They charged us $2000 and nothing was fixed so we took it back and instead of fixing what they claimed needed to be fixed they said it would cost an additional 4800.00! Communication is non existent here. My tire went flat during the weekend. I called service dept multiple times to see if they had my tire size in stock. No answer. No worries I made an appt online the same day with Hugh. Went in and advised I had an appt and explained my situation. I guess Hugh was busy because Jesus came to help. No tire in stock. He ordered it that day and said Sunday they are closed and it will be there today. Even took my flat tire and rim so it could be ready to put on with the new tire. I was to get a call at 12:30 today to get it put on. I took the day off to get this done because I've been to this dealership before and any task is a full day (eye roll) Guess what no call..I try to call multiple times..of course NO ANSWER. I go to the dealerships around 1:30 pm. I explain what's going on about 5 times to multiple people. Adrian starts to help me and states Jesus wasn't even in today..GREAT. Then proceeds to tell me he cannot find any type of paperwork, and to top it off states the weekend orders don't get processed till Monday and the tire will be there tomorrow. I know for a fact that was a lie because Jesus specifically told me he submitted the order and it will be there Monday. So aka he never submitted the order. All this took well over an hour. Over an hour for a simple the tire was never ordered. I took the day off for nothing. Adrian wasn't apologetic it was just are you coming tomorrow? There was no I'm sorry for the inconvenience, no options were given. Then he says I'm just trying to help..and!? I'm doing just what I was told! Absolutely ridiculous! I called the parts department to see if they had a specific part I needed for my car and the gentleman that answered (sounded like he hates his life so he takes it out on customers) eventually found the part, said he had it in stock, but when I asked for the part number and the name of the part so I can confirm that's what I need, he said "I can hold the part for you but I can't give out that info to you." After going back and forth explaining and spelling it out for him why I need the name of the part and the part number, he still refused. Like as if he was paying for it or I was taking it from him personally. (WTF) I did some research, found the exact part I needed for $50 less for the SAME THING. Second time here and wonder why I gave a second chance. Arrived for 7 am appointment, a service person said someone would help me shortly. Someone helped me not the person assigned to me. He was very nice. Received a text saying if I had any questions during my visit to text or call. I texted when we I was waiting a long time. I walked over to check if it was almost done. My service advisor was at desk. I said my appointment was at 7 am it's been over an hour and a half. He told me that the appointment at 7 just means that when you talk to them. It would be another 30 minutes. He said the normal time is 2 hours for an oil change. Went back to lounge to work then they called a couple minutes later and said my car was done. I was glad that it was not the 30 minutes he said. An appointment everywhere else means that's what time your cat should be taken care of. Really 2 hours for an oil change. I bought my car and get it serviced here. Three stars because the staff is super friendly and do the best they can with what they are given. It would be 1 star if this was based on the amount of time you wait for things to get done. Good lord I consistently wait an aggressive amount of time for simple tasks like an oil change. Not really sure what the point of making an appointment is if you're going to have to wait 3 hours when you could drop on by the jiffy lube and get it done in under 10. Like I said the staff, mainly my main service guy Blake Scott, is great and the other ones I've worked with are pretty much no bs- which I appreciate. I have 2021 Silverado Truck with only 11K miles. A warning message came on the display stating "engine power reduced " I called Midway service for an appointment and was told to bring it in. When I got there the service tech said it would be 5 to 7 days before they could look at it. I was told they no longer do rental cars or loaners. I went to the sales floor to talk to the guy I purchased the truck from and he wasn't there so I went to the desk to ask the lady for the manager. She was rude, snappy and wanted to know why I wanted to see him. I explained to her the issue and she said I need to talk to the service manager. I said no I want to talk to a sales manager so they are aware that the extended warranty and service level they think they are selling is not getting honored. She rolls her eyes at me and calls the manager. He comes up seems polite I explained the issue and he tells me there is a car shortage and there is nothing he can do. The lady at the desk bust out laughing with her loud mouth and starts dancing by her desk. She looked foolish and totally unprofessional. The manger smiles at her as if he is enjoying her dance so I walked off. Totally unprofessional people! I will never purchase another vehicle there. Josh S . BUYER BEWARE -THIS DEALERSHIP DOES NOT HONOR ADVERTISED PRICES. I tried to resolve this directly with the dealership but they continue to waste my time with explanations that further outline their shadiness. At the start of the day yesterday we contacted the dealership about