Too bad this is the closest Taiwanese dessert place from my house. Fortunately, I have a lot of options in Bellevue, so I will not be going back to this place despite its proximity to my house. I waited patiently for 15 minutes and finally asked the workers how long till my order will come since those who have ordered after me have all gotten their orders. He told me that they had lost my order. He did not apologize, and what's worse, he told his co-worker, and what did she do? She laughed! I asked for a refund and bolted out of there to avoid having to regret expressing my anger and disappointment with their service and unprofessionalism. Meet Fresh is located inside Lake Hills Village. The place is easy to find and has ample parking available. The place is okay, but just too expensive for my liking. You could buy a lunch plate for the same price. I'm surprised nobody else brought this up, but the place smells musty when you first get inside the door. The manager piled on same heavy items on a tray, not balancing the items. As soon as I lifted the tray an inch or so from the counter, the 2 lighter items toppled off the tray. Sold me melted ice. I placed my order through grubhub, and waited full 30 mins before I picked up my strawberry shaved ice. During the wait my order actually came out but the worker at the counter forgot even though I checked with her twice. When asked third time she finally realized it's been sitting there for 20 minutes, but didn't apologize and just handed them to me. I had this purple rice with like peanuts and there mocha balls. A regular soup bowl size but for that size is about 8$, id say on the pricier side. But their shaved ice is so big! I had tofu with mini taro balls. It was okay. I wish it's a little bit sweeter. It's dessert, so when it's not sweet enough, it taste bland. Also, the size of the bowl is super big. Taste of home! So glad that Meetfresh opened shop in the area. The quality of their shaved ice is certainly good, but what you must try is the taro mochi, which have a fantastic texture. My favorite to get here is the grass jelly shaved ice and taro mochi. I have also tried the shaved ice with taro and boba and found the balance of shaved ice and topping to be unbalanced. Ironically there was just too much topping for the shaved ice, so half way through I ran out of shaved ice and was just eating boba and taro, which was not as enjoyable. read more

A Meet Fresh in the Pacific Northwest! I came in with my family Saturday night and the place was packed. My hubby and I have gone to the location in Arcadia, CA so this place reminded him of home. I really like that it is located in small plaza so plenty of parking. We usually order the icy signature bowl with the grass jelly and boba. Sweet, but not too sweet. The cream gave a nice color to the bowl. Their portion size was fairly generous probably more than the one in Cali. We will be making frequent visits here for desserts in the near future. read more

This was easily a 4 star Asian dessert place when they first opened. I enjoyed their ice grass jelly and shaved ice selections but unfortunately the quality of their food has been slipping. The past couple of shaved ice with the QQ mochi has been extremely sweet. I mentioned that it was much sweeter than my previous visit and gave the employee feedback. I tried months again and I guess it's just supposed to be overly sweet (at least until you make it to the bottom of the shaved ice). I came today to go back to the icy jelly but they gave me cream that was hardened. This was to go and the cream had expired in February. I'll be taking a long break from visiting again. The portions are huge and everything is really good. Some things are seasonal though which the menu doesn't say. The syrup to ice ratio isn't the best for the shaved ice. You need more syrup other wise you're just eating a mountain of ice. But everything there is awesome. The teas are okay, very strong not sweet so you need to ask them to make it sweet if you want it. Other than that it's a cute little hole in the wall in a small shopping plaza good place to go on a late night. read more
