    Complimentary bread with butter
    Jennifer H.

Meteora is a 1 star Michelin restaurant, so the ambiance, service, and presentation were excellent! We made a reservation for a group dinner. Since my husband and I recently got married, our friends mentioned this in the reservation, and the restaurant created a menu that said congrats to us, so that was a nice, personal touch. They also lit this nut on fire which signaled long- lasting love or something like that lol We got the 6-course tasting menu for $195 each and we tried the additional avocado/sourdough bread for the $18 supplement. We were also given a complimentary appetizer of bread and butter and a complimentary melon dessert. This is what we tried for the tasting menu: 1. Sungold tomatoes with hemp seed tofu, nectarine, chatted scallion, chamomile - 5/5 stars. This was a group favorite! The tomatoes had a wonderful roasted taste, and all the flavors blended so well together! 2. Pacific black cod with roasted fiddlehead fern, grilled collard green, burnt onion - 4.5/5 stars. The cod was personally my fave dish of the night! I also enjoyed trying fern for the first time! But the other veggies were too salty 3. Heirloom corn with squash blossom, urfa chili fudge, sea buckthorn - 4/5 stars. Strong corn flavor and tasted like a tamale. Didn't blow my mind personally 4. 7-day dry aged white pekin duck with caramelized lettuce, pumpkin seed cream, and charred habanero jus - 3.5/5 stars. The duck was on the chewy side, but still pretty good, and the pumpkin seed cream/habanero jus added a strong flavor. The lettuce was way too salty 5. Tigernut custard with red mango, allspice, and apricot- 3/5 stars. I personally didn't enjoy this. Too sour for my liking 6. Hearth-roasted pineapple with tonka bean, Brazil nuts, burnt wheat - 5/5. Cool presentation and loved the flavors. The texture of the bottom was like the crust of a pie Other notes: the avocado/sourdough appetizer was meh. The sourdough was too doughy and fried, and the avocado had nice flavors, but not worth $18 extra. Overall, enjoyed our experience here!

I had an amazing anniversary dinner at Meteora, a Michelin-starred restaurant. I didn't do much research beforehand, wanting it to be a surprise. The food was incredible, with 4 or 6 courses, including options to supplement. The ambiance, food presentation, ingredients, and service were all top-notch. Parking was easy, with street parking (read the signs) or valet service available behind the restaurant. I highly recommend Meteora to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

We visited Meteora for my birthday and had an 8pm reservation. There's valet parking behind the restaurant and the entrance honestly looks like a giant bird's nest. The moment you walk in the restaurant is stunning. The ambiance is dark, elegant, and unlike anything else I've seen in LA. Even the bathrooms were beautifully designed. We opted for the 6-course tasting menu. The meal started with complimentary sourdough, butter, and honey. When the bread was first dropped off, our server noticed the honey was missing and brought it out right away. I appreciated that they caught the mistake immediately, but at a Michelin-starred restaurant I expect every plate to leave the kitchen exactly as intended. The sourdough was crispy all the way through which made it feel a little dry. I wish there was more contrast between the crust and the inside. The butter was smooth and almost cheese-like, and the honey paired nicely with it. The scallop course was beautifully presented. The scallop itself was super fresh and packed with umami while the nectarine added a nice balance. The shaved "seawater" served alongside it honestly just tasted like salt. The black cod had perfectly crispy skin and the greens paired really well with it. My issue was that the sauce was pretty salty while the fish itself felt under-seasoned so the dish ended up relying on the sauce for flavor. The heirloom corn had a great corn flavor but once again the component underneath the squash blossom was salty. The sweet puree helped balance it out but not enough. For the main course, we chose the dry-aged duck. The cook on the duck was beautiful with a perfect pink center but I wish the skin was crispier. The charred lettuce helped cut through the richness and the green peppercorn added a nice kick. Unfortunately, the sauce was also on the salty side. The tigernut custard had a nice warmth from the cinnamon. For my birthday they brought out burning stones which was a cool presentation, but I was honestly hoping for something a little more special. The final dessert was a tableside-cut roasted pineapple. It was sweet, but nothing particularly memorable. The meal ended with melon seasoned with salt and pepper which also felt pretty underwhelming. Personally, I thought 2 dessert courses felt a bit excessive especially since neither was particularly memorable. I would've preferred another savory course instead. By the end of the meal, our server asked what our favorite dish was and we actually pondered about it for a minute. For a tasting menu at this price point, I usually expect at least one course that immediately stands out or leaves a lasting impression. While there were dishes I enjoyed, none of them really had that wow factor for me. The service was good but not exceptional. After the bread course, we asked for additional towels to clean our hands but the request was forgotten. I had really high expectations for Meteora and left feeling disappointed. The restaurant is visually stunning and I can definitely see the vision behind the menu. Unfortunately, the execution didn't match the creativity. Too many dishes leaned salty and several courses felt unbalanced. Overall, it was a beautiful experience, but for the price I expected a lot more finesse and flavor.

