Tonight was my first visit here after finding it on Yelp and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. Our server Almendra was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The quality of the food & drinks were superb especially the Michelada, Socrates Roll and the guacamole appetizer. I instantly felt comfortable when I walked in because the AC was on and the place was very clean and I was seated in front of a huge tv so I could watch the Dodgers play. I hope to return here many times to have more delicious seafood.

We found this place randomly and drove quite a bit out of our way home but it was so worth it. The place is kind of a diamond in the rough. Our waitress was Lily and she was great. Made great recommendations and we tried fish chicharron for the first time and they were delicious (we ate them so fast I forgot to take a picture). I had the shrimp tostada and my boyfriend had the campechama - both absolutely fresh and delicious. My daughter had sushi and devoured it before we could even try it - so I'm assuming it's delicious. We'll for sure be back!

It had been a couple years since I had eaten at Mariscos Choix. Let me tell you the food is so much better than I remember. We ordered aguachile in salsa negra 10/10 definitely going back for that. The ceviche mitotero 8/10 it was good but for my liking I wish it had more callo de hacha. The last thing we ordered was the Arqui Roll it was fire 10/10. Service was amazing I don't recall the ladies name but she was so helpful in suggesting certain plates. With this hot weather I love the option of sitting outside. I enjoyed the mist and fans was refreshing.

Cute sit down mariscos spot with amazing service! The seafood was super fresh with no fishy smell and the fajitas came out on a sizzling tray perfectly cooked. The limeade had the perfect amount of sugar, not too sweet. I didn't get a chance to try the sushi so I will have to try that next time. Definitely recommend for a laid back date spot or beers with friends. Outside has TVs so I was able to watch the FIFA game as well. Staff was super friendly, the manager even gave us a coupon for a free dish for the next time. So I have a update for you guys soon.

Came here to have lunch with my friends and it's an ok place. We order fish taco and shrimp it was good. They have a lot of seafood on the menu but the menu in Spanish if your want English you would have to scan a QR on the condiments tray. Service was good the waitress we had she went over on the menu and what was good and what she would recommend. It's very small inside, when you walk in it's a long booth goes against the wall to the other side and they got chairs on the other end, probably 6 tables. It's a small place.

We visited Choix Restaurant in Pico Rivera around 6:00 p.m. and had a wonderful experience! Margarita helped us and was incredibly sweet and attentive. The food was delicious--especially the avocado dish, molcajete, sushi, and refreshing lemonade. There was plenty of parking, and the entire staff made us feel very welcome. I finally got to try Mariscos Choix after much hype from my coworkers, and it was absolutely as good as everyone said it was. Customer service and food were excellent. I couldn't ask for a better dinner experience. I arrived at the restaurant around 7pm on a Wednesday. The restaurant had its own small private lot, and I was lucky enough to snag the last parking spot at the time. The restaurant was much smaller than I expected since it looked so much bigger from the outside. That said, it looked like they also had an outdoor patio with additional seats. I had the pleasure of interacting with two servers that evening. The gentleman, whose name escapes me now, was the nicest guy! He was so personable and such a delight to talk to. Liliana ended up being my primary server, and she was just as friendly and helpful. I felt like they both went above and beyond to ensure I was enjoying my meal and overall experience. Mariscos Choix' menu was huge, which was a bit overwhelming for me. They had lots of items to choose from e.g. ceviches, tacos, sushi, etc. Lili helped me through the menu, and per her recommendation I got the aguachile mixto with rojo sauce. This aguachile was insanely delicious. It was flavorful, and the spice packed a punch. The avocado was an add-on, but for only $2.99 they gave me the entire avocado. What a steal! What made the aguachile a mix was in the two ways the shrimp was prepared - with water and with lime. Some of the shrimp had a firmer texture of being cooked all the way through while the ones made with lime were on the rawer side. I knew by the picture that this plate was going to be big, but I thought to myself, "It's mainly shrimp. I can eat this all no problem." I was stuffed 3/4's of the way through and couldn't finish my meal. Last but not least, I loved their tostadas. Extra crunchy and had a rough masa texture that I liked. I cannot wait to come back and try the rest of their menu!

