Great service overall and we didn't even purchase anything.. my bf and I went to see if we would buy some tires and we decided not too after all but they still did us the favor and were kind enough to lift the car to check the tires out and see if they needed to be replaced. Took my girlfriend's car first to Purrfect for a smog. They told her she needed $900 of work including hoses and a pump. She then went to Midas where I have had my car serviced, always with good work at a fair price. Charles is a no nonsense guy...very fair and honest. He said the hose was loose and that they tightened the clamp. They then inspected the rest of the car and found no issues. No charge! Kudos to Charles and Midas. Took my CTS to get work on power steering done and was impressed...1/2 the cost of other shops estimates and while waiting watched and these guys with other customers. They were honest, professional and VERY helpful. I have been in town for 30 yrs and like what I see in this shop. I didn't even think Midas would install these parts but after calling them for an estimate I went this morning and they handled it. WARNING: DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION Worst customer experience I have ever received. I call in the morning shortly after opening hours to schedule an appointment. I clearly state on the phone that I would like to use a Groupon voucher. The Midas employee on the phone says "ehh psh i don't know my 7:30 didn't, how fast can you get here" I arrive in 10 minutes as I told him on the phone. When speaking with him he cut me off every chance he could get. Terrible conversation skills. I was not greeted at all and he was very disrespectful. Upon giving him my info, I state that I have a groupon for the brake service and he says "nope you can't use that, you need an appointment to use a groupon" Why the hell would you tell me to come in when I stated that on the phone prior and you said you could fit me in, nonetheless I didn't even get a chance to explain that I was already at another Midas that told me to redeem it at your location because he kept cutting me off as if he was super busy despite me being the only one in the shop. I ended up calling the next nearest Midas and a completely different pleasant experience and was able to get an earlier appointment. Please, please, please, do not go to this location. They always do a great job and take your Groupon no questions asked. No attitude. Jimbo is the "newish" manager (since the last time I was here) and he's personable and trustworthy. Place is clean and offers a restroom and drinks while you wait. They always get me right in w an appointment, which is usually a pain anywhere else including a dealer. Haven't been to this Midas in probably 10 years. Couldn't remember why I stopped going. I thought I would try it out again, and quickly realized why I never go here. The customer-service was terrible. Not friendly, and not upfront about the costs of maintenance. No smiles. Wanted to change everything out, when there was still plenty of wear on brake pads left. I asked them to only do the basic required maintenance, and they seemed disgruntled that they didn't screw me out of $1600, and instead only laid $270 for pads and rotors on one axle. I've been looking for a trustworthy auto shop in Henderson for quite some time, so glad I checked this Midas out! We've taken our cars here for modifications, routine maintenance, oil changes, etc. and always had a great experience. The staff is always very helpful, even when they are slammed on the weekends. Very professional, fair prices, and an obvious focus on customer service make this shop a go-to for anyone in the area. They even let me, a 30 year old man, jump in the bounce castle on customer appreciation day (don't worry it was empty!) if that isn't awesome I don't know what is. read more

I WILL NEVVVVVER give my business to this company again. I had been to this location on THREE different occasions for a wheel alignment. I had purchased a groupon good until September of this year which includes a 12 month alignment warranty. The 1st time OK I understand I also needed strut and control arm replacements and they could not do an alignment, fine. I got those problems fixed (elsewhere I might add, because they wanted to charge me $1900 for the job) Once fixed I made an appointment online for a Friday morning, I got a call from a representative and was told unfortunately they did not have an alignment technician there and if I could come another day, so I agreed to come in that following Monday at 3pm. I get there for the appointment and work to be done and I'm told "wait, we don't have you in the system for an appointment today and have no technician for an alignment today." Pissed at this point I said fine and scheduled yet ANOTHER appointment for today 01/02/2021. I get there and now I'm told that I cannot use my Groupon because they just switched owners as of yesterday and my groupon which I already paid into was no longer valid. The only thing they were willing to day was price match the groupon if i could prove how much I paid for it. I did not come in expecting to have to pay for something which I already paid for and with a better deal because they were not going to give me the same warranty which the offer had. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE business. I would not recommend you waste you time or money here. Go somewhere else, you will be better off in not having to deal with the BS. Sh%%ty customer service. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! IF MIDAS DOESN'T WANT TO HONOR A GROUPON PURCHASED BY A CUSTOMER THEY SHOULDN'T FABRICATE WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE ON YOUR CAR!!!! My car A/C went out two weeks ago and luckily I found a GROUPON for MIDAS (A/C-recharge service for a car with up to 32 oz of freon $59.99) I finally got enough time to take it in so I made an appointment. I told the guy my A/C went out but hot air is still blowing from the vents. The heating still works perfectly fine; however, every time I switch to the air conditioning I can hear a hissing sound. I told him I was pretty sure I needed the A/C recharge and I handed him the Groupon. He says, "Sure, we'll take a look at it." About an hour and a half later the guy says, "Ok I got some bad news." He gives all this mumbo jumbo about what's wrong and all I hear is $1,063.04! I was SHOCKED AND DUMBFOUNDED! I asked him, so the A/C recharge didn't work at all?" He says no. I told him that I was pretty shocked by that because I've only had this car since January 2013 and I know the guy I bought it from did extensive replacement of most of hoses and belts. I say to him, "So what EXACTLY do I need done to make my A/C work?" He gives me the mumbo jumbo again. Finally I asked him for an estimate with EXACTLY what needed to be done in order for my A/C to work and a second with all the other things that were wrong. Now, mind you... he said they performed the A/C rechargeinspection. And the estimate stated it as well. FULL ESTIMATE: *A/C Hose : remove & replace PARTS: $154.65 LABOR: $159.68 *Radiator: remove & replace PARTS: $199.99 LABOR: $349.30 *EXTENDED LIFE COOLANT FLUSH SERVICE Complete cooling system flush with extended life antifreeze/coolant PARTS: $101.45 LABOR: $8.59 TOTAL PARTS: $456.09 TOTAL LABOR: $517.52 TOTAL: $1,063.04 So I looked at this and I asked so if I had you replace the A/C Hose right now my air conditioning will 100% be working again? He said, "Yes that's what you need done in order for you A/C to work. (Mind you that estimate is only $349.31) I asked, "So you're saying I have a leak in my radiator, right? Wouldn't I see the liquid leaking from underneath my car?" He looks at me and says, " Not necessarily." I basically told him I wanted to think about it but in reality I wanted a second opinion because I just didn't believe him. The next morning I went to Auto Tech (I go here because for the past 3 years I've been buying a Groupon for Unlimited Oil Changes for $39). I asked them why my air wasn't working and if they check if my A/C hose needed to be replaced. They told me no and it just looked like I just need an A/C recharge. This made me pretty pissed off. I called a friend and they told me that Jiffy Lube offers the A/C recharge but that if it doesn't work and your air conditioning isn't working afterward, you do not pay a cent. So I headed straight there. 2 hours later... my air conditioning was working like new! AND... only cost $160.60!!!!!! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE AND I PLAN ON TAKING FURTHER ACTION!!!! I was told if I got my car there by 4pm they could get me in. I was there by 4:10, and was told they could not get me in. Wtf? THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW: Allow me to be candid, your series of events are completely inaccurate regarding my behavior AND the "compensation" you allegedly offered. First, is this Joe or Carl responding because your response is personally driven not professionally driven. Either way let's tell everyone what really happen according to a paying customer. Lie number one is that your company doesn't strive to reach the highest level of customer service. In fact, you strive to misdiagnose the most customers allotted in a day in an attempt to increase your financial gain; hints the endless other negative reviews posted along with mine. In regards to bending over backwards, you didn't even literally bend forward the 2nd time, the time I came back informing you of your misdiagnosis, to even look at my car. You offered me five free oil changes which isn't even equivalent to the money I originally spent. You did NOT discount my services by 40% which I have a receipt to prove you're lying again. There was no coolant in my vehicle after you serviced it which is why I had to put the coolant in my car myself; that too I have a receipt for and footage. Also, I believe you may be mistaking my aggression for assertiveness. I'm sure it's difficult for a man to take direction from a woman however that's an issue you'll have to address within yourself. I've only been to your location and I'm certain YOUR system will reflect that. You never offered to look at my vehicle for free considering the conflict began when you said that you would CHARGE me to look at it again. Once again you never looked at my car so how could you discover a non-functional component or offer additional services...you can't. One truth, is that I did call the police on YOU and because I handled myself respectfully the police have conveniently provided me with a police report to support what happened. Oh and the surveillance footage you're speaking of, is simply a video