Usually a bit difficult to find parking but there is a parking garage which can guarantee you a spot instead of spending time driving around looking for a spot close by. Lines here are pretty long but can go fairly quickly because they have 2 self serve kiosk plus 2 in person registers. If you plan to go around night time for late night dessert, waits can get up to 30 mins for ordering and receiving order. You will receive a text when your order is ready to be picked up at their counter. Bad thing is most of these tables are self served so they can be icky - highly recommend having someone wipe down these tables after uses. I created my own - hot tofu pudding with mochi, sesame balls, taro balls, and red bean. I really wanted the almond pudding as a base but they were out of that. Waited 30-40 minutes for an oolong tea with boba and less sugar. I came in right before there was a huge rush, maybe 2-3 people were in front of me at the kiosk. The place was generally empty, people were just chilling so I was expecting at most a 10 min wait. At the 30 min mark, I asked where my order was and they noted that everyone needs to wait at least 40 min since they're busy. This was true but I came before the rush. We noticed the self-service kiosk was the preferred method of ordering and highly encouraged, but it did not have all of the menu items. In fact, it had a limited selection. Just take a peak at the menu wall-there are a ton of items, and each item is just like 1 ingredient different from each other. This doesn't help the already slow service. One side is the Meet Fresh desserts side, and the other side is a drinks counter (Tea Chansii). They no longer allow ordering at the counter, so there are 2 machines you can order on. One time I waited 20 minutes as the next person in line to order when I walked in. The parties at each of the machines could not decide what they wanted, so they were taking quite sometime. Once they decided, they could not figure out how to checkout/pay. I felt a bit bad for them. Honestly, if I was not picking up something for my mom, I would have left. One time when I was ordering at the farther machine, this man was making a lot of noises behind me-physically unhappy that I has taken more than 5 minutes to make my selections, but this was because the machine was stuck and wouldn't let me pay. He then proceeded to walk over and started yelling at me while pushing me out of the way to mess with the screen himself. Mind you, this was at the height of COVID. Not great. There are also items on the menu that are not on the machine, for example there did not seem to be egg puffs on the menu. They might have fixed it by now, but I'm not sure. There is a lot of seating inside, which is nice. **I didn't add this originally, but the owner's response to my review reminded me of how rude the employees here are. For example, I mentioned before I was accosted by an angry man, I looked over at the employees who were watching the incident unfold and at one point I had called out for someone to help me, at the very least with the machine. I've come to this Meet Fresh pretty frequently and have had an awesome experience. I usually share the black sugar boba milky shaved ice which is a really unique dessert. I have not been to this place for several years and decided to visit it on a hot day. Ordered one of their signature dishes which I used to enjoy. I was so disappointed with the quality of the dish that I'm writing this review while I'm trying to finish it. The amount of the shaved ice was so little that it melted after a few bites and I ended up eating an iced water dish which became lukewarm after a few minutes as the ingredients were at room temperature as they should normally be so they would not be hardened. The trays they served the dishes in were wet with water such that I had to dry my hands with a napkin. I have not experienced this kind of service at a decent restaurant. And you have to eat with a flimsy spoon meant for takeout - years ago they served with a real spoon. Definitely will not come back again. read more
