We went here last night, after running some errands and we were disappointed with the service and the food. We ordered French Dip Sandwich, a cup of Tortilla Soup, a Southwest Chicken & Avocado Salad and a bowl of Country Potato Soap. We patiently waited for our food to be done and were happy when they called my name. We grabbed the bag, headed out the door and made it all the way home before we realized they had not included the sandwich we ordered. I had Theresa call them and I left to go back for it. When I arrived at McAlister's, they did not apologize for the error and in fact, had no clue as to what had happened to our sandwich. They did offer to replace it, but I had been told to get a Four Cheese instead, so I ordered that in it's place. They made me wait for an additional 15 minutes for it to be ready. When I got home, we dug into our meals and the soups were by then cold. I tried to heat them up in the microwave but it just wasn't the same. The salad I ordered was OK, but it did not have a lot of Avocado and the dressing was too sweet. Theresa liked her sandwich. New McAlisters Deli opened 10/21. Clean of course as other reviewer stated..it's new. Professional service, pretty well trained staff. Food is quickly delivered to your table. Chili is pretty good. First time eating here and I ordered through grub hub. I stated on my order No cheese, No regular mayo add chipotle mayo on the side. It asked me also if I would like a pickle and a side. I said yes and a cup of soup. Well I received a sandwich loaded with chipotle mayo on it, No pickle. Not a very great first impression people. I even have their receipt showing clearly what I asked for. It's sad that they want $12 or more for a deli sandwich and they dont care enough to read the ticket plus slop it together. The manager, GM mark is extremely rude and has a nasty attitude. Wouldn't refund me and my food was cold Af and had a blonde hair in it. The cook got smart over her nasty hair in my food. They all look like... dirty. Uniforms all stained up and everyone looks like they took a perc 30 to survive there shift making 8.50 an hour. Idk why they have bad attitudes towards customers when they can just find a new job. The whole restaurant smells like mildew too. Not sure why they don't change the mop head before mopping. We love to come here for a big deli sandwich lunch. We love the harvest chicken salad. It's like no other. The service is always very good. If you get takeout, the wait times are never long. This is a pretty damn good sandwich joint. And it's a chain. A very popular chain that is waaaaay better than most other deli chains I've tried. The Orange Cranberry Club is the bees knees. My group of 6 high school friends (class of '76) met at McAlister's for lunch at 1 pm on Saturday and the joint was jumping! At the time, all the larger tables were full so they offered us the reserved back room area which was marvelous! We had the soundproof room to ourselves and could carry on a conversation without having to talk loud. We each had something different from the menu and all but one of us was thrilled with our meal! I reccomend the New Yorker sandwich with sauerkraut added on and the cucumber tomato salad as a side. Neither will disappoint! The potatoes were large and full of wonderful toppings. The one person in our group who was dissatisfied with her meal had every right to be. She ordered the Any 2 combo meal for which she chose a baked potato and a cup of what appeared to be potato soup. First problem: there was a hair on her plate! Ewwwww. She didn't make a big deal about it and removed the hair. Then she took a bite of soup and it wasn't even warm.
