We purchased a vehicle from Porsche, working with Ali. The enthusiasm and responsiveness ended the second the paperwork was signed. Ali promised merchandise as part of the deal. Once the sale was finalized, it was radio silence. No follow-up. No shipment. No accountability. We had to repeatedly call and chase both Ali and the manager just to get the bare minimum response. It was exhausting and completely unacceptable for a dealership representing a luxury brand. When the package finally arrived, it was insulting. The promised keychain was missing. The T-shirt was the wrong size. The tumbler looked like it was tossed in a box without a second thought. No care. No quality check. No attention to detail. Just sloppy and careless. At this point, it's not about a keychain or a shirt. It's about integrity. If something so small can't be handled properly, it makes you question everything else. The lack of communication and follow-through feels dishonest and dismissive. For a brand that prides itself on precision and excellence, this experience was the complete opposite. TLDR: Look for Salman (Sam) Ali, that's who you want to be working with. Wanted to give a huge shoutout to Sam (Salman) Ali for the wonderful white glove service today (and Calvin as well but really Sam is who closed the deal for us!) We had worked with two other Porsche dealers for a few days and hit so many roadblocks (for example: lack of attention to important details such as making sure a car was actually on the lot when we arrived) that I was sure I wasn't going to get the car I wanted. My family and I have been through alot of different cars over 25+ years. we have many different cars: honda, toyota, lexus, volkswagen, audi, porsche. My brother and I work in the auto industry for aftermarket parts so we can say we are experts in car related stuffs. Not exactly car repair but car related knowledges, bodyshop connections, big brand connections and etc. We never bring our cars to the dealership for services unless we are covered under warranty. Why? because we know the dealership repair department always lies and recommends you fix something that you don't have to fix and spend money you don't need to spend. We also know a lot of dealerships would "do the service" for you but in the end, I or other people/shop find out they never did their job. This place is no different. my older brother owns a cayenne. again, as I mentioned, we don't bring it in because we know their tricks. A couple of weeks ago, there was a recall so my brother took it in ( ONLY BECAUSE IT WAS A RECALL ). other than the recall, I guess they took a look at the car and recommends a few areas that need to get fixed because they are damaged. Well well well, we ignored their recommendations but we took the list of items back to the shop we go all the time. The mechanics there took a look and were like "are they are a joke? none of the stuff needed to repair. Maybe one of the areas needs to revisit later on but the things they mentioned are something you don't need to fix or it is still drivable with no issue. This is not the first time. A couple of years for whatever reason, my brother decided to bring it in to check on the brakes and the dealer told them he needs to change the brake rotors. FUNNY thing was, he just changed the brake rotor lol so my brother told them about this and they changed their story and said ohhh not the front, but the back. Of course, we didn't fix it and took it to another place and check, guess what? we didn't need to change it and he drove it for another 10k with no issues. There are a number of times we can seek legal counsel and show other people how not trustworthy is this place but we don't want to waste time and money onto this place so rather than taking action, we decide to just be smart and not let them trick us and take advantage of us. I UNDERSTAND ALOT OF CUSTOMERS FROM HERE ARE EITHER RICH OR THEY DON'T REALLY PAY ATTENTION TO HOW ACCURATE ON WHAT THEY RECOMMEND ON REPAIRS buttttttttttt PLEASE ALWAYS CHECK WITH 2-3 SHOPS BEFORE YOU DECIDE ON REPAIRING SOMETHING THEY RECOMMEND. I CAN GUARANTEE YOU 7 OUT OF 10 TIMES, THEY THINGS THEY RECOMMEND YOU ARE JUST THINGS THEY WANT YOU TO SPEND MONEY ON NOR JUST TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU NOT CHECKING AND TRUSTING THEM 100% I'm sure if all the customers that go to other places and check what they list as their recommendation for repair, 70% of you would leave a bad review for this place. I got my 2023 Taycan at McKenna Porsche! I'd like to take this opportunity to let you know about my personal experience. The location in overall is getting a 4 of 5 star review from me, the reason they didn't get a 5 star is because the 1st sales rep was not as responsive as I would have liked. I felt like I was begging him to sell me a car. (I went in knowing very well that my excellent credit rating, income and debt to income ratio were well qualified) but I feel the sales rep assigned to me on day one took one look a my relaxed wear and made his own decision in his head and put me on the back burner. After 2-3 days I asked for a new sales rep. From there on out my husband and I worked with Alex Yorba and had a really great experience with him. There was one more thing that disappointed me that had nothing to do with Alex, when we picked up the car we had asked for the car to be detailed, although it was a brand new car there was the battery issue that needed to be corrected. The car was not detailed. I will say I'm a little OCD so maybe it was detailed by someone not as OCD as me. So.... Recently Sam came to our home to walk me thru all of the components for the PCM, he is very knowledgeable and provides some great tips on all the gadgets for this car. Thank you! Lastly, we have scheduled the car for a check up since I'm experiencing some concerns. (Nothing to do with Alex or Sam) Anyhow, Alex and Sam have been great! I will never take either of my Porsche's to McKenna service again. For the last several years McKenna Porsche has done my annual service, never an issue. My 2014 Boxster just turned 47,000 miles and I scheduled this years service and dropped my car off, Isaac was the advisor. I truly wish my car was never in his hands. He told me my car would be ready late Monday and I asked if I could pick up Tuesday morning, he said ok. It was not ready which is ok, finally ready Wednesday Isaac said it was ready.When I got into my car the yellow exclamation point was on and I paragraph of words, I went to Isaac who told me, "they forgot to reset and I'll be back in 10 minutes". How was my car brought forward with the warnings on the dash? I drove back to my office then home after work, the next morning my car would not start, just 17 hours after I picked my car up! My car has never not started! I took it back to McKenna Porsche and Isaac told me "will know something in the morning", late that day Isaac called me saying, "it's starting every time for us, the light is not flickering, we do not know what it is, we suggest that we start replacing the least expensive things, let's start with the ignition", I asked how much then said "no, I will come get my car. If I had never taken my Porsche to McKenna for this service my car would be 100% fine. Danny McKenna says when you call service "if we have dropped the ball please text me..."
