This place is the epitome of a stealership. Bad injector caused my A3 to start sputtering so I had it towed here. Also figured I'd have the airbag recall done at the same time. Inquired about a loaner since I had to get back to work. Denied. Quoted me $1800 for One injector replacement along with a new battery. Took all of me to not laugh in the service advisor's face. Dead battery? Hmmmm that's odd, my battery was fine until it got into the hands of these scumbags. After wasting most of my day with these crooks, I end up taking my car to an independent mechanic (who charged me $1200 for a replacement set of all four OEM injectors/new battery). Oh and the airbag recall? Of course it didn't get done in the six hours my car sat on McKenna's lot. So I go with Circle Audi in Long Beach. Not only were they courteous and prompt (recall was done in less than two hours), but I was also given a new A5 loaner vehicle. read more

Very pleasant buying experience at McKenna. I came in on a Sunday night and they were a little short staffed, but the manager, Johnny, made sure someone would take care of me. He had the technologist, Edgar, show me the A5 Sportback that I had seen on their website. Edgar was super helpful and friendly even though he wasn't a salesperson! When it came time to talk numbers, I talked to the salesperson, Jeremy, who was also very friendly. I didn't feel any pressure to buy. I had already done my homework and I felt McKenna was very competitive with their prices and were genuinely trying to get me the best deal they could. Wow how times are changing and business want you to pay their fee for using credit cards. I just serviced my car at McKenna and when I was about to pay they said that I had to pay an additional 3% if I wanted to pay with my credit card or if I don't want to pay the transaction fee I could use my debit card. In addition, the service they wanted me to get is over 5k. Can you imagine paying that amount and then an addition 3%? I was so upset I called another dealer and my car is going in for another point inspection and what ever works it needs I don't have to pay an additional 3% fee for using my credit card. McKenna Norwalk has always done me wrong; overpriced and all about commission for their technicians. read more

If your dealer was stupid enough to do a trade to get a car with the options I wanted without me giving you any signed agreement, credit check authorization/credit application, or even a deposit then that's your dumb fault. I haven't even given you a verbal commitment that I'm buying the car from you, why would you do all that? Please also don't tell me that "There was a factory rebate we were able to offer you that would have saved additional money" because that's not was discussed. Your guy was very nice until I told him I bought the car from somewhere else. Then he became a little baby. The real problem besides being a bunch of cry babies is that when a customer ends up buying a car from another dealer is that you lie to make it sound like you've done so much for me and I didn't live up to my end of the deal. Edgar answers all my questions and is always super responsive which I HIGHLY appreciate! I was really set on getting either a Lexus or Audi, but I found that Lexus cars didn't have all the amenities I wanted, and at around the same price. Audi had them all standard in their vehicles. My brain told me Lexus, but my heart told me Audi. In the end I don't regret my decision! I got a used 2021 Audi A4 Premium Plus Quattro (and it was so worth it). read more

Took my 2013 A4 in several times to have service and recalls done. Excellent service advisors, though often, they would notify me of certain wear-and-tear items on my vehicle that need attention, but they were always different from each visit. (i.e., one visit they said brake pads were low and brake fluids were black; next visit, they said brake pads had enough life in them and the brake fluids were fine... and other little things like that.) Nice little gift shop and coffee shop in the Audi showroom, although for food, there is also a cafe over at the BMW building. If servicing your vehicle and you decide to stay at the dealership, ask the service advisors if they can provide you a meal voucher to redeem a free meal. Also to note, courtesy cars are no longer handed out by McKenna as before; they now contract Enterprise to provide rental vehicles instead. read more

Last week I had a scheduled service to get my recalls done. At the time I made the appointment, I failed to ask how long the service would take. However, the representative never advised me how long it would take either. One the day of the appointment after they took my car back, still no one mentioned how long this service would take and after all the paperwork was completed the service rep Luis says okay I'll call you a Uber. They got me a Uber because the service was going to take 6 hours and they had no loaner cars at 8AM in the morning. Long story short the communication was not there and no one seemed to care. Once my Uber brought me back at the end of the day it still took them another 20 mins to bring the car and no one walked me to my car and let me know what was done or even a thank you for coming the girl at the desk just gave me my paperwork. Regardless of them knowing I was upset that was a very rude way to end with a customer. I'll never go to them again. read more

I arrived at McKenna Audi on time for my 7:30am appointment the 2 Porters they had to ope the gate did not do so until 7:34 once I drove in the process was good I met Allen the Service Advisor due to my regular Advisor not arriving yet, Allen was GREAT! I finished with Allen and he advised me that their was mot a loaner available but he would give me a rental as per my appointment. Allen said Enterprise arrives at 8am I said I understand. Enterprise did not arrive until until 8:28am I felt that Audi did not have any sense of urgency at all. Having to wait for so long is unacceptable the Enterprise lady was Pregnant and did not say good morning or any apologies for being late I get the rental car it has less than a tank of gas and the oil light is on. My experience in purchasing the car was a month long making. It started with a simple text inquiring about A5 price. Jane responded to my inquiry and was extremely helpful. We have been texting on and off for a month. After a month, I finally decided and made an appointment. Upon arrival, she had the A4 parked in the front. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone in the market for a used vehicle. It was my first time shopping for a vehicle, as I've lived in New York for several years and did not require a car of my own. Being a first time buyer I did much research and had looked at similar vehicles at other local dealerships. Both the general manager and Sales associate (Alex) were demeaning and talked down to both my mother in I in the process of getting information on the car. Alex insinuated my being a first time buyer correlated with me having poor credit, but that was quite the contrary. Before my appointment at the dealer I had done much research on the car I was choosing to test drive, and already looked at the carfax report. When asking Alex clarifying questions on the vehicle it was evident he was making up answers as he went and didn't quite know what he was talking about. Overall a truly poor sales experience. I would recommend anyone save yourself the time and energy and take your business elsewhere.
