Was in the mood for Chinese cuisine, so stopped in for the first time at Michi Sushi. I was the only person in the restaurant, which was a little weird, but a few people came in for takeout. Had the General Tso Chicken with pork fried rice. Food tasted ok. It wasn't the best or worst I had. Service was almost non-existent. I had to get the sushi chef's attention to get drink refills. Would I go back? Maybe, but there are a lot more Chinese restaurants in the area I'd rather try first. 3-Star.

Every morsel and current of exchange was met with a degree of absolute serenity. My feet are still turning in sand I thought I was in because I never left mentally. Thank you Sushi people.

I will say Michi has done a better job with their rice to fish/vegetable ratio. Their sushi is really good and really affordable. I love their lunch specials. I recommend trying it out!

They are currently only doing takeout orders, and it's pretty much impossible to come into contact with the employees, so I feel completely safe ordering from them. The Philadelphia and spicy tuna rolls were both pretty decent, and for the price A+. I will definitely be coming back : )

Great sushi, sushi specials/deals, and bento box dinners! Huge variety of food. Great for sushi lovers. The best deals is their specialty rolls that are buy one get one half off every day. The bento boxes during dinner are big and have a large variety. The shrimp spring rolls are the best appetizer. I've been to this place on more times than I can count on both hands. Fantastic for the price, service, parking, etc.

My brother and I came to this restaurant for lunch while I was in town..he used to work nearby and visited frequently..we started with a spicy crab roll and a hurricane roll..the presentation was beautiful and the quality was impeccable..we also had some lunch boxes and went with the soup because it was a cold and rainy day..i had the curry chicken and the meal came with some rice and some California roll pieces and some tempura veggies..it was all amazing and the server came to refill our drinks often..the inside of the restaurant is sleek and designed really well with access for you to see the sushi magic happening..i would definitely go here often if I lived in Pa

Hands down my favorite sushi place in West Chester. I have been here countless times--averaging 1-2x/month in the last 2 years--and have tried every sushi roll on the Specialty menu. The buy one roll, get one half off deal is unbeatable; there aren't many other sushi places that do that. And if you're going out to eat with your whole family, you can end up saving a lot if each person gets a roll. My favorites are the Eagle roll (if you like cream cheese; this one also comes out warm!); and the Yummy Yummy roll. The shrimp pad thai is also some of the best I've had. They don't overdo it with the sauce and give you a big portion. I'm also a huge noodle person and love the Udon - both the Yaki Udon dish (sauteed) and the Udon noodle soup. For appetizers, I often order the edamame (cooked just right to a great firmness and with the right amount of salt) and/or seaweed salad. I will say the few times I've ordered dessert I have not been that impressed. It seems like the desserts come from a box of frozen desserts that they've left in the freezer for some time and let thaw for a few minutes once the order gets put in. However, the rest of the items on the menu are all great and the service is super fast. Our favorite waitress is Anna - super friendly and always greets us by name and remembers our drinks (since we're such regulars :) ) and John behind the counter is sweet, too. Love this place!

I went to Michi a few years ago and hated it. My rolls were dry and inedible. A friend recently convinced me to go back and try it again and I am so happy I gave in. They definitely changed something because now Michi is one of my top sushi restaurants around West Chester. First time I went I ordered the sushi bento box and everything was great! I went back and ordered a few special and regular rolls. Everything was great, modern decor and good service

The restaurant is clean and nicely maintained, and I liked the cool ambiance. We started with pan-fried pork and chicken dumplings. They were the perfect texture and temperature and the sauce was good. I only tried one of the pork dumplings, which by itself lacked flavor. I enjoyed the delicious Tom Kha Gai soup -- best part of my meal. I ordered the Red Hot Roll, which was beautifully presented but was just OK. It was not spicy at all and had a weird aftertaste. I couldn't put my finger on it: I thought it was the wasabi or avocado, but it still tasted funny without them. It was disappointing. The teens had Crunchy Spicy Tuna Rolls, which they liked but also noticed a subtly odd flavor. They finished with tempura fried ice creams (one vanilla, one chocolate) and I had a green tea ice cream. No issues there. Service was satisfactory. Our server was attentive and accurate, and our water glasses stayed filled. Overall, it was average -- not bad, but nothing special. I would probably not return.

I used to frequent Poseidon--mostly for lunch, sometimes for dinner, and a few times for takeout…read more One evening in the summer, I stopped in to order takeout. The young woman at the desk was engaged in a conversation with her friend. Both were about 17-19. I stood patiently waiting for quite a while. Finally I spoke up and said "May I see the takeout menu?" She handed one to me, and went back to her conversation. The "friend" sneered at me and moved so that she was blocking me from the register. I couldn't believe it. After a while I looked at the employee and finally said "Oh hey, I am ready to order." She glanced up and nodded. But went back to listening to her "friend." At this point I walked up to the register and said "Excuse me but I'd like to order." The "friend" GLARED at me, spitting venom from every pore. Then she launched into a TIRADE. I ignored her and placed my order. I won't lie though, I was fn shaking. Here I am, a middle-aged woman who's endured some trauma and BS in my life and come out on the other side, and this nasty little B is taking me on?! She continued to glare at me the entire time I was there waiting for my food, up to and including when I walked out the door. It was APPALLING. How no one got involved is just disgusting. I spoke to an employee and asked for the manager/owner. She said they weren't there. I left my name and number and asked for a call back. Heard nothing. The food is OK--not worth abuse. I never went back to Poseidon.

It's a bit of a conundrum to find the entrance; it's on the back side, up a flight of stairs. The dining room brims with families, couples, groups of friends, seniors--all walks of life. One table away from me, sat a father and young son heartily munching on their dinners. I decided to ask them about the menu. The father told me that they come here once a month because his son is a picky eater, but loves GuGu's cooking, so consumes everything on his plate; and the dad thinks the place is the bomb. Started with the gyoza appetizer and enjoyed it very much. My seaweed salad was fresh and generous although the dressing was not to my liking, however able to change it up with some soy sauce and wasabi. A red curry duck main that I went with was luscious, meaty and satisfying. All dishes were nicely presented. Service is professional. I appreciate the linen-like, deposable napkins that are a part of the place setting--nicely absorbent. I agree with others that it takes time for food to arrive, but worth the wait.

I really enjoyed the twist on the typical walnut shrimp dish. I liked the fried shrimp in the bang bang dish best. My only gripe about that dish was that there was not enough sauce. The shrimp in the Thai basil dish was small and I would not get that again. The miso soup was on the salty side for us but it is a generous portion. The shrimp tempura roll was good and comes with 5 larger pieces. Overall, I enjoyed the food here and think that they do a really nice job with take-out. Would come back here again when I'm in the area.

I had nine different Baos and some were good, but some were suboptimal. A few of my favorites were the Bang Bang, lil Bao Wow, and Bao Boa which the combination of flavors made sense on a bao and they didn't fall apart as easily due to the amount of filling they had or how soaked they were from the steam. The yenta, prime time, and crispy chick were okay. I wish there was a little bit more sauce on each one. I feel like the yenta would've been better with a larger pizza of pastrami as cutting it so thin and tiny sort of destroyed the flavor of it. The gringo was a bit on the drier side and the sticky chicky was underwhelming, I think it needed something extra to enhance the flavor profile of it. Lastly, I had the Hot Motha Clucka which was my least favorite of the nine. Not enough buffalo sauce and too much blue cheese, ultimately the blue cheese overpowered everything else and made this one a bit distasteful. The prices were also not much better, Nine Baos for $47 is absurd.
