3.5/5. I think the pizza is pretty good here for the price. I ordered a large 2 topping pizza with old world pepperoni and spinach for $9.99 with a coupon online. I like how you have to option of THIN CRISPY CRUST crust here. I got the thin crust pizza cooked to regular temperature, but I think next time I'll get it cooked more since you have the option to get it well done. The cheese is nice and flavorful. The crust itself isn't anything super special and could be improved. You do have the option of CRUST TOPPERS here which adds even more flavor to the pizza. I got the buttery flavoring and the Roma topping. The Roma definitely gave the crust a nice herby/italian flavor. Overall, I recommend the pizza here over most of the chains. Walked into store and asked about their "pizza bowls". Woman behind counter described each of the selections and was told if we called in an order, it would be ready in less than 10 minutes. She also provided a menu. Two days later, we called to order the bowls and were told they had only one type available. Hmmm. We ordered one bowl and was there for pickup as it was being boxed. We live one stop sign away from the restaurant so we were home in less than 3 minutes. We opened the box to see a lukewarm bowl of orange grease with 6 pieces of pepperoni, 3 slices of onion, perhaps 5 small gobs of sausage, 3 slices of green bell pepper and enough cheese to cover Wisconsin. Their pizzas are delicious! Some of the nurses at work frequently ordered pizza from Marcos and they always looked so delicious! I am always hesitant about fast food pizza due to overall low quality of their ingredients, but I was pleasantly surprised by Marco's pizza! When I order online, they have great coupon deals that you can apply to your order. Their pizzas are generously loaded with ingredients and the best part, in my opinion, are the crust toppers. I have tried their traditional crust without toppers, which their crust is a little sweet. Their options for their crust toppers are garlic and/or Parmesan cheese. I have tried one or the other and a combination of both. This little addition creates a nice pop to the overall flavor of the pizza. Marco's is my choice for fast food style pizza while in the medical center. FYI, for your first Yelp check in, you get a free order of cheese bread to your food order. read more

Literally will never step foot into this Marco's Pizza location again after a recent experience I had with them. I received an e-mail to go to Marco's with a promo code. I had some trouble entering the promo code online (which was $5 off my order). I called the location to get clarification on how I could use the promo code. The guy on the other end was extremely unhelpful and was getting feedback from the store manager on what to tell me. The guy proceeded to tell me after apparently I was making a huge fuss "Ma'am, it's only $5....". He blamed the Corporate Office for this issue that I wasn't able to use the promo code, so before I hung up, I told him I would call the Corporate Office the next business day. I called Corporate Office, they handed it over to the manager of the store. He called me and was extremely rude. Didn't get anything resolved, acted as if I was a huge burden, and made it seem like I was wasting everyone's time over $5. At that point, it wasn't even about the $5, it was about the fact that everyone was blaming everyone else and no one wanted to assist me in trying to figure out how to use my stupid promo code on my online order. BAD Buffet experience !!! I was happy to see there was a new pizza joint in my area with a lunch buffet. We arrived at 1150 A.M. the 3 of us paid $8.10 for the buffet with a drink (only Pepsi products) and there were 4 other people eating the buffet. Horrible! Don't waste your money at this location. Management or something changed. I've been ordering from this Babcock location ever since it opened. It was always great, with hardly any screw-ups. Tonights order of 2 hot Italian Subs and 1 salad got turned into 2 salads and 1 COLD Italian sub. Manager on duty insisted he was "right" and refused to correct the order. Order a pizza here today, like always, I'm a regular! As I am ordering I can tell the person on the phone was new and rude, so I was like okay no Biggs, they always have wonderful phone and delivery service. We have all been new! After hour and half goes by I begin to worry. I call up and ask the gentlemen on the phone if everything was going okay I was beginning to worry! I tell him my order and he does not see it, give him my number and address, nothing! But he was a bit rude as if I made the WHOLE thing up saying he can't find my number on caller I'd!! And I ask him if he checked the exact time my phone said I called at when I hit redial and he said nothing. He did offer to make one and send it out that's why I gave another star! This place sucks. I had it for the first time about a week ago when my brother ordered a specialty pizza. I had one slice and was done. Same goes for the cheesy bread. I don't think I've ever eaten just one slice of pizza in my life. It was bland. Nothing great about it. When I moved into my new apt a few days later, the staff gave me a coupon for a free large two-topping pizza. Cool! I am not above free pizza. Unfortunately, strike two for Marco's. Just BLAND. On top of that, I think they're very overpriced. I will be paying half the price and actually enjoying my pizza from Dominoes whilst I search for a good local pizzeria. Ok, so sad to have to do this, but the past 2 times we have gone or had pizza ordered, it wasn't fully cooked. We got the 2 medium pizzas with cheesy bread and a soda. Great deal, but our 2 pizzas were not cooked all the way, you could still taste the raw dough, and the cheesy sticks were just the worst. We normally have amazing food from here, but I guess today they just didn't care. I mean I know they closed at 11, but we ordered at 930....so that gave then plenty of time to cook the food. Had Marco's Pizza for the first time last night with a friend (she had just moved into a new apartment in the medical center and had a coupon for a free large 2 topping). We called in and ordered a large old world pepperoni and mushroom on hand tossed crust and were told it would be ready in 15 minutes. As soon as we arrived the pizza was ready! They give you coupons on your pizza box and they had a sign in their store that said if you sign up for their email club you get free cheesy bread. Pizza tastes great. However, I will caution that the delivery aspect is ATROCIOUS. Had an estimated delivery time of 45 mins. I, not they, called an hour later to ask what was the delay. I was told the driver would be here in 5 more minutes. 