*****MUST STOP & TRY***** We were in the area and had to try this place. I wanted a Campechana. It was not what I was used to, it was just okay. Just came back from this location. I ordered the ceviche pescado and a taco gobernador, both were incredibly flavorful with the ceviche being my favorite. The baked tortillas were noticeably thick and crispy, a perfect vehicle for the ceviche. FYI the salsa is actually hot, so be prepared. The servers, Almendra and George, gave top notch, friendly service, A+. The manager was also very friendly. I'm really happy with my dining experience and would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area. (Full disclosure, I did get a coupon for a free side after the meal, but by that time I had already been wowed by the food and service, so this did not affect my review at all.) read more

Came here on a Saturday night, 40 minutes before they closed. Luckily they still let us sit and order. I got the scallop (calo de hacha) tostada and a michelada. The tostada had great spicy flavor but I feel there wasn't enough scallops on their for the price. The scallops are fresh and not fishy. Under the scallops there was a bunch of diced cucumber. The michelada also had good flavor but I don't think it had a full beer in it. The service was great, our server was very attentive. read more

Everything was great. It fits about 20ish people inside plus they have a patio. From the moment we entered, we were greeted promptly and with a smile. Place is clean and staff is friendly. My mom and I had Ceviche de Camarón (shrimp) and Tacos Estilo Sinaloense. Both were delicious and well served. Flavor was not lacking or over bearing. My Limonada Mineral was yummy and full of Mexico nostalgia for me. Make sure you say hi to Veronica on your visit. She's lovely. read more

I am so happy I got to try this place out. The indoor seating is on the smaller side, but there's plenty of outdoor patio seating. I also really enjoyed the service here!! Maracuya Margarita - let's be honest, I got this because the drink is fuchsia. It's fuchsia and has some spice sprinkled on the side of the drink. Very memorable. Aguachile verdes - The shrimp is so fresh, but really the entire dish is fresh. Baked seafood dynamite - I wanted to try the sushi here and why not get it the baked dynamite. So good and a nice mix to the mariscos. Tacos Sinaloenses - This was so good. The shrimp, cheese, avocado go so well with the crispy taco. I had an incredible experience at Mariscos Choix! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked--tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The salsa added a perfect touch to every bite, and the sushi rolls were freshly prepared and tasted amazing. The seafood was a highlight--fresh, flavorful, and with just the right kick of spice. We had an amazing experience here! Our server, Margarita, was incredible super friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome the whole time. We ordered the tacos de pulpo and the Golden Shrimp Roll, and both were insanely good. The octopus was tender and full of flavor, and the roll had that perfect crunchy, golden finish. For drinks, we had a lemonade and jasmine tea, and both were refreshing and paired perfectly with the food. Overall, everything from the service to the food was top tier. Definitely coming back! My wife and I had an amazing experience at this restaurant--it truly felt like being back in Puerto Nuevo, Mexico. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. Our waitress, Monique, was fantastic. She checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. I went with my family for dinner, we really enjoyed the food and service. The food was great starting with the appetizers. We got an appetizers called Chile Rellenos, they were so good we all enjoyed the unique flavor. My oldest son got the Fried Talapia and my youngest son got the Costa Azul. They both really enjoyed their meal. My husband n I got Camarones Al Mojo de Ajo they are one of the best I have had. We also got the sushi rolls they were also great. I tried this place for the first time today and don't let the star rating fool you this place is the best! This is definitely not your typical Mariscos or Sushi place the variety is awesome and my family and I were all happy with each of the plates we got. If you're a fan of sushi the Boulevard Roll is a godsend, not sure what to order the fried rice plate is easily one of the best and worth coming back for. It wasn't simply that our preferred seating wasn't available--it was the way the situation was handled. The hostess came across as rude and dismissive, and I did not feel like there was any effort to make us feel welcome or clearly explain the seating situation. The music was also extremely loud, which added to the unpleasant atmosphere. At that point, I simply said "never mind" and we left without dining there. Unfortunately, the first impression and customer service were enough for us to choose another restaurant.
