Our book club met at Maple House last night, and it was the perfect spot for a casual, cozy get-together! This place has such a relaxed vibe -- no pressure to rush out, which made it easy to just hang out and chat for a while. They offer both coffee and wine, which is a great mix depending on your mood (or the book!). I tried one of their new pizzas -- the Hot Marina with pepperoni -- and it was good. The vibe is honestly what makes this place stand out. It's warm, inviting, and just feels like the kind of place you want to settle into. Plus, the staff is super friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. Knocked off one star just because the menu could use a bit more variety for snacks or lighter bites, but overall, I'll definitely be coming back. This little coffee place is super cute! I love the vibe here, feels very cozy and inviting. I will say it is a bit pricey but I think it's worth the trip. The cashier/barista was super friendly. I wanted soooo badly to love this place! The ambience is fab. I have to drop my kid off at camp downtown and I thought I'd post up at Maple House and give a local business some breakfast/coffee/lunch business. First, I ordered a croissant and a latte...$16 after tip. That's a lot for something that is not a full meal but more a moment of gluttony. Second, the WiFi is THE WORST. Like, I couldn't open my company's email, slack or webpage. Coffee places should have excellent WiFi. This is a must for me. I've never been to one that didn't have good WiFi. I'll be going to a different coffee shop the rest of the week. The good thing for Maple House is that it was PACKED. I don't think they'll be missing my presence. This cute coffee house is a historic 1940's resident house renovated by the local owners who have 3 additional establishments in downtown Chandler. There is the neatest outdoor patio as you walk up to the property with a beautiful focal point fireplace with several black Adirondack chairs nestled near the main entrance. Perfect chill spot for fall and in the not so common cooler cozier evenings in AZ. The cafe boasts globally sourced coffee, beer wine & cocktails. We purchased two Cinnamon Crème Brûlée's which were wonderful. They do offer a daily food menu (see pics & times). Had the truffle egg salad & the smokey brie grilled cheese sandwiches which comes with a side of potato chips. Both sandwiches were delicious. What's a must here is the Chacónne pastries. We didn't know this at the time, but they're so popular, they sell out fairly quickly cause the local baker (Mark Chacón) creates his magnificent confections that are delivered fresh daily! He is the #1 patisserie in Phoenix and was nominated for a James Beard Foundation award in 2022. Small dinning room inside so could be difficult to get seating during their peak hours. I liked the service(at least from the employee that helped me). The atmosphere is great(especially with the weather that we have today). I didn't get food, but what I saw being served, looked pretty appetizing. I told my wife we'll have to come back and try the food. Finally got to check this spot out when I met a friend for a coffee at 1030. We were able to get a seat at the bar and hang out for a few hours. I love the atmosphere, decor, and bright open space. Love that they have so much outdoor seating (for when it's cooler out), corn hole, bistro lights, greenery, etc. It's definitely a chill vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the drinks were delish. I got my standard coffee house item-- London Fog (since I don't drink coffee), and my friend got an espresso tonic with orange. I have never heard of this type of drink, but she said she loved it and loves the combo of the coffee and citrus. What a nice addition to downtown chandler. This is such a nice place to work, hangout with friends or a date. I loved the whole look and feel of the place. It has a nice barn style setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor is more like a backyard concept with some games. I am sure once the weather cools down, this place will be packed. They have nice menu with coffee, cocktails, wine and beer. The prices are reasonable and I wish they had a small bite menu for food. They do have sandwiches or cheese board but felt they could do better on those. I went with a glass of red, an Argentina wine and it was full bodied, tasted great. The service is impeccable, the lady explained the different wines and recommended some tastings before we finalized on the one. I love the indoor/outdoor concept. The outdoor space in the back is massive and great for gathering. There's plenty of seating, but may be challenging to find a spot if they're busy. Since their opening back in December, I've been back a handful of times and tried a latte, smokey brie grilled cheese, truffled egg salad sandwich, and pastries (which are by Chaconne). The coffee is solid and their signature flavors are fun and tasty. The sandwiches were delightful, but would have liked more egg salad and truffle flavor in the truffled egg salad sandwich. I felt the truffle was very subtle. As for the pastries - you can't go wrong with Chaconne pastries. I haven't met a pastry from Chaconne I didn't like. First off, the setting is amazing, great place for a morning coffee and enjoy the outdoors. The coffee is decent too however there seems to