two units listed on the site. We confirmed both were available for the price listed. We provided all of the information requested for financing. Remained in contact with the sales person throughout the day as he was busy with other customers. As we put the final numbers together with approved financing, we noticed the payment was higher than what our calculations showed so we asked. At that point we were told there is a second sticker with dealer installed options (which I don't want and don't have a use for). I was asked what price we wanted and we asked for the price on the site. the sales person claimed to go back to management and was told that they could only take $750 off the price which should be an already included incentive. We are talking almost $3K in additional costs. Today I called their Customer Service person as I noticed that all Yelp replies have her number. No return call. Submitted an inquiry to their contact form and got two sales people trying to contact me. I assume they didn't even read my inquiry. The person I texted with revealed to me that they hadn't even installed the package as of yesterday but it might be being installed today. Very shady. The sales person I am speaking with now can't even confirm if it has already been installed. So I am to pay more than the advertised price for something that may or may not be installed? The sales person yesterday could have stopped the installation to facilitate the sale of the truck. Now I am just being told repeatedly the price plus the dealer add-ons. How you can improve: 1. The dealership should have the correct price and options listed on the site OR the salesman should be up front at the BEGINNING of the conversation on what the price is and the options that have been added. If the salesman isn't up front, take the bullet and honor the original price and spend your time training your sales people on better practices. Very reasonable expectation. 2. If a package hasn't been installed at the time of the deal, you should just omit it immediately and honor the price online. 3. If you have no interest in actually making a situation right, don't bother contacting the customer to harass them again by repeatedly saying "That is the price." It wastes everyone's time. read more

If I could give these guys negative stars, I would. Please don't take your car here for service. We brought our 2013 Chevy Tahoe in because we were getting ready to trade it in, and the heater seats weren't working. We had an extended warranty, and everything should've been covered. They had our car for over a week, and when we went back to pick it up, the problem wasn't fixed. We left it again, but this time they found more problems but these weren't covered under warranty. So that cost another $1000 out of pocket. They also swindled our insurance company out of a new windshield that we didn't need. We picked it up again, and about 2 hours after we left, the engine light came on. Now,' more problems that were caused by them. We don't feel comfortable bringing our car back there, so we'll have our local shop fix it. My husband has left several messages for these people, and they never call back. They don't care about helping you fix your car, they're only there to make as much money off you as possible. Please find another place to take your car. read more

DO NO BUY A MALIBU. I bought a 2019 Chevy Malibu from a dealership for just under $23,000. As soon as I drove it off the lot ,the steering wheel started to shake back and forth between 38-42mph. Took it to the dealer, they balanced the tires. That didn't fix it. The second time I took it back, they rebalanced the tires AGAIN. No change, The THIRD time, they replaced one of the tires tire that had extra rubber and said that would fix the problem. I drove the car a mile off the lot and turned right back around because the steering wheel started to shake ONCE again. So the FOURTH time I took the vehicle back they found a bulletin posted by GM "known issue - Resolution: Keep your hands on the wheel". It's not that I don't have my hands on the wheel, I just relax my fingers. I called the Sales Manager, he said "Come on in, let's discuss". Well, that was a total waste of my time. I was met by a salesman. I test drove the next model up for Malibu, steering wheel shook during test drive. Salesman witnessed it. They then tried to sell me a Camaro for $33,000. Of course, the trade in value for the Malibu with 5000 miles was $13000. I repeatedly said I do not want to pay any extra money, I have NO extra money. Malibu is a HORRIBLE car, has a DEFECT with NO RESOLUTION. We have escalated to GM, NO luck there either. My family has gone thru 5 Chevy cruises with no issues. With this experience, we will not buy another GM car EVER. read more

