Cute sit down mariscos spot with amazing service! The seafood was super fresh with no fishy smell and the fajitas came out on a sizzling tray perfectly cooked. The limeade had the perfect amount of sugar, not too sweet. I didn't get a chance to try the sushi so I will have to try that next time. Definitely recommend for a laid back date spot or beers with friends. Outside has TVs so I was able to watch the FIFA game as well. Staff was super friendly, the manager even gave us a coupon for a free dish for the next time. So I have a update for you guys soon.

Great service. Veronica thank you. She's always nice and friendly! the whole staff always makes us feel welcomed. Food is bomb like always. (I took no photos I was so hungry) I got the fish taco, and shared the fajitas plate with a Modelo michelada The vibes are always chill. Watched the Colombia vs Switzerland game.

It had been a couple years since I had eaten at Mariscos Choix. Let me tell you the food is so much better than I remember. We ordered aguachile in salsa negra 10/10 definitely going back for that. The ceviche mitotero 8/10 it was good but for my liking I wish it had more callo de hacha. The last thing we ordered was the Arqui Roll it was fire 10/10. Service was amazing I don't recall the ladies name but she was so helpful in suggesting certain plates. With this hot weather I love the option of sitting outside. I enjoyed the mist and fans was refreshing.

Came here to have lunch with my friends and it's an ok place. We order fish taco and shrimp it was good. They have a lot of seafood on the menu but the menu in Spanish if your want English you would have to scan a QR on the condiments tray. Service was good the waitress we had she went over on the menu and what was good and what she would recommend. It's very small inside, when you walk in it's a long booth goes against the wall to the other side and they got chairs on the other end, probably 6 tables. It's a small place.

I finally got to try Mariscos Choix after much hype from my coworkers, and it was absolutely as good as everyone said it was. Customer service and food were excellent. I couldn't ask for a better dinner experience. I arrived at the restaurant around 7pm on a Wednesday. The restaurant had its own small private lot, and I was lucky enough to snag the last parking spot at the time. The restaurant was much smaller than I expected since it looked so much bigger from the outside. That said, it looked like they also had an outdoor patio with additional seats. I had the pleasure of interacting with two servers that evening. The gentleman, whose name escapes me now, was the nicest guy! He was so personable and such a delight to talk to. Liliana ended up being my primary server, and she was just as friendly and helpful. I felt like they both went above and beyond to ensure I was enjoying my meal and overall experience. Mariscos Choix' menu was huge, which was a bit overwhelming for me. They had lots of items to choose from e.g. ceviches, tacos, sushi, etc. Lili helped me through the menu, and per her recommendation I got the aguachile mixto with rojo sauce. This aguachile was insanely delicious. It was flavorful, and the spice packed a punch. The avocado was an add-on, but for only $2.99 they gave me the entire avocado. What a steal! What made the aguachile a mix was in the two ways the shrimp was prepared - with water and with lime. Some of the shrimp had a firmer texture of being cooked all the way through while the ones made with lime were on the rawer side. I knew by the picture that this plate was going to be big, but I thought to myself, "It's mainly shrimp. I can eat this all no problem." I was stuffed 3/4's of the way through and couldn't finish my meal. Last but not least, I loved their tostadas. Extra crunchy and had a rough masa texture that I liked. I cannot wait to come back and try the rest of their menu!

We really enjoyed the octopus tacos and the shrimp ceviche tostada - they give you extra tostadas and everything pairs perfectly with their draft beers! Veronica and the manager were very welcoming and accommodating considering it was our first time there! LOCATION: - Has a few tables inside and an outdoor patio with plenty of seating - really enjoyed the outdoor seating when it's good weather out! PARKING: - They have a small lot in the back with about 6 spots but plenty of street parking WAIT: -About a 20 min wait for a table for 3 on a Friday around 5 pm NOTES/DEALS: - They have social hour from 3-6 pm with discounts on drinks and draft beer! - Their paper menu is in Spanish but if you scan the QR code on the table or go on their website, they have it in Spanish + English!

