First thing when we came in the door we sat the for 5 minutes with no waiter and then more people came in and the waiter finally came up and she just told us all to just find our own seats and then the food came out and it was bland as could be I got chicken Alfredo and it tasted like it was out a can, if you want better Alfredo then this go to Olive Garden it will blow it out the water

Great local pizza joint / Italian restaurant! Marcello's has a standard casual pizza restaurant with seating and a bangin' takeout business on the right side as you walk in ...buuuut also has a sit-down Italian restaurant with table service on the left side (with more limited hours. For the casual diner, pizza, 'bolis, cheesesteaks are all great! 'Fancy' side has great dishes like Chicken Marsala, Alfredos, etc with daily specials - all I've tried have been great. Highly recommended!

We have frequented Marcello's going on 20 years now. Always welcoming. We haven't had a meal we didn't like yet. Their cheese pizza is our daughter's go-to for pizza night. We absolutely love their homemade meatballs and often order them as a side to whatever dish we're having. Their Red Bruschetta pizza is my favorite pizza while my hubby loves meatball & mushroom. My husband's favorite dish is their eggplant rollatini. Mine is their cheese tortellini! Their restaurant is split in two. They have a dining room with full-serve for special occasions on one side, and a take-out dine-in area for more casual self-serve eating on the other side. We've used both sides. Their waitresses are always pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Marcello's for your dining pleasure.

I haven't had gluten free stuffed shells in over 10 years since I was diagnosed with Celiac disease. My mom, daughter's and I stopped in and had a great experience. The salad and dressings were good and my mom and daughter loved the fresh bread. They loved their food and I am so glad I opted to try the gfree pasta instead of going for gluten free pizza which i usually have to have. The service is great and the server checks on regularly. There was a variety of folks in here and the decor is Italian themed. They seem very popular and clearly have take out (possibly delivery but I'm not certain on that). I will be back, thanks! I didn't get pictures of the bread or salad but it was included in the meal.

This creamy chicken broccoli soup is one of my favorites. Looking for a nice cup of soup, check out Marcellos. Friendly service even with packed house.

I love coming to Marcello's once a year to celebrate the end of a school year. If I lived closer, I would come more often. Great pizza.

Almost always our go to place when we just don't want to cook. Amazing food, reasonable prices.

Thankfully the restaurant is willing to accommodate (like leaving the cheese off a pizza) so there are vegan items to be crafted. It would just be cool if there were one or two items designed with vegans in mind. So, after some hocus pocus work, I decided on The Puttanesca Pizza and a non-alcoholic Cinnamon Vanilla Mule. The Puttanesca Pizza typically features olive tapenade, house tomato sauce, shaved Romano and rosemary gremolata. The waitress said it would be no problem to leave off the Romano. The Cinnamon Vanilla Mule contains cinnamon-vanilla syrup and ginger beer. Thankfully no substitutions needed here. The pizza at Pitt Street Station is bar style. A thin, chewy crust with the toppings layered on top. I found the crust to be pretty good. I like the combo of tapenade and house tomato sauce but did find it a tad salty. Can't imagine what it is like with the Romano added in. The Cinnamon Vanilla Mule was very good. I liked the balance of all the components. It was cool to see some non alcoholic cocktails on the menu and to have them be really good. I would return to Pitt Street Station if meeting up with someone because the place is accommodating to dietary needs but until some actual vegan items are on the menu it won't be somewhere I seek out on my own.
