Tonight was my first visit here after finding it on Yelp and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. Our server Almendra was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The quality of the food & drinks were superb especially the Michelada, Socrates Roll and the guacamole appetizer. I instantly felt comfortable when I walked in because the AC was on and the place was very clean and I was seated in front of a huge tv so I could watch the Dodgers play. I hope to return here many times to have more delicious seafood.

We found this place randomly and drove quite a bit out of our way home but it was so worth it. The place is kind of a diamond in the rough. Our waitress was Lily and she was great. Made great recommendations and we tried fish chicharron for the first time and they were delicious (we ate them so fast I forgot to take a picture). I had the shrimp tostada and my boyfriend had the campechama - both absolutely fresh and delicious. My daughter had sushi and devoured it before we could even try it - so I'm assuming it's delicious. We'll for sure be back!

It had been a couple years since I had eaten at Mariscos Choix. Let me tell you the food is so much better than I remember. We ordered aguachile in salsa negra 10/10 definitely going back for that. The ceviche mitotero 8/10 it was good but for my liking I wish it had more callo de hacha. The last thing we ordered was the Arqui Roll it was fire 10/10. Service was amazing I don't recall the ladies name but she was so helpful in suggesting certain plates. With this hot weather I love the option of sitting outside. I enjoyed the mist and fans was refreshing.

Cute sit down mariscos spot with amazing service! The seafood was super fresh with no fishy smell and the fajitas came out on a sizzling tray perfectly cooked. The limeade had the perfect amount of sugar, not too sweet. I didn't get a chance to try the sushi so I will have to try that next time. Definitely recommend for a laid back date spot or beers with friends. Outside has TVs so I was able to watch the FIFA game as well. Staff was super friendly, the manager even gave us a coupon for a free dish for the next time. So I have a update for you guys soon.

Came here to have lunch with my friends and it's an ok place. We order fish taco and shrimp it was good. They have a lot of seafood on the menu but the menu in Spanish if your want English you would have to scan a QR on the condiments tray. Service was good the waitress we had she went over on the menu and what was good and what she would recommend. It's very small inside, when you walk in it's a long booth goes against the wall to the other side and they got chairs on the other end, probably 6 tables. It's a small place.

We visited Choix Restaurant in Pico Rivera around 6:00 p.m. and had a wonderful experience! Margarita helped us and was incredibly sweet and attentive. I finally got to try Mariscos Choix after much hype from my coworkers, and it was absolutely as good as everyone said it was. Customer service and food were excellent. I couldn't ask for a better dinner experience. I arrived at the restaurant around 7pm on a Wednesday. The restaurant had its own small private lot, and I was lucky enough to snag the last parking spot at the time. The restaurant was much smaller than I expected since it looked so much bigger from the outside. That said, it looked like they also had an outdoor patio with additional seats. I had the pleasure of interacting with two servers that evening. The gentleman, whose name escapes me now, was the nicest guy! He was so personable and such a delight to talk to. Liliana ended up being my primary server, and she was just as friendly and helpful. I felt like they both went above and beyond to ensure I was enjoying my meal and overall experience. Mariscos Choix' menu was huge, which was a bit overwhelming for me. They had lots of items to choose from e.g. ceviches, tacos, sushi, etc. Lili helped me through the menu, and per her recommendation I got the aguachile mixto with rojo sauce. This aguachile was insanely delicious. It was flavorful, and the spice packed a punch. The avocado was an add-on, but for only $2.99 they gave me the entire avocado. What a steal! What made the aguachile a mix was in the two ways the shrimp was prepared - with water and with lime. Some of the shrimp had a firmer texture of being cooked all the way through while the ones made with lime were on the rawer side. I knew by the picture that this plate was going to be big, but I thought to myself, "It's mainly shrimp. I can eat this all no problem." I was stuffed 3/4's of the way through and couldn't finish my meal. Last but not least, I loved their tostadas. Extra crunchy and had a rough masa texture that I liked. I cannot wait to come back and try the rest of their menu!

To start of, we were greeted and welcomed by Israel. From the jump, the service was awesome. Then we got sat and our order was taken by Clarissa. She was super attentive and explained to us the menu since it was our first time. From there, it was 10/10 from the food to the service. we live down the street and walk over whenever we crave a cold beer. But the food and the service is what always keeps us coming back. The mariscos are always fresh the salsas are perfect. The brunch menu has some tasty green chilaquiles and french toast for the little ones. Veronica took care of us today and was very attentive, our food came out quick. Good food. Tastes fresh and clean. I like quick service and I don't like having to ask for menus especially when we are all hungry and only have a certain amount of time to eat. The restaurant was not really busy so idk why I had to go and ask for menus after being seated. The first girl who sat us down seemed like she was not very attentive. However the waitress we had her name was almendra and she was attentive and sweet. Whoever sat us down at first is probably not the best for business in my opinion. I like feeling welcomed and that first person seemed to be very superficial. Genuine is key when it comes to service. Thanks but food is up there in quality. Also I told my dad and sisters this place was good and had recommended it so yeah I think either that hostess or waitress whatever she is maybe wasn't very happy. Whatever the reason for her below mediocre service is definitely not good for business. Ask for Almendra to be your waitress she is excellent! read more