Most of the dishes were amazingly flavored, all were very unique. My favorites from this summer were the roasted pineapple dessert, followed by the peking duck main. I had a personal indifference to the first couple courses, so I'm giving 4/5. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is fast, but once the servers realized I was a table for 1 ordering 0 of the expensive pairing drinks, I noticed significantly less interest and follow up throughout the night. Still, the set menu was enjoyable at a relatively reasonable price for a michelin star restaurant. I'm glad I went, but probably won't be back soon. Thanks!

Super fresh and avant-garde. The atmosphere is incredibly unique and visually striking. 10/10 for the experience. Visuals were stunning but the flavors didn't quite live up to the hype. Smoked Oysters: Absolute highlight. Deep, smoky and delicious. Duck Breast: A bit disappointing. The cook was slightly off. A visually captivating experience but the taste was a bit hit-or-miss for the price. Great for the "avant-garde" vibe but lacked that extra punch in flavor.

Meteora was an amazing experience. Walking into the restaurant was like being transported to another place. We completely forgot that we were in the middle of bustling Los Angeles. The interior was calm and peaceful and beautifully decorated. Service was friendly and what you would expect from a Michelin caliber restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. They also had a very cool non-alcoholic drink pairing, which you don't always find. We loved every second of it and will definitely be back again. Celebrated my birthday at Meteora, and it was definitely a memorable experience. We made a reservation and were seated right away in the main dining room. The vibe and décor are very unique and immersive, which made the whole evening feel special. For the course meal, we had the Crudo of Mt. Lassen Steelhead, Pacific Black Cod, Embered Murasaki Yam, 14-Day Dry-Aged White Pekin Duck, and Hearth Roasted Pineapple. We also added the Black Winter Truffle "Risotto." I opted for the wine pairing with my meal. We started with bread and butter served with maple banana syrup, which was really good. Both the presentation and taste of each dish were exceptional. Everything was cooked perfectly, and all the sauces that accompanied the dishes were heavenly. Service was impeccable and the pacing of the meal was great. The dishes came out fairly quickly, with the only bit of a wait being for dessert. They also brought out a complimentary birthday dessert, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. I would highly recommend this place for any celebration.

Let's start with this place was so special from the entrance to the dining. When you walk up it's like a hidden Oasis - a very large door and excellent service. I saw the restaurant online but what got my attention was the REAL Plants all over - which brought Freshness.. get aesthetics throughout. Immediately to the right is the bar where I ordered Buddha Martinis it was the best! The bar tender broke down the ingredients as you take a sip of the speciality drink.. I got three!! Next up was the 6 course tasting menu.. everything was prepared to greatness. All I can do is recommend trying yourself but book in advance. The server was a very kind woman - shot out to (Sahara) Everytime I needed her to be present she was without hesitation , definitely showing her mastery skills of the waitress business by memorizing the entire menu all while giving suggestions. I will return 10/10

First of all, what an experience. When you first walk up to the restaurant, you greeted by a large nest like decor. It looks like you're entering nature. As soon as you walk in, do you no longer feel like you're in Los Angeles. This restaurant combines nature into the overall experience, where find attention is paid to the dish itself, the utensils, the aroma of the restaurant, and down to the taste of each bite. If you're here, you might as well get the six course menu, it is totally worth it. The service is phenomenal, and I am in shock at the different combination that the chef envisioned and executed. I have never thought persimmon to be paired with scallops. Everything is cooked over live fire. You get an exotic taste with every bite you take. I truly enjoyed my experience here and would recommend coming at least once, twice, or a few times, when the menu changes.

