Came on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was quite empty. I imagine it would get busy on the weekends. You can order through the self help kiosk or at the cashier. We got the icy signature grass jelly and the chocolate egg waffle. They give you a warning that the egg waffle desserts take longer as they make it fresh, but we only waited about 7-8 minutes for our order. The grass jelly dessert was good for a hot day. They're generous with the amount of grass jelly, taro and sweet potato mochi balls. The chocolate egg waffle smelled amazing but tasted pretty bland on its own. There's a deluxe version that comes with ice cream. Otherwise, the one pro is that it's not too sweet. The cafe itself is very quiet. It's a good place for large groups since there's quite a lot of tables that can accommodate groups of 6-8. It's located in the Rivermark Plaza so there's plenty of parking but there's also a parking garage closeby. Would come here again! The desserts are consistent and refreshing. read more

Stopped by Meet Fresh and tried their Matcha Latte. As a massive matcha fan, I was impressed! The flavor is authentic with a perfect balance of earthy notes and creamy milk. My bf took me to Meet Fresh because I've always wanted to try this place again. I've tried it a long time ago when my sisters did takeout for one of the desserts, but it's not the same as eating it at the place. I'm so glad I gave it another chance, and it has become my new addiction. Double Taro Signature (5/5) - TARO! MY FAVORITE! This was the first one we tried on our first visit, and I love it! The little taro balls are so squishy and has a good chewiness. They also come out hot so the contrast with the rest of the cold ingredients is nice. The taro paste is delicious with the shaved ice and the milk. The grass jelly is so silky and refreshing. This dessert also comes with ice cream, but it's not my favorite. I would prefer to remove it, but my bf likes it. Icy Grass Jelly Signature (5/5) - I also enjoy this dessert. It's very refreshing compared to the double taro signature since it has more grass jelly and milk. Value-wise, I would prefer to go with the double taro signature. You get more variety of toppings. If I went by myself though, I would probably get this though since it's on the lighter side. I'd be able to finish it in one sitting. Yummy! Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice (1/5) - Oh man, I know I gave this place 5 stars but not every item can be a hit. This portion is MASSIVE, so if you decide to get this, make sure you have at least 4 people working on it. However, I wouldn't recommend it either way. The shaved ice is very coarse and flavorless. We were basically eating the toppings, but there's no milky component to help it go down so you get tired of eating it very quickly. Don't bother with the shaved ice and just go for something on their signature series. Icy Taro Ball Signature (1/5) - Similar to the Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice, this one gets a low rating for the shaved ice. Again, the shaved ice is super coarse. It doesn't melt in your mouth. The toppings are good, but just get a different dessert that doesn't come with shaved ice (Note: This is strictly for shaved ice; grass jelly shaved ice is better). I will make a shout out to the workers who accidentally made the icy taro ball signature for us instead of the double taro signature, so they ended up giving it to us for free and remade our actual order. That was very nice of them so I have no issues with customer service should an order go wrong. Looking past the shaved ice, I love this place. We've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to receive our order. We usually go on a weekday when it's empty; weekends can get pretty crowded. With the weather getting warmer, this is a nice place to get a good cooling dessert. read more

Solid dessert place located on the corner. One of my biggest complaints is the menu layout. I see all of the options but I hate that they don't have the prices listed out next to any of the items. That's the biggest downfall and confusion to figure out what you want to order. They have huge kiosk screens but even there you have to add the item to your cart and pretend like you are buying the item to even see the price. I got the simple caramel pudding w boba and thought it was just okay. It lacked any deep flavor and tasted a tad watery in my option. As one plus it wasn't too sweet or overwhelming. I think this place is more known for their shaved ice, grass jelly, and chewy balls. My son,, ordered Meet Fresh Cupertino location: two grass jellies and one milk tea. Unfortunately, the lids were not closed tightly. We carried the bag to the car and drove home from Cupertino to San Jose. When we took the bag out of the car, the bottom of the bag fell out and the containers broke, causing a large mess in our garage. Attached photos for reference. We did drive all the way from San Jose to the Cupertino store and waited for the order, and this is what happened due to improper packaging. Why is everyone sleeping on this location? This place is so clean and there almost never is a line. It's a popular spot, and I can see why--the menu features many different bingsoo options alongside other desserts, and they're all very beautiful and cute. There's also free WiFi and bathroom access. I will note that they don't seem particularly diligent about cleaning up between customers. You pick your own seats, and when I finally found a table, there was food residue visible on the tabletop. Their prices are a little higher than some other spots in SJ (ranging from ~$13 to $19 pre-tax), and I don't think the quality of the bingsoo is noticeably better to justify the price. I tried a pricier one (the premium strawberry), and found it to be quite good, but not $20 good. Plus, some aspects seem designed more for pictures than for eating. The little cheesecake slice is a bit hard because it's cold and difficult to eat with the shaved ice. That said, their bingsoo does taste good! The fruit tasted fresh and sweet, and the portion was enough for me to share with my partner. I wish the condensed milk was provided on the side instead of already poured on top, but I didn't mind the amount they gave. I may not be back immediately in the future, but I wouldn't mind visiting again. I would probably stick to the lower-priced options myself, though. If you visit, do keep in mind that it's usually really busy--your order probably will take a minute, and whether that's worth it or not is up to you.