Tried Mariscos Choix and had a great experience . Their seafood was fresh and they have a variety of dishes. I tried the tostada mixta and it was fresh and flavorful. Their sauce was the right amount of spicy. Had a Miche and cocktail but would suggest they offer additional tequilas or perhaps mezcal. The vibe inside is lively, and they even have outdoor seating if you want to enjoy your meal outside. Service is also a strong point. Their staff was friendly and attentive. They checked in constantly and towards end asked if everything went smoothly. TikTok brought me here and would def drive 25 mins from the OC again. read more

We have been here a few times and we always order something different so I can confidently say that you can't go wrong with anything at this restaurant! The food is so delicious, bursting with flavor, and made fresh to order. Fresh mariscos and yummy drinks to pair with it! A favorite of mine is their octopus tacos.. unique and amazing! The service is always fast and friendly. They can get busy and their parking lot is rather small so you make have to look for street parking. The restaurant itself has limited indoor seating and a small patio in the front but the ambiance is nice. read more

Established in 2016.

After the success of our original Downey location, Mariscos Choix expanded to Pico Rivera with the goal of bringing our signature coastal flavors and vibrant hospitality to a new community. Located in the heart of Pico Rivera, this location quickly made its mark with a unique blend of tradition and energy serving up authentic Sinaloa-style seafood, fusion sushi and weekend traditional Mexican breakfast. We were craving aguachiles & their dish did not disappoint, flavor hit so well-- so flavorful with a good kick for those that like their mouth on fire a bit--, the service was super on it with the tostadas refills as well as the drinks. This is definitely not your average Molcajete. They have it all in here. Beef, chicken and bacon wrapped shrimp. It comes w smelted fresh cheese, green onions, avocado, tomato and this delicious sauce. All the while it's sizzling and and cooking on your table. You can actually hear the sizzle. Today me and my wife came to eat at this amazing Mariscos spot that I've been coming for a couple months now and today we came in and a server named Margarita came and greeted us with a big smile and greeting.she right away started a conversation with us asking if we've been here before and what she recommends us trying and what drinks we wanted. I want to share that I had never been treated so unrespected as a Customer. I went with a friend to eat Cocktail Shrimp. The employee with tattoos on the hands, moved outside with no reason yesterday afternoon and it was hot. Then, outside came to disturb us again, this whole sutuation ruined our eating experience. With all of this, we had to go and request our food. So unprofessional service and rude, we should had cancel our order and left. First time coming to this restaurant and we had a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the Ceviche Mitotero, which was fresh and full of flavor, and then shared the Molcajete. The portions were very generous we were so full by the end of the meal! A special thank you to our waitress, Margarita, who provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome. We discovered this gem about six months ago, and our enthusiasm grows with each visit! We keep discovering more perfect creations! We most recently experienced the soul-warming flavorful fish caldo. It is as delicious as their guacamole, baja fish tacos, and white fish tostadas. First time here at this restaurant and location. The food was amazing but the hospitality that Margarita provided was outstanding. She kept coming over to check on us often even though she had other tables as well. The food was delicious and a lot of choices. Our family had a little of everything and nothing was disappointing. I tried this place for the first time today and don't let the star rating fool you this place is the best! This is definitely not your typical Mariscos or Sushi place the variety is awesome and my family and I were all happy with each of the plates we got. If you're a fan of sushi the Boulevard Roll is a godsend, not sure what to order the fried rice plate is easily one of the best and worth coming back for. The service is great & im definitely going to recommend this to everyone that's a fan of seafood read more

At first, she told us that seating was available on the patio or at the bar. I told her that I preferred to sit inside. She then said there was no indoor availability because everything was reserved. What was confusing was that shortly after, she also changed what she had originally told us and said the patio was no longer available either, leaving the bar as the only option. It wasn't simply that our preferred seating wasn't available--it was the way the situation was handled. The hostess came across as rude and dismissive, and I did not feel like there was any effort to make us feel welcome or clearly explain the seating situation. The music was also extremely loud, which added to the unpleasant atmosphere. At that point, I simply said "never mind" and we left without dining there. Unfortunately, the first impression and customer service were enough for us to choose another restaurant.