be an ongoing problem with errors. I come here often and have been given wrong orders at least 5 times. I don't have an issue with that other than they never remake the coffee. They just add something to make it the right size or taste. For whatever reason, their "fix" never produces a high quality product. They usually seem annoyed at pointing out the error. This place is so cute, I love the overall look and cozy seating of this place and the location offers plenty of parking. The drinks were pretty good and the food options have good flavor. My biggest issue is their setup isn't optimal. The order counter often gets overcrowded and the drink pick up area is so inconvenient to get to. It would almost work better if they had someone from the staff at least bringing the drinks to the tables of those whom chose to dine in. The other issue we had was the overall seating, it's pretty tight in there and doesn't really feel comfortable to sit a while and the noise level is very high, which makes having a conversation or a business meeting pretty impossible. I wanted to like this place. I did. I have seen this posted a bit on social media when it 1st opened--it's cute. It is a lot smaller than how it appears online/yelp in real life (to me). My main objective was to go somewhere with coffee and booze to sit my butt down and study for my boards. It is very load--music is loud even with ear buds in, staff were ironically the loudest (we sat inside). It was not the place to study. It does however have outlet plugins which was hard to gage online/yelp. DOES HAVE OUTLETS to plug laptops in! So that was good. I spent 50.00 plus tip for 2 egg sandwiches and 2 coffee cocktails plus I tipped. So on the high end in terms of price. Their menu for food is interesting...interesting in the sense that there are time constraints for certain menu options. My boyfriend and I were stuck with only 2 sandwich options and neither of them were super appealing for us but we picked the truffle egg sandwiches and they were not good. They had a balsamic vinegar to them that was heavy on the vinegar. My boyfriend and I only ate 1 half of our sandwiches. The bread was good . Coffee cocktails were probably the best thing we got--we thought they both were decently made even though the barista forgot to make our drinks. We ate our half sandwich before we could even get our drinks. So that was disappointing. My boyfriend ordered the carajillo and I tried the brown sugar espresso martini. Both were decent. If you want to come here with friends--it's cute and could serve that purpose. Have some drinks. Food can be easily skipped. To work/study--not really the best spot--or come not on the weekend, don't sit inside (but lose outlet capability). read more

I really like the dirty chai because it was rich in flavor, and substituted regular milk for oat milk. It was a fantastic experience however they had outside city construction going on...no fault of theirs but it did take away from the experience. Beautiful outdoor seating and staff's incredibly kind, but I must say I was so disappointed with the coffee I ordered. It can very well be my poor judgement in ordering a large cinnamon crème brûlée with only 2 shots rather than the miso caramel, which is what I was eying too. The drink tasted like milk with a dash of cinnamon and heavy cream - nothing at all what I expected. I was hoping that the richness would impart cohesively throughout the drink, but it tasted like when whip cream just settles without melting in. And the cinnamon flavor was barely there for it to be called a cinnamon drink. I also ordered the tomato flatbread and a danish, both were good! I anticipated a wood-fired flatbread, but it seemed to be one of the ready-made crusts. The hot honey tasted more sweet than hot, but it paired well with the tanginess of the tomato sauce. Tried Maple House 3x and each time was just okay. Love love the space - big, bright, open, green, organic, lots of tables indoors and sooo much seating outdoors (too bad we can't use it most of the year), very quaint neighborhood vibe. Enjoy the specialty latte flavor combinations. However, the espresso martini is batched and on tap and you can definitely tell as it doesn't taste fresh or high quality and the lattes and non-dairy milks have SO much sugar!!! Even the oat milk at 7g/8oz and half sweet, it's still too sweet for me. The staff wasn't thrilled about me asking them to check the milk labels and threw them on the counter to check them which I didn't appreciate as now their actions send the message that I am an annoyance or inconvenience and therefore, not a valued customer (note that it was not busy nor were there any people in line behind me). We really like Maple House. My sister introduced us to it a few months ago and this is our second visit. We've been here only at night and it's been a great experience in both times. In the summer, we sat outside and the singer was playing his guitar and singing live right next to us. He is great! I tried their vanilla latte tonight with coconut milk and it was perfect. Their coffee tastes different. It's not as bitter as other coffee houses which is something I enjoy. My husband had the chocolate hazelnut coffee and he enjoyed it a lot. I am not sure if they have live music every night but it's so beautiful and calming, it's such a wonderful