This is a great egg crepe place in Pasadena, would highly recommend if you want something authentic and delicious. The peking duck egg crepe was what they're known for, and it doesn't disappoint. They make it once you order it so everything is fresh for you to eat. I never could have imagined eating duck like this, but the way it's done is perfect. All the flavors from the duck and sauce blended beautifully with the rest of the ingredients. The interior is super relaxing and makes it feel like you could chill there for hours. The food didn't take too long to get out so you're not left hungry for too long.

The only item I tried from this place is the Peking Duck Crepe. I asked for the sauce on the side as I don't like a huge amount of hoisin type sauce - it overtakes the duck in my opinion. The crepe has a large amount of duck in it. The only thing I miss is the more crispy skin. There is no way to maintain prime crispiness in a wrap so I get the trade offs. The crepe has sesame seeds in it which i enjoyed, as well as the greens in the wrap. They had the roasted chili oil sauce, which is my favorite. It goes well iwth the wrap. I got take out and service was fast and friendly.

Great stop for a quick lunch or dinner. It's a small cozy place probl better as take out. Also the air filter is not the best. Prepared to smell like crepe for a while if you eat in.

Crepe is authentic!! Highly recommended! Peking style. Roast duck crepe with egg and lettuce is the best!

Quiet, fresh Chinese donut and a soothing bowl of congee in this rainy weather, and all for ~$8?! A dream come true.

Peking duck Jianbing aka crepe hit the spot. Chill inside literally and figuratively which was perfect for a hot LA day. Fast casual counter service makes it super easy. Chinese food that's unique and delicious!

I happened to walk by this place and saw all the types of crepes I could get right outside the window. It was nice that they had the menu and pictures of what the crepes would look like. I ordered the ham and lettuce! It's was crispy in the middle which I really liked. I'm unsure about parking since I was at the Pasadena Convention Center, but it's a quick walk. I forgot to take a pic of my actual crepe as I ate it so fast, but it's a pretty good size. The spot had great AC and was clean. The guy at the front was friendly as well. I'll be back tomorrow actually! Yay!

Such a nice place for snack in pasadena and cozy places too! I would love to be back here again if ever i was on the area!

    Peking Duck Jian Bing

Walking around town with my girlfriend and stumbled on such a delicious spot. Ordered the Peking Duck Jian bing and original savory tofu soup and both were so good. Tasted just like Asia! The lady behind the desk was so nice asking us to split our Jian bing. Affordable, Amazing service and delicious food. The cafe just had no music so we ate in silence. LOL

I loveee this place so much!! I have only ever purchased the Taro Cheese Salty Yolk Seaweed Meat Floss crepe, which I literally do not plan on changing that, aka I will only ever buy that one. It's sooo delicious and combines sweet and savory flavors perfectly. I truly don't understand why it's not popular, in fact it might be the least popular crepe at the restaurant. but I don't care because it's so tasty and I really hope they never discontinue it. if you've been on the fence about trying this flavor, THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO GET IT!!!

Good jianbing and soy bean milk. Would be better if it can come with more sauce. The environment is also good and the location is easy to find

Unfortunately, it's nothing like Joy. Parking wasn't too easy on a weekday afternoon. We had to park across the street on a residential street. But, hey, parking at Joy is a pain too. Maybe that's a good sign. We walked in. No line (unlike Joy). But the layout and ordering system is very much like Joy. They even have the cooler with drinks to the right when you walk in the door. Some of the menu items sounded similar to Joy, so we were pretty excited to give them a try. I went for the vegan tofu over rice and a side cucumber/tofu salad. My wife ordered the pork belly over rice and the chicken wings. We both also got a black cold-brew coffee. The total: $68.51. Oof. I think Joy is cheaper. Food came out quickly, just like Joy. The cucumber salad had baked tofu in it (rather than tofu skin), and the cucumbers were just chopped up into tiny pieces, rather than smashed, which is the way I prefer it. While there was supposed to be chili-crisp oil on it, it was actually pretty bland. Meh. Next for me came the (vegan) tofu over rice. It included some pickled vegetables, which kind overpowered the dish. It was a strange choice. I've had pickled vegetables with Chinese food before (my wife is from Hong Kong), but these kind of overpowered the dish. It also included some carrots, which I think were also pickled, giving the dish a sort of Vietnamese vibe, but not in a good way. It was pretty much all I could taste. Adding a little chili oil helped balance the flavors a bit, but not much. As a pescatarian, I couldn't try my wife's dish. But it was basically the same as mine, and she was just as underwhelmed. She said the chicken wings were the best part of her meal, but they certainly weren't amazing. In conclusion, the chicken wings were OK and the cold-brew coffee was delicious. I think this place is mostly catering to average white hipsters who come for the vibe, rather than people looking for authentic Taiwanese street food. I really wanted to like this place, because it does have a cool vibe, and everyone working there seems nice. But unlike Joy, this meal just made me sad.

Bowls of steamed rice cost $2.50, and we each got one. Portions are generously large and worth the cost; we took leftovers home. The tea offered to us tasted good. The slippery shrimp had a nice crisp with a pleasant blend of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors. There's a slight spice from the red chili that felt mild on my tongue. This was our first time trying out the dish, and we liked it the most. The orange chicken tasted solid, and it had a slightly crispy texture. For some reason, the rice had an aftertaste I wasn't familiar with, but it was still fresh. There was a fortune cookie at the end of our meal. I'd come back for the slippery shrimp and order something other than the orange chicken. The restaurant opened at 11:30 am, and we were one of the first customers to dine in. The ambience was quiet and relaxed, but they got busier as many more people arrived. Service was good as the staff packed our leftovers in containers for us. Our server asked us where we were from as he was used to seeing regulars during the time we visited. We did wait about an hour, but honestly I didn't mind at all because it gave us a chance to relax, talk, and catch up as a family. Once we were seated, my parents were immediately impressed with the decor: elegant and cultural without feeling overly modern or cold. And can we talk about the tea kettles? They looked like literal pieces of art being poured at the table. Ordering was super easy with the QR code system, so my husband handled the whole spread: shumai dumplings, chicken feet, sesame balls, and more. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The ENTIRE table agreed on one thing: the chili oil condiment deserves to be sold in bottles to take home. It was that good. Smoky, just the right amount of spicy, and addictive. Now for the real test: my in-laws. They've been to *many* dim sum places and are not easily impressed. They declared this place to have the best chicken feet that they've ever had: meat easily sucked off the bone, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and perfectly seasoned. High praise coming from dim sum veterans. Most importantly, my parents' first dim sum experience couldn't have been better. They loved everything from the ambiance to the food to the overall experience. My husband and I want to come back to explore more of the menu because there's clearly so much more to try
