I hadn't been to Meet Fresh in a while, so I finally went back last week. We ordered a Q Mochi Milk Shave Ice with extra boba and taro balls which they're known for. I was pleasantly surprised by how much better it tasted now compared to before, especially with ice cream. I'm usually not a fan of their milk base desserts, but it was a lot sweeter and creamier when you added ice cream. I enjoyed all the toppings it came with and was definitely a good dessert to get after a long day. The place wasn't as crowded as when it first opened. I love the Meet Fresh near our house in SoCal, so was excited to stop by this location when we were visiting family in the Bay Area. This location is HUGE and a great place to stop by if you have a big group. There is plenty of seating and even a small park area in the back. All of the orders were through self service stations, and there were a multitude of signs in sheet protectors taped all over alerting customers that certain items weren't available at certain times. That was a bummer and didn't seem very professional. Overall we had a solid time there but were disappointed in the quality of the drinks/snacks, especially compared to other locations. read more

Super sad came here multiple times but every visit seems to get worse. This last visit was the final nail in the coffin 3/4/26 around 9pm. The desserts used to be high quality but I can no longer justify the prices alongside bad service. I came with my family after dinner and order their signature shave ice it took about 30min while the staff made tik-tok videos with receipts. It could have been a practical joke with the lack of respect for customers time, but no. Sadly they were not on break. When I finally received the shave ice it was half melted clumped together in a block and inedibly too sweet. Ended up just eating some of the toppings and throwing out the rest. This was honestly a really frustrating experience. I ordered a bubble waffle dessert and a Thai iced tea with caramel pudding, and after waiting over 30 minutes, I still didn't have my order. I went up to the pickup area multiple times and the staff completely ignored me--no updates, no eye contact, nothing. It felt like they didn't care at all. When I finally got someone's attention, they told me they had run out of the bubble waffle, and my Thai tea was missing the caramel pudding I paid extra for. Came the other night to get two drinks(they were two Thai teas meaning it was already a set sugar level). . Since it was taking a long time for our drinks I decided to go up to the counter to ask them what was going on and if they were ready. The girl at the counter was ignoring me as I stood there and even looked up at me and didn't say anything. Came here around 9 pm and the place had pretty long lines. Waited five minutes to place orders through the kiosk. Waited around 25 minutes for our order of egg puffs to come out. You will receive a text when your order is ready. Egg puff with ice cream was good. I recommend dipping the egg puff in the ice cream, otherwise the egg puff can get soggy with the ice cream squished in the middle. I was craving some warm, traditional Asian dessert on a cold night and decided to stop by since they were the only place still open past 9pm. Their menu was very extensive but pricier than I remembered. I saw they had the new purple rice desserts, which is my favorite thing to order anywhere that offers it. I ended up getting the hot purple rice soup with boba, peanuts, and red beans, and a chocolate chip waffle (about $20 before tip). The purple rice soup was so disappointing- there was barely any purple rice at all. The red bean also tasted uncooked and hard. I ended up just sifting through the soup looking for rice and boba, and tossed the rest away. For almost $10, that felt like a scam. Usually the chocolate chip waffle is a pretty safe and decent choice, but it ended up tasting extremely dry this time. The staff here were really nice even though it was the last hour of business and they were still pretty busy on a Monday night. Kudos to them! Combo B has red beans, taro and yam balls, chunks of real taro, and boba. $10 for a bowl for 2-3 to share. Pricy when you think about it but you are paying for the variety of ingredients and someone making it for you lol. We all enjoyed the matcha deluxe egg puff! It get's pretty busy so expect a wait both to order and for your order to be ready. I had just had dinner and wasn't in the mood for an icy taro ball signature, which is what I usually get. -Jin Xuan Oolong Milk Tea w/boba (no ice, regular sweet; $5.75): most places don't have Jin Xuan Oolong, and I took a risk in ordering it here. Ideally, it'd be a nice milky floral oolong, but this drink tasted like watered down creamer, and was barely sweetened. The boba is nice and soft, and little sticky and chewy. I would recommend getting the drink with less ice, since the drink was lukewarm and likely wasn't shaken well with ice before pouring it. I ended up not finishing my entire drink since I was already pretty full and it didn't have any tea flavor. Living so close to a meet fresh has been dangerous for my waistline and