing to see. It lasted about an hour, I do wish it was a bit longer for the prices paid and the limited time to drink our cocktails. Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely come again in the future!

I couldn't remember the name so I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and remembered this was the place I have been trying to remember all this time. In our most recent visit to Django, we walked into the beautiful hotel and headed downstairs to the jazz club. It also appears there is also a movie theater downstairs. We checked in for our 1015p reservation for the 1030p show. Apparently the show prior ran over and we were not seated until 11p. The band was a trio, bass, piano and drums. I hate to say that I was disappointed by the band as a whole. I liked each player separately but I didn't like the covers they were doing. I did enjoy the original songs without the singing (the singing didn't feel like jazz). I think we got a matter of 4 songs by the time everything was done. It was just nothing of what I was expecting in a jazz club, especially the club I remembered the first time I visited.

A few of the veggies, though, seemed a little less fresh than expected, like the carrots and cucumbers, which were softer and a bit dry instead of crisp. The pita was also slightly on the dry side.