This was an experience! I had reservations at 9pm on a Saturday. Valet was $16, but you can do street parking. Parking wasn't too hard to find when I went. The front door is shaped like a giant nest. The inside was magical. Bathrooms are clean and co-ed. Sinks are outside the stalls. The stalls are hot. They have candles in there which make it really warm. It's also dark. The menu is a 5-course meal, but the chef gave us a few complimentary dishes which made the experience special. My favorite item that night was the black cod. My least favorite was the scallops, but that's only because I don't really eat raw fish. If I was someone else, I think I would like it. The people I had dinner with all had different favorites, and overall, the food was wonderful. It wasn't too small and we left satisfied. Service was okay. It felt a little snooty...not a lot of smiles, and they seemed like they were only there to do their job. Not sure how the work environment is there, but it kind of shows. Also, they change your utensils after each course, which I thought was a little wasteful, but I guess it's all part of the experience. Overall, I rated Meteora a 4. The food was good, vibes were wonderful, service could use a little more hospitality training, but it wasn't terrible. Maybe I just went on an off night.

Appetizer on the house ~ changes constantly

Was able to try out this 1 star Michelin restaurant Meteora tonight and the first view was a gigantic bird nest looking door entrance. The moment you walked in, you see a standing and seating lounge like area while waiting for your seat to be ready~ The overall dining area feels modern meets jungle vibe, very unique! And all the staff greets you with a big smile :) Opted in on the 4 course meal with 1 add-on. I choose the kiwi yuzu mocktail & it was nice, refreshing, and with just enough tanginess to stimulate your appetite :P Before the appetizer was an on the house pre-appetizer. House baked bread with a liver mousse patte like texture spread with charcoal powder on top and banana syrup in the middle. Very delicious! First appetizer is the honey grilled scallop with Taiwan mustard green, caramelized plantain, drizzled with burnt onion soup. A nice balance between sweet and savory~ Second appetizer is the Japanese yam with smoked salmon roe and papaya. Interesting combo of the subtle smokiness and saltiness from the roe in conjunction to the sweetness of the papaya and yam. Small suggestion might be the heaviness of the cream being slightly overpowering the natural sweetness of the Yam if eaten together. Add-on dish is grilled avocado with caviar paired with house baked sourdough. What surprises me is how the avocado still keeps its shape and not being mushy while being so silky soft once you bite into it. The added larger pieces of salt on it with the caviar creates this nice balance of complex flavor that perfectly pairs with the soft sponginess of the freshly baked sourdough. My favorite dish tonight! Entree is a play on traditional Pekin Duck dish mixed with a modern Californian cuisine twist. They even shaved some special salt in coconut?over the duck before you eat it. The presentation was fun and interactive~ The moment you bite into the duck, the skin side takes you to a Chinese restaurant vibe of how crispy the skin is. Next bite of the meat portion drizzled with burnt maple syrup paired with carrot and leek transform you into back into this fine dining environment! Very interesting :P Dessert comes with a cold mousse ring with a thinly baked cookie over it. Server then cut a piece of roasted pineapple and topped it on the dessert and drizzle some olive oil into the middle~ the warm temperature of the pineapple mixed with the cold mousse is quite interesting. Overall, the experience is fun and delicious~ hope this review helps :)

