My wife and I ate here on 3/10/2026 although they were not very busy, it took awhile to get our food. My wife had the Italian sandwich & tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious but the soup missed the mark. Soup was thick and appeared to be from a can. I had the Cuban sandwich. I've probably had worse but I can't remember when. I love this place! I live right next to where the old Manna used to be located, but I'm not even mad that they moved into this space because it's so cute! Lots of greenery. I got a cream puff (for free thanks to a Yelp check in offer) and their cookie butter latte. Both items were good! The service was great as well, the concept here is a little different in where you select your pastries yourself before checking out at the register, and the staff was helpful in explaining that. Updated review - Visited their new location on Commerce St. It's absolutely beautiful inside. Love the decor and it was super busy. The bread was still great and they also offer a breakfast sandwich and some lunch selections. They also have coffee and we had a latte with sugar-free almond vanilla flavor. The lattes were delicious and the bread was still as great as it was in the old location. My only disappointment is that they don't offer the chocolate chip scone which was my favorite (was told it can be pre-ordered), but can't pick it up on a whim. Also, the ordering process was a bit confusing with two sides to walk in on, but it's early in the re-opening, so I'm sure it will all be figured out as they settle into the new location. read more

First impression was great! It's a beautiful building tucked away in historic Tomball. The aesthetics are *chefs kiss*! They have couches, tables, traditional dining tables, nooks, and a little (decent size) business/meeting room. Whoever designed this place really thought about it all!! Perfect for whatever you want, breakfast/lunch, chill time reading, WFH, or a business meeting. Now...I went "late" a little after noon. So many of the pastries were gone, including their famous cinnamon roll (I will say the nice girl told me someone came in earlier on the day and bought them ALL...yes..ALL OF THEM). So I'll be making my way back for a cinnamon roll for sure. I got a danish, chocolate croissant, peanut butter cookie, and a chocolate chip cookie. Overall tasty. My quick take is this place has great pastries, decent coffee, a peaceful atmosphere, beautiful decor, and good wifi but is not a great working spot depending on volume of the tables around you (not something any venue can control). I appreciate that they had a separate shelf for their gluten free items and had little baggies and medium boxes depending on the size of your haul. My family came in hopes of being able to support a business that was spread the word. We got there and were amazed at how cute it was. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into the appearance of the place. The service unfortunately needs a lot of work! We received cold food and coffee those of us that did receive the things we ordered. We also were brought three orders that weren't ours and watched as their worker was wondering around with orders. The only good thing I can say about this place is that their food is appealing to the eye however I would not ever pay the prices for what you're ordering. Truly hope they will improve. read more

It was my first time visiting this café, and overall it's a really cute place with a great vibe! I loved the iced lattes and the breakfast sandwich both were delicious. It's also a nice spot to study or hang out for a while. However, one thing I noticed while studying was the presence of small flies that looked like fruit flies. At first, I didn't think much of it and just brushed them away, but later when my cousin and I went to grab a pastry, we noticed quite a few of those flies some were even sitting directly on the pastries and inside the display case that had the cinnamon rolls. It was a bit off-putting since there were multiple flies, not just one or two. Hopefully this is something the café can address, because otherwise it's a lovely spot with great drinks and food! read more

When I first came here I would've given it 5 stars. I fell in love with their almond bearclaws that I got at Honor Society (because they warm the food there). But if you come here even just 2-3 times you'll discover how inconsistent this restaurant is. I kept giving them chance after chance to a fault because I understand the difficulties of having young employees. Sometimes the crossiants are buttery, soft and worth purchasing. Sometimes they sell you a crossiant that is a burnt brick. As if they didn't look at it before giving it to you? As if they didn't have to pick it up and put it in a box! Oh, also there is no way to warm the pastries that they make. Therefor if you want a pastry you'll have to take it to go because they didn't work a microwave oven into the budget. If it wasn't for the aesthetic of this place, I do wonder if they would still be bringing in business. I'm afraid this is one of those cases where they had good food and put effort into their business. Just to decide to take a step back before creating a proper systems and training their employees. I've been served cold food here so many times because the employees will just leave your food sitting in the kitchen for 15-20 minutes while chatting with each other. It's sad to see so much wasted potential. If I was the owner I'd fire my entire team and start new. With the exception of the barista. You can at least count on good matcha and coffee! I hate to leave a negative review. I love old town Tomball and always hope for any small business that they are able to turn it around. I'll have to give it another try in a month or so and see if anything has changed. read more

