Had a great brunch here! They were able to accommodate our large party after some other plans fell through. The food was tasty and affordable. This is a great spot to stop in if you are downtown

What a treat this place is and what a great location! (except parking)... But got here early before a show and sat at the bar and ordered some yummy stuff off the menu for happy hour. I went with the cream ale and had the Fuego fondue... it was really enough for 2, but my friend ordered the Monterrey and although it had blue cheese and almonds in it (not for me!) I took a teeny tiny taste just for the flavor of the cheese because it was white queso, which I really like and it was such a tiny dab I think I liked it, but did not want to taint that flavor with any blue cheese and almonds. The almonds were easy to get around, they were slivered and on top in the middle... Both fondues were served with the same dippers, chips or tortillas, broccoli, tiny potatoes, grape tomatoes and a tasty breadstick - maybe pretzel-like... it might have been fun to have a couple of different dippers for each of the different fondues, but that's just me being picky. The service was super nice, they are young, our bartender was ShaWn, he was really nice and helpful. There are some questions still they had because I ask questions, but overall, this is a great spin off from the traditional melting pot where you can still get your fondue on! Definitely a go-back-to spot for me.

    Moscow mule- missing the garnishes

This place has a carefully curated menu and cool sounding drinks, but the execution was so far off that it fell flat. We were a large group, and service was good. Our tables were in the front corner and that has to be the worst place to sit, no airflow and super stuffy, making it uncomfortable. The drinks were pretty awful- we tried several different ones and they just didn't impress. The steak frites was the worst steak I've seen in a while. When it was ordered, the waiter didn't ask how it should he cooked, which was an ominous sign; well, it came out well done with undercooked fries. Total miss. The salmon was good, but could have been better. The sticky ribs were excellent and I highly recommend them- they are spicy though. We ordered both cheese and chocolate fondues and those were really good. The only complaint is the fruit is now cut much smaller, so not that good. Apple slices are comically tiny and the bread doesn't include bread chunks, which were really good. The chocolate was tasty though. Sangria was boring, their version of a Moscow mule was horrible, but their smoky old fashioned was good- just a tad sweet. All in all, I think they are trying hard, and it has potential/ but they missed the mark on several notes.

There's a cute, sit down restaurant with a nice bar selection and fun drinks. Food 4/5: I have had the raclett burger, the chicken waffles, the broccoli au gratin, Brussels and bacon, and the SoBowl, and fondue fries. I should've known better than to get the burger here... However, still pretty good. The burger itself didn't seem homemade or anything like that, but it was will season the cheese on top was melted and so yummy and had a great cheese. I ordered it with the side of broccoli au gratin, which I was not a fan of... There was too much of that cheese sauce on it that it was overwhelming. I couldn't finish it. I also had the fondue cheese fries. Those are pretty tasty! I like all the toppings on it. I will say that the french fries could be cooked a little bit better. It still had a little bit of the past interior meeting. It needs to be cooked a little longer otherwise pretty good, I also ordered the brussels sprouts and the bacon, which was definitely on the sweet side. If they had not overcooked the broccoli, it could've been really good... The flavors are really good. I think they should roast the brussels sprouts instead to give it a crunch rather I had soggy, brussels sprouts. The chicken and waffles, though, we SO yummy! I got a hefty portion of the chicken, which was nice and crispy and juicy! This was my favorite dish! My only comment on this one is at the waffle didn't have a nice chew to it rather it was a little bit more on the crumbly side. Otherwise, a very good dish very yummy! I will definitely order this one again, the sobowl was also very good. It came with tuna which was advertised ponzu tuna. I think that the tuna should be marinated a little longer in the Ponzo sauce... To give it more flavor. I think that the salad overall has a lot of fresh and yummy components. I do think that it was dressed a little bit too lightly... Maybe have a side of the dressing so that we can add more on top as we see fit. OH and the drinks! I got the 813 spritz, the modern old-fashioned, and the blackberry shrub or something along that lines. All three were delicious! I highly recommend any of these drinks. I love grapefruit, so the 813 spritz was amazing. I'm trying to go down the drink menu. These three drinkswere just so good. Service 5/5: I had Daniel who was such an attentive server. He made sure that we were taking care of properly. Our water was always filled. He made sure we enjoyed our food!. He is just awesome!

