Southwest Scramble Bowl

Terrific little spot with a mix of traditional breakfast food plus excellent southern and TexMex options. This is the epitome of diner food done well with generous portions. We had a 5 person party and waited ~10 min for a table. Not bad at all. We were seated outdoors facing the river, which was lovely. Service was quick and attentive without being overbearing. Everyone in our party loved their food. My husband had outstanding biscuits and gravy. He is picky about biscuits, and these were done right. He was delighted! I had the Southwest Bowl, which was so fresh and absolutely delicious. I would absolutely get it again. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping here for a some brunch!

My brother had suggested this place and so we tried it . It's kind of a local place, not fancy at all . The waitress was very attentive and we were able to pull up a coupon on line for buy one meal get second one half price . We ordered the steak sub and it was delicious and we finished it off with the key lime pie. Not the cheapest place to eat lunch for 50.00

This is my fourth time eating here, with visits years apart. Friend from SC came to visit and we had an earlier breakfast so that they could start home mid-morning. I arrived first and was warmly welcomed by the Hostess and asked if I wanted to wait inside for my friends. I did! I then received hot water for tea and a large OJ to get started. My friends arrived and we ordered from the wide variety of breakfast entries and sides. I got my favorite "San Francisco Eggs Benedict," one friend got an Avocado Toast Breakfast Sandwich, and the other got a Belgian Waffle. Everything was tasty and a very nice-sized serving. Our waitperson, Barbie, was friendly, attentive and efficient. She also brought a box out with ingredients of the Hollandaise Sauce so I could ascertain for myself that there was nothing onion in it (allergy). That was so nice!! It was very busy but the hostess kept seating people so she had a good system. Highly recommend!

Tried the waffle and chicken for the first time. Delicious with whipped strawberry butter and served with spicy syrup. Served with a smile. No wait time and plenty of parking. Cost affordable

This is a tiny diner from outside, but inside has quite a bit of room. It is in with Hurricanes and Fresh Market just before or after the bridge (depending on which way you are traveling) Most of the time when we walk in we are told to sit where ever we want. Once on a weekend they made us sit in the back corner and it was freezing, I will request another seat should they sit us there again. I usually order the same thing : Western omelet, sub American for the cheddar and no salsa. They have fresh fruit you can get instead of potatoes which is good. I had their avocado toast once too and it was delicious. My husband changes his food up and his has always been good. They have lunch and dinner too, but we have only been for breakfast. Their dinners are typical diner food. Meatloaf, turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, fried fish etc.

I've eaten at Metro Diner before but not this location. The service was exceptional, I don't know the waitresses's name but she was super fast and friendly. We tried the fish & chips and alls a breakfast platter and avocado toast. It was all surprisingly good. I've always liked Metro, but I am always surprised when I come back. Always quality and consistent. We sat outside and it was nice. Traffic was a bit loud but nonetheless it was enjoyable.

Huevos Rancheros + 2 Two Egg Breakfast

Went out for brunch with a friend today. We had Robin as our server and she has to be one of the best servers I've ever had. We coincidentally get her most of the time when we go and she is incredible. Food and drinks always come out in a timely manner and always correct and she is so so sweet! 10/10 recommend if you come here to ask for her!

The food at this Metro diner is consistently good. This location has very nice outdoor seating with glimpses of the river. The service is quick and polite.

Chicken Cesar Salad

Arrived about 2:00 pm and there was no wait. Ordered Chicken Cesar Salad and peach tea. We let the server know the two of us would be sharing. She had the salad split. Therefore, note the picture is 1/2 of the salad. The salad was good, chicken was moist. Peach tea was very good. Server was nice and attentive. Nice atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating.

The place is small and it was so humid inside, it was more pleasant to sit outside. Pretty much had no interaction with the workers, except to get the food. Ordered on their tablet. I didn't get a drink because they were all crazy mark up!! They had glass coke for $5! When they're $2-3 at certain gas stations. Their fruit juices were more and they had plain coffee that they put in a carafe for $3.. idk ‍ I could maybe pay for that coffee but their other cold brew coffee was over $5. Not to mention I wanted to add bacon to my sandwich, it was like an extra $3-4... my sandwich is already $8 which was the cheapest one on the menu. Idk.. some of these mark ups are just insane. My sandwich was delicious. Bun to egg ratio good. I'd give it an 8/10, oh and I think they forgot my onions here... The burger I wanted was $13, but I wanted to add stuff to it and it was close to $20, and I'm not paying $20 for a sandwich plus $8 for a juice. Husband said his burrito was mid. He didn't finish it. The Mac and cheese is a limited edition one. It tasted pretty good, very cheesy, 7/10.

The owner, Massi, is such a nice guy and loves to tell funny jokes. His wife, Sabrina, isn't always there, but she is the sweetest and always provides my family with the best customer service. Because I have been raving about this place so much, all my relatives love it and go there regularly (yes, they go every weekend). Please don't expect Starbucks drinks from there. They serve authentic Italian style coffee, so you will get a hot caffe latte in a tall glass. The macchiato will be in a small espresso cup. Try their hot cappuccino with whole milk so you can experience the authentic way of making cappuccino (they only use one shot of espresso, and they said that's the Italian way!). Italian hot chocolate is also a favorite among European customers. Sandwiches are always great, and my favorite is prosciutto, arugula, Parmesan cheese, and tomato. It's a perfect spot to gather with friends or family. This cafe is a must try. These pictures are from multiple visits within three years.

We were delighted by their chill atmosphere and that is was classy, but not pretentious. There was live music on the large outdoor seating area which was filling out quite nicely as we approached the dinner hour. We had reservations for two. I recommend reservations, because this is a popular venue with a great reputation. The staff is attentive and friendly. The menu is amazingly varied and I saw many of our favorites with both traditional and yummy twists. The beet salad was a stunning choice, which gorgeous, delicious, and fun texturally. Yummmm. Hubby had the crab soup which was luscious and creamy. I highly recommend the red shrimp! It was life changing! So sweet! We had the calamari which was balanced with some rings of banana peppers. Yummm. I ordered the crispy and beautiful fried whole snapper. What a presentation! Hubby of course had to get the unctuous lobster roll!!! A winner! And he could not resist lobster and grits!!! Drop the mic!!! We were stuffed, but couldn't resist sharing a refreshing key lime pie!!! It all washed down well with our cold ice teas. Our waitress was so personable and patient. We had a blessed evening!