This place is all around amazing! Food was 20/10 and staff were just exceptional!!! We were kindly greeted and seated by Monique. She had so much patience with our big family and was kind to us the entire time from beginning to end even after my son spilled all his jasmine tea all over the table and floor. This rating is solely based on customer service since our waitress never came to our table. The host was exceptional, within two minutes, he offered a patio table and told us that our waitress would be Imelda and gave us our menu. We were excited because the food looked promising but 20 minutes passed by and our waitress never came to our table. My financial trainer found this spot after our last appointment of the night in that area and boy let me tell you. It did not disappoint! Our beautiful sweet hearted server (smh already forgot her name blaming food coma) but she's in training has been there for 2 months and even tho her manager was right there watching and listening she did an amazing job, couldn't even tell she was new! Back to the food it was fire!!!! I had the shrimp taco added steak and omgeeeeeeeez the flavors were 100% flavoring, period end of story! Definitely coming back for more. We went in with our service dog and was told, he was not allowed. The law says different, they they changed their mind and said they would put us on the waiting list to sit outside. Found this place randomly after my son's football game and I can say that I've found my new favorite marisco spot! The place was small but so clean, and so comfortable. Our server Vero was fabulous and all her recommendations were chefs kiss! Love the tacos. Only giving five stars since the dude gave me tostadas and salsa to start off as a complimentary appetizer that you don't have to pay for. Gave this place 3 stars because food is over priced and our lady server did not seem friendly or happy. Would say she could've been having a bad day but she seemed happier serving the guys. Food was good, but I ordered 3 shrimp with cheese tacos no beans or rice for $21 smh. I honestly didn't know how much this place would be. I just looked up the closest Mariscos, assuming they would be like 3 to 4 dollars a taco. Not to mention they charged my sister a $10 for a large lemonade(was is a shrimp cocktail glass) Server told us there is no kids drink size. This is great seafood. We tried a little bit of everything here. We started with oyster and botana de camarón con pulpo. I ordered the shrimp fajitas, my party ordered tostada de agua Chile, fillet de Choix, and the Tierra y Mar tacos. Everything was delicious. I asked everyone how their dishes were and heard nothing but positive things. The service was amazing, lily was great! After the success of our original Downey location, Mariscos Choix expanded to Pico Rivera with the goal of bringing our signature coastal flavors and vibrant hospitality to a new community. Located in the heart of Pico Rivera, this location quickly made its mark with a unique blend of tradition and energy serving up authentic Sinaloa-style seafood, fusion sushi and weekend traditional Mexican breakfast. The service is always amazing. They do get sometimes busy and it's sometimes a 1 woman show taking the orders and giving the orders but she's a doll! There's probably at least 3 TVs playing sports. We ordered their special of the day, which was a ceviche. It was made with raw shrimp, not cooked in any way, like straight from the freezer, thawed, chopped, and put into a bowl with the other fresh diced stuff. Usually, the marinating time the shrimp sits in the ceviche "cooks" it, not this one, gray shrimp. We read a review that said the octopus was life-changing, and we love a well-cooked octopus. If the octopus was just cooked, or just heated, or just slightly on the grill for a second, it would have been super delicious and life-changing, however, it was finished-cooked so poorly. My guess is that someone thinks that grill marks make it good, wrong, they burnt it. The flavor is burnt! It becomes bitter and burnt! Well, guess what, we ordered the fish.... And guess what.. it is the same!!! BURNT! Not grilled, BURNT, ON PURPOSE!?! If you want good Zarandeado, I recommend you go try Mariscos Martin in La Puente or Baldwin Park. Like I said, skip it, I do not recommend it. And, it was not cheap neither. It looked so upscale, so awesome, smelled good, then just burnt! Don't believe all the hype. This is definitely a hype restaurant, or somewhere to get drunk and not be able to comprehend what you are digesting.