The keto cinnamon roll muffin (which were many small little cubes (bit larger than dice) heavenly baked in a muffin wrapper and topped w/a generous portion of a butter cream swirl on top... sooo good... (and not grainy nor any odd after taste). The blueberry scone was... three words.. to die for!!!! And furthest from dry one could ever imagine. Not what I had expected. The place is gorgeous inside and out and the staff are super friendly and willing to help in any capacity. I found out the that food is not what you go up there for. The coffee is fantastic. The breakfast sandwiches we had were microwaved, which turned my croissant and ham into rubber or shoe leather. The pastries we not fresh, they appeared to be days old and they too were microwaved and turned to rubber. I look into the kitchen and I see several people standing around looking at us a s we are ordering and I thought to myself that this was going to be a real treat. It was such a huge disappointment. It was bad enough that I will not be going back up there any time soon. I really do miss the little corner store with the awesome bread and pastries. read more

We got the gluten-free waffle, gluten-free blueberry scone, cinnamon bun latte, caramel latte, and sausage kolache. It was a little pricey, and the gluten-free waffle was not good. It was dense, with a sour after taste, and the syrup was slimey and not sweet. I understand gluten-free baked goods can be hard to make, but I drove here over 30 minutes due to the hype, and it just didn't live up to it. My boyfriend liked the sausage in his kolache but said that overall, the flavor of the bread fell flat, and it was a little small for the size. I didn't write this to harm this establishment whatsoever because I love that they offered more than one gf item, but it's for them to learn. At the end of the day, we drove out and paid and weren't satisfied with our products. read more

I used to go here quite often in highschool but I came back last weekend and I got a 12oz iced latte and it was around $7.50 without tip. This would be fine if it was an amazing coffee and not little but it was horrible and the price for the quality and size is not worth it. Wow. For the vibe they ascribe to, it needs work. At the counter, the red headed cashier would not even look up to take the order until I asked if she was ready. Then, when sitting, which is tight, several tables could not be used because they were dirty (like 7). you order ahead of time. Tipping made no difference. it's casually elegant and the food was decent but it needs a lot of work. The crust for the bread was too hard and scratches the roof of your mouth. It's downtown Tomball off Main so maybe it stays in business because of the location. And aesthetically it was nice, just dirty with super meh service to almost rude. I get the vibe workers are unhappy so maybe that's it. Not returning. I plan to check out pine street eats and sweets down the road next time. For the cost, better service is needed. read more

I have a celiac daughter (age 10), so we were excited to find this place near our home in The Woodlands. First visit we enjoyed the homemade treat options - but they are sitting out all day with flys buzzing around (gross). Got about five things for my daughter to try - they were all decent, not amazing, but anytime she can get something safe outside of the house it is special! Went back again today. She had a turkey/provolone sandwich on GF toasted bread. She liked the bread, but $16 for a generic deli meat sandwich seemed pricey. We again checked out the pasties and flys/bugs buzzing around again, landing on them. Why would they let them just sit out in the open all day??? With people walking by, coughing/sneezing. This time it super grossed me out, so I only let her get the cinnamon roll that was in a case. The table we sat at had not been cleaned, covered in crumbs and coffee spills. Overall the place is OK but nothing special in the least which is disappointing given they have gluten free. Probably will not be back a third time. read more

Gluten free blueberry scone was amazing! I was impressed. I am a first time visitor but I'll definitely be back. The smells are wonderful and the service is polite and gracious. My cappuccino was satisfying as well and was served in a lovely ceramic mug. There is obviously free Wi-Fi as many of the abundant tables we're occupied by people with laptops.