I found this restaurant to be fun and inviting. We went on karaoke night as well. We had a very nice and attentive waitress who was very helpful in letting me know what menu items were gluten-free or could be modified to be gluten-free, such as the tomato soup without bread. I had a fondue pot with a very large shrimp, broccoli, and mushrooms. I thought the presentation was great, the food tasted good. I only had 2 issues: The large shrimp was way overcooked to the point that it was rubbery, and also, my fondue pot wasn't hot enough, so the cheese was only halfway melted, It was being lit with a tealight candle, which just wasn't hot enough. The cocktails were very, very good. My s/o had the chicken and waffles, which was divine.I would definitely recommend this place and would return. It was great that they had some gluten-free options. There is street parking and the parking garage next door also offers parking.

The Melting Pot Social brings a fun new atmosphere to the boring, stuffy, old melting pot that you've been to in the past. This was a recommendation from a friend and now I can't wait to tell others to try this spot. We did brunch before a show at the Straz Center and it was pure perfection. The service, drinks, food, ambiance - everything was great. As it was our first time, the server excellent laid out the menu, gave some of her favorites but let us have enough time to make a solid choice instead of rushing. From there, we had to try the fondue; we chose a house-made option for our first time and it did not disappoint. When I go again, I'll ask to swap out the potatoes for more broccoli - especially for breakfast since all of the meals come with the same ones. Honestly, the potatoes were the worst part of the meal for me, you could tell they had been sitting for a while and were not fresh. Both breakfast plates were perfectly sized and had great food to give us energy for the show and not feel too filled. I can't wait to go back and try their dinner options. Be sure to get a reservation - I tried to stop by one night and it was packed.

I've returned a year later, and tried the pickle fries...extremely disappointed. 85% fry and maybe 15% pickle. Couldn't taste any pickle in the bites. Super small portion for the price with the smallest sliver of pickles.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with Melting Pot Social when I visited. The service largely impacted our meal. It took one hour to receive our cheese fondue and longer to receive our other items. Additionally, when an item was prepared incorrectly and we asked for it to be corrected we saw/heard a staff member roll their eyes in response and complain about the request, which definitely did not feel good as a customer at the restaurant trying to enjoy a night out. The food was just alright, I much prefer the regular Melting Pot restaurant. Additionally, the fondues should come with additional mix-ins and the pretzel sticks that came with the cheese were cold. Between the service and food preparation, I do not plan on returning to Melting Pot Social.

A few of us were in the area for the Gasparilla Art fair and wanted some lunch. I checked Google maps and was surprised to see the Melting Pot, which I had always wanted to try but never been to. We walked over to check out the menu and were pleasantly surprised with the reasonable prices and selection - there was something for everyone. Inside it was bright and cheery and full of folks from all walks of life - a birthday party, families, couples. I ordered the shrub which was super refreshing after a hot day outdoors, and the customized white wine based fondue and mixed in mushrooms and garlic. It came with so many delicious items to dip: roasted potatoes, tortilla chips, green apple slices, cherry tomatoes, broccoli and a soft pretzel. I also ordered the crispy Brussel sprouts. It was a dreamy lunch and enough for everyone at the table to have some bites, but plenty for me for lunch. My friends got the goat cheese and fig bread (which I sampled) and it was so good with crunch almond slices on top. We had such a lovely time. Our waitress let us know this location is closing due to low sales, which is a shame. I wish the team the best of luck and hope the company will pursue this lighter fair version of The Melting Pot, I found it absolutely delightful, accessible and affordable. Our service was excellent and the food was fantastic.

I was asked, "How would you describe the difference between Melting Pot and Melting Pot Social?" Melting Pot is where you go for dinner before Prom. MeltSo is where you go to dinner for any ol' Tuesday! The edgy little sister of the beloved Melting Pot, this new concept is a GEM! Family friendly and casual Great value Awesome drinks with locally distilled spirits Customizable menu with MANY options No self-cooking Open late Fridays and Saturdays KARAOKE FRIDAY NIGHTS! Catch me there! PRO TIP: Ask for a side of the goat cheese fondue with literally ANY ENTREE YOU ORDER! Thank me later....