We were craving aguachiles & their dish did not disappoint, flavor hit so well-- so flavorful with a good kick for those that like their mouth on fire a bit--, the service was super on it with the tostadas refills as well as the drinks. This is definitely not your average Molcajete. They have it all in here. Beef, chicken and bacon wrapped shrimp. As someone whose family is from Culiacán, Sinaloa, I have pretty high standards when it comes to aguachiles and these were hands down some of the best I've ever had. The flavors were incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced, and tasted just like home. Since it was our first time visiting, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I want to share that I had never been treated so unrespected as a Customer. I went with a friend to eat Cocktail Shrimp. The employee with tattoos on the hands, moved outside with no reason yesterday afternoon and it was hot. Then, outside came to disturb us again, this whole sutuation ruined our eating experience. With all of this, we had to go and request our food. So unprofessional service and rude, we should had cancel our order and left. I hope that Management take care if this problem of Rude employees and Terrible service. I cannot see myself dining myself ever there again!. There was no need to move us outside and dusturbing us outside also. read more

I had an incredible experience at Mariscos Choix! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked--tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The salsa added a perfect touch to every bite, and the sushi rolls were freshly prepared and tasted amazing. The seafood was a highlight--fresh, flavorful, and with just the right kick of spice. Next time, I'll tone down the spice a bit, but it was still fantastic. Our server was absolutely amazing--attentive, friendly, and really made our experience special. We had an amazing experience here! Our server, Margarita, was incredible super friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome the whole time. We ordered the tacos de pulpo and the Golden Shrimp Roll, and both were insanely good. The octopus was tender and full of flavor, and the roll had that perfect crunchy, golden finish. For drinks, we had a lemonade and jasmine tea, and both were refreshing and paired perfectly with the food. Overall, everything from the service to the food was top tier. Definitely coming back! Everything about this place is amazing. The staff were very friendly and good spirited. Props to Lily for being a great server and always checking in on us. The ambiance of the place was great--all really good vibes! Now as for the food where do I start? The lemonade was freshly made and tasted amazing. The food tasted amazing as well; you can tell the ingredients were fresh as well. The ceviche is probably the best I've ever tasted I'm not even lying it's juicy and the flavors are all there! My wife and I had an amazing experience at this restaurant--it truly felt like being back in Puerto Nuevo, Mexico. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. Our waitress, Monique, was fantastic. She checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. After we finished, Israel, the assistant manager, came by to personally make sure we were satisfied--which we definitely were. Overall, excellent service and incredible food. I went with my family for dinner, we really enjoyed the food and service. The food was great starting with the appetizers. We got an appetizers called Chile Rellenos, they were so good we all enjoyed the unique flavor. My oldest son got the Fried Talapia and my youngest son got the Costa Azul. They both really enjoyed their meal. My husband n I got Camarones Al Mojo de Ajo they are one of the best I have had. We also got the sushi rolls they were also great. First time coming to this restaurant and we had a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the Ceviche Mitotero, which was fresh and full of flavor, and then shared the Molcajete. The portions were very generous we were so full by the end of the meal! Been wanting to come here forever finally decided to stop and believe me when I tell you the food and service was amazing. Clarissa our waitress explained the menu thoroughly. She was excellent and extremely helpful. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back and we will be telling friends and relatives about this hidden treasure. Came back today to try the new Super Lobster roll. A definitely must. Mouthwatering delicious. I was surprised they now serve beer on tap.. tried the Mango Ipa was good but will stick to my traditional negra modelo. Service like away on point.. always good to have a full satisfaction. Update: went in for the breakfast. I must say i not expecting some thing of this beyond taste on the chilorio but it was reaExcellent dishes and you must try the licuado de platano con chocomil. Absolutely fabulous experience at Mariscos Choix! As someone who is NOT a seafood eater, I was honestly blown away. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. What truly made the experience stand out, though, was George's service -- hands down some of the best service we have had in years.