    birthday note

We went to Meteora to celebrate my birthday this past week, and I thought it was a great experience overall. We walked away happy and full, so let me get into the details of our fine dining experience. Parking: Meter/street parking or valet for $16. It was hard to find a spot, and this was on a Thursday night. Ambience: It felt very nice and relaxing once we were inside. The restaurant decor is serene, with live plants and comfortable seating. It was not overly crowded, which is exactly my preference. Communication: Staff was in conversation with us 2 weeks before the reservation and provide us with the opportunity to dine in the main dining area when there was an opening. Food: We opted for the 4-course menu, but the chef comped us an additional appetizer and two desserts. Note that the theme of this restaurant is that every dish has been touched by flames. We were really full by the time the desserts came out. Let's get into the details of each item: - Complimentary Buckwheat Sourdough: Served with a caramelized butter, this was really scrumptious. The bread was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and the flakes of salt went really well with the bread by itself. When you add the butter, the flavors just burst in your mouth. This was definitely my favorite. - Scallop Crudo: Served with plantains and greens. The dish was sweet, sour, and tangy--very complex. The scallop was of good quality with a firm texture. - Burnt Murasaki Yam: True to its name, the yam is burnt on the outside (and you do eat the burnt part!). It is served with a creamy broth, pine nuts, and roe at the bottom. It tasted burnt, sweet, and salty. Again, very complex flavors, though not my favorite dish. - Upgraded Margaret River Wagyu: I upgraded my entree to the wagyu, while my husband stuck with the duck. The dish was perfect. The wagyu was cooked to a beautiful medium-rare. Of all the dishes, this one had the simplest flavor profile, which was great because it allowed the wagyu to shine. It was definitely another favorite dish of the evening. - Beignet with Caramel Sauce: This was my least favorite because the beignet felt really dry and doughy. - Complimentary Pineapple Ice Cream: An interesting dessert with complex flavors. The ice cream is very rich and salty, but the pineapple balances it out perfectly. - Complimentary Cherimoya: Grilled cherimoya was light and refreshing. It would have been great if it was chilled some more, but the theme was every dish to be touched by flame. I also want to point out an interesting thing about the food was their salt rock crystal that was on the table display. The salt was so fine and high quality, we really enjoyed learning about its origin. Overall, my takeaway is that every dish and pairing is full of complex flavors. It definitely felt experimental and might not be suitable for everyone if they prefer simpler tastes. Drinks: We chose the juice pairing, and all the juices were very unique. They tasted exotic and really packed a punch. Pricing: It can be as expensive as you want it to be, with the base tasting menu priced at $120/person, plus supplement options. Service: The service here was impeccable. They were very nice and accommodating, especially with my husband's particular taste regarding seafood and shellfish. (Though it's a win-win for the restaurant since vegetarian items are much cheaper in price, haha!) Overall: A great experience with fantastic food. I would definitely come back to try their à la carte menu in the future. Thank you, Meteora and Chef Kahn, for making my birthday meal feel so special! Meteora definitely provides good justification for us to dine at Vespertine next!

Great place to celebrate special occasions. We came for my husband's birthday, and they had a cute birthday card on the table when we arrived. We were blown away just by their starter dish, which was an amazingingly soft bread served with vegan butter There's an option to choose between the duck and wagyu -- I had the duck, which I actually preferred over the wagyu that my husband ordered My favorite dish was their surprise entree that was not on the set menu - a buttery yam that was served when they were first awarded the michelin star. Apparently if you dine at the bar for their a la carte menu, you can order this dish. The vibes here are immaculate, it feels like stepping into a jungle as soon as you walk in. From the lush interior design to the music they play, every detail sets the mood. I loved the bar design, and even the entrance is incredibly unique. Also - I really love that they have an option for non alcoholic juice pairing. I haven't seen that before, and it's a wonderful option for those who don't drink alcohol. The juice blends were so unique, and surprisingly paired really well with the dish they were served with. My favorite drinks were the elderberry and pomegranate. Overall, it was such an amazing experience that we went back again the following week

Did anyone get their $150 credit through the Chase sapphire card?

Yes I got the Chase Sapphire Reserve dining credit with Meteora.

Corkage? Do they allow us to bring our own wine bottle?

    Yes

Whats difference between the indoor dining and outdoor dining areas? Which one is preferred?

Outdoor dinning isn't necessarily outside outside, it's more of an openaire space with a huge tree at the center of the patio. It really gives a great ambiance and atmosphere while dinning. Both indoor and outdoor are dim light setting so if dinning…

Is there valet parking? (I assume so, but want to be sure!)

Yes there is but it's in the alley way behind the restaurant. It was $15.

With the switch to tasting menu only, are vegetarian options available?

    Yes

    How was their tasting menu?

It was exceptional, and very reasonably priced at $95 per person. I also recommend the wine pairing, available for $70 per person. It is available on Friday and Saturday only.

How can I make a reservation for a party of 9? Options is not available on open table and can't get a hold of anyone via phone~

Concrete tables can't me moved. Largest table seats 6. So you'd have to book two tables for 9 people. Just ask them to seat your parties next to each other.

    Are kids allowed?

It's a normal restaurant, so no restrictions on kids. But the food may not suit all kids and there is no kids menu. So just keep that in mind. If your kids are open to trying unfamiliar flavors, they may enjoy it there.…

Are there any gluten free options?