I would strongly advise against doing business with the service department here. While I cannot speak to every employee of said department, I can speak to the very poor customer service of service advisor Andrew Crush. I started hopeful with Midway Chevrolet when they got my Camaro a same day appointment as my call on a Saturday morning when my check engine light came on and Courtesy Chevrolet was not able to get me in that day. Now I'm not so surprised Midway had openings... Andrew assured me he would have the car checked that day and he would give me a call. 5 hours later I had not heard anything and I called to check in. It was clear they had not done more than open the hood and the trunk when they told me they could not do anything to the car because it had Nitrous and a tune. I assured them if they looked more closely at the nitrous bottle they would see it is not connected, nor had ever been used. Later the service manager called and told me they could not look at the car more until Monday because it has a tune and their non-accessory mechanics could not do anything with it. I am here to know why my check engine, Stabilitrak, light came on. Can you give me literally any information other than telling me what I already know about my car? I had to go out of town for the week and called Andrew daily to check on the progress. I never received a call back despite the receptionist assuring me "Andrew will call you back as soon as he can." Wednesday Andrew texted me that my car would be towed to performance shop "X" for them to check the engine/tune and he would give me the contact information of the shop when it arrived. Thursday evening comes and I need to know where my car is. I called Midway Chevy to get this information, and was again assured Andrew would call me back. 30min till their closing I had heard nothing. I was transferred between 3 receptionists and my called eventually was merged with another disgruntled customer who had been on hold. Both of us were confused why our calls were merged rather than getting our service advisors'. I called again and the receptionist had to go ask Andrew where my car is. I was then told it was at performance shop "Y". Called performance shop "Y" and they do not have the car, nor have they been contacted about it at all. Friday, I drove 2 hours in a rental I had for that week (that Midway did not offer, nor reimburse me for) from my job in Tuscon to find out where my car is. Dragon, the service manager did not appear to be tracking the location of my vehicle either when I arrived. I shared with him that Andrew had been very poor at communicating the location or any information about my car over the past week. Dragon and I went to Andrew to inquire the whereabouts of my car and Andrew said the lot key holder was supposed to tow the car there at some point. At some point?! I was told two days ago it was going there. They asked me to wait in the waiting room while they tracked down the car. Surprise, surprise, my car had never been taken to any performance shop for service. I requested my keys, saying I'll take it myself. No apologizes offered. The positive I can say is they did not charge me for doing, well, nothing. I took my car to a performance shop 10min away that scanned the computer same day and gave me information of all engine codes and possible causes, for free. I will never take my car to a Chevrolet service dealer again. My car will now only go to locally owned businesses that demonstrate integrity and customer service is shown through their actions, not just mentioned by a voice recording while you're on hold for 20min. read more

I called based on an ad they had in the autotrader for a Colorado ZR2. Advertised price is $36,250. I confirmed this price on the phone and asked for this in writing from Troy Newsome. He sent me an invoice reflecting a price of $37,875. I then received an e price which reflected the advertised price so I thought this might work out. I then asked for this in an official form since I would be flying from San Diego to Pheonix to make the purchase. The official price I received then reflect a price of $39,875. The price kept going up every time I got closer to pulling the trigger on a purchase. There is no way I can trust these shady players. About 2 years ago I made one online inquiry about a car they had. Little did I know it was a huge mistake TRUSTING Midway with my personal information. They had one car I was looking at and I went with something else. I didn't even go to the dealership I just sent an email asking some general questions. They called me and I informed them I'm going with another car. They said ok and hung up. The harassing started about a month later. I got a call & voicemail with the typical desperate comments stating I hear "you are looking for a car" So I took my time and contacted them spoke with someone and was told "oh sorry for the bother it won't happen again and your name and # will no longer be called". About a month later same crap from this lame dealership. I called again and this time requested to speak with a manager. I forgot the name but I do remember it was an "internet Manager" which to me doesn't mean manager means internet sales person but either way it's who they put on the phone as the manager. The person assured me it was taken care. LIES, I will admit the monthly calls turned into quarterly. So they have a process and Dave why don't you take ownership of this and just admit you direct your sales people to do this? Once this dealership has your contact info you will forever be harassed by this dealership. I have blocked most of the #'s but sometimes the salesmen calls from there cell phone. The last time this dealership contacted me was on 11/09 "Rob" called and even stated the car info I was looking at about 2 years ago. I have contacted this JOKE of a dealer repeatedly and have been promised repeatedly that they would stop calling me. The General Manager knows dang well the poor unprofessional marketing they are up to. In fact, he runs the place so it's on you Dave. Acting like he is going to take care of it cracks me up cuz I have been told this many times. This is the most disingenuous, dishonest and flat out quasi-fraudulent dealer I've encountered. My wife and I went to buy a car and after