They have to mold the ice cream in, then keep it in the freezer for a few minutes for it to hold its shape, and customize it after. The chocolate chip cookies are similar to Levain's since it's a thick and gooey cookie loaded with lots of chocolate chips. They only sell their cookies in packs of 4, and they also have milk in their little fridge. Since I can't eat all the cookies in one sitting, I like to freeze the rest and preheat them in the oven for that freshly baked cookie vibe. They're tucked away in an unassuming little building behind a gas station, but there's ample parking.

The chocolate was super rich, and they did not skimp out on the flavor - super chocolatey. The sesame added such a fun earthy and nutty flavor - I thoroughly enjoyed it! The cake is on the slightly denser side, so was super filling. While on the pricier side, the flavors are super unique and the craft that goes into crepe cakes is commendable. Given its premium pricing of $8-15 a pastry, I would expect all the qualities that would justify it. They are a step above bakeries who have frozen products, but do not hit the level of premium in quality of pastry. Their prices are a little higher than some other spots in SJ (ranging from ~$13 to $19 pre-tax), and I don't think the quality of the bingsoo is noticeably better to justify the price. I tried a pricier one (the premium strawberry), and found it to be quite good, but not $20 good. Plus, some aspects seem designed more for pictures than for eating. The little cheesecake slice is a bit hard because it's cold and difficult to eat with the shaved ice. That said, their bingsoo does taste good! The fruit tasted fresh and sweet, and the portion was enough for me to share with my partner. I wish the condensed milk was provided on the side instead of already poured on top, but I didn't mind the amount they gave. I may not be back immediately in the future, but I wouldn't mind visiting again. I would probably stick to the lower-priced options myself, though. If you visit, do keep in mind that it's usually really busy--your order probably will take a minute, and whether that's worth it or not is up to you.

My experience at Meet Fresh was beyond frustrating. We waited over 30 minutes for a simple order of winter melon tea and shaved ice. Yes, 30+ minutes for something as basic as scooping some toppings, adding ice, and pouring in pre-made tea from a jug. And to make matters worse, the winter melon tea had to be remade twice because they got it wrong both times. The customer service here is absolutely atrocious. When my boyfriend went to ask about our order after waiting 20 minutes, he was told, "If you have no questions, please take a seat." Excuse me?! That was his question! To make it even more ridiculous, he noticed an empty and unlabeled cup just sitting there in the queue, untouched. When he asked if that was his drink, he was brushed off again and told to "wait for your number to be called." The sheer rudeness and lack of accountability are shocking. And it wasn't just us, as there was a line of frustrated customers waiting around, many of them also growing impatient with the service. It's not like this place was slammed with complex orders; the system is just broken, and the staff seems completely indifferent to the chaos they're creating. I will say, I did appreciate that when they finally got my drink right, it tasted good. But it should never take three tries to make a simple winter melon tea. Sure, the location has plenty of parking, but the real obstacle here is the endless wait and the growing crowd of angry customers who, like me, were wondering why it's so hard to get a basic drink. Wow! Hands down to this location because I was VERY impressed with their sanitation. I had to use the men's restroom bcuz the person in the ladies room did not come out for over 10min. For the rice drinks, they use a Vietnamese rice called "soi", and it is a delicious ingredient with the coconut milk (non-caffeinated version. I am currently ordering the Jasmine Green Rice and Cacao Thai, so I hope it will be good. Be prepared to wait because they usually have one or two people being the cashier and making drinks. I hate it when the owner(s) don't hire more people when the worker(s) is struggling so hard. If you see this, hire more people and pay them a good wage. Stop being cheap. Treat your workers the way they deserved it. There's also multiple parking lots because this is in a strip mall. Ambiance is good. I am Asian, so I don't care about ambiance.