This is a great new concept by Melting Pot. In the past my friends and I have only done Melting Pot for special occasions because it was pricey and it took a long time. Now anyone can have that experience in a shorter time, and for less moola. I made reservations because I wasn't sure how busy they would be and my friend and I had tickets to a show at the Straz. This is an awesome place ro go before a show there because it is only a block away. I got there before my friend and was able to order a drink and scope out the menu. When my friend arrived we decided to get a cheese course to share and then a chocolate course ro share. It was a perfect light dinner before the show. The cool thing about ordering like this is that the cheese and chocolate courses are about the same price so it makes splitting the bill easier as well. I love the fun, modern atmosphere here. It is inviting to people of all ages. There where families with young kids as well as a group that looked like they were there for happy hour. There is also a lot of bar seating so if you wanted to go in my yourself you would have a place to sit. The cheese is my favorite course. I can see myself getting a cheese course for myself as dinner. There are also several options on the menu that are not fondue so if you have folks in your group that don't want fondue there should be something for them. Service was also good. I recommend and anticipate us returning before future shows!

Visited Melting Pot Social over the weekend and I really enjoyed this place! Opted to sit at the bar and bar staff - (Mike B.) was amazing! He was very attentive and made us some awesome drinks! Very friendly and assisted with suggestions as well! Food and drinks all came out super fast! Came here for drinks and apps and this is the perfect spot for this or even with a date! For drinks I had one of the signature drinks on the menu called the Key Lime Colada and this was perfect not to sweet and so refreshing! I also tried the TPA drink and I was not a fan of this one. It's made with a Smokey Mezcal and I was thinking it would be more like a Spicy Margarita but Mike quickly replaced it for me and advised this is not one of his favorites either! For food we had The Monterey Cheese Fondue and added tortilla chips to the dippers! This is the perfect appetizer for 2 ppl not to much or too little! Super tasty would definitely recommend! Off of the appetizers we ordered the Crispy Veggie Potstickers and these were just ok. Seems like a rather small portion for the price but flavor was good. No complaints about it other than that but I probably would not order these again. To finish we ordered the Flaming Turtle Fondue and this was very tasty! Loved the assortment of dippers included and if you want other options you can always add on more of anything or get additional ones that are optional! Loved this quick service Fondue restaurant and I can't wait to come back! Will definitely be back to try the brunch!

We had a double date here with our son and his girl. This is a great place to grab dinner and have some shareable plates. The interior is relatively small and not too loud so a nice spot for conversation. Charcuterie, guac and chips were tasty. We also enjoyed the beer cheese and Queso Fondue with all the dippers. The Flaming Turtle Fondue was a great way to end the meal. Melting Pot Social has a full bar. You can request any of the flaming dishes without the alcohol and fire. This is a quicker alternative to the traditional Melting Pot dinner

There are a few parking garages, but even those are a pain because people park like idiots. The parking situation isn't On Swann's fault, but it's an annoying factor. We had reservations well in advance, so we didn't have to worry about a wait. It was reasonably busy for a Saturday at brunch time. The decor and overall ambiance was classy but comfortable, which is great imo. Our server was nice and checked on us a good amount of times. The wait time between ordering our food and it coming to the table felt a bit lengthier than I would typically expect, but the food was delicious so it's hard to even complain about that. I got the short rib hash and a croissant and both items were wonderful. The croissant was flaky and buttery, it comes with a honey dip and butter on the side, would def get again. The short rib hash was also a menu item I would order again - the eggs were cooked perfectly, and I'd say I'm a little picky with how runny my eggs are. These were runny, but not TOO runny. The potatoes had a nice crisp to the outside but nice and soft on the inside, the short rib was so tender, so juicy, it was just a very well rounded, great tasting hash. This was my first time visiting On Swann for brunch, I'll be back for sure, but maybe on a weekday instead of the weekend since it seems to get pretty crowded in the Hyde Park Village area!

Their cocktails are delicious. The bar area is beautiful with a choice of inside or outside seating with views of the bay. Beautiful place. We'll visit again for a full experience soon!