working with Dirk for a while we decided on a 2014 Malibu, we had two trades and they worked up numbers that while high, we decided to move forward. We sat around for 2 1/2 hours waiting on financing and when we went in to complete the paperwork, most all the wording and names were incorrect so most paperwork had to be rewritten. We finalized the paperwork and then went home thinking everything was kosher!! By Wednesday we had received a call from the finance department (he said he was the manager) saying we just needed to come back and sign a few more papers (that seemed normal considering they flubbed a lot of the original paperwork). When we got there we waited again for some time only to be told the whole deal was wrong, our max payment was far less than thought and the whole time the finance manager was aware or this, was deceptive to me on the phone just to get us back in... really! like we're going to steal your junk! Not knowing the truth of the matter we had only brought one key for the car and while they were rounding up our traded in vehicles they acted almost shocked that we only had one key..again, REALLY!! We felt for the sales person as he seemed somewhat dazed about this too and was unaware of the bait and switch. Come on Midway, their is no way you do NOT know the deal was structured incorrectly as you do AUTO FINANCING in your sleep.. shameful! When we originally worked the deal my wife had given them the gas cap lock key so you can guess what.. ya, they couldn't find it that night so we had to sweat making it back home but the new sales manager said he's send someone over if needed to remove our lock.. oh wow! So the next day Dirk calls us saying they found the key and that they wanted to exchange, I told him no way were we driving back there EVER so he agreed to mail it to us and I the same for the extra key.. guess what, two weeks now and Dirk still hasn't mailed the key and this dealer being so shady I didn't mail theirs back until I saw mine. So I guess I'm the proud owner of a Chevy Malibu key.. morons! Stay away from this crooked, rotten dealer just bad all the way around. spent 7 plus hours of our lives that we'll never get back! Oh and we went to Peoria Ford on Bell and got a New Fusion in under 3 hours and all is done and at 300.00 less per month too. Fleet/internet department: 4 stars Financing department: 2 stars I have now purchased 4 new Chevrolets from them in the last 11 years. When I leased the 98 Malibu the internet part of the fleet department was sort of an afterthought. The entire department was three people tucked down a hallway and you could not get to them evenings and Sundays. I was back in 01 to buy the Malibu off of lease and again for an 03 Tracker and then an 04 Silverado. For all three of those trips the fleet/internet department had all six cubicles in the hallway. Yesterday I picked up an HHR and the fleet/internet department has been doubled in size and is staffed the same hours as the rest of the sales force. Even though it occupies 1/2 as much space as the rest of the sales force it accounts for over half of the sales. Just to make sure I was still getting a decent deal I had two other local dealers quote the same vehicle. The other two dealers chose to invite me to come in without giving me a quote. Fail. The price I paid was within $2 of what Edmunds said people in this area were paying for that vehicle. And I did not have to play any games to get there. Each time I have dealt with them there have been multiple cars ready for me to drive at the appointment time. Except for the Silverado which involved a dealer swap the entire process was one trip of three hours or less. When dealing with the fleet/internet department there is no haggling, they give you a price and you take it or leave it. I have so far always found their price to be a fair one. Too bad you have to go through the finance department to get out of there. They always have at least a half dozen ups and extras to explain to you. I don't buy much extra stuff, like only GMPP, but you still have to sit and listen to it or fly in to F-bombs, jimmy kicking mode which raises your blood pressure and really doesn't save you any time. At least at this dealership no one has ever insulted my intelligence for not purchasing something. That may be because I know as much or more about what they are doing than they do. Age and having been in the car business has some benefit. I have listened in to the normal sales deals going on around me while waiting for people and am glad I no longer play those games. I cannot say much about the service department because I only dealt with them once in 98 and that positive experience led to the first purchase. Car buying sucks but at least their fleet/internet department has softened the pain quite a bit. read more