place to hang out at with some friends, or as a couple. They have a huge beautiful patio front and back. They have heaters in the back and a fireplace in the front. We sat inside this is evening but the doors were open so we felt like we were sitting outside but without feeling super cold. The singer was here tonight too. You can hear him inside through their built in speakers. He sings so beautifully you would never guess sitting inside that this is live singing! They are open late on Saturdays which is amazing because it's so hard to find coffee late at night anywhere here. They have free WiFi also so many people come here to work as well. We had wine on our visit, sampling a white Bordeaux and a chenin blanc. Happy hour prices put each glass (7 oz) at about $10. Really fair pricing for the nice pours. The outdoor spaces are quite amazing for the cooler seasons, offering lots of seating. In the warmer months, the inside spots fill up fast. We grabbed the last two available indoor seats on the 105 degree day of our visit. This is another establishment by Jacob & Hall, two downtown entrepreneurs known for top notch venues. Maple House is a great place to relax for a few hours in the morning or afternoon. I particularly love their wine and beer selections! read more

Cute place to pop in for a coffee. I tired the brown sugar coconut latte, it was a little sweeter than I would like but had a nice smooth flavor. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to the food. My plan was to get a pastry but all the pastries on display looked over cooked. My friend and I shared the truffle egg salad sandwich. It was flavorful but there was not much egg salad to bread so it tasted mostly like bread. Would highly recommend here. The vibe is cool and the service was great! read more

I love this little coffee house! Today is the second time that I've been to the Maple House to study and this place has the best vibes to it. I love how much natural lighting there is inside the cafe as well as the outdoor seating that is offered. If you are coming to get some work done, come early to ensure that you can get a seat inside. If not you will have to wait for a seat to open up or take a table outside. There is also a huge parking lot nearby so parking is never an issue. I've tried 2 different drinks from this cafe: the little Lottie latte and the brown sugar coconut. Little Lottie Latte: very sweet! I think it's supposed to be a pistachio white chocolate drink. It was a little too sweet to me and tasted a little artificial 3/5 Brown sugar coconut: strong coconut flavor and perfectly sweet. The coconut flavor definetely overpowers the brown sugar which is good if you like coconut 4/5 Will definetely be back soon to try more drinks or just to get some work done! read more

Finally got a chance to check out the Maple House in downtown Chandler. I arrived around 7:45 in the morning. There was plenty of parking however I'm sure it gets busy later in the day. The ambiance outside with the lawn chairs and fire side were cute. Walking in, it was a bit confusing on where to order. It gets a bit congested by the entrance and the line to the ordering counter. I ordered a caramel macchiato with a breakfast sandwich. The drink came out quick however took about 5-10 minutes for the sandwich. I didn't mind the wait. My coffee was great-sweet and savory. The breakfast sandwich was also a hit-the crispy toasted bread make every bite delicious. The thin sliced bacon and egg ratio were perfect with the aioli sauce. Recently visited Maple House for the first time since their soft opening! The original visit was OK, but that is to be expected when first starting and working out kinks, so was excited to check them out again! Initial thoughts, the space and vibe is so cute. It's got a super cozy feel with the cafe being in a house and a large courtyard in the back and front. It's off the major streets of downtown Chandler, so it feels authentic and you don't catch too much of the traffic noise. They also have lots of cute seating nooks outside and a fireplace. I can't wait for the cooler months to enjoy a hot beverage on their patio. They are obviously very popular, as most the seats have been full on each visit., especially inside. They do also have bar seating along with ample tables. The tables have they awesome chargers built in, but ours seemed to not be working. Not sure if that was a one off or not. They have a solid lineup of coffees and also serve wine, beer and cocktails, so honestly a great spot to grab a pick me up at anytime of the day. I do wish they had some house made syrups, but thats hard to find these days. I have only enjoyed their coffee, so look forward to trying some of their other offerings in the future. I went with an espresso con panna this time around and my friend got a latte. I do want to try their honey lavender latte on my next visit though! They feature most of the classics, though I did not see cold brew, along with a few house specialties. They were out of most of their pastries at about 10:30 pm, so we did not get to enjoy one of their fall specials, but hope to get to indulge on the next visit. They do offer a small food offering menu. On my first visit I tried the truffle egg salad sandwich, which I recall really enjoying. Beverages came out quickly, even with the constant flow of traffic.
