I was looking for a good place to snag a healthy lunch prior to my gym workout. Lucky for me, I found this place! The customer service was excellent, I was seated fast and already had my drink order at the table in less than 3 minutes! Plenty of bar seating and several large tables allow for small to large groups of people to enjoy this lovely place. I ordered more than I needed because I was starving, AND I love sushi. I ordered the following: Big Cajun roll, because it looked amazing. Icy Spicy roll because it has no rice, and Super white tuna nigiri sushi. The Big Cajun was: cooked perfectly, filled with a delicious mix of Cajun spices and Asian fusion of sesame, soy, ginger The Icy Spicy roll was crunchy, fresh, flavorful, and absolutely healthy! The Super White Tuna Nigiri: was the perfect cut (not too thick, not too thin), buttery in mouth feel, flavorful, and honestly, it was my favorite!!! If you're in the Green Valley area, you must come try this place. It's delicious AND won't break the bank!

Had a really nice dinner at Midori last night. It had been several years since we'd been there, and we're glad we went. We each ordered the sushi dinner ($16.95). The meal began with miso soup and a small salad. Both were excellent, and the salad dressing was spectacular. The sushi was extremely fresh and tasty, and the cuts were generous. I appreciated that there wasn't an additional charge for having a spicy tuna roll instead of a California roll, and the roll was delicious! It tasted like it had masago in it, and the little crunch and burst of flavor elevated the dish. Our server was both nice and attentive, our seats were comfortable, and the price was really reasonable, especially considering all that was included. Would not have changed a thing. We noticed the menu for lunch specials, which I've posted here. Some of those rolls sound amazing, and we're already discussing going back for lunch.

Like the other reviews indicate, this place is a hidden gem! There is nothing I can say about the food except spectacular. The dinner specials provide a wide variety of options and are reasonably priced . Relatives turned me on to this place and whenever we are in town visiting and need a fix for Japanese food this is where we come rather than go to the Strip. The tempura is done just right and not greasy or oily. The food is plentiful and we always leave with a takeout container. Thank you for a wonderful meal! They make their inari different but we liked it. Much easier to eat. The toppings for the nigiri sushi we ordered is plentiful and the salad that comes with the dinner selection has a dressing that is perfect. The sweetness, ginger, vinegar and I can't figure out the rest has a flavor that I haven't experienced before. It's different from other dressings I've had at other Japanese restaurants and this is the best dressing I've had so far. In addition to the food the service is excellent! Our waitress is so personable always checking to see if everything is alright. Thank you and we will be back when we come to visit!

This is an excellent hidden gem in Green Valley Las Vegas. It's a shame that it isn't more popular! I truly wish the best for this business. I came back after having previously dined in the last few years and it did not disappoint. The food is a 10/10. Portions are big and full, and also really quality. They also always have piano music in the background playing so this is definitely a place where to have a nice calm date at. I will be coming back here with my partner hopefully! Lastly, the service was amazing. The lady who served us took our picture when we were struggling and offered to help. She also kept our waters full all the time and kept checking in on us. Overall I had a great dining experience here and am most definitely coming back.

It's been a while since we've had sushi, and we ended up running into this place right next door to the new Lovelady Brewing taproom. Midori is a little bigger compared to other Japanese/sushi bars we've been to. The atmosphere was excellent with soft piano music playing in the background. When my boyfriend and I walked in, we were seated almost immediately. There were so many sushi roll choices that they had, it was difficult to choose just one. I ordered the Sleepless Roll and my boyfriend ordered two rolls (because he couldn't choose just one, haha) - the California Roll and the "crunchy" Royal California Roll (which we shared). This was my first time trying a "crunchy" sushi roll and it was actually pretty good! The texture and taste was exactly like a fish stick has. The Sleepless Roll was made perfectly and had that excellent taste to it. My boyfriend's California Roll, as he described it, very tasty and fresh. And the prices can't be beat! I was surprised to see how decent our final price was with three different sushi rolls. We'll definitely be back again!

I wanna go back to try their other dishes and rolls. Their price points and quality of sashimi fish is wonderful. They have teishoku plates, bowls, Ala cart, appetizers and sake. Best thing is they have brown rice and no-rice options on their plates and rolls. Friendly service. There is piped in piano music lending a classy air to this comfortable and conversation forward atmosphere. Friendly service and lots of parking.

I ordered a Orion beer, wife had a green tea. Wife ordered some plates. They came quickly. My wife was so excited to try this restaurant, so she ordered and I ate. Everything was incredible. The sashimi , sushi, all melted in your mouth. So many different flavors with each plate. Not over powering sauces which most places do to hide the low quality of fish. Not here each piece was a culinary deliciousness of flavor. The rolls are not typical all rice little filling. The rice enhanced the filling. No need to use soy sauce! The ginger they supply was so fresh we had 4 servings of it. The restaurant is a 50s style diner, but it doesn't matter what the place looked like with this incredible food. We've NEVER had sushi like this. It's expensive, but you are paying for Japan quality sushi. With all the sushi spots and AYCE places I see why it was so slow. I asked if it gets busy, and was given a few jokingly sarcastic answers from I think owner, which was ok cause I joked back and he got it. If you want the experience of going to a master sushi chef restaurant in Japan, go to Tokyo Boys. You'll pay for a great experience. We hope when we come back to Henderson to return!

It's one of those restaurants that has become a tradition for our family, and every time we visit we're reminded why it's always packed. There has been a recent change in ownership, and they now offer an all-you-can-eat menu. I'll admit I was hesitant at first because sometimes AYCE sushi can mean sacrificing quality. Thankfully that is not the case here at all. The quality is just as good as it's always been. We started with the garlic edamame, which is always a great way to kick things off. From there we ordered steamed gyoza, yellowtail, yuzu salmon sushi, and then took advantage of one of the best parts of the all-you-can-eat menu... you can order half rolls. This makes it so easy to try a variety of different rolls without committing to full ones. That said, the one roll I will never order as a half is the Flower Roll. It's been my favorite here for years and is an absolute must every time we visit. Our waitress also recommended trying the Irish Roll, which was new to us and ended up being excellent. We'll definitely be ordering that again. We also tried a half Candy Cane Roll, which was another great option. One of the reasons we keep coming back, beyond the food, is the service. Because we've been coming here for so long, the staff recognizes us and they are always incredibly kind and welcoming. It really adds to the experience. This restaurant is almost always packed, and there's a very good reason for that. The food is consistently great and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. A couple other menu items worth mentioning: The Joe Special is fantastic (even though we didn't order it this visit), and my daughter always loves the Niku Udon noodles. After 15+ years, I Love Sushi is still a five-star experience for us, and it's a place we always look forward to visiting with family and friends.

It tasted exactly like the packaged udon you'd find in the refrigerated section at Winco, and not the good flavored ones either. I don't often complain about my food but everything was bad. The rice was wet and mushy. I requested pan fried gyoza and they deep-fried them. The udon was horrible. I had to call over someone who I believe was the manager to complain about the poor quality of the food. He didn't even offer a response and just stood there, staring at the wet rice on the plate. He didn't apologize, didn't offer to comp anything. He continued standing there awkwardly until I told him he needs to comp something because it was all bad. He offered to comp my one bowl of udon so I paid $87 for some of the worst food I've had in quite a while. Bad food and even worse service. Zero stars if I could.
