Took my 2005 ford f-150 for a check engine light.$1000 2 days later, light back on, took it back, fixed it, nope back on, took it back, said needs tune up, $800, because I keep bringing back, they will do it for five hundred. Got tune up. 2 days later check engine light back on. Said the fired the macanic. New manager now mark. Tool it back a total of 7 times, light still on and now they waned $900 for knock sensor, but since I've been back so many times they will charge me $480. I said no I will pick it up. $1500 dollars light still on. They were all nice, but nice didn't fix my truck, break masters on Craig rd even worse. read more

I chose this Midas location after reading all the excellent reviews since it was reopened by a new owner and new management back in September 2025. When I arrived for my appointment I noticed right off how clean the waiting area and the shop both were. Mark greeted me as I walked in then let me know exactly what they would be doing to my vehicle and kept me updated throughout the entire process (full brake inspection and repair of rear brakes). I also had the chance to watch him interact with other customers. All were given the same friendly and knowledgeable treatment that was given to me. Though I didn't interact with the mechanics I could see they took good care of the vehicles they were working on and worked smoothly through each task. Based on this visit I plan to use this Midas location again when the need arises. read more

I took my truck in for a check engine light, and 7 trips back and $1500 later My check engine light is still on and now they wanted $900 more, but said they will do it for $480 due to me coming back so many times.7 times i took my truck back and seven times something different. 3 managers at the same store and my truck is still not fixed. if you take your vehicle there you will see. The one manager was nice, but nice did not fix my truck. They said they had to fire the 1at tech and the other two guys talk a good game, but not even sure they have a license. I wrote letters, not one person has responded. I'm 67 years old and can't keep paying hundreds of dollars for their mistakes. call me and i'll talk to you about it. My husband took our car in because we were having issues we paid for a diagnostic and they told us they were sure what the problem was and charged us an arm and a leg to fix it...We pick it up after paying thousands of dollars and the problem was WORSE! We contacted them and went up there the manager was extremely RUDE and dismissive telling my husband they fixed what they fixed based on what he was saying was wrong with the car but my husband is no mechanic why did we pay for a diagnostic if you went off what you THOUGHT my husband said was wrong? You are supposed to be the professionals you are supposed to diagnose the problem and fix it and they didn't! He told us he could not print the diagnostic out because his printer was not working..yeah right! We also asked about the pricing of the parts as we called around to every dealership since he said he got all the parts from the dealership and the parts were priced waaaay cheaper than Midas charged us! We asked to see the receipt from the dealership and he said the internet was down oh how convenient! He got upset and told my husband he didn't have anything else to say he didn't want to talk to us anymore! No apology no urgency to fix the issue fix what they messed up! They never test drove the car to even see the issues we had all he said he did was back out and pull back into a parking space like that was going to show anything as we told him the issues occur while we are DRIVING the vehicle on the road or freeway! Charged us for work that we didn't need although they were positive that was the issue! They are unprofessional and under educated in the field they work in! I then asked for his district managers contact information and he refused saying he doesn't have his own bosses number or email and only knows his first name! Just a JOKE ! One of the oddest experiences I've had at a service shop to date. Strolled in looking for a simple oil change on a truck. Started to get set up giving my info and the truck info. In conversation I mentioned how it is my elderly neighbors vehicle and because of her Parkinson's we drive her specifically to and from her doctors appointments but other than that is doesn't get used so it's time for an oil change. He then said he couldn't service the vehicle at all because it doesn't belong to me. Said it's a Nevada law and we could get in big trouble for that. Well I looked it up, contacted my personal vehicle mechanics and confirmed that what I was told is not true. So I took it to pep boys up the street out of convenience, had a laugh with them over the story, and they had no problem doing the oil change for us ten minutes later. read more

