Walking in we were greeted with a hello and advised to let them know if we needed any help or had questions. We found a bunch of selections and were able to look around and feel out some of the models they had. Once we were in there for a bit, "Emerald" came over and asked if she could help. We explained we were just window shopping as we were in need of a new bed but weren't sure what we actually wanted. She told us about some of the models, types of materials and the advantages to them. She was very knowledgeable and super nice. She didn't push us or make us feel pushed to buy or try to sell us things we didn't want which we really appreciated. We liked a certain model and took down the information off of the tag as we were still looking at other places but wanted to have the info. She thanked us for coming in and that was it. We went to one other place after that and it was a nightmare. It was like we were being sold a used car. After an hour at the other place, we were exhausted and went home knowing very well where we would be getting our bed. We were going to go back to Emerald at Mattress World. The next day, we walked in and she remembered us. I right away thanked her for how she interacted with us the day before -vs-other places we had gone. We got to see "Rudy" her furry assistant also and not only did they sell us a mattress but also a box spring, a frame and mattress protector. We told him what we were looking for & what type of bed we didn't really like. From the knowledge we learned at the first store, we knew we wanted a spring mattress not memory foam. So he had us lay on his most popular one. It was a bit out of our price range so he had us try something similar for a lower price & also another one at an even lower price. He also suggested we try the hybrid which is foam on he top layer, spring on bottom. We liked that as well. We narrowed it down to the hybrid & middle price point spring, but in the end chose the spring. We were told that the king size would have to be ordered & that it would take 2 weeks. Delivery was free, unlike the first place we visited. JC was great, he wasn't pushy & we didn't feel pressured to buy it. We got a call in just 1.5 weeks that it was ready. They communicated well the night before the timeframe they'd be coming & when they were about 10 minutes. A very quick easy drop off. Last night was our first night with the bed, & ohhhh it's so nice. Our dog sleeps in our bed & we all have space now without feeling cramped. We had a great nights sleep.
