Service: Like many "fast food adjacent" restaurants, the people who work there have good customer service but I imagine deal with the worst. I know they're doing great with the situation they're in. Kudos to them. Food: this is probably my harshest critique. I ordered a pesto chicken sandwich, and it was fine. I don't believe it was worth the $16 I spent though. The chicken was kind of bland, tasted similarly to frozen grilled chicken pieces you buy from a grocery store. I do wish there was more sauce. The pesto tasted good but overall there was too much bread. I fear you would be better off making something like this at home for a comparable price. The bread was good, just too much. I don't want to base the menu on this sandwich alone, a lot of the menu options sounded delicious, but this was just the experience I had!

I don't know where to start. Myself and a colleague entered around 10pm was served by Josh who is always pleasant, we'd been out after work so was in good spirits. Ate at the bar and ordered and paid for drinks and food. We then decided we'd like a medium carafe of the sangria before we headed home. We were enjoying our final part of the evening and given our closing bill which was incorrect. The lady server had been hostile and stand off ish and found difficult to engage from the beginning. The final bill given was incorrect as we'd been charged for the larger carafe. She immediately removed the rest of our drinks and became hostile. We said we were happy to pay for what we'd requested but no more as we didn't believe this to be our error. Because of the server's manner we asked to speak with the manager in a calm way in which she refused although being on the phone. We also asked other members of staff if a manager was available in again a non aggressive way as the server was again unhelpful, informing us they would be in tomorrow. My colleague lives above and uses the shop/bar frequently so we advised we would return the following day to resolve the issue. The response we've had back around this review has totally reshaped the narrative. So disappointing. read more

For the large plates, the flavors of the pork Milanese were great, the piece itself was fried well and tender. The dish really benefits from ALL the flavors being included in the bite, which is hard when it's two straight pieces of anchovy and cabbage. Id suggested the cabbage to be shredded or swapped with another green and for the anchovy to be spreadable. The chicken plum had good flavors, but the polenta was a little watery and brought the flavors down.

Ok so food - I get the smash burger and i usually ask for it on a brioche bun, but it tastes surprisingly delicious on the toast as well. Fries are quite good and I'm pretty picky about fries too - I usually like thin and "twice-fried" crispy - and man oh man the drinks! Very yummy. I'd also highly recommend the beignets, which comes with a strawberry compote that hits perfectly. Go to the Fat Rabbit for a family-friendly brunch spot, good drinks, great food and nice people (and prepare for a crowd)!

They had a pinkish mixed drink that taste good and definitely pops up on ya! The owners were very friendly. Very nice. There were other customers causing problems in the restaurant but they were very polite and handled the situation with class. I promise I'll be back. This is my must go to now anytime I'm in New York for sure!