my wallet. One legit complaint is they should put up a divider to indicate where the line is for ordering at the kiosks. I'm constantly being cut by people who don't see the line by the window and I have to get their attention to line up properly. I've sampled an assortment of desserts from meet fresh over a year or so. I usually like the shaved ice desserts, the grass jelly desserts are good too. Probably recommended that you share the shaved ice with another person. Take a look at those calorie counts! The double taro signature is one of my favorite grass jelly desserts. For the shaved ice, I like the pudding and q mochi milk shaved ice. The tofu puddings are alright. The almond soup is pretty meh. First time at Meet Fresh was rough! They have 3 ordering kiosks but one was broken, so there was 2 lines forming in different directions and it can be confusing if you've never been there. It seems you only order through the kiosk or online. Actually when I first arrived there was no line (and a huge rush came after) but my take out order of ice grass jelly signature and icy taro ball took over 30 minutes so I recommend sitting down and getting a table if you can. The workers were constantly moving in the back and busy making orders. I could see other customers getting impatient waiting for their orders, so it was pretty hectic. The dessert itself was pretty good since I never had anything like it. The taro balls were chewy. it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and more on the subtle, creamier side with the dash of complimentary coffee creamer that it comes with. It was refreshing and light especially with the herbal grass jelly and shaved ice. It's on the pricier side considering the portion size. Wow! The choices this establishment offers is insane. This place is a great spot to hang out and enjoy the desserts. That's just what we did during this visit. After dinner I usually enjoy a dessert from this establishment. The lines don't seem as long as when it first opened. Also it seems easier to find a table. Also the strategy seems like it is better to order dine-in instead of to-go or else the hot desserts might be too cold. You do have the option to ask them to heat it up in the microwave though. But it is still not scalding hot (which is what I like). I usually will order the red bean signature or the hot almond signature to share. You can get tiny disposable bowls and plenty utensils. The price isn't too bad. It is about $11 for one signature bowl and you can share with 4 people so everyone gets their fix. Wow this place used to be good and the one we went to in Japan was great. But we went last night and wow was everything bad. The service team was more focused on taping up cardboard blockers to keep customers from returning their used trays in the wrong place. Now to the desserts. We did not get the shaved ice but had the cold coco sago soup signature and the peanut cold tofu pudding. First of all, what we received looked nothing close to what was represented in the photos on the menu. Second, it tasted like they literally added water to each dessert - everything was so thin and lacked flavor. And third, there was very little with regard to toppings - we literally had to use our spoons to search thru each bowel to find any. I realize that we are verging on a recession and that we are facing tariffs, but come on. At at least $10 per dessert, the food should be of much better quality. Especially in this location in Cupertino where there are literally so many great places to have dessert. And finally, the staff were not making any effort to keep the place clean and presentable. When we asked for help to clean our table, we were handed dry paper towels to go wipe up the mess left by the previous group. We usually come during off hours, which is a pretty normal in and out experience. Tonight it was crazy. Unclear lines to 3 kiosks with people standing in between unsure which line they were in. The circle arrows on the ground made things even more confusing. After ordering we realized they were really backed up. We waited about 40 minutes for our shaved ice. The frustration permeating from all customers was full on. The lady next to me was even asking for a refund. I think a lot could be improved in the operations. There needs to be distinct markers for the line to each kiosk (could have diff colors) - or make it clear it is one line that feeds into all kiosks. The staff also needs more training. I noticed a lot of referencing recipe sheets on the wall or receipts, which was slowing the pace. Consider switching to assembly line production (ex: chipotle) for the desserts. Instead of each staff needing to remember complicated orders they can focus on a few ingredients and speed. Why not use the right side specifically for drinks? It is already setup for that from previous business. Dedicated drink staff would be faster at making orders and customer could pickup drinks separate from the desserts. Also consider reducing menu items. I think there are too many variants which results in long browse times to order (decision paralysis is real) and more difficulty for staff to remember. read more
