Food and service is great. Definitely one of the best carnitas burritos I've had this side of the border

This place is really good. We went for the first time yesterday and the wait staff go out of their way to provide exceptional service and make sure you are taken care of. My cocktail de camaron was DELICIOUS! I ordered a small one just to taste if it was worth it, and it was great. Our micheladas were also very very good. My husband ordered a filete de pescado al mojo de ajo and he loved it, and I ordered a combo plate of enchilada ranchera and chile relleno. A few things: I know foods vary based on the region they come from but the enchilada seemed to be just a regular cheese enchilada with sauce, not the drier enchilada with oregano and dark red sauce I'm used to for a ranchera (I might be wrong, I'm not Mexican). The chile relleno was tasty, I liked it a lot. My husband and I agreed that the rice and refried beans were just ok. It wasn't bad...just ok. Last, my husband ordered a tostada de ceviche with octopus, crab and shrimp. The octopus was rock hard, inedible. Despite a few set-backs, we would definitely return as most of the food was very good, and I cannot say enough about how attentive the staff was. read more

4 out of the 5 people in our party were very disappointed with our food. My carne asada was overcooked, hard and way too salty. I had to send it back. It tasted like they poured cheap Lawry's salt all over. The steak picado was hard. The carne asada tacos and rice were flavorless, the camarones a la diabla were sweet n spicy? So random. The beer was warm, tf? Now for the positives; We got sat right away and our waitress was attentive. The flour tortillas, chips & salsa were good. The end. I'm not sure what went wrong with this place. The seasoning is totally off on a lot of your food. This coming from someone who gives mainly good reviews. Left me feeling very uneasy to realize I ate everything else and that last part I was going to consume was clearly rotten. I will not be coming back. Great Mexican food. Prices are reasonable. I love the enchiladas and Chile rellenos. Service there is always friendly. I've been getting take out from them since the pandemic started and service is quick and accurate. They make sure they are giving the order to the right person by asking to see the online order or having you tell them what the order is. read more

I was so looking forward to trying an authentic Mexican cocktail. We got in at 812pm and got served our cocktails at 9pm. If not for the very good cocktails I would give this place one star for the very poor customer service. We are still coming back but we will make sure they will serve our food on time. Updating as of today. Just had a fantastic sit down lunch al fresco! My wife had the carnitas tacos and I had the campechana de mariscos. So nice and quiet to dine outside in the shade. The staff is very upbeat and friendly. A definite must! read more

A very eager staff here to wait on you and get your order. We had our waitress come to our table multiple times and we kept saying not yet. We had one waiter as well. Really clean place, no fishy smell. Nice! If your not a fish eater they have plenty of choices to choose from. Steak, chicken tortas! Almost any Mexican entree you could want a Mexican joint. Plenty of cold beer and plenty of Mariscos selections. Food was good. Imitating crab meat in 7 mares not great but it wasn't bad. read more