There was a great amount of creamer, and the fish was so fresh and not that weird fishy smell to it. The greens complemented and balanced out the fattiness of the salmon. We also got their brunch burger, which we ordered at medium rare. It's probably the first place I've ever served me an actual medium rare burger cooked correctly! The egg was nice and runny the bun was seasoned. I could've gone without the croissant bun. I think it got soggy and the flavor didn't quite fit. I was expecting a more buttery, flaky croissant rather I got a more sweet dough croissant. Otherwise, the other components were put together very well. The french fries are also cooked perfectly. Highly recommend. Then we ended the meal off with macadamia pancakes. The pancakes themselves were kind of flat but surprisingly very moist and very yummy. I wasn't expecting them to be moist because I have flat they were, but it was very good. The macadamia and the fruit combo on top was delicious. The passionfruit syrup was tangy and sour. My only feedback is to serve it with whipped cream or something to just relieved all the sourness that's on this plate. Otherwise very well executed. We'll definitely be back!

An absolute GEM in Tampa! The service here was absolutely stellar, I want to give a HUUUGE shoutout…read moreto our server Nate! Nate made our dinner a 20/10 experience and is truly the definition of Above & Beyond! Nothing but passion and hard work behind the service here! The food was nothing short of breathtaking. To start to drink we had the Guava Pastelito and the Sawgrass Sour and let me just say that the foam they put on the Guava Pastelito is a total show stopper. For starters we had the Garbanzo Croquette and the Chicken Yakitori plate and those were just absolutely delicious, I was completely mind blown from how delicious the Croquette was and it genuinely surprised me because I did not think I would enjoy that as much as I did, the Yakitori was seasoned to perfection and just melted like butter whenever you bit it. The Short Rib Gnocchi tastes like home in a bowl, just the most warm comforting hug you could ever have in food form. Vindaloo pasta dish was extremely delicious and such an amazing combination of flavors in one dish. Everything here was beyond a 10/10 and I cannot wait to come back! The ambiance here is the most perfect dimly lit romantic date night spot that is sure to impress whoever you're bringing on your date, I know that me and my girlfriend absolutely enjoyed everything about this place!

My biggest takeaway is that this restaurant is all about the dining experience. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and I really appreciated how they explained each dish when it arrived. Their prix fixe menu with wine pairings seems to be the full experience, but we decided to visit during Happy Hour instead. My biggest disappointment was the Happy Hour menu. I wasn't aware that it mainly consists of snack size portions of their regular dishes. Since the regular portions are already on the smaller side, the reduced portions didn't feel like a great value. For me, the appeal of Happy Hour is getting the same food/drinks at a lower price, so that was not what I expected. We ordered the tuna tartare, ribs, tortellini, and the local collar. The local collar was the standout dish of the meal. The crispy fried fish paired with the refreshing sauce was absolutely delicious and worked perfectly together. Overall, we had a great experience. While the Happy Hour offerings weren't what I expected, the food was excellent, and the service was spectacular. The staff was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable, making the meal feel special from start to finish.

We were seated at a super small table so it made for an uncomfortable situation with so little real estate available. Also the place looks like it's converted from a garage or something with metal walls and roll up doors that made the sound bounce around. The service was nice. We were well taken care of but they seemed to be spread thin because getting refills and getting our check took a bit longer than expected. One ssue was that the menu was very different from what was online via Google. I should have gone to their website I guess, but several items were not available and the filet I was so excited for had a very different set of items. No Brie au gratin potatoes or braised rainbow chard, citrus gremolata and a fig chutney. Now, let me say that my filet was delicious. I loved the sauce and the asparagus was good but for me, the potatoes were super underwhelming. A nice sauce or something would have made them better. They just tasted bland, were really dry and lacked any flavor. My wife expected the lamb or pork chops, they were both not on the menu. She got fish and chips which she really enjoyed, so it was a win. The Asian wings were our appetizer and were delightful too. Now the only real negative for us was the noise. We got there at 5:30 and it was fine. But as more people came in, the sound bounced around so bad that it became almost unbearable for me. I wanted to go so bad because people laughing and talking made my head hurt. Would I go back? Probably not. I didn't enjoy how loud it was. The food was very good though, so perhaps takeout would be more my speed. We had a nice meal and my leftovers were delicious later that evening.

We tried the espresso martini flight and ehhh photo worthy but it was just okay. No option to customize the flavors, so you're kind of stuck with whatever comes with it, even if you don't like the flavors. The mussels appetizer was good. My friend ordered the Kale Caesar salad...but it came out with spinach instead, which was a little odd. We both got the short rib for our entree and honestly... neither of us liked it. The flavor was lacking The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Pricing fits for the type of restaurant, but based on the overall experience, it didn't feel worth the high bill this time around.