Well. Yeah. Still, may be you'd be better off at Kitchen Mouse?

Is there a menu and prices? The website has nothing

check out fotos in MENU section

Is this a tasting menu-only restaurant? And assuming it is, how much is it per person? Thank you!

No. All a la carte menu.

There is both an indoor and somewhat outdoor area, so if you want something, a little quieter and high-end or more of a sports bar, they have both. I love the twinkly lights outside too. The service was fantastic. They were all efficient. The restaurant was basically empty, but the man who "served" us was so weird and rude... he was acting as if he was extremely busy and the way he was speaking to me from the moment I walked in was extremely rude and lowkey aggressive. I ordered sparkling rose and he brought me what looked like prosecco- I said is this rose? He literally acted like I came in there every day annoying him or something... it was truly strange. He insisted it was rose (it wasn't rose colored ) Anyway it wasn't the rose that was the problem, it was the way this weirdo was acting. It's hard to explain it bc it was so weird but I was SO UNCOMFORTABLE I insisted we leave. By the way, we'd been there for five minutes. We went to superba instead and it was such a better vibe. Like night and day. Would not recommend dining in at running goose.

The outdoor space was absolutely beautiful and the perfect setting to celebrate with my closest friends and family. We did a family-style brunch, and let me tell you, they did not miss. We started with the arugula salad, Louisiana shrimp aguachile, and cream biscuits. Those biscuits? Listennnn. Order them. Fight over them if you have to. lol They were THAT good! For the main dishes, we shared the French toast, chilaquiles, and shrimp and grits, along with house-made bacon and butterball potatoes. The French toast and bacon were my favorites by far. My goodness. I am still thinking about them. The shrimp and grits were also perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. What made me laugh was that our group is usually very chatty. There was so much talking, catching up, and laughing. Then the food arrived and suddenly all you heard were forks and spoons hitting plates followed by a bunch of "mmm," "oh wow," and "girl! you've got to try this." That's when you know the food is doing its job. Our server was amazing and took such great care of us. Everything came out smoothly, and we never felt rushed. Between the beautiful setting, incredible food, and being surrounded by people I love, it was one of those afternoons I'll always remember. I'll absolutely be back, and those biscuits and French toast will be the first things I order.

California offered an immediate rush of light, space, and possibility. My memory is that when I turned my phone back on at LAX, my friend messaged to say he'd gotten us the hookup at Bestia. That dinner belongs to a chapter in which I spent considerable time in California and felt energized by the contrast with New York. My friend is highly discerning, with impeccable taste in food, design, and culture. He notices details most people miss, so when a place impresses him, I pay attention. From the moment I saw his message, I knew the reservation meant something. Even before we entered, Bestia's character was evident. Faded lettering crossed the corrugated metal facade, while brick walls and old loading doors preserved the warehouse's industrial history. Inside, enormous windows and garage doors brought light into a room shaped by glass, exposed ductwork, and warm amber pendants. When I fantasize about living in a loft, many of the attributes I picture are here, especially the incredible windows and connection to the street. Inside the restaurant, the dining room achieved a combination I rarely encounter. It had the table density and collective buzz of a great New York restaurant, but within a large, design-forward space closer in scale to something found in Chicago. New York creates energy through tight rooms, while Chicago excels at ambitious spaces with strong architectural identities. Bestia captured both advantages and made its considerable footprint feel alive and unified. We sat shoulder to shoulder at a pale stone counter facing the open kitchen. Golden era hip hop was playing, and A Tribe Called Quest still rings a very specific bell. I ordered the squid ink pasta, and it was exquisite, with enough depth and precision to command attention amid everything happening around us. We also spotted an unmistakably A-list celebrity, whom I will leave unnamed, making the night feel quintessentially Los Angeles. During that period, I often stayed at the Ace Hotel downtown, and the Arts District felt vibrant, raw, and full of possibility. The proximity to Skid Row could be deeply jarring, with severe hardship existing beside ambitious development and expensive restaurants. That contrast kept the neighborhood from feeling like a neat story of urban renewal, even as Bestia seemed to anchor its evolution. The warehouses and loading docks gave the area a character that no new development could convincingly recreate. Nearby, I also remember the American Apparel complex during its demise and the rise of impossibly cool Los Angeles designer John Elliott. His Escobar sweatpants and Villain hoodie helped define the kit of that moment; loyalists will understand. Los Angeles is a fickle city, drawn toward whatever is new and shiny, which makes Bestia's longevity especially impressive. Scene without substance is plastic, and Bestia earned its electricity through exceptional cooking, assured service, and a remarkable space; if I lived in Los Angeles, this would be one of the places I'd rely on whenever I wanted to impress someone. This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the world.