I have never been here but my mom wanted to eat Mexican food and my step-father-to-be took us to this restaurant. There are several notes that had led up to this review. Yes, it is Mother-'s Day and we were aware that most restaurants at this time of night would be packed. But the noise level of the kids screaming at the top of their lungs and running through the restaurant had just made me a little deaf. It was about 7:55PM by the time we were seated and ordered our dishes. A family came around 8:10 and they were able to received their food by 8:30. My table on the other hand, waited till almost 8:50 for our orders to come out. My Oven Burrito with carne asada with a side of rice and burritos was a bit too salty for my liking. But I won't let this one dish turn me down from trying their other dishes on the menu. The waiter we had is extremely friendly and made sure we were well served. Too bad I didn't get his name. This restaurant has been nicely designed. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. Once we sat down we got free chips and salsa and they where both good. A word of advice about the menu. They have A LOT of things to order from. My mother and I where both looking at one thing then move on and see other thing and so on and on. So many different plates to choose from! I ordered a enchilada, chili reno, and 2 taquitos plate. It comes with re-fried beans and rice. I liked it all! It was a big plate so I wasn't even able to finish it. The only thing I would say I maybe disliked was the enchilada. It seems like every restaurant has there own way of making it. There's always a different combination of sauce and cheese used. Thus was our first visit to this restaurant. Food was fair. But they had an advertisement on the table that states "buy 1combo and 2drinks, get half off second dinner. " We did get 1 combo and two drinks and the second meal was not a combo, but that is not how the offer is written. We questioned this and the owner or manager insisted we had to get 2 combos. This person did not face us herself but left the waitress to handle the issue. It should state buy 2 combos and two drinks, get one half off. Was a disappointing end to our meal. It was clean, very good, tentative and service was great. Downside was I was there with my 4 yo and she had to go to the bathroom. I looked to see if anyone was around to tell them but I didn't see anyone. I hoped they didn't think we left or threw out our food, they threw out our food lol. But they made it right immediately once I told them we weren't done eating. They apologized and brought out a fresh plate of rice and beans, as that's what I had left over and a whole new meal for my daughter. I've been wanting to try this restaurant and I wasn't too happy with it. First of all my husband ordered taquitos and it came with a tablespoon of guacamole had to pay for some more. I ordered shrimp and fish tacos thinking in probably a healthy choice but the tacos were soggy, it was deep fried shrimp and fish and apparently it was frozen... no flavor at all... Sad to say it but I don't recommend it... at least those dishes. read more

Tried this place out tonight and the food was very good, my only complaints are the place needs music I felt like if we spoke to loud the whole place can hear you and also it would be nice to be greeted as you walk in or acknowledge at least being it was our first time we weren't sure if we had to be seated or seat ourselves so we had to ask one of the customers at a table.. Their Horchata is good, the food comes out hot and it tastes good. I almost filled up on their chips and salsa because the salsa was gooood! Not too hot so you can just keep eating it. I had the shrimp enchiladas and they were tasty. The servers are so nice, and they automatically assume you speak Spanish so be careful. Went to try because I saw Arrachera (skirt steak) on the menu and can't find a lot of places that have it. The Arrachera was good--but it wasn't skirt steak--it was Flap meat, which is near the skirt on the cow but thinner and tougher and not as flavorful. The other two restaurants I used to get it--The Yard House and Eureka! took it off the menu. I'll have to keep looking. Their beans and rice were good though. read more

In my book, if you can't do those two staples authentically, then your not a great Mexican restaurant. They have excellent rice and beans! My fave is the bean & cheese burrito with a fresh homemade tortilla. Simple and yummy. I've tried many of their offerings and I've never been disappointed. The menudo is delicious! Also, the service is great. The ladies there are charming and they sure know how butter up my husband. :) This place is very clean and they have catered a few of my families events with the same great quality & friendliness. THIS was the worst damn burrito I have ever consumed oh my god. It's actually funny. I came here on my lunch break as I work down the street. I got the Shredded Beef Oven Burrito lunch combo thing which comes with beans, rice chips and a soda. Here is a breakdown of that meal: 1. Soda - I ordered a sprite. There was no syrup in the machine. I got fizzy water. They have the good crunchy ice though and I luckily had a can of Sprite in my desk so I wasn't really pressed. 2. Beans - Genuinely good and exactly what I expected! 3. Rice - Genuinely good and exactly what I expected! 4. Chips - umm about 9 corn tortilla chips in one of those waxpaper slip things... no comment really 5. The Burrito - At first, before I finished the beans and rice, it was cool. The beef just tasted like...beef? Flesh? Idk but I wasn't pressed. Now when it came down to just the final half of that burrito and me, I realized that this, was the worst goddamn burrito I'd ever eaten. Like I was dreaming of a beefy 5 layer from Taco Bell with every rough, tasteless, unseasoned, chewy bite. Was there gristle you ask? YOU BET THERE WAS GRISTLE! ALL THE GRISTLE! So, what I've summated... this was definitely .30¢/lb meat that they used annnd if I ever go there again it will only be for the sides and the fact that there are literally like zero other restaurants within a 2 mile radius. read more
