    Icy Grass Jelly Signature
    Lynn R.

all their icy desserts are the perfect sweet treat on a hot summer day. The grass jelly was just sweet enough and so refreshing. The taro/sweet potato mochis were so chewy and delicious too. The original egg waffle I wish was to be a tad sweeter but maybe it would be better with one of the dripping sauces. There's plenty of space to sit inside and outside in the shade. Orders are self-service and came out pretty quickly.

This is located in the Rivermark Plaza, across from the Library and Safeway. Plenty of parking available in the parking lot. Inside is spacious with many tables. They also have outdoor seating available. Their tofu pudding is excellent. Very smooth texture and it's light. This place has one of the best tofu pudding in the bay area. There are different toppings you can add, as well as adjusting the sweet and ice level. The original egg waffle is very good too. Crispy outside and came out warm. Was going to order a drink, however, they don't allow you to adjust the sugar level. Most of the teas are fixed level sugar. Many other tea places allow sugar adjustment and don't know why this places doesn't. Their drinks are way too sweet. Removing one star for it.

this location is nice and clean and has a plenty of seats. They're currently doing a tuesday deal for spend over $25 and get a free drink in july. My favorite is the mini q winter melon tea!

Located in Rivermark Plaza, parking is plentiful and easy to find. The ambiance is busy but service is good. Matcha red bean waffle (4/5): so yummy. The matcha and red bean flavor was balanced out nicely. It seemed a bit dry and wasn't too crispy though. Temperature was hot and very delicious to eat. Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, Meet Fresh is a yummy dessert store. I'd come back here.

One of my favorite places to get dessert. It's super refreshing and not too sweet. I love the mochi balls as super chewy and soft. They always have deals so I would check to see what deals and promotions they are running

** upgraded to 2 stars from 1 because someone processed a full refund on our bill* Hope management takes the feedback seriously. No attention to order details here and efficiency is extremely lacking. If you like waiting an hour for an incorrect order and getting the $1 size of egg waffle when you paid $4.99 for the full size one, then this is the place for you. Order placed at 3:49pm and we got our shaved ice at 4:30pm and the order was wrong- no red bean, tofu pudding, or jelly we ordered. The egg waffle said NO chocolate chips and it had them. Asked for the right order and it took 20 more minutes and she made one that's half the size out of spite and then made a third one that was only slightly larger. Shouldn't be this hard to make regular egg waffle. Tables are all sticky and they are extremely understaffed so no one to clean. A nearby couple waited over half an hour for two drinks. Absolute worst customer service. Mistakes happen but this place is run extremely poorly.

Leaning towards 3.5 stars. The food items themselves are good and as expected. The Chocolate qq Mochi Egg waffle with chocolate chips and condensed milk was good and had a nice amount of chocolate chips and chocolate flavor. Their Icy Grass Jelly signature plus add ons (mini q + melon jelly) was light, cold, and refreshing. Perfect for the hot weather. The inside has a nice modern casual hangout atmosphere. I did notice that tables didn't look cared for/ clean. There were sticky marks on tables, crumbles on seats, trash on the floor, and the tray drop off area was full. From reading the comments, it seems like a staff shortage issue causing these issues.

I love coming here on a hot day for their refreshing cold dessert. Recommend this place if you haven't tried it. My go to dessert is their pudding & q mochi milk shaved ice.

Take too long for my order, and the person preparing food was talking in the headphone and taking her sweet time. While we waiting

Needed a quick tea break, so I stopped by here and ordered the matcha waffle. Service was quick and friendly, and the waffle came out fast. The waffle was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and I really liked that it was not too sweet. Most importantly, it tasted fresh, which made it even better. Giving it 3 stars for now since I haven't tried any of their drinks yet, but I'll definitely revisit again and update my rating after I try more items.

Not only does it get really busy after work hours, many parking spots are reserved for other businesses. It's also usually crowded inside, making snagging a seat a bit hard. It's a popular spot, and I can see why--the menu features many different bingsoo options alongside other desserts, and they're all very beautiful and cute. There's also free WiFi and bathroom access. I will note that they don't seem particularly diligent about cleaning up between customers. You pick your own seats, and when I finally found a table, there was food residue visible on the tabletop. Their prices are a little higher than some other spots in SJ (ranging from ~$13 to $19 pre-tax), and I don't think the quality of the bingsoo is noticeably better to justify the price. I tried a pricier one (the premium strawberry), and found it to be quite good, but not $20 good. Plus, some aspects seem designed more for pictures than for eating. The little cheesecake slice is a bit hard because it's cold and difficult to eat with the shaved ice. That said, their bingsoo does taste good! The fruit tasted fresh and sweet, and the portion was enough for me to share with my partner. I wish the condensed milk was provided on the side instead of already poured on top, but I didn't mind the amount they gave. I may not be back immediately in the future, but I wouldn't mind visiting again. I would probably stick to the lower-priced options myself, though. If you visit, do keep in mind that it's usually really busy--your order probably will take a minute, and whether that's worth it or not is up to you.

I think we went on a day where they might've been short a few people, but we did wait over an hour for our order. From my observations there is a process for the tacos. They have to mold the ice cream in, then keep it in the freezer for a few minutes for it to hold its shape, and customize it after. If you're willing to wait that long for ice cream then I'd say this place is definitely worth it.

Pastries and breads are often not uniform in size. Pastries that come out smaller or torn, damaged still get selected to be sold to customers instead of seen as a quality defect and pulled. In comparison to premium bakeries in SF, Palo Alto, or even Los Gatos, this was disappointing. I would think it would be better to pull the one or two pastries in that tray. Heck, even Paris Baguette would pull whole trays if it didn't fit their quality standard. (But I don't know if that's still true haha.) Given its premium pricing of $8-15 a pastry, I would expect all the qualities that would justify it. They are a step above bakeries who have frozen products, but do not hit the level of premium in quality of pastry. The prices they had in the beginning were fair, but with the recent increase along with those issues, I'm sad to rate it lower.