I was lucky enough to be assigned Cesar Valenzuela, it's rare someone listens to you and understands all your concerns and he is exactly that person who does both. My vehicle has never been so well cared for and I owe a debt of gratitude to Cesar at Midway. Don't hesitate to call and ask for him, you will not regret it. I had many issues with my warranty company and he knows how to approach the situation and what to say. What should have been costly on my end, ended up only paying a small deductible. If there were a negative star rating that is where I would go with this review. Midway is an extremely shifty and snake oil salesman type of place to shop. I had been playing around with the idea of trading in my car for some time, so I figured I would gather some information on the new malibu...and saw an internet ad that promises a $25 gas card for anyone that test drives the Equinox on Tuesdays. So, I figured, why not? Gather my intel, get a gas card- and get out- win/win, right? Yeah, not so much. The finance manager actually suggested that since the car I drive (Dodge Caliber) has such a low resale value and there is negative equity there that I get the new car loan, and then let the caliber go into reposession! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! Right, because nothing looks better on a credit report than a repo! Which would then turn in to TWO repo's once the bank garnished my wages for the first one! Then to add rainbow sprinkles to the sugar of a deal I was being offered- they made sure my print out of the ad disappeared with the finance manager- and only offered a $15 gas coupon. When I expressed my disgust with the false advertising, they said I would have to wait for the finance manager to get back to me to discuss, since they only knew of a $15 advertsiement. As I had already wasted an hour of my life, I was just DONE, and said as much- so they helpfully escorted me to a gas station and pumped what they could fit into my car...which was only about $12 since I had just filled up. They don't give out actual gas cards, ya know. NICE, and extremely helpful. Bottom line- if this is the type of service you can expect from this dealership, I would stay WAY THE HECK away. Shady sales practices and telemarketer harassment!! We bought a used trailblazer here 3 years ago, during the look over of the vehicle the sales mgr told it had a new michelins on it so on the driver side it looked great. Little did we know, one tire was not. Liars! Found that out a month or so after we bought it and we're washing it. So now, fast forward a few years. We traded the trailblazer in for a brand new gmc Acadia... 1.5 years ago. They keep calling to take our trailblazer in as a trade. I keep telling them, we have since gotten rid of it and they still call, same story. Many times Ive asked to be removed from the calling list to only get a call a month later to trade in my trailblazer. Sigh! I don't want an effing car from you people!!! And when it's time to buy a new car, I'm staying FAR away from this dealership! Harassment is not cool! Oh and they always call at bedtime for my kids. Seriously.... read more

I contacted AutoNation about a used car they were advertising, a 2011 Avalon, against my better judgement. I dealt with Isabella Johnson. Loser. Normal car stuff...price was too high...I told them my price, said to accept it or leave me alone. Done. 20 minutes later I get a call from another dealer, Midway Chevrolet in Phoenix. He has my phone number and my email address. "Heard I was looking for a car. A spark?" Friends don't send friends to Midway Chevrolet. read more

Was at this dealership back in 2007 to purchase a Chevy Malibu. Boy, did i ever regret going to this dealership. Sale managers were jerks and would not take no for an answer. I was there for almost 3 hours haggling with them. Finally they backed me into a corner and i gave into their strong arm sales pitch. Much to my shame. In 2011 i was back at this dealership trying to see if i could get a good deal on a new car. Nope, again those sales managers were very rude and arrogant. 1 hour and 30 minutes later the manager finally said" Okay, no deal. Get out of here". The manager sounded like an Italian mob boss. He was acting like i wasted his time. How about you jerks wasting my time. Makes me suspect that this dealership is owned by the mob, and the sales manager is a made man. Hope i don't end up in an accident and my knee caps are broken because of this review. lol Customer service is very bad at this dealership. I would avoid it unless you like being berated and treated like dirt. (Note: the guys on the floor are super friendly, but the sales managers are very rude.) read more

I never do this but I'm so frustrated with Midway Chevrolet and there phone system that I had to write a review... seriously I tried calling the parts department today using two different phone numbers after I googled the business. An hour & a half later I finally said uncle...after being put on hold forever, 3 times they hung up on me. The only reason I tried calling this business is because it is the closest Chevy store to my home. Obviously they have all the business they need. Too bad you can't get ahold of a human voice. In my 60 years I have never seen anything like it. I was in business for 35 years and could not afford to handle my business like midway Chevrolet handles there's. Very very frustrating and time consuming. I need this part for my truck and can't wait for an online delivery. Too bad there won't be a next time. Too bad I can't post a negative number. Typica used car scam stuff . Was quoted a out the door price and showed up to make the deal , as we suspected $2,900 over the price that was quoted . Andy the sales manager on the used car side was a complete arrogant @ss&ole. He tried to throw a paper on the desk and explain that the "dealer options " were non negotiable.. that's strange considering the word OPTION.. stay away from This place ..you'll get the typical run around and waste a lot of time . Just received a answer to my Yelp review .. clearly they have no clue as to what their sales people and finance gUy told me .. again more standard used car bs .. as stated before stay away from this auto place !! read more
