    Artichoke Juice

Hidden gem! If you're looking for some nostalgic tasting boba that tastes good, AND it's affordable too? This is the place! The menu is huge, so I wanted to try something that seemed to be really popular amongst Yelp reviews. The Sea Salt Crema was highly reviewed, so I got this with the Dark Roast Oolong Tea. Super tasty! Definitely on the sweet side. I would suggest getting this at 25%! My friends also really enjoyed the Artichoke Juice and Mango Tea from here!

Underrated boba shop in the east side of San Jose! My friends and I decided to get some late evening boba before they closed at 7:30 pm. Though arriving at 7:10 pm, the staff were getting to ready to close shop and still took our orders! It's a warm boba shop when you come in with a cozy interior that's cat themed! There's a cute cat mirror and cat wall paining for that aesthetic picture with your boba. They have a daily special of buy 2 drinks get 1 free! Such a good deal. I got the mango tea 50% sweet with lychee jelly. Was done in 5 minutes and it was refreshing, sweet to my liking, and good! A great experience and I recommend that you should go here!

    Mango Coconut Delight

Feels like a place for younger kids so I felt a bit out of place here. There were board games and toys for kids for them to play with. I ordered the Mango Coconut Delight and it was a lot bigger than I expected. The coconut flavor was good and had bits of mango inside. I got 50% sweet but I still thought it was too sweet, perhaps because this place has a younger audience. If I came again I would opt for a lower sweetness.

Closed on May 19 sign out their door. It would be nice if they updated that they were closed on yelp. Wasted my time and energy driving there.

Meow Tea Mix & Black Sugar Fresh Milk

I always stop by Meow Tea when I take my brother to get a haircut. I like how Meow Tea always has the deal of buy 2 get 1. There are a few chairs for you to sit on inside and parking is kind of difficult. The shop also provides a few games that you or children can play on. The pricing is decent and very affordable. Hits: * Meow Tea Mix is a good classic boba if that's what you're looking for. It comes with grass jelly, boba and coffee jelly. I do think the regular sweet is too sweet so I always get less sweet. * Mango Coconut Delight is also very refreshing. I enjoy the mango and like how it comes with egg pudding. Final Verdict: Solid 4/5. The shop is always playing sweet and cute music. We also ordered the Black Sugar Fresh milk but I found it kind of basic and didn't stick out much. The staff is also nice and answers any questions that I may have. Although parking is a bit difficult, it is kind of worth it for the deal they offer.

We got their honey yuzu with 50% sugar. This was very nice and refreshing. Surprised this came with jelly. A great value for $5! Would definitely come back to try their other drinks and snacks!

    Vietnamese Milk Coffee
    Ray L.

Meow Cafe We ordered two drinks here 2 Wintermelon Aloe they had a "Buy two get one free deal" so we got a Vietnamese Milk Coffee. Drinks 5/5: The wintermelon aloe teas were rich in flavor and a great level of sweetness. The aloe was fresh and provided a great balance to the drink. The Vietnamese coffee was strong and flavorful. Since I drank the coffee the following morning after the ice melted, the cup looked a quarter empty. But it was a free drink so I shouldn't complain, but look at the photo of the unopened drink.

    Takoyaki
    Lihz P.

Wow! I have not been here in a long time! Hands down still the best takoyaki in town and the fish ball? Yum! I honestly come here more for their food than their drinks. Minus one star for the super long wait - it took about 30 minutes for 3 food items and 3 drinks. & it was hot and stuffy inside.

pandan waffle $4, mild pandan flavor.
    Joyce T.

food, service, ambiance - all okay. We had the wintermelon tea, earl grey milk tea and boba tea with creme. They have B2F1 which is a good deal. Their price is decent too. We ordered pandan waffle, it's crispy outside and soft inside, very mild pandan flavor. There is no AC, it's kind of warm inside. They have some board games which is good to kill time while waiting for the food and drinks.

    Calamari heads
    Amanda D.

Always come here for the avocado smoothie. Hidden gem in san jose. Their snacks are also delicious. Recommend to try the calamari heads. The shop is clean. Staff are friendly and flexible.

Matcha with mango slush, watermelon slush + boba, matcha slush
    Jiamei L.

My favorite boba place in San Jose!! They usually have a buy 2 get 1 free deal and the drinks are so affordable. They have one of the largest menus I've seen with lots of variety and customization. They have a nice TV where they play music videos or movies. At my last visit, we ordered: - matcha with mango slush - matcha slush - watermelon slush All drinks are incredibly delicious and refreshing! The drinks are always good quality. They never miss!! I definitely recommend everyone to visit Meowtea in SJ.

Quite a few beverage options, as well, that are lightly discounted 3:30- 5:30pm. We enjoyed the HH menu Sparkling Rose ($12) and the HH ahi tartare served with wonton chips. The Rose was nice, and the ahi was pretty good, but nothing noteworthy. There have been so many restaurants in that location over the last 25 years, starting back at the Chart House, so I suspect a really perfect dining experience might be required to stay around long term. It definitely feels like a place that's designed to be more of an experience spot, especially if you're going for the aesthetic. That said, the food was hit or miss. The menu is big, which normally I like, but it doesn't really work in its favor when not everything is consistently good. Some items were fine, but nothing really stood out enough to make me feel like I'd confidently reorder them. Given the prices and very small tapas-style portion sizes, it just didn't feel worth the gamble overall. Our Lila Latte (ube latte) didn't taste like ube at all. When we arrived and asked about seating, we were told they weren't taking walk-ins. So we went online, made a reservation for 10 minutes later lol. And then got seated right away with that reservation. Their seating system could use a bit of streamlining. Overall, cute setting and decent vibes, but between the price, portion sizes, and inconsistency, I probably wouldn't rush back unless I knew exactly what to order and could guarantee outdoor seating. Chicken dumplings were my favorite dish!

You order through a QR code on the table and all mobile devices ordering from the same table will have their orders consolidated. Beef Udon stir fry is tasty, but as many have said, on the sweeter side. Loooooove the texture and chew of the udon noodles. Very springy, almost like korean rice cakes or gnocchi. Sake chirashi bowl was delicious too. Would be nice if the wasabi was on the side. My daughter loves sashimi but can't handle when the wasabi touches the fish. Too spicy for her. Freshness of the fish is good. It's not the luxury cut of salmon, but the quality is still very worthwhile. Can't go wrong with Cali Roll, sweet potato fries, and spring rolls (fried egg rolls). Kids gobbled them right up. My bestie also ordered a sizzling plate which she finished just as quickly. Definitely RECOMMEND this spot for small get togethers, party of 5 or less. They may not have much in sushi variety, but what they dish up, they serve with pride with modest prices. Cheers to the sweet woman who gave our kids lollipops after their meal. Parking's a little crazy, but that's because everyone goes there. The way it's decorated inside is SO adorable and well-intentioned. You'll love all the cute little trinkets, wallpaper, and lights.