I was inform by the attendant (after showing up there at 9 am then returning at 11 ) that for my car it would be a $100 plus tax oil change due to the price of the filter and because it takes more oil. I knew something was off when I got there. Of course they "find" something else wrong. Suddenly I needed a new tire and air filter. Told them I had a warranty on the tire. Charged me an extra $50 for that. Claimed they fixed my tire but they took it off and put it back on. Later that day I got a flat which was obviously inconvenient. The oil was clean so they at least did that. IDK if they actually changed the oil filter but my tire was fine before I got there. After I said Id take care of the tire myself they just left my car sitting to take care of other customers to make me think they were "fixing" something. Its frustrating one has to go through so much B.S. because the people here cant be trusted to just do their dam job and not do something conniving. The sad part is I dont even have a good suggestion of where TO go. But dont go here. read more

Last wednesday Jan, 19 2023 i call midas, 365 N Nellis Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89110. I talk to Ruben if they can do alignment, he said tomorrow by 1 pm, i ask how much, 99 buck plus tax, so i said ok, So i came by before 1 pm jan.20 2023, talk to ruben gave my key, and i said do oil changes, and alignment. So the mechanic did oil changes, then after the mechanic drive off, i thougth his doing test driver, for aligment problem of my car, its been 40 min mechanic came back, he said cars is done (fix) No wonder why i never see my car on lift and do alignment on computer,,I guess i was rigth they took to other shop get it fix, Ruben gave my key he ask me to pay $129 , which suppose to be 99 plus tax,($110) I dont have time to argue i was piss, this guy Ruben dishonest not a good guy he could me tell in the first place tha ther aligment machine is broke, I should take my car to pepboys or meineki And now he charges me extra $20 for not doing their job and driving my car to other shop, which i never agree, the worst part is my steering wheel still crookit not straigth this is my favorite shop, They should bring back Randy nice guy & the best, i will never come back to this shop, read more

So I called Midas for the third time and I continue to get Ricky Ricky told me he's not doing anything for me. He's not gonna honor My Warranty and I didn't give him a chance. This is now the six call that I have gave Ricky since my car has been fixed or since they have taken my money and not fixed my car, the engine mount in the transmission mount they only fixed the engine mount not the transmission mount. I took it and got a second opinion and then I called them the next day And asked him if they will fix the problem. Ricky told me he don't want no deal with me and find somewhere else to go and that my car was financed and I didn't pay any cash and what city was I from because there's different routes he said I left someone else touch it. No I took it and got it inspection to see if they fix what they said they were gonna fix the following day. They never fixed it the car Lot gave me a quote and told me what they didn't do any evaluated the car and showed me that they did not pay fix what I paid for I'm not gonna keep arguing with Ricky I'm just posting this for my sanity because I don't think it's right that he continue to take my money and don't fix the problem even if I had a warranty and got a second opinion on the car he still should have honored the warranty, but they did not fix the problem and that's my issue and they lied to me and made me believe that they did but they did not fix the car. That's why I got a second opinion. Ricky is such a rude asshole, and a Smrke, who has no respect for anybody in their hard earned money. I don't care if it was fine ass I still have to pay the finance, but if the car is not fixed, I don't think it's fair that he should take my money and be rude and disrespectful to me and he's been like that since day one in the office read more

I towed my truck to Midas. Told them my truck would not start and something was leaking. After one month and only one call from then saying it was the starter, then after almost 50 days I called and was told I need a new engine. they then installed it. After 63 day and many calls from me cause they were not calling me. I called the corporate office. the next day they called and said it was ready. almost $4,000 and a week in 1/2 the truck started doing the same thing, not starting I called them they said bring it back I said I don't trust you they said I understand, the truck stopped on me and left me stranded. I called them back they said bring it in. how I might ask if it does not start. and they are very busy so I may have to wait until they can take a look at it. very very very bad service and seems like they don't know what they are doing. moving on to next steps read more

