I work close so I come here often for my lunch and every single time without a doubt I have the same employee helping me in drive thru, I believe her name is Amalia. She is always so kind and efficient and gets my order correct every single time. I only ever had Miguel's Jr at friends houses who raved about it, and any time I tried it, it was very good. This location, however, was a letdown and didn't match up to the food I had from friends. The prices seemed pretty high($10 for a 3 taco plate, or $4 for single taco) for what really tasted like canned food. I had 2 shredded beef taco's, and while the meat itself had a decent flavor, it was terribly watery and super greasy, and the cheese was very hard as well. I also had an order of the chicken taquito's, and while they were crispy, the chicken itself lacked any seasoning or flavor, and the guacamole topping was flavorless as well. My son had the Carne asada platter which came with rice and beans. He said the tacos were just OK, and the rice and beans tasted canned and not as good as other local places we have been. If I am ever in the area of a different Miguel's location, I'll give it a try, but not this one. read more

I ordered door dash because I'm stuck in the hospital with my dad. I ordered my regular combo and chips and guacamole. As soon I took the first bite, the chips are stale. They are not crunchy, they are chewy. I immediately call the store to advice them, because they should test their food beforehand. Instead of apologizing, she begins to advice that the chips were made at 6 am and maybe it's taste and there is nothing she can do. I asked for her name and she refused to provide. I asked for a manager and she offered to give me his number. Wasted my time by even calling them, all I wanted as for some other customer not experience bad chips but her horrible customer service skills, just made me angry. Never going to that location!!! First of all, I cannot believe that this is my first time trying this place! I saw this girl that I follow on TikTok posted a video of how amazing this place is and how great the tacos were so of course I had to try it. Lol. Tacos legit are the best tacos I've ever had in my life. I got the meal which comes with a shredded beef taco and a shredded chicken taco With rice and beans and everything is so good. I paid for chips and guacamole and the guacamole is 100 times better than chipotle big time and I've never said that about any guacamole ever. This is definitely one of my favorite places. It's been a few years since I've stopped by a Miguel Jr.'s. We used to get their burritos & tacos, always delicious! Today, I happened to get off the freeway because of traffic & I ended up at the drive through at the Haven/ 60fwy location in Ontario. I ordered a bean & cheese burrito for my hubby & a chicken tostada with beans, lettuce and tomatoes for myself. I asked the drive through girl ( Sabrina ) if she had nachos for kids & at first she said they only had the large nachos with meat, cheese, tomatoes, etc. I asked her again if they offered a smaller size for a kid, like just chips & cheese , & she said yeah, they could do a "mini version". So I said, ok, my daughter would like that. She asked if I wanted to add any meat & I told her no, she just wants cheese on them. My total came to $15.03 for only three items and I was surprised the nachos were still over $5 bucks for a kids size, but whatever. It wasn't until I got home that I realized the nachos had beans, tomatoes, and "cheese" but it looked very dried up and plasticky. My daughter was not interested & I couldn't blame her. My tostada was perfect & hubby's burrito was just as tasty. But I'm not giving them a one star for the food. It's for the total lack of accommodation when I called to ask if I could return with my receipt to receive a credit for the nachos since I just wanted cheese over chips. The girl over the phone who said her name was Sabrina ( which was the same girl who took my order ), just kept saying "oh I'm sorry, but that's just how our nachos come". She then said she would ask her manager, only to say "I'm sorry, but my manager said she can not give you a credit because there was nothing wrong with the food." I then told her, well that's too bad, since it was not what I thought I ordered. I only wanted chips with cheese type of nachos. And then she said, well next time maybe you can just order the chips with cheese which is on our menu and not nachos. She said her manager's name was "Ally" , & it's too bad "Ally" doesn't see any value in accommodating a customer so they're happy to return again, and perhaps I could be writing 5 Star review instead of 1 Star. read more

12/29/23 12:30pm approximately. Order was take by a guy wearing a drive thru headset. Seems funny to have to specify hot food but I specifically asked for a hot chili Relleno burritos. Order was ready is 2 minutes and was cold. Cheese and was a solid block in burrito. So I take it back to the same arrogant guy with the headset and asked for hot burritos. He kinda looked like I was bothering him. And a couple of minutes later I received 2 new cold burritos. WOW. Am I in the wrong for wanting to eat hot food? What's the hype? I have no clue but I keep on coning back for their bean, rice and cheese burrito. I don't know what it is, the bean, rice or tortilla? But everything together taste so good! Make sure you ask onions and cilantro in the burrito because re rolling that burrito isn't the same. It'll just break on you. The red sauce with the burrito is a must also. We also get an order of the taquitos. I don't usually eat taquitos but the green/guacamole sauce is good. I usually don't like that type of sauce because it taste like fake guacamole. Miguel's is nothing fancy but it delivers to your taste bud. Had the carne asada taco before too and it the meat was cooked amazing! More on the medium side, which people may not like but the flavor was there. My fiancé and I always come when we are in town. read more

I'm sorry that I had to give a one star, but I had a poor experience at the Haven location. I went through the drive thru and placed my order. It was quite a bit of food. I was given my receipt and everything was correct on the receipt. I didn't physically check my order. I drove a short while to my home to find some items missing. I called and told them I was enroute. I parked curbside and had to wait longer than expected. I saw a whole bunch of cars go through the drive thru before I got my order. I called them when I arrived and had to repeat my order of missing items. A nice employee came out and gave me my missing items and apologized, which I appreciated. I checked my order before leaving and saw they forgot to give me the correct number of salsas I had requested so I had to call the restaurant again. This time they came out quickly and gave me the correct number of salsas. By the time I got home my food was lukewarm and I missed eating dinner with some of my relatives. So my biggest complaint is that they didn't get my order right, which caused a domino effect for me. I highly recommend you untie the bag and go through your order before you leave. Employees are very nice. I will give them another chance to get it right. They just need to slow down and check their orders. read more

The BRCs were a certain size. Like a good size. Now it's the same exact tortilla with about 1/3 less of ingredients. The burrito is sad like most of us during a diet. Aside from that most of their food has gone down in size and up in price. I bought a burrito that was $6 and some cents today, but at the window I was charged $10 because I had carne asada... don't they usually tell you "that'll be an extra $2, is that fine?" Combo #1 looked as if it had been sitting under heat lamp or warmed in the micro wave until I got there. I pre-ordered. I was told order would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. Again, if this was a bigger city, I would have choices and if I was not in a hurry - lunch time - I would have ventured further away. Anyway, this place was so close to my work spot that I had to at least take a break there. For lunch, I had their Famous Miguel Jr. shredded chicken burrito, and made it wet (they put sauce and cheese on top, with some guacamole and chips. They had a small sauce and chilli bar next to the drink machine. Not well stocked and the sauces were a bit of a disappointment. The other burrito that is popular is the FAMOUS GARBAGE BURRITO - may want to rethink the name. Marketing should be sent out with the garbage. The meal was ok.
