Sorry to say I was just there. I ordered my burrito in a few tacos and I have to say the few times I've been there. The burrito was terrible. I ordered the green chili Verde burrito. I don't know if they deliberately accidentally made my burrito with no sauce whatsoever, it was just chunks of meat with rice. It was not edible. I spent over $100 and I drew it in the trash. The taquitos was soggy. The tacos was terrible.

I came here for years for the Monday special on flautas, but this is the first time visiting for breakfast. The quaint little restaurant has been a modest staple and always well kept. Parking is easy, seating inside is available, and ordering at the counter is always a pleasant experience. The women working the counter this morning weren't just nice, they were engaging and had a great humor to them. The Salsa bar doesn't have many options, but the ones they have are tasty. This morning I went back to the basics and got the Bacon breakfast burrito and added potato (surprised that potato isn't included). The burrito is a decent size and they give it a nice toast on the griddle after it's wrapped. They use a more layered approach to the filling. A large loosely scrambled egg that comes out like a folded omelet is the base. The potato they use is nicely seasoned, the same they use for potato tacos, it's a large smash, and with the layers it works and doesn't overwhelm like many hash-brown application tend to do. The bacon is pleasantly crisp on the edges with a nice chew, cheese was plentiful and, where it mingled with the egg and potato, melted nicely. There was some outlier cheese that didn't have a neighboring heat source and didn't melt, but maybe I needed to let it sit a minute more. Overall the location and service is easily 5 stars. The Burrito was good, not great, but easily one of the best values, if I hadn't added potato it was a $10 burrito and With potato still under $12. That is hard to find. Personally the layers and omelet-like egg aren't my top preference and I do wish they had a green salsa available. Overall, the breakfast burrito experience with the Bacon breakfast burrito with added potato gets 4.2 stars.

Great food, friendly staff! The pricing on food is affordable. The interior is always clean and well stocked.

Friday fish tacos special $2.80 each, regularly $3.90. Absolutely delicious! It was really large. My picture shows about 1/3 of the contents.

Delicious!! Best tacos in town. They were hot, fresh and the plentiful. This is definitely our go to place for Mexican food.

I ordered the chilaquiles verde and my husband order the chilaquiles rojo and added carne asada. I do appreciate a cook that can make over easy eggs just as I like them so I was glad about that but I'm going to be honest when I say that my chilaquiles were seriously lacking in flavor and spice, so I was sadly disappointed. My husband said his carne asada was good but that his chilaquiles were bland and definitely not spicy at all. Although he did enjoy their beans. I would have told them I didn't enjoy my but unfortunately after we were served our waitress never returned to check on us or refill our water. This was our second time here, we'd tried it once before and the food was decent that trip. We plan on giving it another try as we saw they had a good variety for mariscos, but yeah don't bother disappointing yourself with the chilaquiles. ‍

We ordered tacos off the al a carte menu and tbh we were completely underwhelmed. I ordered a shredded beef taco and chicken taco. Waitress ordered 3 instead. Our ordered arrived and we were no provided any additional salsa as the tacos came with meat, lettuce and cheese...this is a Mexican restaurant. The tacos were bland and unseasoned. I was disappointed that street tacos were not on the menu. The tab for 5 tacos, two margaritas and 6 al a carte tacos was $77. I hate to give bad reviews but I felt the need to be completely honest with our experience. Server was good but not great for a half busy restaurant.

Is it the absolute best Mexican food I've ever had? Probably not. But the food is solid, reliable, and always enjoyable, which is exactly why I keep coming back. Now, if you're a fan of drinks, music, and a festive atmosphere, this place definitely brings the party. It has that lively, colorful Mexican restaurant vibe, and I personally love that they have live music on certain days. My little one and I especially enjoy sitting outside in their enclosed patio area. It's such a nice little setup! Depending on the day and time, it can get pretty packed, but I've honestly never had a bad experience here. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is fun, and the food is something you can count on. So no, I'm not going to crown Guadalajara the king of all Mexican food--but sometimes you don't need culinary fireworks. Sometimes you just want good food, a fun atmosphere, some music, and a place that consistently delivers. And Guadalajara does exactly that.

I got the tamale plate which comes with generous sides of rice and beans...I would have preferred more tamale for my tamale plate. The rice was dry and gritty but paired decent with the very mushy beans. The tamale was a bit bland as well. I did enjoy the chips and freshly made salsa though that comes free with the entree. There are no single menu items like you can't order just one taco or one tamale by itself without getting a whole platter of other things. The server was friendly and didn't rush us even past 10pm.
