    Cinnamon roll

We stopped at this little shop before going to shelter island and the woman working was so friendly. We got an egg/cheese/bacon bagel, egg/cheese bagel, a vanilla latte, and a cinnamon roll pastry. She also threw in some donut holes which was so nice of her. Everything was yummy but the cinnamon roll pastry was one of the best cinnamon rolls iv ever had so i definitely recommend that!

I would say that the muffins aren't actually marvelous, but everything else was! The friendly service, conveniently open early in the morning, plenty of parking, and the cinnamon roll was top-notch. The muffins could definitely use a crumble on top. Will definitely stop back in next boating day!

She is delightful her smile will light up your day!

There are so many things to love about this delicious muffin, cinnamon rolls, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, yummy coffees and teas! They were just delightful and took amazing care of us and it left a glorious memory of joy!

Came here for a quick breakfast prior to a trip to Cabrillo National Monument. What a cute neighborhood joint for breakfast pastries! I had the sprinkles donut which was delicious and so fluffy. My friend ordered the spinach and cheese croissant which the server heated up for us quickly on the spot, as well as the lemon poppy seed muffin. The muffins here are a great combination of crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, and very flavorful! Prices were very reasonable and service was friendly. Big bonus is easy parking as there is a small parking lot with a handful of dedicated spots for Marvelous Muffins customers. Come here if you're looking for a quick and delicious stop for breakfast!

If you are in San Diego and looking for a good place to get some breakfast, this is the place to go. The food is absolutely amazing and the employees are outstanding. Very quick and kind. This quite honestly might be the best bagel sandwich I've ever had

Location has ample street parking on three sides

SPOILER ALERT: ONE OF THE BEST APPLE FRITTERS IN THE U.S. We stopped by on Saturday, just before closing (12:30ish). There's ample street and lot parking with handicap accessible spaces. They took cash and cards. The eating area was clean and felt like a nice place for a drop in breakfast on a weekend. The server/cashier was very pleasant and there were several options still available, to pair with hot or cold beverages (See photos). I'm not a muffin guy, so I went for the donuts (It's my cheat day). THE APPLE FRITTER IS A TEN! This apple fritter was a cut above: - Perfect portion size for an adult - Drizzled with the traditional powdered sugar glaze, but not overly sweet - Cooked to perfection and lightly crisp along the exterior - Moist inside without being doughy - Cinnamon spread evenly throughout the dough without overpowering it - YOU CAN TASTE APPLES IN EVERY BITE The fritter outperforms the 50 - 100 I've eaten over many years. Most fritters are partially burnt, doughy inside, kissed by an apple, and so hard outside they hurt your mouth. DONUT HOLES - HOLE IN ONE - Pillow soft - Melts in your mouth - Not too sweet - Very pop able! When I'm in San Diego and near this place, it's all about the Apple Fritter (Cheat Day or Not)! Enjoy!

We used to come visit here when we come to San Diego. On this summer day - the restaurant doesn't bave any AC on so it made it a bit uncomfortable to enjoy our desert when it is a bit cooler to sit outside. The other thing that got to me was that the men's restroom was out of service so they did not announce it or anything but the women's bathroom was to be used by both genders but it was crowded so a bit uncomfortable. Service wise we got our deserts and the deserts are still very delicious. We were a larger party and they were able to accommodate and get all of our orders correctly.
