Came here after hearing great things. Picked out my ice cream and toppings. My server was confusing about whether or not the cone was free. I asked for a cone and it was put in a cup. The server gave me a cone on the side but then charged me .80 extra. I think I paid the same price for a small with a cone as a medium, when the server made a mistake. Overall the pricing was confusing. My ice cream was really good but disappointed that I had to over pay. Not sure if I will come back. read more

I like Marble Slab and they have a few ice cream choices that I can't get at other ice cream shops but they are just to pricy for no reason. I had a craving for some ice cream and came here and it was busy but I was in and out fairly quickly. Most of the ice cream on display did not look appetizing so I sampled the cinnamon ice cream since it looked fresh and decided on a cup. I got oreos and chocolate chips added to my ice cream and while my ice cream was being mixed I looked around and noticed how dirty the place was, dried up ice cream on the counters, crumbs everywhere and when I went to have a seat, the table was gross. I don't care how busy they are, that's inexcusable, we got up and left cause I couldn't enjoy my ice cream. They also have a great American cookies attached but don't go in thinking your going to get a wide range of cookies like at the mall, the options were very limited and the cookies looked very old. And unlike cold stone creamery they have unlimited mix ins. And they are all fresh. So good we came back two days in a row. The only low ratings for this place are from fictitious ex employees who were fired for theft. Don't wait on line at the other place come here. Came to this location for the free cookie for voting touted nationwide by the Great American Cookie Company (this is a marble slab/cookie company co-lo) only to have the woman be completely rude about the whole situation. She seemed indignant about the free cookie promotion. When I asked if my sons, who had joined me to vote and were also wearing I voted today stickers, could also have a cookie, she refused and said it wasn't her responsibility. And I thought to myself, did she really just refuse to give two kids cookies? Free cookies aren't worth dealing with bad attitudes. Got a shake and a third of the way through, I noticed that there were shredded bits of paper throughout it. Thought the first piece was possibly from my straw, but then found 3 more pieces before throwing it away. I'm sure I swallowed several pieces of it. And now I'm concerned about where it came from. An expiration date sticker? A napkin? Some form of trash? Either way, that was disgusting to find and then a waste of money. Won't be returning. read more

Decided I wanted ice cream pretty late, selected this spot because it was super close to home. There was still a line and 3 young workers furiously trying to get everyone taken care of quickly. I got a chocolate covered waffle bowl with birthday cake ice cream mixed with m&m's. I've been going to this location of Marble Slab regularly for about 10 years now. I've never had a particularly bad experience there; however, in the past few years it has unfortunately gone downhill. When you go in and there's a line, expect to be there at least 20 minutes. Staff is friendly and ice cream is good but service is often slow. The shop usually isn't the cleanest and bathrooms aren't either. They have a pretty good selection but this place is always packed and there are only 1-2 employees working at a time so service is SUPER slow. Don't go here if you're in a hurry. Also the employees range from shitty to unsociable to just okay. I've never had an awesome experience here. The prices are also pretty expensive for ice cream. My husband and I have visited this place a few times, but today is the last. We have yet to have a satisfactory experience. I ordered directly off the menu, and she responded like she's never heard of my selection. I finally received my order with some walnuts mixed in, suggesting she was not working in a clean area. The ice cream was also half melted by the time it made it to the cup. My husband ended up getting something completely different than what he ordered. The girl was clearly not listening, perhaps just a little dumb. We just got our money back. Last time I caught them mixing in the wrong ingredients, but when I called them out, they suggested I just take it as they made it instead. Sorry, but for their very high prices, I'd like what I actually ordered, thank you! That's it for us. We'll drive to Cold Stone Creamery, Yogurtland, or Dairy Queen next time! read more

One of my favorite ice cream places but after how they treated us the "owner" was very rude. We even asked her if she was having a bad day because her customer service was just terrible. I brought some people to come try out the ice cream place and wanted to try some of the flavors but it was almost like she was annoyed to give us samples and take care of us. I got the Swiss Chocholate and Blackberry double scoop. Added in butterfinger to my chocolate, left the blackberry alone. Got my cone rolled in white chocolate. Cost 5.37 but it was extremely fresh and creamy. This is very soft ice cream fyi. I ate it really quickly and I'll be back. read more

The ice cream is great but the price is not. It is a very nice treat when I get to come here and they have a huge selection of different flavors. I always love mint chocolate chip, salted caramel, and cappuccino. I usually don't add all the topping baca use I'm a purist and like to enjoy the incredible creations as they are. read more

I'm not usually one to write poor reviews, but honestly one star is too nice for this location. We had absolutely terrible service in the store, we were overcharged and served "2 scoops" in a tiny cup that was exactly the same size as someone else in our group that ordered 1 scoop. This is not my first experience getting ice cream, I know what 2 scoops looks like and this wasn't it. The reps behind the counter were rude and short so we left and called and spoke to the owner. She was terribly rude and asked us to send pictures as proof. She admitted they overcharged us but was still rude, offered no apologies or try to turn around our poor experience. Going for ice-cream should be a treat and a fun experience. This place just made it terrible. I would not recommend going here unless you want rude attitude, poor service and to be overcharged. I love writing positive reviews and really don't like spreading negativity but I really feel like I should try to save someone a bad experience. read more

Very dirty when busy, ice cream is extremely expensive and melts very quickly, mix ins are also old tasting. Small seating area and most of the tables were occupied or dirty, the employees were too busy making ice cream to converse with me, they were short and to the point. Save your money and go to braums, or cold stone creamery with a similar set up as marble slab but with much more friendly employees and cleaner, larger seating. read more

This was my first time here but I wanted ice cream and they are close to my house. They had a line and it did take them a while too get to me but when they did the service was great, they offered samples and where very friendly and patient. I ended going with the birthday cake flavor and it was very good. Initially I thought they were pretty expensive until I found out you can add any toppings, and they have a whole bunch of them, to your cone or cup at no additional charge. So upset. I had a cookie cake ordered from GAC. I went in on Sunday to order it for pick-up on Wednesday evening. The lady working the counter told me to upgrade to a large so she could fit the writing on it. No big deal right? Wrong. I received a call about an hour before pickup that she couldn't fit it. When I showed up to pick it up, it looked AWFUL. You could see where she wiped away all the icing and re-wrote it with one icing color. No designs, just basic text with the obvious remnants of her mistake. I was so upset that I paid $30 for something that looked so awful. I was very upset and told the cashier how awful it looked and that she needed to add some sort of design to it to cover up where she had wiped everything away. She put little dots on it, that were the same color as the brown icing. So now, my best friend will have a crappy bachelorette party cake because the lady who made it could have cared less about making it look nice. Won't ever be ordering another thing from this location again. Very disappointed. No offer to give me my money back or to help fix it. read more

Customer service is usually ok but the Asian lady (possibly the owner or manager) is so rude, the poor girls in the front can be swamped and she will only pick "SELECT" customers to help. I was told that I could not purchase a child ice cream because it's only for 12 and under (my daughter was in the car with her dad by the way) by the Asian lady.
