Was driving through with my girlfriend for a late snack and happened to order a McFlurry as well. There was a problem with the Ice Cream machine. BUT- for the first time in my life, I didn't simply get turned away with a refund. Brian (I think, may have been Ryan) went out of his way to let us know they were having trouble, and asked us to wait, albeit very apologetically. A few minutes later, somebody emerged from the restaurant with our food and the McFlurry. Fries hot, McFlurry secured. I walked into McDonald's at 10230 N 32nd St. in Phoenix (32nd Street and Shea) to order lunch. To my surprise, there is no menu board or cashier in the store! Instead, I see cardboard signs covering what had once been a menu, reading, "Download the app now," "You Faves Faster," and "Let's Get Digital." There was no one in front, and no indication that anyone cared I was there. My phone was in the car, so I could not even call the store to find someone to help from the back. Eventually, a woman came out front to clean and said I must use the kiosk. Kiosks are a nice option sometimes when one is in a hurry, the store is busy, and the cashiers have a long line, but demanding that I use one because McDonald's refuses to provide customer service is unacceptable! If I cannot pay cash or modify my order, I am stuck using the damn thing with no options, and must have a credit card on me! Well, I am not returning to this McDonald's! I realize I am only one person, and my opinion means little to McDonald's, but I refuse to be treated with disrespect and poor customer service just so they can save a buck on labor costs! Clearly under staffed as they didn't have the 1st window open. I ordered a 4 piece chicken nuggets Happy Meal, a combo 2A, and milkshake. The "customer service" person was anything but. She appeared VERY grumpy, not social, did not greet us, and, was wearing her American flag mask UNDER her chin. I declined a receipt, you know, trying to save the planet. We get home to discover we didn't even get the chicken nuggets!!! My fries were also cold. So, I called to let them know. This woman said without a receipt, they can't do anything about it! Close to the house we often go here. Typically folks are speedy in the drive through, however check your bag as items are often missed. Inside usually has dirty tables and a messy drink station. These little attention to detail items make it hard to enjoy your experience. Food is usually fine once you get it. It is McDonalds and well while not a 5 star dining experience should be hitting the basics. read more

I stop here frequently to pick up snacks for my mother. She loves their cokes, etc. I am absolutely done with the awful quality of their fries every time. I think they give drive thru customers the old fries and sometime even try to refry them to heat them back up. Truly a disappointment every time. Two stars since the chicken is usually edible, but not near as good as the McDonald's near my home. Horrible. I placed a curbside order and waited 20 mins before finally walking inside. They don't give a crap how long they take. After 10 more minutes of waiting, I asked them to cancel my order and I left. I reported it to corporate and even corporate wouldn't refund me and directed me to the store location. A location that never answers the phone and doesn't care if you get your order or not. I will have to report fraud to my bank as my only recourse to get refunded for food never received. The kicker is this is not the first time this has happened, but it IS the longest I waited before giving up. I will never go here again and I don't think anyone should waste their time and money. The fries were hard-- no crispy but hard and we ordered extra onions on the burgers and even through the wrappers were tagged for extra o ions we got no onions at all. There are a lot of bad reviews for this McDs but I was happy with it overall. I had a craving for a Q pounder with cheese and fries. Both tasted great and the manager was nice about putting in more fries after I said it didn't look filled up. I also had a delicious vanilla ice cream in a cup(I asked for it in a cup not a cone and the Manager obliged). I did takeout and the placed looked clean and well located on 32nd st off the 51 freeway. I subtract one star for high prices for fast food. Recommended. read more