With tempered expectations. The meal was largely a success .. a couple of misses that coulda brought me down.. but the highs were so high.. they made up for the missteps. Service. Hostess was super friendly and welcoming. Somethings they can be not so much.. but she was just lovely The actual service was friendly. But like some other reviewers said.. maybe they were a bit over whelmed. I'd label the service and friendly functional. The waiter said we ordered the perfect amount of food. I'd say we ordered 1 too many items. Scallop crudo: a lovely starter. It came really quick after ordering. We were sitting at the cold bar so could see these getting prepped. Drizzled with ground pistachio and a citrus oil. Simple. But delicious. Over priced a bit at $23. Maybe. It was delicious. Who cares Peaches and farmers cheese. Wow o wow did this dish sing. It was just light and lovely. Just the way I love to eat THE cornbread. Could it live up to the HYPE?!? Yes. Oh yes. It borders on being under baked.. ours actually prolly was a bit. But it just makes it that much moist The outside is crispy. Inside moist. It was the single best bite I have had in years. I am in love All is good in the world with this cornbread Tomato Caesar. Our meal took a dip here after three unbelievably fantastic dishes. Were they fine. Yes. The toppings were so strong. I really couldn't taste tomato. While these look great, I'd say skip this dish. Order the green salad instead Next the steak : at $149. I was hoping for greatness. It mostly was. I took a the middle slice and it was great. Our bone marrow was a bit stingy. Only had enough for two slices. But it definitely enhances the steak! As we ate from the middle out. (Animals I know). It bacame apparent that everything but the middle slice was over cooked (ordered medium rare). This steak was cooked medium. So much so the outer 1/3s are dry. A bit disappointing for $150 steak. The server never solicited feedback on the food as it was served, even when we asked to box up half the steak. As they cleared plates.. we did get a "how was it,". Bit not a real check in as to how our food was The mashed potatoes were perfection. I did add some salt that was served with the steak to them as they were slightly....just slightly under seasoned. But still. These are pretty perfect mashed potatoes. We topped it off with cobbler (peach blackberry). It was great. And a small scoop of $9 ice cream .. cookies and cream. I'd skip this favor. Too much cookie. Not enough cream. Al in all. A really wonderful meal. The steak, even though it wasn't cooked perfectly . Was still delicious. That cornbread does live up to the hype. It is my best bite of the year for sure We have reservations again next week. I'm already looking forward to it!

Dunsmoor (Glassell Park) Review…read more Overall: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5 The restaurant has a great atmosphere, but it was extremely loud and very crowded inside. It made it a little difficult to relax and have a conversation. Service: 3/5 The staff was friendly, but they seemed overwhelmed. The restaurant was packed, and it felt like they accepted more guests than they could comfortably handle. It took quite a while for someone to take our drink order, and the food also took a long time to arrive. Noise Level: Very loud Food: 4/5 The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing, and the food quality is there. That said, it feels like Dunsmoor has reached "hipster hype" status, where the buzz may be a little bigger than the overall experience. I'd definitely go back, though, because there are still several appetizers I'd like to try. What We Ordered: - Chicken Liver - 5/5: Absolutely delicious. The rich chicken liver paired perfectly with their incredible sourdough bread. - Green Chile Stew - 5/5: Outstanding. It was packed with large, tender chunks of pork, and the fresh flour tortillas were amazing. - Trout - 3/5: The biggest disappointment of the meal. While the fish was meaty and cooked well, it lacked flavor and felt very basic. - Famous Cornbread - 4/5: Good, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. Final Thoughts: Dunsmoor serves some excellent food, especially the chicken liver and green chile stew, but the overall experience was held back by the long waits and noisy dining room. I can see why it's so popular, but I think some of the excitement is driven by hype. Even so, I'd come back to explore more of the menu.
