Heard about and saw this place for longest time. Visited last month and will visit again. Freshly prepared food with good taste and portions. Family friendly and little high prices for some entrees. I would like to advise some wait staff to be happy, you are in hospitality business. People could be demanding and just be more welcoming. Came here for lunch. Ordered the chicken fried steak and it was superb! I asked for gravy on the side. I got a crispy hot delicious meal. The green beans and backed potato salad was excellent as well. The strawberry lemonade is excellent here. It had great strawberry's. Walking out we got free ice cream for us and the kids. My toddler had the chicken strips and my husband had the fried chicken. Theirs were great. I had the meatloaf and was burned on the bottom of both slices. The strawberry lemonade us amazing, and you can get a free plain ice cream cone. There was a sigh saying that crew members would serve drinks because of covid, but I saw no one there the whole time. So I guess by definition that should tell me this is definitely not a. 5 star place and probably not a 4 star place. First off I think the place is expensive for the amount of food you get. I think their chicken dishes are pretty good, particularly their chicken fried steak and fried chicken. One of the workers said their tacos are not that great and I would have to agree. Ate at Mia's Table one Sunday afternoon just looking for something different in the area. Ordering the food wasn't as expected in that you walk up to the counter and order like you would at a fast food establishment then you sit down and it's brought out to you like a sit down restaurant. We got the patty melt and the chicken fried steak and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of both. My only complaint about the patty melt was how strong the flavor of the onions were. The chicken fried steak was extremely good and the jalapeño country gravy was top notch. I would give Mia's Table five stars if they were just a little more formal. The food was sit down restaurant quality, the price is sit down restaurant price but the ordering process and dining experience were a little too casual. read more

I've wanted to try this restaurant every time I drive from Houston to Conroe. Last night I had the opportunity to, and I have to say, it was a let down. Let me start by saying the restaurant itself is super cute. The decor is farm to market and very cute. There is a wide selection on the menu and I appreciate that the clearly indicate which meals are more health conscious. The portion sizes are very generous. Bessie's taco salad could easily feed 2-3 people. My disappointment came in the food itself. It was by no means bad. But it wasn't worth the cost we paid. My bison burger was DRY. The patty was super thin, and since bison is lean, it can over cook quickly. This one did. Secondly, there was no seasoning on the burger at all. Not even salt and pepper. They couldn't have put more than a drop of mustard on it. and the fire that came with it, while nice and crispy, also lacked any seasoning. For $18, I just expected more flavor. My husbands taco salad was also bland and he did not care for the queso. Maybe we should have stuck to the traditional meals, but I left feeling like I had wasted $45 on my meal. read more

Mathis last time we got the fried pickles and onion rings. Both were great appetizers we also ordered the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy mashed potatoes and baked beans. It was excellent! Steak tacos with chips and queso. Again excellent the tacos are a bit spicy but delicious the chips and queso are perfect. Kids corn dog with fresh fruit and chicken strips with Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese is the good kind homemade and the batter in the corn dog is fresh. We also got the pork chops with black eyed peas and a side salad with ranch. It was fine. The also have a frozen yogurt machine. The kids enjoyed that. My absolute favorite is the strawberry juice drink it is delicious. I get it every single time read more

Visited for first time today with my family for lunch. Deciding on our order took a bit of time as we had to stand back and look up at computerized menu board on wall before getting in line to order at counter. Decent variety of choices, nothing really unique, mostly typical Southern American fare. We opted for the chicken salad sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich, beef tacos (with all the fixings on side because my young daughter is super picky), and kids Mac and Cheese (looked to be made in house and was nice & creamy). I used most of the taco toppings to doctor up my grilled chicken sandwich, not because it didn't have flavor to begin with but so as not to be wasteful. The French fries were really good and crisp with soft centers and we all enjoyed our queso appetizer. Otherwise, we thought everything was just ok, nothing special and not leaving us wanting to come back soon. (3 stars) The service was friendly, main part of restaurant was clean, food came out fast, and self-serve to-go container area to box up leftovers was definitely appreciated. For these reasons, I raised my overall review to 4 stars. I can see why this place is popular, it just won't be a repeat go-to for us. read more

10 for 10 for screwing up our meals. Gave them the benefit of the doubt during COVID but now it's ridiculous. Love the food that we continue to go back, even for my birthday dinner. Every time we have to go back if do not check before leaving. This last time the got mad us for ordering online. Considering it is the same woman everytime and every one of our 4 meals was wrong, I think we should be mad at her. We just simply won't go anymore until management or expiditers change. read more

Food was good. Nothing spectacular but wasn't expecting high end food either. The turkey burger was the best (I love goat cheese). Hubby got the fish tacos and they were just ok. Kiddo had the fried catfish and he seemed to like it. Onion rings are awesome too. The only thing that kind of bothered me was the noise level and how close tables are to each other. I couldn't hear the conversation at our own (small) table and we all kept yelling "WHAT?!" to figure out what was being said. Rude management, Gustavo he says his name was, orders were incorrect, and then when asked to correct the issue, he was rude and also said that he was unable to because they were closed now. So my family had no food after ordering it and being charged for it. When I tried calling, I hung up and was very rude and kept saying nothing I could do to help you. I am very disappointed in this place we had been going there and lately them getting orders correctly and not being able to make the experience horrible. This place is not helping itself when they have rude management either. If even management can't help to ensure customer satisfaction. With things so high spending money, you should receive what you paid for and good quality items and service, especially for what they charge. Almost 100.00 for a kids meal, and two entrees, really. Good food, good service, family friendly atmosphere, prices are appreciative. The food is traditional America food and I haven't had anything that has been a disappointment. The individuals at the counter will make recommendations and they have steered me in the right direction several times. It can be quick or relaxing which is always a plus because it seems other restaurants are either or. Great experience, fresh food, amazing juices! I had the Hickory Burger straight, it was juicy, cheesy, and full of bbq. It was delicious and I wanted another! The potato salad that came with it was phenomenal and just the right kind of pairing for it. My wife had the beef tacos and they looked amazing but definitely not enough for my big belly lol. The queso was good but have had better. The soft serve machine broke down before we got to it but they had Blue Bell soft serve ready for everyone.
