I first got my brakes fixed on the midas on jones april 11 2019 paid over 500 dollars, then heard squeaking noise on front left brake, went to this midas on nellis, they suppose to have fixed the problem, now have been to them 2 more times, brakes still squeaking as of today, will request a refund from midas and those who is reading this don't let them touch your car or you will regret it like me. read more

IF YOU NEED BRAKES GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE I drove by and saw their free brake inspection and decided to have mine checked out. After few minutes I was told that I needed brand new rotors on my front brakes and pads and that I had worn the rotors down so much that the could not be saved. They also wanted to do a oil flush and change which I understood needed to be done. Total quote out the door for just the brakes almost $400. 2 days Later I went to mr. Brake who told me my rotors were perfectly fine and that I only needed them machined and new pads. Under $200. I understand that they might be on commission at Midas but screwing someone over to make a buck is never okay. I will never recommend them and I hope after reading this review you choose not to use them also. read more

I had a conversation with an employee by the name of Randy "with a y". He lied about not being the owner of the location then proceeded to tell me he was the owner when I requested 5 times to speak with his supervisor. His tone, choice of words and lack of integrity during our quote unquote recorded call was very distasteful. I am appalled that Midas, being such a prominent name in the industry would allow and continue to allow someone, who treats their clients in this manner, to continue to represent their company. I will go to every length possible to ensure this man is held accountable for the way he poorly presented himself today. As I read other reviews on this Yelp, it is CLEAR there is an ongoing problem with the way they treat people. I will be contacting the local new agency to see if a report can be done to get the word out. It seems that exposure is the only way we can hold a business accountable as I was stalemated when I attempted to reach a supervisor and hung up on twice. I have filed a Customer feed back report already and am waiting for a district or regional manager to reach out pertaining this incident. There are more details to the story as I placed them in my customer feed back report. In a time when business is scare, the dollars we spend at any particular business is a vote of confidence that the business is somewhere other potential customer can feel safe coming to. They will cheat you if they can. They cheated my husband. Coupon they said was wrong one. Good customer service would've been to help him find the right or best coupon. Instead charged $110 for oil change and 2 filters. They charged $110 to tell me that my gas cap wasn't screwed on tightly. After my furious husband told them that we would obviously not be back, the manager told us that was fine, and proceeded to flip my husband off as we drove out. Nice customer service. Just for the record, we went there about a year prior to this service call for new brakes and spent about $400. The guy name Bill don't trust him. I took my car there just to charge my AC with Freon and he made us wait for 3 hours and told me that my AC has a leak. He also said that he put the Freon and charge me $154. My wife drove the car home and no sign of cool air coming out of the vent. The next morning we took it back and Sal help us put the Freon and start working right away. It only took him 5 minutes. Bill, wanted to change everything just to make money. It's so sad, would have been a nice and close to home but can't trust them no more. It's a fraud. You know Bill!!! Just had my 1983 Cadillac Coupe deville repaired here. Went to about 3 other places got a better deal here with AC Delco parts. I've been to other places who charge ore but use Autozone or Oreilly parts and yes they do have a lifetime warranty but who wants to keep paying for labor over and over. Bart got me set up with the soonest available time (nearly immediately) and helped me navigate to the shop. When we arrived, Bart listened to everything I was concerned about and addressed each thing as they came about. There were issues that needed immediate attention and some that he let us know we could wait until we got home to address. He was fair and honest and made us a priority...he went above and beyond to get us SAFELY on the road. He is a genuine guy, cares about all of his customers and runs a great shop. We brought out 3/4 ton Chevy to have the tires balanced per our warranty. We were checked in, waited 1.5 hours only to be told that they couldn't balance our 20" rims as they do not carry the part for that sized hub as there are not many heavy duty trucks in Las Vegas. I am NOT impressed. Vegas is loaded with trucks and this particular Midas is located close to the Air Force base. Many military family's have heavy duty trucks to pull their weekend campers or toys. The on-site manager said they had one of the newest machines in the city but didn't carry the part. He must have "forgotten" to order it. He told me twice that he was from Canada and they would have it in Canada. I'm not impressed "eh." We went down the road to Discount Tire, their very professional service had us out of their shop and balanced in less time than it took for me to check in at Midas. Our next set of heavy duty tires will come from Discount Tire and not Midas. read more