No stars needs to be an option for this place. Drive-thru maintenance is non-existent, the staff is rude, and the "fast" part of fast food is completely lost. There's absolutely no reason why it should take ten minutes sitting AT the order menu, for someone to take an order, while the other line moves and skips everyone else. The fries are NEVER fresh, and they only fill them about 3 quarters of the way. So basically you're paying for a large and getting a medium. At the 10230 N 32nd St Phoenix, AZ McDonalds Drive thru, while placing an order for a Happy meal and a Chicken Nugget meal the cashier was oddly abrupt in cutting off my sentences twice to prompt me for both the Happy Meal beverage choice and the meal size details - zero cars in front or behind me. I requested extra pickles for my daughters happy meal hamburger, and didnt receive a response at which point I realized this was a behavioral issue or poor attitude with the order taker. I was then asked to drive to 1st window. The cashier was polite enough with payment. I proceeded to the 2nd window. I waited for 4-5minutes before the drive thru attendant opened the window. She handed me our food and informed me there was no Coca-Cola this afternoon. She asked if Id like something else. I was now frustrated - the equivalent of being out of fries at McDonalds in my opinion. I asked if the happy meal burger had extra pickles. She checked the monitor and told me most likely not as it wasnt noted. I then asked to speak with the manager. A few minutes later I hear - Whats the Problem? Shouted from the drive thru window - I was being confronted! The manager Jessica was visibly upset with me. I asked her for a refund. I also asked her if the McDonald training standard advises her to confront customers with Whats the Problem? . She informed me the regional manager trains them to deliver 12 second drive thru ticket times and thats their priority. I didnt want to further engage a pointless conversation, I received my refund and drove my daughter to the next closest McDonalds on 4505 E Cactus road where they had Coca-Cola were polite, repeated the extra pickles order with an emphatic confirmation and delivers all in less than 2 minutes. Simple business if you get 1 thing right - a cared for customer is a forgiving customer. It always starts at the top. read more

This is truly the worst McDonald's in that area, which is surprising because there are a few McDonald's close to it that are a LOT better. Essentially any and every time you come here either you get treated rudely, have to wait a ridiculously long time, and all the other trashy restaurant norms. I have come here multiple times with a code on the app, the code won't work for whatever reason, instead of being respectful or offering to do something about the problem they just shoo you off. Which is hilarious because the location on Tatum and Bell will always help you out if a code isn't working. Sad to say I live less than a mile away from here and prefer driving 5-15 minutes away just to go to a different McDonald's. Avoid this one if you value your time. read more

Just got done eating a 25 doller order from this location and i have a few things to say. 1. Amazing staff and communication between staff and customers and kept me in contact how long my order will be and ask bout if i needed sause. 2. I ask for everything to be fresh and i knew it would take a bit to make everything and I'm ok with that. 10 min it took and i wanna shout out to the crew thanking them for time management. Now for the cons: Everything was good besides the double cheeseburgers. I specifically ask for everything to be fresh. They gave me old fries and old burgers. I've been going to this McDonalds since I was a kid, so it pains me to write this. I know prices have gone up recently, and I get it, everyone has to make ends meet, but this is straight up stealing- I order my usual #1 with a large Dr Pepper, and I was also feeling the new Grandma McFlurry too. I get my order at the drive thru window and didn't really think into it, I'm not one that checks the bag to ensure it's correct, I figure they have a pretty good system down so why hold everything up. I get the McFlurry and it's only 2/3 full (seen in the picture), I was a little bit put off by this so I took a picture. But the real kicker was when I got home and opened up the bag. The fries were less than half full, and no, they weren't all at the bottom of the bag- I straight up got stolen from (when you're given less than the advertised amount, it's stealing from the consumer). I found this highly unethical and just wrong on a personal level so I also took a picture of it. Had I checked the bag in the drive thru I would have said something- but I hope this McDonalds ups their quality control because this is just poor business. read more

Disgusting!!!! I stopped by today to get a quick bite for my family. Burgers and sandwiches were fine but my bad review is about the fries and happy meal. Fries were so old we tasted the cold nasty oil, you would expect good fries after paying almost $4 dlls for a large size. My biggest complaint is the happy meal, I ordered for my toddler, specifically I said chicken nuggets with apple slices. When I got home I gave my kid the whole box since it was the first time he was going to have a happy meal. Next thing I see is he taking a bite of a cheese burger!! He is very allergic to dairy.