recording your employee (Carl who walked aggressively towards me) recorded without my permission. Speaking of that, you do NOT have my permission to release, use, or distribute any footage of me. Next, the officers didn't make me leave, I voluntarily left after my report was completed. Oh and regarding your "sorry" ... I know you're sorry, it's obvious in your poor customer service, your unethical business practices, your inability to resolve customer service issues, your unprofessional response to my original review, and it's evident many other customers (according to you ratings) agree that you are sorry as well. You continue being sorry. I have my recordings and I have your response to add to my collection of evidence. Took my car in without an appointment because the engine was smoking. Needed new belts and my ac compressor had seized. They did a great job, Richard the manager explained everything, they were done in about 2 hours and the price was great. Plus free Wifi in the lobby. Yesterday I took it in for an oil change, I asked for a brake inspection because they've been squeaking. Pete was wonderful, explained everything, even took me in the shop and gave me a 'brakes 101 lesson' which means a lot since I'm female. I even got my hands dirty touching the worn out rotors and pads! I asked to see the pads they replaced and no problem, he showed me the worn out ones and even opened up a new box to show me what they should look like! He also printed out what the manufacturer suggests and what I would need in the future.Talk about an honest shop and the most helpful mechanic I've ever met! Being a female, I can't say that's never happened to me (sadly)! I was also a little hesitant because of some of the not-so-good reviews, but I'm glad I ignored them! Decent quick service but I won't be back. I went here for an oil change last week and everything went fine. Only took 20 mins. Dude at the counter was friendly and helpful. However when I looked in my center console yesterday to get some coins out of my change box all my change was gone. No one else has been in my car since getting my oil changed so I'm 100% sure one of the guys took my change while I left the shop to do an errand during the oil change. I asked if there was another Midas I could go to. I was directed to Windmill and Pecos. I called and they had me go right over. Let me just say that having engine trouble pop up at 5:59 on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend is a bad thing. The good thing is that it happened directly in front of this Midas shop. I went in with my head hung low as I figured I would be told to beat it because they were closing in one minute. I explained to the manager, Craig, what was wrong. He suggested that I bring it back first thing in the morning. I explained to him that I was on my way to California for the weekend with my two kids, and honestly, I wouldn't even make it to my home in Mountain's Edge. He quickly changed his mind and said he would ask the mechanic if he would mind taking a quick look to see if it was something simple. The mechanic, Kevin, agreed to take a look without even making a fuss and even said he was happy to help! The other mechanic on duty, LoLo, was eager to help as well and held the flashlight for Kevin. They kept the shop open just for me. Kevin was nimble with the tools and found the problem right away. Indeed a hose had gone bad. He spent a good 15-20 minutes digging out the old, corroded hose. Lucky for me, they had the hose I needed. Not only did he replace the hose, but they didn't even charge me!! This kind of customer service and kindness is the type of thing you just don't see anymore. I stopped by the store Monday morning to thank them again and let them know their repair got my family safely to California and back with no problems. I can't thank these gentlemen enough! read more

This is a great place they have here. I took my relatively new 2014 Ford F150 in for an oil change on a Saturday April 4, 2015 a bit before noon. Place looks great inside; nice and clean. The owner Damian was there so I dropped off the keys and grabbed a seat to watch Netflix on the TV while it was done. One Dr. Pepper and a snack from the bar later and everything was done. It got busy at noon and there was about an hour wait for those that came in just after noon instead of the ~30min turn-around. If you're planning on going on a Saturday, make sure to get there before 11am before everyone else starts swamping the place! The Ford Dealership is way across town from here so it's good to have a dependable place to take the new truck for service nearby. If you're looking for good service and a good clean environment, without the usual pressured upsells like you find at most repair shops, you should check this place out. --WD read more

Absolute god damn shit I paid $536 for breaks they are horrible they constantly chirp when turning left and now just recently they sound like old breaks coming to a stop these are brand new breaks and rotors complete waste of money my vehicle has been back multiple times just to be told to break them in it's been almost a year I put a lot of miles on this car and I've never left a shop with noisy breaks being told to break them in now I will have to pay the dealership to correct there mistake thank you Midas touch for costing me more money read more
