super tasty！AUTHENTIC!! my favorite shop in LA! I've been searching for jianbing guozi 煎饼果子 for a long time. They either too old-school, too dry to 'swallow' or not enough taste for a foodie like me. Try the roasted duck. Feels like I'm back in Beijing! If you are more of a elegant style, the foie gras. You'll be amazed how oriental food can take in such western accent. When I visited the first time, the owners were helping to make sure the customers get the full experience. Nice ladies. I would definitely recommend this shop. read more

For the first time, I ordered to go and ate a lamb crepe from ME+Crepe Pasadena restaurant on this past Friday around 3:30pm, November 18th. Within 4 hrs. I was violently sick. I vomited 5 times before midnight and 4 more times during the night. I had no symptoms of any other sickness. I had to visit urgent care and wait 3 1/2 hrs. to be examined by a doctor. The staff did not have good food handling procedures, using the same gloves for money and directly touching food. This indicates a lack of care by the staff, which could explain why I received bad meat. read more

It was only a few months ago that I read an article on jianbing in China and remembered having one when I was a kid--I said to myself 'I wish we had something like that here'. This is not a traditional European style crepe, it's distinctly Asian and more of a 'with your hands' kind of food. I had the Double-Down which is sliced pork and duck and it was so delicious. I wanted something that was more savory rather than leaning towards sweet and it did not disappoint. The spiciness wasn't too bad and the medium was actually quite mild for my taste so I'll amp it up a bit next time. I have been expecting to this place for a long time since I know it's gonna open. When I finally got it in my hand and ate it, I realized that all waiting and expectation are worthwhile. The selection of ingredients and unique taste are awesome, and is very worthy for waiting in the store. The food such as pancakes seems simple, but if you do it well, it is not easy; creativity, techniques, materials, ingredients, etc. all need to be excellent. And this store has figure it out, which is why so many Chinese stars, came to here directly when they got off the plane. Also, it is very hard for a store to improve a traditional Chinese food, to adapt to the people from all of the world. But, here is successful again. This undoubtedly sees the wisdom and care of the store, the various good raw materials on the menu, so that the food seems to be simple is suddenly more graded. Besides, I have never commented on any store in Yelp, but I decided to use this as the first time. I would like to recommend the two flavors of pork ribs and sausages. I feel that life is more beautiful and world peace after I finished =). read more

The crepe here is excellent and very authentic. Really excited to try this place finally and it did not disappoint!!

At first, I was worried that it would be too salty based on previous reviews. BUT, you can adjust for amount of Bing Sauce you want. I asked for less sauce and it was PERFECT! I got the Fricasse Rib crepe without any hot sauce ( you can adjust spice level too!) and the ribs were super flavorful on their own. The wait was a little long and there weren't many tables open so I just watched them make crepes in the kitchen which was cool too. If you want hot soy milk, they microwaved it up for you in a plastic pitcher ......not sure if that is very safe but I'll go with cold soy milk next time. So hard to find a good Chinese crepe place in LA so definitely coming back next time! read more

I drove 40 mins and looking forward to have lunch hope the expectation will be like reviews, but I am so disappointed. First of all, this is a fast food restaurant. You order and check out everything same If you go to a McDonald's. However, at the end of the check out, screen will ask you to leave tips. Even the cashier pointed the tip percentage selection like it was a mandatory thing. If you want tip, at least get a waitress who trained to serve your customer. Second, I really surprised that a simple Chinese creep with 1 extra top can be like more than $10. Last be not least, this place is tiny as duck. People have to walk so slow to pass by each other and tables. The whole experience was just horrible. I will never come back again and I'll make sure all my friends know this read more

Yummy crepes that are definitely very interesting compared to other Chinese restaurants around. I like that there's a twist on the traditional Chinese crepe here and you can also create your own. We tried the double down and the make your own crepe (adding dry pork flakes and pickled mustard). Both were really good (I loved the chili and the special sauce!). If I'm nitpicking the double down was a little oily. Medium spicy was perfect. We got one combo with the tea egg and soy milk, both of which went great with the crepe. Only drawbacks for me are the price (although I like that they have daily specials!) and that the fried donut wasn't as crispy as it could've been. I'd come back! read more

I went here two days in a row while at a convention in Pasadena; easy walking distance from the convention center, and much better food than some of the generic chains in that area. There aren't many tables, but I managed to get a seat both times. I got the original crepe (with egg) both times, medium spicy, but strangely it tasted a bit different each time. Both times delicious, though! You eat it by hand - it comes in a paper container that you fold down as you eat it. It got pretty messy by the end, but that was totally fine. Jianbing is one of my favorite street foods when I go to China, so this was a total treat! read more

The food was not good at all. The sausage crepe i ordered had a strange oder to it that i did not like. Also the Spam noodle with egg thing was missing Spam on most pieces. It was like 10 dollars for 4 tiny pieces and it was missing spam on top of it. It was a rip off and did not taste good in the first place. Tried this place today on the recommendation of a friend and had been trying to come here but they have limited hours and so since I was off work today, I decided to come. The food was delicious. Sounded a bit odd - duck in a crepe?? But what a novel idea. It was a crispy crepe which made it even better. It was pretty big too- couldn't finish it all. Very flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning. The staff was was very friendly and personable, which makes for an even better dining experience. Also had the soy milk (free with first check in) and a tea egg (for leaving this yelp review). The soy milk actually balanced out the dish nicely. Just saw this place on my way back to my car. Love trying new things so I decided to check it out. Place is nicely decorated and cozy. Food is served on wooden trays. Good food takes a bit longer to prepare, so there's a little bit of a wait. The crepe reminds me of the one I got from a street vendor in Taiwan once.