I work out of state and bought a vehicle that I knew needed work done. These guys accepted to look at it for me, in particular the overheating issue it was having. I needed the car ready to have family drive it out of state for me. Turns out they told me they fixed my overheating issue by swapping out the thermostat, radiator fan, and radiator cap. They also mentioned a few more things that needed to be done. 1. O2 sensors were having an issue but I declined that because I don't need that in the area to get vehicle registered. 2. A new starter, that one I accepted 3. New spark plugs and wires because of a misfire, this I declined because the family member I had drop it off felt no misfires. Figured if it did start happening I'd take care of it then. So fast forward to when family needed this car...they end up with a car thats still overheating. Now that I've finally gotten away from work to look at the car, the first thing I see is coolant in my oil! I call today 02/01/2021 and speak to Randy at the news location where I got the work done. Initially I was calling just to complain so that they lay better attention but Randy led me to this route of writing a review. He claims I refused a diagnostic on the vehicle which could be why they missed the coolant issue. Yet the only diagnostic I refused was to find out which O2 sensor was bad. Then he goes on to say that I should read what the invoice says so that I can be informed on what I refused and how he has no need to continue arguing with me because he wasn't working the months when I had the vehicle in plus me refusing the diagnostic on the O2 sensor is apparently why they missed coolant in my oil. End of the day you can't trust these guys. They will just try to up sell work you don't need and ignore the things they have no clue how to do. What a joke of a shop and mechanics! read more

My parking brake mechanism broke on my car today I was afraid to drive too far not knowing what kind of damage it would do to my car across the street from where I had just done my last errand was this Midas. Andy and Sal where very welcoming and rather then try to tell me it was a bunch of unnecessary stuff they listened to what I said was wrong with my car. Treated me (since I am a woman) with respect and didn't make me feel like a "dumb chick" as I have had other repair shops done. I explained my time crunch dilemma and got right to work on my car. I've always been a little skeptical with national chain type auto places, and I'd either just research how to maintain or repair my vehicle or just go to the dealership. A simple oil change was all I wanted to do, and couldn't for the life of me get the oil filter cap loosened (thanks Toyota). The free maintenance from them has expired and don't feel the need to pay extra just to renew it. I went online to request an appointment. 11:30 to 1:30 I believe was the option, and upon finishing the request, the webpage stated they'd call within 30 minutes. It was around 9 at the time. There was no word for 2 hours! In that time I could have easily found another place to do a simple oil change. Either way, they did call back and I requested 1:30pm. I came in a little early and they immediately brought my car into the bay. Very nice. They did mention they were slammed before I came so I don't blame them for not having a chance to call or check their requests. I never got any of their names but everyone working was friendly and laid back, no pressure and hidden fees. Straightforward and to the point. That's the way it should be. The person working on my car did have to put a big breaker bar to the oil filter cap just to loosen it. Something I couldn't have done unless I had a proper lift. There just wasn't enough room for me to use a big breaker bar with my normal jack and jack stands. Thanks guys, you're on my recommendations. read more

Right when I walked in the guy at the front desk answered the phone. All I said to him was hi and then waited for him to get off the phone. When he was finished I let him know I had a 1pm appointment for an oil change. Then I asked if it would take long as I was on my lunch break. He then began obtaining my info and I asked if I could pay now as I didn't not want anything other than an oil change. I had scheduled an appointment for Saturday January 1st for 2:30 pm. I made this appointment the day before so i wouldn't have to wait a long period of time. My appointment was set. Upon arrival it had looked to have been closed. I pulled up seen a gentleman in the lobby so i parked my car got out he met me at the door stating no employees had shown up for the day, i informed him i had an appointment, his exact words were welcome to America... Not quite sure what that was suppose to mean. I found that the customer service was very Poor as a return customer i will not be returning. If you have an appointment and no employees show you should have courtesy enough to call your customers who have appointments since you are sitting in the office with nothing to do because you had no employees show up would be to call your customers and inform them that you are prey for the inconvenience and will need to reschedule. I wasted my time and gas to go to the place that has been working on my vehicle for about two years. I'm still trying to figure out what welcome to America was suppose to mean.