15 minutes then passed after hanging up. This is unacceptable. I would've appreciated at least a phone call from either the driver or the restaurant on what was taking so long. I always order extra sauce and light cheese for my pepperoni pizza, and they didn't mess it up! Marco's Pizza was a pleasant surprise, even though prior to eat here I have never put much faith in fast food pizza. We ordered the plain cheese New Yorker for take out and it was prepared and given to us in 15 minutes. There are three things to consider when tasting pizza: toppings, crust, and sauce. Marco's uses fresh, never frozen, cheese. Interestingly, it is actually a three cheese blend. I would imagine that since the cheese is not frozen, you not only get a fresher taste, but it melts more completely and has less water content because there are no ice crystals. This is a very big plus and makes a big difference in the overall taste of the pizza. The sauce is well balanced, if a tiny bit on the salty side. In my opinion, if the sauce is kept a little less salty it would balance very nicely with the already salty cheese. During the pizza prep process, I noticed that the cook sprinkled some seasoning over the pizza immediately before he place it in the oven. This added seasoning may have had added salt, which they may have done better without. Aside from this, the sauce's seasonings and garlic flavor come through nicely. The dough is good for a pizza of this price and it is fresh made daily onsite. The proportion of cheese and sauce to dough is excellent. Many fast food pizzas have too much cheese and toppings, while others do not have enough resulting in a dough-heavy pie. Marco's balanced it out just right. Apparently, they offer quick delivery and I will try this option soon. Marco's has pretty good topping selections for a fast food restaurant, even for vegetarians. You will find classics like pepperoni, sausage, black olives, and mushrooms. Fortunately, they do not feature outrageous toppings like pineapple or chicken, which, while good on gourmet pizzas, would kill a New York-style pie. If you are looking for fast food pizza and want good taste for less cash, go to Marco's. Please forget Dominos, Pizza Hut, and Papa Johns. This is better. Much better. read more

This is a rather new pizza place on Babcock and we have been so impressed with their pizzas. The pizza tastes great. The cheese is so good. Sauce has flavor. yum! Ever since trying, this has become our go to, first choice pizza place. I dont want to jinx myself, but the delivery has always been really fast, but then again we live really close. The website allows online ordering, but its really bad. It works & with patience you can order online, but its just not a smart website and sometimes you have to re-enter your order and/or delete before you can navigate through the steps to complete your order. At least be sure of what you want to order before you start the order process. They have lots of choices for toppings and crust flavors they add-on for free. Love this place! Ordered from this place last night for dinner. My boyfriend lives in the medical center and loves this place- the NY crust pepperoni is to die for, in his words. He's a thin crust fan, me? Not so much, but I thought I'd give it a try. He signed up for their customer appreciation club and they mail him coupons from time to time, and email deals as well. Using a recent coupon, we called in our order for delivery last night. Customer service was a little iffy- whoever answered the phone either had a bad connection or just couldn't hear, because everything needed to be repeated several times. The delivery driver was not late, as other reviews have complained, and was a friendly and attractive guy. I'm not a fan of delivery and would rather do take out myself, just because delivery requires a tip and I'm really not that lazy, but I was quite pleased with how it worked out. The product itself was tasty. Super greasy, so don't even think your diet is going to survive with this place in your speed dial. The thin crust NY style with pepperoni and mushrooms hit that perfect cheesy, greasy, junk-foody spot. The pepperoni was tasty, the mushrooms were generous, and the crust was sprinkled with just the right amount of herbs/cheese- it was delicious! I'm trying to cut back on carbs and I couldn't stop myself from eating the crust! Unfortunately, I promptly got sick after finishing my second slice. BF was totally fine though, and we ate the same thing. I suspect this may come back to the grease factor- I think my stomach just couldn't handle it. Not sure what problems some if the other guys have with that location but I always got what I order. Maybe I don't order some fancy half this half that pizza like others. But if you are that fancy pizza sounds like the wrong food for you anyways. Today I ate my pizza there and the dinning room is clean, the toilets are also clean and it's a nice place to have your pizza. The problem I saw is that they have KSAT on instead of Fox29. Not a major problem but should be fixed sometimes soon. I will come back to that location and I recommend the BBQ chicken pizza as this one is just great. And I mean the whole pizza as BBQ chicken and not some dance half and half. The only time you should have half and half is in your coffee. But we are at a pizza place and bot a coffee shop. This review isn't about the taste of the food...it was and always has been great. My rating is about their customer service...rather, their profound lack of it. After placing an order for three separate items (two pizzas and a salad), I went to pick them up. YUM!! I couldn't wait to dig into my Greek salad with all of the fixings including grilled chicken. I opened the plastic container and began mixing it up. I didn't see any chicken at that time. Surely, I'd not seen it because I just missed it with my fork. After a few bites, I still couldn't find it. My friends and I were busy taking in a Friday night at the movies so I didn't want to interrupt our evening by calling Marco's Pizza right then and there. I did, however, go back to the restaurant the next day with my receipt in hand clearly showing that I'd requested (and paid for) grilled chicken to be added to my salad. The response??? Since I'd not reported the issue right at the time I noticed it missing, I was out of luck. So said the manager. I understand they may have a policy in this regard, but they could have offered something in exchange for my being out the money and my time. I asked...I was told no. I went here for lunch this afternoon ...(the buffet) the pizza was cold and it was 8 and some change for the buffet and a drink... they only had six slices of pizza out and cold cheese sticks and cinnamon bread. The salad bar looked anemic and I sat there waiting for 20 minutes for them to get something hot out. It was 1 in the afternoon and it should have been plenty early enough to get something, as they advertise that the buffet is from 11 - 3pm. I enjoyed the pizza... but it was just like Papa Johns The menu prices were almost half again more than what Papa Johns has.