If i could give 0 stars i would. This place is MONEY HUNGRY. I came to this location to replace my brakes, and was told my rotors were worn and warped. I just replaced my rotors not even 6 months ago. (Also i don't ride my brakes.) Mind you, i told them i was moving out of state, so i wanted to get my car in order. I was told they wouldn't just put on breaks because i'd result in the same situation and would be wasting my money. I was told that i needed to put into my car other wise i'd just be stuck in vegas. The "owner" is unprofessional and pushy. Not only didn't he keep chiming into mine and the other associates conversation, As soon as i mentioned i've had other car people trying to take advantage of me and upsell me because I'm a female, he got an attitude. Also he basically said that if i didn't have the money for their quotes i was just wasting time, i wouldn't find anywhere else with a better price. finally i was able to get ahold of a family friend who's a mechanic. MY ROTORS WERE FINE. Just like i thought. Replaced my brakes and no more squealing. (they said if i did this, without replacing my rotors, it'd still squeal) And Midas wanted to charge me $500 something for what i DIDN'T need. read more

My cars engine had been overheating and I imagine low coolant was definitely the culprit. I had spoken to the representative Jeremy and he informed me after running pressure on the vehicles coolant they were able to spot the leak. The leak was in the water pump and then he immediately quoted me 810$ and after I told him I wasn't sure if I had the funds for this fix he immediately rushed me into the SNAP program. After stating no thank you and leaving with my vehicle I shortly noticed after pulling out of the driveway the engine overheated worse than it was prior to my 129.99 coolant flush. Driving home all lights on my car went up and the car damn near blew a gasket. I called up my mechanic friend and he shorty came over and notified me that they didn't fill the coolant all the way (basically to what it was at prior to my flush). After leaving the car idle and turning the A/C on after filling it all the way my car had no issues. There were no leaks of any kind anywhere below the vehicle. For the hell of it I called another auto shop nearby to see how much they would charge for the part and labor and they quoted only 300$!!!! This place not only is a rip off but they intentionally put me in a hazardous situation which would have caused untold damage to my vehicle making my situation far worse. read more

I took my car for our regular oil change on 4/1/2019 after we left the check engine light turned on we drove it thinking it would go away and it didn't also the car wouldn't turn on manually with the control. Well my wife took the car today 4/6/2019 to let them know I couldn't go because I was working make story short she said both the guys where rude to her ignore her to help other costumers just completely make her feel stupid no respect for women these guys have. Then when they gave her the keys back she said what was wrong with it because they didn't even said anything they said a loose cable was disconnected, obviously they did it when they change the oil but ofcourse they didnt said sorry it was us. Just disappointed because I thought i found a good place to get oil changes for both my cars i even left them a good review like 2 years ago. Over the years, they have worked on my car, my wife's, my son's, my daughter's, my brother's and my sister's vehicles. Waited almost 3 hours for them to complete my oil change because of a plug I needed. The auto parts store kept bringing over the wrong part. They even had to send Midas people there. Customer service and communication was horrible. They kept making excuses for themselves and weren't even accommodating. They kept saying that they are trying to help by offering me the plug versus the oil pan that would be more money. I wish they would have been upfront with me and told me how long the job would take. Never going anywhere else with my car! Got ripped off hardcore by Ted Weins on Flamingo and 215 earlier this year for over a grand and they didn't even fix my problem.. It was making this horrible thundering noise when I drove and was TERRIFYING especially since I have a baby riding with me almost always. Randy and the guys here took care of my car, fixed the problem, gave me two new tires and an oil change all for half the price Ted Weins charged me for nothing. Also it was done the same day! I came here for an oil change and had asked about this rattling sound that my car was making in the back drivers side. It's been making this sound for quite some time. I've taking it to several shops and none could find what the actual problem was. Jimmy one of the technicians took it upon himself to find out what the problem was and fixed it. My car no longer makes that sound thanks to him and instead of charging me hundreds of dollars to fix it he explained it was just a simple bolt missing on my strut. No extra charge. If your looking for a place to get your car fixed that has quality & honest workers and don't try to sell you on things that don't need to be fixed then come here. My battery died at the sonic across the way a few days ago, I was pretty upset but I walked over to midas and asked them to jump me. They were awesome, he was so sweet and patient with me so of course I returned to purchase a new battery. Then a couple days later my check engine light came on. I went to auto zone (I know) where they told me it was my battery. Wait, what? So I called and talked to the guy who helped me before, Randy, and if course he was amazing.
