We were a party of four and each had a different entree. All were excellent! Prior to the meal we had the table side prepared guacamole as an appetizer, which is worth going for by itself. Went for dinner for our 23 aniversary. We started off with table side guacamole. It was terrible, way too much lime. Along with that, order queso. Not bad. Since things hadn't started off good, decided not to experiment and went with basic cheese enchiladas. I love New Mexico style red and green chilli. Unfortunatley, although they boast a "Sante Fe" section on the menu, they have no clue as how to prepare green, or red chili. Server could care less if we were happy with our food. I hate about a third of my plate and could not finish. My wife took hers to go. Thanks for the worst aniversary dinner in 23 years. Not recomend if you enjoy good food. 1st off I want to preface this by saying that Management acted appropriately when the issues with my meal were given. I would not recommend the Mojito, I have never had a mojito from any bar that included Sweet & Sour with Rum...the lack of muddled mint was a profound statement that they do not understand this drink. So, I told them to take it away I would not drink it. When I did that, the service fell through the floor...we were ignored by our waiter and 5 other tables that sat after we had our drinks got served even before we had our order taken, and we had to call someone over just to get that done. I started to just leave, but being with friends who "go here all the time" I decided to stay and wait it out. My Flauta order was very specific, I asked for all the sauces on the side, they came drenched in them instead, I sent those back as well. Then one of the other party members was so insulted by the waiter who did not want to wait on us that he said he was ready to get up and walk out, again, we stayed for our friends. The food we had was okay, not sure we will go there again, but many other people have enjoyed this place so take this for just "our" experience. read more

I am torn because over a year ago we came here and it was wonderful, but I ordered the same dish (sea bass) and it was awful. The fish was cooked nicely but the sauce was watery and bland and the spinach was not seasoned and it just created a watery topping with a watery sauce, it was really unappetizing. What made it worse was our server was extremely inattentive and I waited and waited for her to tell her I was not happy. I actually had to flag down a different server. I told my husband to eat his food because it was getting cold waiting by the time I was able to give feedback. It was disappointing because we were there for an anniversary date. The replacement dish was delicious (sea bass tacos) but the experience was extremely sullied and it was hard to enjoy myself now, because I was basically eating by myself in a hurry (to make our movie time). This place was not expected at all. Fabulous little Mexican restaurant that uses super high quality ingredients. First, the queso was ah-mazing! The tortilla chips and salsa are both very good, which was much appreciated. I tend to find that either the salsa is good and the chips are stale or great chips and watery salsa and bland queso. It was a pleasant surprise to have all be super delicious. The steak and chicken fajitas were top notch with fantastic caramelized onions. Other members of our party got the chipotle ribs (super tender, but a bit on the spicy side for our son), applewood fajitas (quite spicy), and duck enchiladas with mole. This dish was a hit with everyone at the table. Drinks were very well done. Looking forward to going back to try more of the menu and margaritas. read more

We ave eaten here twice since my last review and I must say, the food was very good, the waitstaff was attentive and even with a large party- we were all served at the same time and they remembered who ordered what. Mi Dia has quite an ecclectic menu, my husband loved the quail- his only complaint was that it should have come with sides, instead of just having quail on the plate by itself. It is a beautiful restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Great tasting food. The wait staff we had was the worst. After we were sat by a great host staff the horrible experience began. Our waiter Max seamed to ignored us constantly. It took forever to take our order. We ordered queso and it came before we had our chips and salsa. After we finally got our food our drinks took forever to refill. Forget about trying to pay I wrote all this and still have not paid. I guess Max does not believe in customer service or he decided to alienate us specifically. When he finally came he said he had other customers to wait on. I was wondering if we are not customers. Mi Dia has fantastic food, drinks and servers! Need to work on the hostess girls. Walked in on a busy Friday to 3 just standing there talking. Didn't greet us, barely acknowledged me when I went up to the them. One girl came up from sitting others down and said hi. Finally someone working! She tried to get my name and tell me wait time etc, One of the high school girls interrupted her and took my name - told me it will be a while (not really giving me a wait time) and I had to dig - do you mean like 15 mins or an 2 hours? Give me something. I could tell she just kinda threw something out and guessed 30 mins. Knowing it was a busy Friday, we said no problem, can we sit in the bar? I got an eye roll and a shrug. I almost wanted to say forget it - we will go somewhere we are welcomed. For this restaurant to be so stellar, one would think there would be more focus on the girls up front - who are supposed to "greet" and make your guests feel welcome. They did the exact opposite. Total lack of care. The rest of the place is amazing and I'd love to give 5 stars, but your hostesses are an important aspect to your business that do effect the whole experience. read more

Mi Dias has great food, great atmoshere and a well trained, friendly staff. The food is both traditional, yet has some unique surprises. All very fresh and tasty and of very good quality . The salsa, with the chips you get at your table, has some heat so if you are a mild salsa kind of person you may want to cut the heat with a little sour cream.
